Enpowera: Fair warning, things get kind of dark here.
The night wore on, a certain princess sneaking out of bed to get a head start on traveling to the next temple, doing her best to sneak out, despite having to use the walls to help her as she felt more dizzy with each step. She shook her head a bit to try and clear it to little avail. She couldn't help it as she started getting weaker, along with having some sharp pain. She gave a silent cry and slid to the floor. A knight heard something go thump, found it was the princess and quickly ushered her to the healers to have her looked over. The healer quickly roused herself and sent the night to go fetch the King and Queen as she noticed a bit of blood, Bunny silently crying out again. Zelda and Link were quick to jump out of bed and check on their daughter. The Healer meekly informed them that it seemed the princess had started miscarrying. Zelda's only reaction was to hold one of Bunny's hands and pray. Link followed suit, holding her other hand. The Healer only left long enough to prepare some medication for pain for Bunny, apologizing for not being able to help more. Word quickly started spreading that morning while Bunny passed out after a particularly bad cramp, the Healer ushering the King and Queen out and requesting some maids to help clean the princess up as her discomfort eased. A short while later, the Healer let the Royals back in, explaining that the princess needed to let her body recover before doing any strenuous activity and that she was sorry for the loss.
"You...did what could be done, that is all we can ask for. Thank you. We can watch her, please return to bed." Zelda gave a curtsy and then went inside. "Bunny…?"
Bunny exhaustedly opened her eyes to look at her mother.
Zelda went to her side and hugged her. She didn't say anything for the longest time, only held her little girl. Bunny didn't push her away, but couldn't help but feel her mother was probably relieved. Zelda kissed her forehead and stroked her hair.
"I...I am deeply sorry for what happened, Bunny. No one should ever experience such a hardship. If you need anything, I will have some handmaidens nearby to assist you. Let me just grab a bell so they know when they are summoned, okay?"
Bunny just nodded before hiding back under the covers. She fell into an uneasy sleep for most of the day, missing the revenge filled Sages all heading out to go finish the last couple of temples. She could feel her courage slipping away as she started developing a fever. The handmaidens and Healer tended her dutifully.
"Link...it may be time for me to travel to the goddess springs and pray for Bunny's recovery." Zelda informed her husband as the two of them watched their daughter from the shadows. "But...I fear what may happen upon my departure."
Link nodded, staying by Bunny's side. He wrote that he'd manage while she was gone.
Zelda hugged him tightly. "Please let her know when she is lucid."
He nodded again, making the promise as he hugged back.
"Thank you…" she finally let go and gave him a brief kiss, "then I must be off. Farewell my love, I believe in you."
'Goodbye,' He mouthed, praying this wasn't a mistake.
A couple days later had Bunny still in bed, fever broke but too broken mentally to try getting up. Elsewhere had the group of sages getting ready to enter the Shadow temple.
"So, uh...Lonán?"
"Yes, Adara?"
"Your parents are both sages, yeah?"
"Yes, of Shadow and Li...there might be some conflicts once we defeat the monsters inside." Lonán winced a bit at the thought.
"I'm sure Ravi or I am the sage of Shadow," Hilda encouraged, "you're too sunny to be the Sage of Shadow."
"Aww, thank you Hilly." Lonán smiled and gave her a quick hug. "Given how everything's been going, that's the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time."
Hilda nodded, "Now let's head in. Just be careful, I've heard stories about this place. Dad told me all about it and then some."
"Yeah, like," And Ravi proceeded to talk through most of the temple, making it hard for anyone to actually be afraid even when dealing with all the scary things. At least it also meant time flew by and eventually came to the boss room, wherein held an undead Wizzrobe that was quick to summon Stalfos and try to hit them all with a weird teal-purple magic. Adara learned the hard way that the magic causes her body to work in the opposite of what she wanted, in addition to preventing her from being able to actually attack anything. The only good news was that it was temporary, but the bad news is that it meant anyone that was hit was instantly vulnerable.
This had everyone on guard, at least until Ravi used a trusty boomerang to stun the monster, followed by hook shooting it with his sword drawn, using the hookshot's momentum to help him stab the monster. He grinned as it shrieked and died.
