Ruby is a upper class citizen, living a privileged life due to her family status as powerful hunters. They both go through their own trials as they find comfort in each other. 18. A Night With You

Author's Note: Sorry it took over a year to get up the next chapter. I was working on chapter 19...and I kept waiting and waiting for my beta reader. It started out months and I was like screw this. I am editing it myself. It's ridiculous I had to wait this long to begin with. I got no responds when messaging her too.

General Taiyang sat in his chair while looking over documents that needed to be signed for the military. He's been waiting to talk to his daughter after two weeks. He's been too busy with his job as the general due to his traveling. Taiyang regretted it. Even though he knew these were sacrifices that had to be made. He didn't really get too much time to see Ruby. Taiyang had called her down because this was urgent but this was something that this was something he was particularly clear on. Taiyang tapped the back of his pen to the wooden boards as he waited patiently. Being a teenager she would be angry at him for keeping her there but he knew Ruby would understand when she was older. That this arranged marriage was the best situation for her. It would preserve her future in case everything happened to him but it was at the cost of her happiness. In reality, it was what he didn't want to happen.

This was something that must be discussed.

The phone rang as it startled him and interrupted his thoughts. It was more like Taiyang saw a ghost before he placed a hand to his forehead. Believing it could be an urgent military call, so he couldn't ignore it. Even if it would be a few minutes before Ruby would be coming down to talk with him. He grabbed the phone as he placed it to his ear before letting out a "hello, this is General Taiyang-" before hearing a familiar voice at the end of the receiver.

"General, do you remember what we discussed about your daughter, Ruby?" Aya voiced echoed on the other end. Taiyang sighed. The two of them had gotten together and had a meeting over the marriage of their children. It was really something he didn't even want to discuss at this impending time. This was news, he had been attempting to put off because of the added pressure it would put on Ruby. She was still a teenager that needed her space. Taiyang knew how to talk to his daughter but didn't know how to give her the news. Aya had continued to speak. "I assumed you haven't told her the outstanding news yet."

There was a knock on the door before Ruby poked her head in, Taiyang had made the gesture with his fingers for her to come in. She was in a simple red dress with black lace on the bottom that went above the knees. Her hair was tied back in rose designed barrettes with matching shoes that sparkled on the heels. "Speaking of the matter. I will be discussing it at this current moment. So there's no need to worry. I will talk to you soon. Goodbye." Taiyang hung off the phone before glancing over at his daughters. He could see the worriedness on her face before taking a sit across from him in his office.

"You wanted to talk to me, dad." Ruby addressed while she acted proper from her training while putting her hands on her lap. She tried to hide her nervousness in this situation since Ruby had been called into his office. This was something that was usually a big deal. Maybe it's just to spend some time alone together because he has been busy. The good news it gave her time to sneak out to see Jaune, the one place she had found true happiness. Even being apart from him for the past week had been painful for her because she had been busy with tasks in the upper class. Plus with her father being around the mansion, it made it impossible for her to sneak out.

"Yes, there's something important news that needs to be addressed. It's about your upcoming wedding to Kai Li. I have been discussing the matter with his mother, Aya Li for the past month. We finally come to a conclusion on what we think is the best for both of you." Taiyang answered while putting his hand to his chin but in his mind he was trying to think of how to break the news to her. Ruby could only hope her father was going to end the marriage because he knew how unhappy it made her. "We have decided to move up your wedding to Kai. So it will be in three months rather than six. Aya's already getting everything prepared for it."

"What? Moving up the wedding." Ruby held back her tears because she didn't want to make a scene in front of her father. This didn't mean she couldn't hold back her emotions on the matter. She clutched her hands into fists before Ruby stood up in anger. "Father, how could you even agree to this. I am not ready to get married yet. Three months in just too soon. This is just unfair to even discuss any of this without the two of us. You didn't even bother to address what even thought on the matter."

"I am sorry Ruby. With you disappearing all the time. You need to take more responsibility. Becoming a wife is really the best way to make you understand. Not everything is about fun. You don't take life too seriously. There's also the matter how you will eventually be a mother once you're married." Taiyang told his younger daughter in the form of discipline. He had to brush off on the regret he was feeling over the agreement. As a parent, he knew this was the best way for this to be handled. "This is just the way it has to be."

"NO! I don't want any of this." Ruby backed away but it was all she managed to leave the office. Tears streamed down her face while she ran up the stairs to her room. Not paying attention to the servants that were calling out to her out of concern. The emotions she was feeling were too much for her that Ruby just wanted to be left alone. Even talking to Blake about all this was only going to make things worse. She had laid on the bed while grabbing her pillow before crying into it.

Her thoughts gathered to the one person she wanted to be with - Jaune. Ruby glanced over at the clock to see it was 9:55 p.m. She sat up to quickly wipe away her tears because a part of her knew that she had to be strong. Ruby wanted to be around someone that was familiar to her that would talk about her impending marriage. It couldn't be Blake since she would just tell her to move on and accept it. To break up with Jaune, but she didn't want to do any such thing since Ruby was in love with him. Everything her boyfriend said or did had given her so much comfort. It allowed her to move on with the rest of her life in the misery that was the upper class.

