Ch 21

Conflicted

Another day goes by as it was another mission for team 7 as they had to leave the village this one as they were to meet outside the gate as each member goes home to get prepared now. Suki was in her room as she was trying to think of everything, she has so she doesn't forget something. "Let's see I got some chakra pills, fully stocked first aid kit, my weapons, seeds and….uhh what else I need?"
I thinks a bit as I looks around my room as my eyes land on the dairy I been using on writing down what's to happen. For a while I haven't looked at it or event wrote stuff either as I been having a lot of fun recently and didn't think it would be needed to write down as I smiles at the picture one my desk of team 7. I goes back to packing as due to having so much fun I failed to remember a big thing coming up. But I be too late to change it.

Once packed I heads for the gate now as once, I get their I only sees Sasuke their as I walk to him smiling. " Hey Sasuke, you all set for our mission?" he turns looking at me and nods. Sasuke " Hi there Suki, yea I'm all good." I nods and keeps smiling happy to hear that as soon enough Naruto shows up as I turns waving at him as Sasuke was sending glares Naruto way secretly as me and him chat.
As normal Kakashi was late not surprising no one as we now heads off now. For our mission we head to head to the outskirts of the land of fire to a small village who was dealing with many different problems and have not been able to sort it out. Getting their will take us a whole day if we are lucky as Kakashi tells us to be on guard as we walk their now. For the walk mostly me and Naruto talk a bit as Sasuke and Kakashi walks in front of us.

Now a couple of hours pass by s we did a fair bit of walking and traveling as Kakashi lets us stop by a river now to rest up and get more water. I volunteer to fill all our water containers as I takes them all as I knees beside the river filling them all. Naruto to offered to catch some fish which ended up with him going into the water to catch fish by hand. Sasuke worked on getting a fire going as Kakashi sat in the shade reading his book.
By some miracle Naruto was able to get a fish for all of us as we puts them on sticks and cooks them by the fire. After that we all get to eating. Still when us three try to watch Kakashi eat something distracts for a spilt second and the item we look back he finished. We sighed as once we all finished, we set off again. After traveling a couple more hours we finally makes it to the village as it was getting dark out now.

Kakashi finds a Inn for us to stay in to rest while were here as we start our mission first thing in the morning. We go to our room as Kakashi got his own as we three shares one. We climb into our beds as we all say our goodnights slowly falling asleep. However, I end up walking up in the middle of the night needing to use the bathroom. I quietly gets up putting my rob on and goes out the room.
I heads down the hall to where the bathrooms are now, but just before I get their I hears some noises outside a window I'm passing. I stops and turns looking out the window as I do not see a thing. I shrug thinking I am hearing this now. Once I am finished, I exit the bathroom walking back I now hear a small thud coming from outside the same window. This time I'm on guard as I slowly opens the window and glances out.

But what I found surprised me. It was a black crow, and from the looks of it. It looked like one of its wings was damaged. I opens the window more as I crawls out moving slowly."ssshhh its ok I'm a friend let me help you." I try to calm the crow down as it just stares at me. Thankfully, it lets me check its wing without pecking me." Mmhmh looks like your wing is damaged but not broken."
I raises a hand over its wing as I uses med ninjutsu on it as my hand glows now. Just after a few moments the crow was able to flap its wing with no pain at all. I smiles as it starts to fly around me with easy as I slowly crawls back inside now. "I'm glad you're doing ok now mister crow please take care. "smiles as I shut the window and goes back to bed. Unknown to me that was no normal crow, as its eyes change to a familiar red ones.

Soon morning comes as we all gets up and gets ready now as we get told that the village has been suffering from some bad flooding. As well as animals from the forest attacking and eating up all their crops as they have been struggling with food. We nod as we first start with helping repair the damages the village as sustained. Kakashi and Naruto gets to work on rebuilding as me and Sasuke were to help with flood control.
We have some villagers helping us out as we start with widening the river and making walls along the banks where its most likely going to flood. Once we get this sorted, we go on to make river barriers to try and slow the flow of the river. Once we get all this sorted me and Sasuke heads into the forest now." When they mentioned animals eating their food, it could mean there's not enough food here."