The Stalfos died when their master was eliminated and anyone hit with the confusion magic was instantly fixed. From the unsettling dark colored fires that the body of the Wizrobe came the Medallion of Shadow, which spun around a bit to shake off some fire soot and then floated to Hilda. She touched it and gained a dark scepter with a dark purple jewel embedded in on end. She gave it a try, launching a dark magic attack that also darkened the room.
"What's that touching my foot?" Ravi questioned as he felt something move.
"Portal out, now!" Everyone ran to the portal out and left the scary temple behind.
"Now onwards to the temple of Light!" Hilda pointed her staff towards where the Temple of Light should be, accidentally cloaking the group in darkness. "Hopefully it comes with Rod of Light…"
Everyone agreed with that and just waited for it to move on. Luckily it didn't last long and the group was able to keep moving. Lonán took the lead since it was more than likely now that he was the next Sage, Neja on his left and Adara on his right since they were slightly more equipped to fight compared to Hilda and Ravi. They soon reached the field and realized there were camps of monsters forming.
"...I think Damon told them." Lonán sighed. "If only we had a Sheikah on the team, then one could sneak around and take them all out with trickery."
"Can anyone see if they got barrels of explosives?" Adara inquired as she tried to spot the telltale red-colored wood.
"...Normally I'd say that'd be a bad idea, but there's too many of them and not enough of us. If they do have them, have at it Adara." Lonán sighed.
Adara just had this massive smile that worried everyone but Ravi. Unfortunately they couldn't spot any obvious explosive barrels, meaning they hadn't put them in red barrels. The group sighed and worked on sneaking past, using the Rod of Darkness to hide them in the night. They reached the light temple and rushed in.
At the castle had Link and Sir Peter rushing around issuing orders as the monsters started to make their move. Link focused on the perimeter, hoping keeping them out would keep Bunny safe. Sir Peter was doing his best to keep up with everything going on with the news of the monsters, but his age was starting to show itself as he would get easily winded and needed to sit down. Some part of him seemed to be thinking about something and it looked like it filled him with some dread.
Link inquired about what was wrong, quickly scribbling a note.
Sir Peter put a hand on his former charge's shoulder. "Your Majesty...it may be time to collect the older Sages and see if they can assist somehow. These monsters are made and powered by an ancient dark magic, something that our men aren't fully prepared for and may never be in any circumstance. It may also be time to see if Lorule may lend it hand in our plight, maybe with our combined armies the numbers might equal out and give us a better chance."
Link nodded, going to send off the messages. The problem was that they were so focused on the monsters outside they missed a certain king of evil slipping inside, planning to finish what he started.
If memory serves, up this flight of stairs is where the infirmary is? Ganon hoped his vessel's memories were correct as he stalked up the stairs. I can sense her Triforce, it's weak but it means I'm on the correct path. Very soon, it will be mine as her life expires by my hand!
Bunny was trying to get herself roused as she heard whispers about the monsters. She knew it wasn't the time to be full of doubt and self pity. She was the Hero, she needed to step up even if no one else had any faith in her to succeed.
Ganon's Triforce was starting to glow as Bunny tried to find the courage to go on. You foolish child, your bravery will be what undoes you. After ducking in the darkness to avoid getting spotted by some hurrying knights, he continued on until he found the infirmary. He cracked his knuckles, sent anyone coming at him into a magical suspension and drew Damon's scimitars, now altered to fit the look of his armor and radiating dark fire. Bunny paused just after she got out of bed, sensing the dark magic.
I wonder if I act like a turncoat he'd buy it? She quietly pondered, before putting the idea on the backburner as he entered.
He smirked at seeing how vulnerable she looked due to only being in a nightgown. "Even with your Triforce still residing within you, this will be easy enough." He charged forward while swinging his sword in sync.
She dodged rolled to avoid the strike, before trying to summon her weapon to help her. Only it didn't come. For once in her life she felt pure terror as she realized she actually was helpless. She tried to motion that she gave up, pointing to the marking on her hand to show that she'd hand it over.
"It's about time a little welp like yourself understood your place in this!" Ganon sheathed his weapons, roughly grabbed her wrist and worked on bringing her Triforce out to claim as his own.