Ruby didn't bother changing out of her nightgown as she slipped on her black cloak and slipped on her shoes. Putting the hood over her head before sneaking out of the balcony door. Only bringing Crescent Rose with her in case she needed protection as she activated the illusion dust to sneak passed. She didn't bother leaving a note because Ruby couldn't risk her father or anyone else finding it. Of course she locked the door into her room and stuffed pillows under her bed sheets as extra measures.

It took fifteen minutes before she made it to Jaune, Nora and Ren's house. She had a key so it would be easy to go in but Ruby didn't want to wake up her friends. Ruby climbed up to Jaune's room before she slowly opened the window and sneaked in. She gently closed the window after climbing through it. Ruby had a bit of trouble seeing since it was rather dark. Slowly tiptoeing over to Jaune's bed as she smiled over seeing his sleeping face. Ruby unclipped her cloak as it dropped to the floor before snuggling up against him on the bed. She leaned in to press her lips against his which Jaune subconsciously returned. While pulling away, he opened his eyes before seeing his girlfriend beside him to his surprise. "Ruby? Sweetie, what are you doing here?" Jaune questioned before sitting up as he put on the light switch. "Not that I am not happy to see you. It's just you're here without telling me anything and-"

"It doesn't matter. Just make love to me right now." Ruby interrupted as she had started to place kisses all over his face. The only thought was showing her love for him because what scared her was it could be the last time they saw each other. "I've been wanting this for a long time. I just can't wait any longer to be with you . . . completely." Ruby confessed while her face reddened while she continued to kiss Jaune. Ruby just wanted to forget everything in the upper class. Longing to give herself to the man she loved before it was too late. Ruby didn't want to lose her virginity to her soon to be husband but to her only man she truly loved Jaune. She knew it was something that seemed out of nowhere but Ruby distracting herself in pleasure in the arms of her boyfriend.

"Huh?" Jaune had a look of bewilderment on his face. He didn't understand why Ruby was even acting this way. Let alone forcing herself onto him, yes, most men would be thrilled with the idea of their girlfriends wanting to have sex with them. However Jaune cared for Ruby too much to just go along with it and take advantage of the situation. He reluctantly moved away from Ruby because Jaune wanted answers. "Lovebud, I don't understand what's going on. It's not that I don't want to do commerce. It's more you're suddenly sneaking into my room in the middle of the night." Ruby had pressed her lips to Jaune's neck, he could feel himself getting more aroused. His member hardened as it started to erect underneath his boxers. "I-I know we agreed to it but I wish you would tell me why."

"That's not romantic enough for you or something. If you have done this to me I would have been swept off my feet." Ruby pouted while crossing her arms. A part of her felt that she didn't need to give an answer. Namely she feared that Jaune want to have sex with her if she explained why.

"Please tell me-" Jaune pleaded as she turned away from him. She didn't want her boyfriend to see her visibly upset.

"My father just told me my wedding to Kai Li has been moved up. So we'll be getting married in three months. I don't want to marry him, Jaune but I am obligated too. How could I when you're the only man I even want to be with. It's the end of August that would mean in late November I would be getting married to him. I wish there was a way I can get out of this." Ruby began to cry while all Jaune could do was wrap his arms around his girlfriend's waist as she wept in his chest. He wore a no sleeve blue tank top and black boxers but it wasn't like Ruby hadn't seen any of this before. Jaune moved his hands up and down her back while pressing a kiss to her temple. He couldn't bear to watch his lover go through this. Even worse is how her father could force this upon her without any warning.

"I wish you can stay here and live with me." Jaune confessed. Holding the woman he loved in his arms as she glanced at him with her silver eyes. He knew it was wishful thinking but Jaune couldn't stand to be separated from his girlfriend. The woman that had been by his side since he lost Pyrrha. It broke his heart as she told him that her wedding was being moved up. Jaune knew it didn't matter to him if she was married because he would want to be with her regardless. He was uncomfortable with being the other man that was forbidden to be with her by upper class standards. "That way we can always be together."

"How do you do it?" Ruby wept as she gripped her boyfriend's shirt. She smelled the aroma of musk, like aftershave and soap. That he must have taken a shower before going to bed. The scent was something that unknowingly aroused her. Plus his comforting words had only made her want him even more. How was she lucky to find some like him?

"Do what?" Jaune asked her while gently combing her hair with his fingers. As they snuggled together, he leaned down to press his lips to hers. He was relieved that she had stopped crying but a few teardrops had fallen onto his shirt. Jaune was puzzled about what Ruby was trying to say to him. "I am not doing anything besides loving you." He chuckled a bit before he pressed his lips against her own.

"That's just it. You always find a way to make me feel better. It doesn't matter what you say or do." Ruby answered between kisses as he had started to roam his hands down her body. "I am just happy to be with you . . . and want you to keep loving me. You would do that right?"

