(Note from writer: I know I already posted a chapter, but I just can't wait to show you guys this. Enjoy!)
"Really? My brother? A sword fighter!?" Mabel said. "Well, yeah, I want to learn how to protect myself. I was doing pretty good when we were fighting those living wax figures." Dipper said. "And those Golf people." Mabel added. "If you are up to it, I think Pearl could teach you." Connie said. Pearl looked at the 13 year old. "Are you sure? Sword fighting takes dedication and risk." Pearl reminded Dipper. Dipper flashed back to Weirdmaggedon. He felt so hopeless without the journals. But, he might be able to fight for himself and others. "Yes. I am sure." Dipper said.
"Ok! Good thing the Sky Arena is still available." Pearl said. Steven was surprised. He never thought Dipper would be able to do that. He shrugged. I guess he was wrong. "I think me and Garnet have to stay here. We have classes to go to." Amethyst said. "Bye Garnet and Amethyst!" Steven said. "Bye!" Mabel said. "Bye guys!" Garnet said. "Peace! Don't forget to visit again!" Amethyst said. "I liked them." Mabel said. They head to the nearest warp pad to go to the Sky Arena. The warp pad lights up and they disappear.
They appear at the arena. "Woah, still not used to that." Dipper said. Dipper looks around. "Wow, it looks amazing." Dipper said. "The first battles for Earth took place here." Pearl said. They walked to the middle of the arena. Connie and Steven sat down on the benches. Pearl hands Dipper a sword. "First, bow to me, your teacher." Pearl says. Dipper bows to Pearl. Mabel laughs under her breath. "Now bow to your liege." Pearl says. "I guess that would be Mabel."
Dipper said. They both bow to each other. "Sir Dip-Dip." Mabel said. "Come on Mabel, this is serious." Dipper says, trying to hold back laughter. "Thank you Dipper." Pearl says. As Mabel runs back to sit with Connie and Steven, Pearl summons a hologram Pearl. "Cool!" Dipper says.
"This is going to be your starter opponent." Pearl said. "Do you wish to engage in combat?" the Holo Pearl asked. "Er-yes!" Dipper said. As Dipper blocked Holo Pearl's attacks, the real Pearl shouted, "Remember, keep your eye's on your opponent!" "Yes ma'am!" Dipper said, doing what his instructor told him. "Woo! Go Dipper!" Mabel shouted. "You got this!" Connie shouted. He appreciated the support. He finally hit the Holo Pearl and it disappeared. "Good job Dipper." Pearl said, smiling at him. "Thank you." Dipper said. Steven looked at his phone watch. "Pearl! He can do a few more rounds before we leave!" Steven shouted. Pearl gave him a thumbs up.
Dipper was actually pretty good at sword fighting. He felt so confident while doing it. "Hey Dipper! We have to go!" Mabel said. Dipper nodded. "You did great today." Pearl said. "Thank you Pearl." Dipper said. Pearl asked Steven, "Do you know what time he is able to come over?" "Well, Grunkle Stan doesn't really notice us on Saturdays and Sundays. So, that would be a good time." Mabel said. "Great! See you then Dipper!" Pearl said as they walked out. Dipper waved goodbye to his teacher. "You did great out there bro-bro!" Mabel said. "Yeah, that was really good." Steven said. "I guess I won't be the only sword fighter around here." Connie said, smiling at Dipper. He started to blush. Was he starting to develop a thing for Connie? "Alright, we have to go back to Gravity Falls." Steven said to Connie. "I'll visit you guys soon." Connie said as she hopped on Lion. "Bye Connie, bye Lion!" Mabel said. "Bye Connie!" Steven said. Dipper waved goodbye. As they got on the warp pad to go back home, Dipper said, "Goodbye Beach City."
They disappeared.