She winced as he roughly held her wrist, but didn't attempt to cry out as he painfully tried to bring forth the triforce. She noticed a glow on his hand as he kept trying to absorb her piece, realizing it was his revealing itself to absorb the last piece. Goddesses, I'm sorry I failed. It's hard to have courage when you're standing alone.
Ganon growled as the process seemed to be taking longer than he wanted, "Relinquish your Triforce! I don't care that you have no voice, just say or do something to make it happen!"
That was when an old sand rod hit Ganon on the back of the head, and from the cracking noise that was heard it was a strike full of fury. Raja was shown to have been the cause as she was dressed in her Spirit Sage finery - with a bit of additional silver armor - and kicked his body aside. "I've been informed of what's happened. While I'm still unhappy with Damon's actions, it was liberating to know I've hit Ganon after he banished me from home. Please understand the strike was against the former king, not the current prince."
Bunny gave no response, except just lowering her head submissively as Ganon turned to face the intruder, stepping closer to him to show she had no intention of running away.
"Traitor." Ganon remembered her despite the years passing.
"Tyrant." Raja unsheathed her weapons and began fighting against him.
Bunny was just lost on what to do, before eventually tackling Raja when it looked like she was close to landing a blow, making it apparent she switched sides. She then winced as Raja pushed her aside, curling up on herself a bit.
"Forgive me princess, but you've lost your mind!" Raja scolded.
Bunny just shot her a glare, some hints of the warrior she'd become poking through slightly. She stood back up to go join Ganon's side, hoping he understood her intentions to join him.
"It seems the little rabbit has decided her loyalties to this body are more important!" Ganon laughed, took Bunny into his arms and teleported to fight another day.
"You've got to be kidding…!" Raja groaned and then went to inform everyone of what just happened.
Link took the news the worst, looking confused and heartbroken and wondering how they'd ever tell Zelda. The discussions broke out amongst the gathered knights and sages instantly, some pondering if they'd have to fight their princess. It just seemed so wrong. Link finally wrote out what was on his heart.
'She felt like no one believed in her or had her back except Prince Damon...Is it any wonder she switched sides?'
Things quieted down for a few seconds before a verbal fight broke out between everyone about how they always did their best to treat Bunny with respect, that clearly some folks didn't do it as well, that sort of thing.
'How many times was she told 'no, you're not strong enough?' Or 'No, don't do that.' Or 'No, you can't be with him.' Link added on to his note. 'It's no wonder she failed. No one had any trust in her as the leader and hero.'
"An' ya think yer not in th' same boat as us?" Delilah was the only one to be that bold with the king. "Yer a good dad Link, but even th' best'a parents slip up. Don't go thinkin' yer better than us just 'cuz yer th' old hero an' king, ya got flaws like th' rest'a us."
'I tried to keep supporting her but Zelda forbade it. My hands were tied. I was more than willing to help her succeed but by then it was too late.' Link wished he could properly express his anger at her comment.
And so the adults continued to argue…
Meanwhile with the younger sages, Lonán was trying to figure out a slider puzzle to get the key for the last chamber. "Anyone have any suggestions? I'm running out of ideas myself."
"Maybe try this?" And Ravi once again saved the day.
They entered the final chamber, and were relieved to find no boss, just the Medallion and the way out.
"How lackluster," Ravi sighed.
"I don't like the looks of this, not one bit…" Adara was on guard.
"Proceed with caution," Lonán instructed the group as he walked towards it, Neja and Adara keeping pace with him.
Amazingly there was no trap, the difficult puzzle having been it.
"I suppose it makes sense, you're more of a peacekeeper than a fighter…" Neja still kept her eyes peeled just in case.
Lonán nodded and claimed the medallion, finding that he now possessed a rod similar to Hilda's, but was gold with a sparkling citrine gemstone at the top. "Huh, seems you were right Hilly."
"Try it out!" Hilda excitedly used her weapon to make it dark.
Lonán managed to stop the darkness before it fully settled. "Good, good. Hopefully it can do more than fix any accidental Rod of Shadows swipes."
"...Can I have that when you're done…" Hilda had a scheming tone.
"No," Lonán shook his head, "Sage-related equipment is not, and should never be, for sale."
"...Fine. Let's just continue. Boss fight soon," So the group left, and soon discovered the chaos going on, along with rumors of the princess joining Ganon spreading.