"Yes, I will always Lovebud." Jaune weakly told her while his hand stroked her breasts through her nightgown. Part of the straps had moved off her shoulder which had them more in plan view as they continued to kiss. It was more like it was taunting him to take action. Both of them wanted each other so badly even if it was in the middle of the night. None of that even seem to matter to the both of them because after what seemed like it so long. Jaune and Ruby were finally alone once again in the comfort of each other's arms.

"Jaune can I ask you something?" Ruby asked while Jaune had started to press kisses to her neck. He just groaned while continuing to the pleasure she desired. Jaune didn't seem to pay much attention since he had a beautiful woman in his arms. Someone he hasn't even seen in over a week due to it being so busy in the upper class. He wanted to enjoy every moment he could with his girlfriend. Kissing was a firm way to distract her as moans escaped Ruby's lips that she had lost her train of thought. "I-I want to know if you would still be with me once I get married." Ruby asked her boyfriend with her self doubt and increased insecurity about the situation. Would Jaune still want to be with a woman that was taken or would he leave her for someone that was single? This impending marriage could potentially ruin everything about their relationship if that were the case.

"What do you mean? I want to be with you no matter what." Jaune addressed Ruby as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. Pulling away from her while he touched her check in assurance. He didn't want to be with anyone else even if she was going to be married to another man. People would disapprove of it if they knew but he really didn't care. To the lower class, Ruby was a lower class girl from another town. Jaune could help but feel envious of her fiance who would be able to call his girlfriend his wife. Something he would never be able to say.

"You would really want to be with me. More than anything I want my first time to be with you Jaune Arc. Continue having what's basically an affair because I-" Jaune leaned in to press his lips to his girlfriend before she could finish. Both of them had let out moans and grunts escaped while it grew more passionate that allowed his tongue access into hers. Both of them were trying to gain dominance in their act of passion. "I love you so much." He answered between kisses. The two of them had fallen back onto the bed while her hands roamed up and down his back. She remained on top of him before she fisted his blonde hair with her hand. After a week apart, their desire for each other was being released.

Both of them were nervous since neither of them had sex before. Despite the fact the two of them had attempted in the past. The situation was different since the previous times were more on impulse and this time it was going to be for real. Everything had to go just right since they wanted this night to be special. Ruby's hands roamed under Jaune's shirt while their kissing intensified. Slowly pulling it up as they separated and had thrown onto the floor. Both of them leaned back in as a few more moans and grunts escaped their lips. "Ooooh J-Jaune!" Ruby couldn't control her actions as she reached out to feel his muscular upper body. She marveled his body, it was all the huntsman training that really made everything show. Even though she was too busy pressing her lips to his own. She knew that it was all hers. Jaune didn't want Ruby to have dominance because he wanted to do things right during his first time. He wasn't doing this to finally tell all his friends that he had sex to his girlfriend. Something he failed to do with Pyrrha despite the fact they have known each other since childhood. Jaune thought he would remain alone for the rest of his life since no one was going to replace Ruby. A fact he was glad to be very much wrong about in the first place. However he didn't want to boast about her naked form or how the sex was between them. The curve of her body was perfect as his hands touched her sides with eagerness as they separated. Those were some of the few questions the guys would be asking him that he wouldn't be willing to answer.

Both of them were in heavy breaths as they laid side by side, face to face while staring into each other's eyes. Jaune had taken the bed sheets while placing it over the two of them. Ruby was more occupied with pressing kisses to his neck before slowly moving down to his chest. He let out a few groans of pleasure as he started to feel the cloth of her nightgown. They briefly separated to pull it over her head before it was thrown aside. Their lips met again with more fire as if it were ignited as their bodies pressed against each other. "I love you too." He returned her affection but he thought expressing it was better than words. Jaune was enthusiastic since he was nervous over being a satisfying lover when he was about to have intercourse. He's feeling gradually shifted when his girlfriend calls out his name once again with increasing pleasure. Was what Jaune was really doing that amazing that it could cause this reaction? Jaune saw her in pain from when he entered her and couldn't bear the thought of her in such a way. He wanted to make all that agony to all go away but he didn't know how but to move around and just kiss her. Though Jaune thought it caught her by surprise but Ruby did return the sentiment when he felt his hair being fisted within her hands. She pulled him closer so that everything seemed to go numb from desire. Being with a woman this intimately was something he never thought was possible and it was better than anything he experienced. It was the next morning, Ruby had opened her eyes before she sat up and still felt swore. She placed a hand on her forehead while looking around the room before Ruby remembered being in Jaune's room. It wasn't just a dream, the two of them had sex last night. His arms were still wrapped around her waist while holding onto her naked figure. She smiled at him before playful tossing his blonde hair with his fingers while watching her boyfriend sleep. Ruby thought things would change now that the two of them had finally consummated their relationship. If she was honest with herself, there was no doubt her decision over choice. Was she just like those other girls in the upper class who cheated on their significant others? No, this was different because Jaune and her were in love with them it was more for meaningless pleasure.