Sasuke" what could be causing it? This forest looks fine to me." I put my hand on one of the trees and focus." Yea your right, this and a lot of the other tree are health and don't seem damaged." We walk more as we hear some noise from above as the same crow from last night flies down landing on my shoulder." oh it's you, hello their mister crow." I smiles petting him gently.
The crow caws as I pets it as Sasuke looks at it weirdly. Sasuke" how did you met this crow Suki?" I look at you." oh last night after the bathroom I saw it hurt outside a window and healed it."I keeps smiling petting it as it looks very happy. Sasuke." I really hate this crow so much now…tsk." Sasuke glares at the crow and walks ahead now. Sasuke" come on we have our mission to do Suki."

I look at you and nods following as we go further into the forest. The crow sticks around as we end up finding a very large cave as a giant Gorilla comes out. It looked tough and very stronger as it looked much bigger than a normal gorilla. We quickly hide as it was looking around as he starts to roar out beating on its chest. Suddenly a lot of other forest animals starts putting bits of their food in front of the Gorilla.
"it looks like the gorilla orders all for forest creatures to get him food, no wonder they were taking the villagers crops. Poor things" looks at the animals worried as some looked very weak and hungry. Sasuke glares as he charges out at the Gorilla. Sasuke" hey you big ugly one. Its time you find a new home." He throws kunai's with explosion tags as they make contact on the gorilla arm as it roars out making all the other animals run.

Sasuke smirks thinking his got it but form the smoke the gorilla rushes at Sasuke looking very angry as Sasuke barely dodges it. Sasuke" hn, so you really are tough." he does some hand signs as he focusses chakra into his hand as lighting starts to form. Sasuke"Chidori!" he charges at the gorilla making contact with its chest as it roars out in pain as this causes a lot of noises alerting Kakashi and Naruto.
Sasuke smirks thinking his got it as the gorilla got sent back hard into a tree. Sasuke"hn, that cares of that, lets tie it up Suki."he turns around to me as just as I was a bit to use my vines I gasp. " Sasuke look out!" I see the gorilla get up again as with Sasuke back turn to it it hits him hard in the backsaws yells out in pain as he hits a tree hard coughing up some blood as well and passes out.

I looks at it shocked as I runs to Sasuke side." No Sasuke!" I get to him looking at him worried. But with my attention on Sasuke the gorilla was about to attack us but got stopped. Naruto" Rasengan!" out came Naruto with a Rasengan in hand as he slams it into the gorilla as it sends it flying spinning into the air far away now. Kakashi shows up too as they both goes to us.
Thankfully due to the Gorilla gone the animals are not going to be stealing food form the village anymore now. I was able to patch Sasuke up but he ended up breaking and bruising some of his ribs and other injures he got too. For now he cant walk as we were about to lay him in a carriage so he won't be moving much as I transform into my full beast mode with Aideen to pull the carriage.

As the village thanks us as we starts to head off as Naruto sits in the front and Kakashi stay in the back with Sasuke who is resting now. I never was able to say goodbye with the crow I healed as it vanished during the fight with the gorilla. But as we start to leave the village the same crow watches us from a tree now with the same red eyes. At a unknown place a man was standing alone at a lake.
He opens his sharigan eyes looking out to the water.?" Suki is still as kind as ever…seems Sasuke has a long way to defeat me…" he snaps his fingers as the crow vanishes into thin air now. Kisame" Itachi your spacing out, come we have a new task now. " Itachi nods as he turns to walk off with Kisame as he was using the herbs, I gave him as his eyesight improved greatly. Also using the seeds from the herbs I gave he was able to grow new ones.

Thankfully due to me bringing us back by carriage we got their a lot faster as I don't stop until were outside the hospital when I turn back to normal. I take some deep breaths as Naruto goes and helps get the ropes off me as Kakashi went in to get some nurses as they get a stretcher for Sasuke and takes him inside the hospital now. Kakashi" don't worry Sasuke in good hands now, you all did great work ,go home and rest ill report this have to lady Tsunade."
Like that Kakashi poofs away now. Naruto helps me back to my place as I thanks him as I heads inside and goes right to my room to rest myself as Naruto went and did the same too. Sasuke ended up staying in the hospital for a few days now as I went and visited him each today as I started to notice he barely spoke at all and just stared off into space. It was a sunny day when I knock on his door opening it.