"What in the…?" Lonán had to put up a shield when some stray arrows nearly hit the group. "Maybe we should have 'kidnapped' Bunny…"
"Found Mom." Adara pointed to a large plateau that had fire coming from it. "We should probably get Hestia to help at this point too, yeah? If nothin' else, to make sure Mom can get some recovery time from all the fire blastin'."
Some melodic sounds and blue and red flames rushing through the monsters signified that Hestia had already joined, her and Aiden calmly burning all the monsters to ashes, looking serene amongst the chaos.
"Sis! Dad!" Adara ran over and joined them in the beautiful pyrotechnical attack.
"...Why do you like her again?" Lonán questioned Ravi, mostly for his cousin's sanity.
"She's hot?"
"Literally," Hilda saw the flames she was causing. "Now let's get started fighting too."
Lonán tried not to groan at Ravi's reasoning and then joined in, finding out that his rod was capable of stunning monsters due to its dazzling brightness and even killed some of the weaker things like keese. He and Neja tag teamed for this.
Meanwhile, Bunny awoke to find herself in the same lair as before, resting on a bed. She looked around for Ganon, wanting to know what he had planned for her now that she was on his side.
"Now that no annoying vais will show up…" Ganon emerged from the shadows like the overdramatic ham he is, "let us resume our previous activity."
Bunny nodded submissively, pondering if he recalled when it appeared to begin with.
Ganon took her wrist and worked on drawing it out once again, managing to get it to where he had it before Raja hit him. "Yes...yes...faster!"
While the mark was glowing, it seemed the stubborn triforce piece remained hidden, Bunny's look of confusion showing that she wasn't the cause of this. It was obvious her fear was keeping it hidden.
"Imputent welp!" Ganon tossed her onto the bed in his anger, "Fix this now or I'll blast you until only the Triforce remains!"
Bunny just shook her head 'I don't know how. The first time it appeared was when Damon was forcefully bedding me…' She went slow so that he could read her lips easier. 'I needed it's strength to get through it…' Bunny had a gut feeling the triforce needed to be reassembled, to be whole.
Ganon still took a moment to process her explanation, but once it finally hit him he was quick to tear her nightgown into pieces and work on getting his pants lowered enough to do the deed. Bunny's mind froze up a bit as the overwhelming pain hit her, but the triforce rescinded to help her get through this, finally making its appearance as she willed herself to relax. She was just thankful she was so used to Damon already, knowing how much worse it could hurt. I'm sorry Damon...I had to get the triforce to appear...She apologized mentally as she forcefully climaxed due to the amount of stimulation, even though it was apparent Ganon wasn't even trying. He kept at it, getting off on feeling her body shake from either pain or pleasure, smirking evilly at how her body responded to his, climaxing when she started to again, groaning just slightly as he filled her up. Bunny remained just a bit dazed, slightly drugged by the hormones racing through her system.
"Where is it?" Ganon seethed at a lack of a large, golden triangle not coming out of her.
Bunny weakly showed her hand, the triforce piece appearing, finally. At least it seemed so.
Ganon tried to grasp at it but seemed unable to. "What is this!? Why will it not combine with the ones I've collected!?"
She shrugged weakly, doing her best to stay strong and awake. It wasn't her fault it didn't want to leave. She had an idea and placed her hand with the triforce over his, the pieces finally combining. And either this goes good or I die horribly.
"Of course…" Ganon finally got it, "it's only when you submit your loyalty to me that it finally came out! Then I must make sure that you cannot be swayed..." he used his amplified magic to keep her under his control, keeping her in a sweet dream of being with Damon with no judgement or worries.
Bunny seemed to relax as the mind control took effect, snuggling close with who she thought was Damon. It was obvious all her loyalty was had.
"Then Hyrule is mine for the taking!" Ganon cackled as he used his newly assembled Triforce to give his armies a power boost, even summoning stronger and bigger ones. His wish would come for when all who oppose him are dead to avoid anyone deciding to pull off any last-minute heroics. For now he let his warrior princess snuggle him, feeling like he had the ultimate victory in stealing both the hero and princess in one, knowing it'd weaken the moral of his opponents. For now he'd enjoy her willing body, having forgotten how good a woman's body could feel.