Ruby couldn't think that sex could change everything like how it did to so many people she knew. Maybe deep down that's what scared her because that happened to lots of people. Even though they didn't wait, she wondered if it was rushed because Ruby wanted to make love to her boyfriend before getting married to Kai Li. Did part of her feel guilt over keeping all this a secret? Both of them knew that no one important in the upper class could find out about their relationship. It's just Kai had always been kind to her and wanted to be her friend, even if her feelings for him were unrequited.

She shook her head because the way of thinking was wrong because it could mean punishment for both of them or worse death for Jaune. Solely because he was have sexual relations with one of General Taiyang's daughters. Ruby knew that because of her popularity as an icon in the upper class that she couldn't be touched but that didn't extend to her secret lover. She feared too much for Jaune's safety that Ruby wanted to do everything in her power to keep her safe. Why did their love have to be forbidden? In order to prevent it, Jaune would either have to become an upper class citizen and no longer have to marry Kai. A fleet itself Ruby thought would be impossible under the circumstances. There had to be a way for their love to be accepted by the public because she didn't want to hide it.

Not aware that Jaune opened his eyes while he glanced up and down over Ruby's beauty. Everything about her just seemed to be more captivating by her naked figure. The fact they had made love and he could say he's no longer a virgin. There were more radiates around her but it could be more because of what happened between them last night. Jaune wanted to take her again even with the little time they may have had in this morning. Ruby was startled when he came from behind to kiss her neck. "I am so late." She interrupted his declarations of love for him because she should already have been out and about in the upper class. It would be easy for Blake to cover for her but she knew that her bodyguard would be so angry with her. Asking where did she disappear without even telling her. Ruby didn't even know how to explain why her lack of absence in the middle of the night. If she told Blake if she was off to see her soldier boyfriend after being informed her wedding was moved up. Would her friend come to the conclusion that the two of them ended up having sex? Panic had set in before getting out of bed and gathered her nightgown that was on the floor.

Jaune caught himself from the rush of everything with his hand while falling back down onto the bed. He glanced to see his girlfriend in distress before deciding to get up as he put a new pair of boxers and pants on to cover the lower half of his body. Ruby had snapped on her cloak to cover her nightgown before she opened the window. She looked back at her boyfriend before quickly going over to give him another goodbye kiss. It caught him by surprise before he wrapped his arms around her. The two of them had separated before she reluctantly let go of him. "I just want to do that one more time. Namely because I don't know when I will see you again. Let's not say goodbye because I just can't bear it." After all, she wasn't sure when they would be able to see each other again. Her mind had worried and kept drifting to her getting caught coming in late. The fear of something happening that would prevent her from seeing each other. "I have to go . . . " Ruby turned around so she wouldn't have to look at Jaune, it would just be too painful when she had to be away from him. She climbed out the window before disappearing from Jaune's sight.

He had decided to put a shirt on before heading downstairs for breakfast. Jaune wasn't even sure if Nora and Ren even heard the noises they had made last night while having sex. It was hard to control your actions or emotions when you gave yourself to the person you love for the first time. Jaune put his hand through his hair before glancing into the mirror behind his door before he opened it. He thought he looked different because a part of him was gone with Ruby. The fact he was no longer a virgin but now he was a man. Out of respect for his love that wasn't something he never would boast over. Jaune knew his friends would be asking him what it was like with a woman so gorgeous like Ruby if they learned the truth.

Jaune opened the door before making his way downstairs to the smell of bacon and eggs that Ren was cooking on the stove. Nora was eating down a stack of pancakes that Ren had made more faster than he could. This was something that was always normal expect she may be eating more because of the hunger after they had sex. He took a deep breath while he made it into the kitchen though neither of them didn't notice. "Good morning." He let out while trying to act normal as possible. Well that wouldn't be too hard since they didn't notice him walking into the room. Jaune was more in a daze while he was thinking about Ruby and what happened between them last night.

"What's with that smile on your face?" Nora questioned even though it caused Jaune to become surprised while putting a few pancakes on his plate. A smirk as she enjoyed making her friend uncomfortable. It was more being a tease towards her brother since they always acted like siblings. Nora wanted what was best for Jaune especially when he was always in the clouds thinking about Ruby. They hadn't been able to see each other in nearly a month that it was almost as bad as his depression when Pyrrha died. "I know exactly what went on last night in your room."

"There is nothing going on Nora. I don't know what you're insinuating." Jaune answered before taking a piece of pancake and putting it in his mouth. He desperately tried to hide the fact that he had sex last night. Being that it was Nora, she was the last person he even wanted to tell. His cheeks reddened on the thought of Ruby and him being loud enough that they would be caught. That would be the last thing both of them even wanted to happen. He didn't want to boast about his first time because he loved his girlfriend so much. "I-It's not what you think-"

"You mean you didn't have more sex dreams of your girlfriend. I just assumed you were taking care of business by acting out your fantasies with her in bed. I know this is something that shouldn't be discussed so early in the morning." Nora interrupted while she shook her head in her disapproval because she wanted the real thing to happen. Jaune felt his heart pounding out of his chest as Nora kept going on about him fulfilling himself. Nora had always been supportive of his relationship with Ruby and he knew that she wouldn't be able to let it go. "It's been a few weeks since we saw her. It's not healthy for both of you to be separated for such long amounts of time. Even worse if she's supposed to be getting married to this other guy. I bet he's the one responsible for keeping her over here to see you. Ren, honey, what do you think?" Her engagement ring flickered on her finger when she put her elbows on the table, leaning her head down on top of her hands.

