Hi Readers!

Okay I want to start off by saying thank you to anyone who reviewed these last 3 chapters because I am finally able to read them again! Yayy! I was so shocked this morning when I clicked on reviews and it showed them!

So today's chapter is part 2 of the winter dance! It's going to start during the time that the boys are getting ready because I want to include another flashback.

So I hope you enjoy today's chapter!

The boys were ready for the dance. Well except from Leo who somehow managed to put his shirt on as trousers and his trousers on as his shirt…..

Jason had texted Piper to tell the girls about the delay which should've been expected by now since it happens every year.

Percy was fidgeting with excitement to go. Ever since Annabeth had accepted to go to the dance with him he couldn't stop thinking about it. He was brought out of his thoughts when Nico started talking to him.

"Someone's excited. I'm guessing you asked her."

Percy didn't answer but his growing blush did.

His friends started howling with laughter.

"Look at his face!" Connor said with glee.

More laughter.

He threw a pillow at Connor's face.

"Oh it's on!" Connor yelled.

For the next few minutes they were in the middle of a pillow fight before Jason walked in with Leo and reminded them that they'd be dead meat if they didn't show up soon.

They all piled into 3 separate taxi's because there were 10 of them.

During the ride to the school Percy drifted back into his thoughts thinking about what had happened that day at the skate park.

Flashback*

Percy and Rachel were partners at the skate park. Percy was trying to master a flip. He finally managed to do it when he realised Rachel wasn't where she had been earlier at the top of the slope they were using. Instead she was stood behind Annabeth who looked like she was about to skate down. Rachel shoved Annabeth from behind and Annabeth screamed as she hurtled down the ramp at full speed without any balance or any way to stop. He had just began running towards her as she hit her head and shut her eyes.

"Annabeth!" Thalia yelled running over.

The rest of their friends sprinted to where the pair were stood over their blonde friend.

"What just happened?" Reyna demanded.

Percy and Thalia turned to face Rachel causing their friends to do the same.

"Guys I swear it was an accident! I didn't mean to push her off." She said eyes wide in mock apology.

"Oh so walking over from your ramp and climbing up behind Annabeth before practically shoving her off is an accident is it?" Thalia retorted being held back by Frank and Jason.

"Wait one moment," Leo said. "You PUSHED her off? That's messed up! What the hell were you thinking?!"

They all agreed angrily.

"Guys! I swear I-" She began but none of them were listening. Fake crying she turned to Percy who was kneeling alongside Thalia and Piper next to Annabeth trying to get her up. "Percy! Ple-"

" I don't want to hear it! Save it for the authorities! I can't believe you pushed her! Are you crazy? " He glared at her.

Will interrupted. "She isn't waking up. I think she's in concussion. We really need to get her to the hospital."

Piper gasped. "Is that blood?"

There was a dripping red line of blood against Annabeth's forehead.

"Oh my Gods." Silena and Katie whispered at the same time.

"Someone call the paramedics!" One of the friends yelled though it was impossible to tell who it was since after that things turned to chaos.

When an ambulance arrived Percy and Thalia both travelled with Annabeth each holding one of her hands while their friends followed in taxis.

"That bitch better be sent to Juvie." Thalia muttered under her breath.

Flashback end*

They had arrived at the school. Percy paid the driver before filing out with Connor, Travis and Grover who had all taken the taxi with him.

"Okay can we go in now because I don't think Percy will last another moment otherwise." Grover asked.

The ten other than Percy sniggered before walking into the school and taking the familiar route to the gym.

"It looks like a blue and silver unicorn threw up on this place." Leo whispered earning a glare from Beckendorf since it was his girlfriend who had been in charge of the decor. "In a good way." He added.

They walked in spotting the girls sat at a table and talking.

Percy saw Annabeth and that was when it started.

Butterflies. In his stomach.

'Calm down!' He scolded himself quietly.

She looked beautiful in her turquoise dress, with her hair pinned up and barely any makeup on which she clearly didn't need since she looked good enough without it. He blushed realising what he had just thought.

Annabeth turned around and their eyes met.

Grey on green.

Annabeth smiled at him.

Nico hit his head.

"Stop gawking at your girlfriend and wake up so we can go to the table."

"She's not my girlfriend she's just my date." Percy insisted.

"We'll see." Nico muttered under his breath.

"What did you say?" Percy asked.

"What are you talking about?" Nico said trying to look confused.

Percy narrowed his eyes at him before turning away. "Never mind."

They finally walked over to the table, Percy sitting beside Annabeth and Nico beside Will.

Percy had no idea what to say to Annabeth. "Um. You look…" He began but he couldn't finish because he suddenly felt shy.

"You look nice too Perce." She said looking down and blushing.

"So do you want to dance?" He asked her seeing that their friends were doing so.

She nodded.

He stood up and grabbed her hand pulling her up with him. They walked to the dance floor and stood in the same position as when they danced that time in the library. They started dancing slowly.

"You really do look nice Annabeth." Percy said blushing.

"Thanks. You do too." She replied looking down.

When she finally looked up she saw Percy staring at her causing her to start blushing too. They both turned their heads away.

This was a huge mistake though because when Annabeth turned her head away she saw Rachel dancing with a familiar blonde male with blue eyes and a scar across his face. He was looking directly at her with a scowl.

Annabeth's eyes widened in shock and horror. What was he doing here? And with Rachel too?

She let go of Percy's hand and moved his other one from her waist. "Excuse me for a moment please." She whispered before grabbing Thalia and running out of the building and didn't stop until she reached a small park that was nearby.

They both panted. "What was that for? I was enjoying watching you and Perce blush every time you looked at each other."

Annabeth smiled at that but then shook her head.

"He was there." She said to Thalia.

"Who Percy? Yeah I know. You were dancing with him."

"No! Luke." She said with a serious tone.

"What but he-" she was cut off by Annabeth

"He was dancing with Rachel."

"Oh that-" Thalia groaned in frustration. "I bet her daddy paid for her way out of Juvie. And with Luke? How does she even know him?"

"I don't know. They might have met recently for anything. He can be charming if he wants to."

That was when Percy ran up to them.

"Annabeth are you okay? You looked really upset when you ran out. Did I do something or?.."

"N-no you didn't I-"

"She felt sick." Thalia said quickly.

"So you ran out to the park?" Percy asked blinking.

Annabeth didn't say anything.

"You can tell me the truth Annabeth you know that right?" He tried again.

"I-" She began but Thalia sensing her discomfort intervened.

"The others will be wondering where we went. We should head back."

She grabbed Annabeth's arm and began walking in the direction of the school. Percy had no choice but to follow.

They walked in through the gates but all of a sudden Annabeth stopped moving completely. She just stood and stared.

"What is it?" Percy asked.

There stood Luke in front of them.

Dun dun dunnnnnn.

I have brought out another cliff hanger! I need to think of my signature evil laugh now for whenever I do this.
