Draco thought dress robes were awful, but Harry stuffs him into a suit, and he has never been so uncomfortable in his life.
"Can I please just wear dress robes?" Draco asks. His tone is maybe edging on whining, but he doesn't care. He feels stuffy and uncomfortable, and his shoulders can barely move. Muggle clothes suck.
"Nope," Harry says, grinning as he ties Draco's necktie. He tightens it, and Draco lets out a little choking noise. Now he's just being dramatic. It's honestly not that tight, but Draco doesn't want to wear these Muggle clothes at all. "I can't believe you've never learned how to tie a necktie," he notes, straightening up to take in Draco's full outfit. "You in the upper class and everything." Draco frowns.
"I've never had to when I wear dress robes," he says, scowling at his husband. He loves Harry, but Harry's the most insufferable person he's ever met.
"Sorry, babe," he says, trying to pat Draco's hair before Draco moves out of the way quickly. "But no one knows either of us are magic, and it's going to stay that way."
Draco pouts and tries to cross his arms. He discovers that his arms don't allow for that movement. He loves Harry, he really does, and he understands wanting to get away from the Wizarding World after years of being in the limelight due to the war and everything, but becoming a Muggle teacher is probably Harry's worst decision.
Actually, Draco thinks, it's not too bad — Harry looks amazing in his suit, and he's glad that Harry loves what he's doing. He just doesn't understand why he has to be dragged along for Harry's boss's wedding.
He definitely doesn't understand why he has to wear a Muggle suit to it. Besides for, of course, the fact that everyone there except for the two of them are Muggles.
"Come on," Harry says, pulling Draco up by his hand. "You look cute."
Draco's pout can't help but morph into a smile when Harry puts a small kiss to his lips. It's only for one night; he'll be fine.
Lips still on Draco's, Harry whispers, "You ready to be a Muggle?"
Draco nods in response, trying to ignore the stiffness of his jacket.