It was no secret that Ren proposed to Nora at the Summer Festival when the two couples had separated. Yes, it seemed so sudden but they had known each other their entire lives. Relationships escalate much more quickly because any moment could mean death. For Ruby, status a single woman was slowly dwelling that everything was building up so fast around her. She had nothing to control and felt trapped. He would never be suitable for the upper class because he was the other guy in a love triangle. The love he had with Ruby was forbidden but day after day by some miracle she always chose him. "I wish you wouldn't say it like that Nora. Not out loud at least. What Ruby and I decide to do, it would be up to us. I am the one that's the other guy that chose to be with her. Even worse I wish Ren didn't even speak of these things to you in the first place. I thought this was a matter from brother to brother." Jaune was disappointed over the fact Ren honesty got the better of him once again.

"Sorry Jaune, she forced it out of me. I didn't tell her everything though just gave her information that would keep her quiet. Besides, Jaune knows what he has gotten himself too. So just let it be and don't embarrass him anymore." Ren told his fiancée while pouring some coffee into mugs before placing them near his friends and himself. He left one on the table subconscious because he was so used to Ruby presence. "I wonder what Ruby is doing now."

Ruby had climbed over the railing to her balcony before going over to the door. A curtain was closed over so she couldn't see. Maybe it was more of a cover so no one would notice her sneaking back in. How was she going to explain her absence to Blake? Would it be obvious that she went off to see the soldier? Blake wouldn't be aware that her wedding was moved up and sought comfort in him. Ruby had to be strong with all the accusations that her bodyguard was going to give her. Be truthfully since it would only make things worse even though she knew how angry this could make her. That she continued to wander off without her knowing of her whereabouts.

She took a breath before walking into her room. To her relief that no one was there so that meant Blake was posing as her for the time being. Ruby decided to take a shower and then she changed into an upper class dress, it went just above her feet. She couldn't just walk out with Blake posing as her so all Ruby could do was wait. Ruby sat down on her bed before taking out her diary that was in a lock draw on the side of her bed to right about what happened. The feelings of what it was like with her first time with Jaune that she didn't even want to forget about. After closing the book, she placed it on her chest while lying on the bed. Nothing but she fantasizes with Jaune to keep her company in her loneliness. That was until her door went open before holding her breath before hearing Blake's voice. Even though she couldn't make out what she was saying. Was she herself or posing as her with an illusion?

Blake slammed the door behind her before placing her back against the wall with a heavy sigh. She was disguised as Ruby before she had stopped the dust so the illusion rested on her body. That was when she noticed her friend sitting on the bed. Her face shifted to a more annoyed expression before putting a hand to her waist. "Ruby, where have you been? I had to cover with you on your 'date' with Kai Li. Do you know how appalling that was? That I had to pretend to be you . . . and have no idea where you were so no one would find out your missing. Not only that but use my semblance as well to make it look like I was around as myself. Now explain to me what you were doing."

"Blake, I am sorry. I just lost track of time when I was with my soldier boyfriend." Ruby had stood up while wrapping her arms around herself. She couldn't figure out the right words to tell Blake on what happened between her and Jaune. It wasn't like it was embarrassing to reveal you made love but a more delicate situation. Especially when she was engaged to be married to someone else so it just made everything worse. "After I found out my wedding to Kai Li had been moved up three months I went to see him. He really made me feel better . . . because y-you s-see . . . we ended up . . . well." She turned around while her cheeks than her face reddened. "We had sex." The words finally slipped out of her mouth but she didn't want to didn't see Blake's expression on revealing this news.

"You slept with him." Blake answered by her voice was more aggravated because of what Ruby was telling her. She knew that Ruby was planning too so there wasn't any surprise but it was more on how it happened that angered her. That soldier would have taken any situation that would make Ruby vulnerable so he could get into bed with her. Even though they were now dating and he claimed to love Ruby. Those were her friends' words and not something she actually saw. It was hard to not trust him because of the lower class soldiers' reputation. More worried that there was an alternate motive for getting into bed with her. "You're sure he didn't attempt to seduce you . . . and not just because you wanted to have sex."

"BLAKE!" Ruby protested in offense. "It's not like that at all. I wish you would trust me."

"I do trust you. It's that soldier boyfriend of yours I don't. Besides the fact you are engaged and you're acting like all those upper class women who had affairs. Take Jade for example. She's married to a much older man for his money but he's always away so she invites willing men to her mansion to have sex with them. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up pregnant and pretends to be her husband's baby just so she wouldn't lose her fortune. You're my friend Ruby, I just don't want you to feel regret over this affair you chose to have."