"hey Sasuke how you been I got some fruit for you. "I hold up a bag of fruit smiling at him. But he does not reply just sits on his bed looking down. I sighs at it and walk in closing the door behind me as I takes a seat and starts to use a knife to peel a apple." So… you wanna tell me what's up with you?" I looks down at the apple while talking to him but I still get no response.
" I asked the nurses taking care of you and they know you're eating and drinking normal, but have noticed you don't talk, but nothing wrong with your throat to cause this Sasuke. So, come on tell me." I glances at him to see if I get any kind of reaction from him but no still nothing at all. I sighs as I cuts up the apple putting it beside his bed on the stand as I gets up and walks over to the window looking outside.

" the village is doing a lot better, there really grateful for the work we all did together. I thought you like to hear that." I glance at him as he still has not moved or spoke. I sighs as I walks over to the vase as I takes out a seed and focus chakra as I make a yellow rose and puts it in." yellow rose means get well soon, Ino taught me what different colour roses mean. Were getting along so well."
I smile a bit but still nothing from Sasuke." ….say….did I do something to upset you Sasuke? Is that why your being so quiet, or was it someone else? You can tell me ill listen to you…you're not alone Sasuke please remember that." I places a hand on his shoulder as he flinched a bit at the contact as he was about to turn to look at me when the door opens and someone walks in.

Naruto " hey there you guys, sorry I'm late I got some snacks for us all. "he walks in with a big bag as I pull my hand away and walks over to Naruto smiling." well is not that sweet of you Naruto hope you got different stuff we might like. Not just what you like." He laughs a bit rubbing the back of his heads as he goes over opening the bag up at the end of the bed pulling out a soda can handing it to Sasuke to take.
Naruto" you can pick first Sasuke, if you don't like this one I got a few other flavours too." Grins looking at him as Sasuke looks up as the soda and suddenly glares as he slaps the can out of Naruto hand as it falls on the floor as Sasuke got up out of bed with resulted in knocking the bag and everything on the floor too. He even knocked over the sliced apples I did for him.

Naruto" hey what was that for, if you didn't like it you could of said so, now you made a mess what's your problem?!" he glares back at Sasuke. I look at them both shocked by this. Sasuke" …Naruto… I want to fight you right now..." he looks at him coldly glaring. Naruto was a bit taken back not understanding by, but the look in Sasuke face said he wouldn't take no for an answer. Naruto" ok then fine let's do it."
Sasuke nods as they both start to leave the room heading for the roof as I stand, they're in shock. "why does this seem so familiar…. wait…oh no their fight. But after it means…Sasuke leaves..." I gasps realizes I failed to remember this as I quickly runs to go follow them up to the roof. " no this can't happen…I never wanted these two to fight…I thought they were becoming friends now…did I misread something?"

But once I got their it had already begun. The pair were fighting with each other not throwing any punches at all as they were both going all out too. I gaps seeing them fight as it was a lot more intense then I ever thought it could be." Stop…both of ye stop fighting!"I starts running to stop them but my timing was bad. Now they were already charging up the Rasengan and Chidori as they went for each other and neither could stop.
Just when I thought I was going to get hit by them. Kakashi came and throw both away from each other now. Both hits a water tank as at first it looked like Sasuke's did more damage but in fact Naruto's one did form the other side which shocked Sasuke a lot. Kakashi didn't bother lecturing them as he looked at Sasuke serious as Sasuke flinched and glances at me as I was looking down shaking slightly from fear.

Seeing all this Sasuke took off now as Kakashi sighs as he pats my head gently. Kakashi" you did a very brave thing their Suki. I'm sorry I didn't come sooner so you wouldn't be so scared." I takes a deep breath trying to slowly calm down as I glances at Kakashi "..please..try talking to him….he needs help Kakashi." He looks back at me seeing the worry in my eyes as he nods as he vanishes too.
Naruto was very sorry to scare me but I smiles and pats his back saying ill be fine s we heads off now. But the worry was still there." If I remember Kakashi talks with Sasuke, and then the sound four shows up…then..." I shakes my head refusing to let that happen like that as I tries to feel confident in Sasuke hoping he make the right choice and I have to be positive as I know either way ill have to give it my all.

Oh that was not so nice,things are getting intense and poor Suki is blaming herself for not seeing the signs. But then again shes not really aware of her many admirers so cant be too hard on her right ^^ any who ill get to working on the next ch, till then take care and bye bye ^^