"Regardless, it's my decision Blake." Ruby defended while she put a hand to her chest. "I have to live with the fact that I gave myself to another man. It's someone I am so in love with that I don't even think it matters. I know you're saying this out of concern for my safety. We know the risk but we're both willing to take it. That's the reason we're in a secret relationship to begin with isn't it. "You do trust me right?"

"Miss Rose . . . I am sorry. I spoke out of line." Blake looked down that if it weren't for someone else that should get punished. Ruby wasn't like that but she did want to show respect for her decision. She had been protecting her since they were children there was nothing they didn't hide or keep secret from each other. It's the reason Ruby was able to tell her that she had sex with her boyfriend. Maybe because it was all quite a surprise for her. Blake expected for this to be just a fling that would last a few months to get it out of her system before her marriage. "You forgive me my lady."

Ruby crossed her arms while glancing over at Blake. She wanted to make it seem more like she's thinking it over. Even though Ruby wasn't angry with Blake, she didn't like how everyone was against her relationship with Jaune. Everything had to remind her that their relationship was forbidden. "There's nothing to forgive because I was never mad. It's just I am tired of all the people I love against my romance with this soldier. It's so hard to keep it hidden and I know I have too. I just love him so much . . . it's so hard to describe. I feel like I am flying and there's no way down-"

"Yeah, that's love all right." Blake answered but it had a touch of sarcasm. Even though it was genuine, it's her fear of Ruby getting hurt that kept entering her mind. She couldn't help but wonder what their relationship was like with this soldier when she wasn't around. Was this soldier doing everything to keep Ruby under his thumb so he could be in a sexual relationship with her? Blake wasn't convinced that his intentions weren't all pure. How far has she fallen for him? However this was information that she couldn't state out loud. "I am sure this guy is really special. Regardless of the circumstances for the two of them to keep it hidden. You know how dangerous it is . . . even if you would be spared . . . this soldier lover of yours could die. Just imagine if you father learns that he's having sex with the general's daughter. If this got out to the public, think of what it could do to your reputation-"

"I don't care about my reputation." Ruby pointed out as she turned her head and crossed her arms. Looking at the window while she thought about Jaune and their night together. She wondered how he was doing after they woken up after having sex. Part of her worried that Jaune would get in trouble if anyone found out and it was made public of her affair. Ruby didn't care but it was more she couldn't risk losing him. They were more the opposite of Ren and Nora who were very open on how active on their sex life. "People can think what they want . . .as long as I have him. I am content."

"You're only saying this because you're in love right now. That it's like a fire that will never dim or fade. Miss Rose, I apologize but I am saying this because I always considered you family. Even though I have already spoken out of line already. I just don't want you to be blinded on this path. Things change when certain comments happen . . . such as sleeping together for the first time. Miss Rose, I don't want you to keep having your hopes before they get crushed. Like him dumping you because another more attractive girl comes along and you get your heartbroken. I just couldn't forgive myself for letting that happen to you."

"I understand that. He's not that type of guy at all. I wish you could meet him one day." Ruby answered while putting her hand to her friend's shoulder. "Thanks Blake. I appreciate the fact you're always looking for me." She quickly fixed up her skirt before looking at the door. It was back to the life she didn't want despite finally making love to her boyfriend. If it weren't for the wall...and their classes. They could be with each other, it was so unfair. Now she had to go through more of the wedding arrangements with her fiancé she didn't even want to do. "Well I better take over what you did for me. You have to fill me in on what you guys did. At least you know my taste . . . so they wouldn't be suspicious at all." It was with this that they left.

It was over two months later, Blake looked at Ruby who was sitting up from her bed. For a few weeks everything was normal but recently signs had begun to show of her having to excuse herself at dinner. Finding herself throwing up after she followed her room one time as Ruby had run into the bathroom. There were times she felt nauseous but didn't feel the need to be sick. There were periods that seemed like everything was fine but it always came back. Blake also had noticed that her aversion to foods that she had brought over to her. It seemed like she wanted it but after eating a few bites . . . she pushed it away and threw up again. She didn't know what was wrong with her and it was frightening. Maybe it was because none of this happened to her before.

For the most part it was considered just a stomach virus that had been going around. Of course what bad food would be made, unless someone was trying to poison her. The general out of concern for his daughter had every dish inspected before it was given to her. Just as an extra measure while he had it all investigated. For less than a month, Ruby didn't get to leave her bedroom until General Taiyang knew everything was fine. However this had made her grow restless because she was not able to see her beloved Jaune. Ruby had thought about sneaking out to try to see her boyfriend during the past few weeks. For the most part she could only watch her television in her room or read a book. Her father was always around so Ruby couldn't even get a chance to message her friends or lover on what was going on. Ruby was in relief that he was going to be leaving for another trip even though her father meant well. His overprotectiveness always drove her crazy but she knew it was because it was out of love.

"I don't know how much longer I can take being here." Ruby complained while she had her arms crossed while sitting up from the bed. She couldn't take it anymore before attempting to remove the bed sheets to get out. "I need to at least-" However she was quickly interrupted by Blake who had moved beside her. Blake knew that she could get in trouble to have her be walking around. General Taiyang had addressed her to stay in bed at all times.

"Miss Rose, you're still not well. Please stay in bed." Blake insisted as she gently covered Ruby with the bed sheet covers. She knew her friend wanted to see her secret lover in the lower class. Ruby always tried to get what she wanted in the past and had let things slip by. It wasn't going to happen this time, not when her health was a danger. "If this was because you want to see that soldier . . . you're not well enough to go off and what have sex with him again. You're in no condition too. Miss Rose, I am sorry but you can't leave right now. I can't pretend to be you this time when you're actually sick." Blake warned. "I am just too worried about your health. Even if you are feeling well. What if it happened again?"

"All right. Fine." Ruby pouted before trying to get herself comfortable on the bed. What else could she do? Blake wasn't going to cover for her this time and she very well couldn't leave because everyone would notice. Even though her bodyguard and friend was only looking out for her. Ruby knew she was right but it was so difficult for her. "I will remain a prisoner in my own home."

A knock could be heard coming from the door. Blake sighed as she wondered who could possibly be interrupting them. Ruby needed her rest and didn't need all these visitors. She opened the door to see it was Kai Li with a tray of soup, a few other assorted foods and a vase with some flowers in it. "Miss Rose needs her rest Mr. Li. I don't think she would be in the mood for visitors right now."

"Ruby's my fiancée. I want to take care of her if she's sick. After all, she's going to become my wife." Kai answered defensively. :I brought her soup so it would be easier for her to drink down."

"I am just concerned with Miss Rose's health and don't want it to get worse-" Blake addressed Kai even though she had a hint of disrespect to her future Lord.

"Blake, it's okay." Ruby interrupted while she perked up though it was more from the aroma of food that seemed to captivate her. She really didn't understand why but it didn't matter. However a friend coming to visit her made it seem more like a jailhouse. Like how someone brought food when they were locked up. At least it was better than nothing at all. "I like having visitors."

"All right. Don't take too long Mr. Li. She needs her rest." Blake warned before heading out to guard the front door so the two of them can be alone. She thought it would be for the best for them to get to know each other. Despite the fact Ruby had sex with this solider boyfriend of hers. She assumed that it was only going to be a one time thing because Blake knew it was wrong. With Ruby being at home because of her sickness, it was a good sigh as if Oum wanted her to stay. Not sneak off to continue with her love affair. "I will leave you two alone. Just remember I will be outside guarding the door." It was with that she closed the door while Kai had placed the tray on the bedside table.

"Ruby, I know you may not want to see me right now but being your husband to be. I need to make sure you're well. It will be my job to take care of you once we're married." Kai looked over at his wife to be with concern. She didn't say much while stirring the soup before putting his hand underneath before guiding it over to Ruby's mouth. Ruby took a sip but immediately wanted to spit it back out. Kai smiled while she forced herself to smile like it tasted it good. She thought the soup had a strange aftertaste but didn't want to hurt her friends' feelings. "It's yummy." Ruby lied while clutching her teeth, maybe it was because there was that part of her wished Jaune was the one healing her. She missed him heartbreaking for her that the next time Ruby saw him. Ruby knew she had to brush this off because it would be a long while before they could see each other again.

"Well, I am glad you like it." Kai answered before he gave her some more. He didn't know whether or not to tell her he put a little medicine into the soup. It was because he thought it the best way to help her consume it. It was not like he didn't want to tell her the truth before Ruby had wiped her face with a napkin. Taking care of her and all the gestures he was doing was very sweet. She did appreciate it even though Ruby wasn't fond of the husbandly matter on the way he was going about it.

Blake opened the door though it appeared Kai was more annoyed by the fact he barely had an hour with his wife to be. He found it nice taking care of her, it made him wonder if Blake interrupted them on purpose. Like things were going to get too serious and they were alone in her bedroom together. Kai would never take advantage of a sick woman even though women have done that to him back in Vacuo. "Mr. Li, you're mother and General Taiyang have requested your presence to discuss the upcoming tour before the wedding." Ruby stomach turned over the fact her future mother-in-law was downstairs, she didn't care for the woman at all. This was mainly due to how controlling she was and wanted to be with someone she considered more like a mother. This made her think of Sarcelle Arc, who was nurturing towards her. It made her feel secure and miss what she didn't have since her own mother died.

"All right. I will be there in a minute." Kai politely addressed Blake. He had stood up while fixing the tie on his suit. His mother insisted on her son being presentable in the eyes of the public since the camera would always be on him. Even though he never particularly cared about the spotlight since he was born. Kai knew he couldn't argue with his mother on the matter. "Can't even have some time alone before we even get married. Well we can always wait for this tour."

"Yes. I guess we will." Ruby answered with a smile on her face as she remembered the tour was tradition before the marriage. It was so the public could see the General's daughter and her husband to be as if they were showing off like trophies. Both her parents had gone through it because they got to know each other even more. The difference was her parents were in love but she only cared for Kai as a friend. She was quite surprised when Kai had learned to press his lips to her temple. If she wasn't feeling well, he would kiss Ruby on the lips.

"I will see you soon. Promise me you'll get well." Kai told Ruby before he passed Blake as he headed out the door. She had looked at him approvingly because he was looking after her friend. Kai was the better choice for Ruby over this soldier lover of hers. This separation was the best situation for the both of them. Blake knew that she had to let go of her secret boyfriend because it was best for her.

Jaune had been restless while he looked at his scroll but there once again was no message from Ruby. It was over two months since they had last talked to each other. Even though he focused on training and missions to distract himself. When they were home he couldn't help but look at the window or at his scroll praying to see her or read a message. After their consummating their relationship for the first time, Jaune couldn't stop thinking about the night. It was so amazing that he understood why all the guys were talking about when they had sex. Not that he would boast to anyone about the passion the two shared while in bed. Without so much as a second thought he put on a shirt and old armor that was much lighter along with a more basic sword. He didn't want to leave his actual weapon and armor in case he had to sneak out quickly when he visited Ruby. Jaune already knew this trip to see Ruby was a risk but he couldn't live without seeing her. Maybe that was a price to being in love because to him this was beyond an infatuation. He couldn't stop thinking about Ruby and wanted to be with her every moment of his life. Not that he could with her engagement was stopping them from being together. Jaune knew this man she's bound to wasn't making her happy but there was nothing that could be done. Regardless he had to at least know if she was doing fine because Ruby was likely in misery.

After sneaking out of the house, he made his way to the wall that Ruby always sneaked out to go home. Jaune never really left the border on the outside unless it was training in the forest or going by train on a mission. It's more the path that leads to the desert or the upper class. One place that was forbidden to those in the lower class and the other was nothing but sand where dangerous grimm were located. Either way it was a risk going in any of those areas alone. If anyone knew that the last time they saw each other, it ended with them having sex. People would think that he would want her just for that again. Jaune knew it was far from the truth because he just loved being with his girlfriend. Even with Pyrrha, the two of them never slept together but they enjoyed each other's company until her death.

He took a deep breath before going through the wall to the outside while he stayed close to the border. Jaune had to think quickly as he went into the upper class while in the slims that was the upper class. He was more in the 'poorer' district where they were considered on the bottom. Ruby was in the highest part of the upper class, the farther he went the most at risk of him being in danger. Jaune knew he had to find something to hide his identity because he could be facing prison or the death sentence. There was a place that looked more like a checkpoint which had a whole bunch of guard uniforms. He smiled because he knew it would be a better way for him to blend in with the crowd. Everyone would just see him as a guard and he could be a new one for Ruby's mansion. She had addressed there were always taking shifts and there were new ones going in and out all the time.

For Jaune this would make it easier to sneak into her bedroom. He wondered how Ruby felt over seeing her. If she wasn't there then he knew he would have to wait to see her. Would she end up yelling at him for being foolish to see her or be happy to see him? Jaune was prepared for the worst because it didn't matter to him either way. If he knew his girlfriend was well and safe because then it would be worth sneaking into the upper class. Holding Ruby in his arms and kissing her when they were alone would just be an added bonus. However being a good boyfriend was his motivation and he didn't want people to get the wrong idea. That most people say he would be doing this to get her in bed again if they knew they had sex back in the lower class. That was in reality the last thought from his mind.

Without much suspicion he found Ruby's home as his eyes widened. It was a lot bigger than he thought but what due to it except when he was secretly dating a girl in the upper class. Everything looked the same to him but with his lifestyle Jaune expected it all to be made out of gold. He hid behind some of the larger bushes to see that there were guards as they were foreseeing trespassers on both entrances. It was more likely orders from her father because he was always so protective of her that General Taiyang wouldn't let her out of the house. Something that time and time again has made it harder to see each other.

However, this made him more concerned because her father wouldn't do this without reason. Making it so much more secure that Ruby would have trouble sneaking out. Jaune knew it was important to check if his girlfriend was fine. Even if she was going to yell at him for sneaking in to see her. I mean he could address that Nora and Ren were worried about her as well. What little choice did he really have when you haven't spoken to someone you love in so long. He quickly looked around before making his way to the other side of the mansion. Jaune had his back to the wall to hide from passing guards. After they passed, he sighed in relief before looking around to find something to climb. He remembered Ruby mentioned her room was on the third floor and she was able to escape from her room.

Jaune eventually noticed a fence that reached the third floor that went to a balcony. He knew that Ruby's room had one and she must have been some way to escape. He took a deep breath before Jaune slowly climbed up it until he reached the balcony. He knew that he had to be careful in case he was in the wrong room. There were a few balconies so one of them could be

her sisters. Which would be in luck since she wasn't living in the mansion anymore. It would be worse if it ended up being her father's room. Even though there was little chance of him being in there so he was always busy. Ruby mentioned that he was always in his office. Jaune moved in closer while looking through the curtain to see she was laying down in her bed. He quietly opened the door to her bedroom, it was so much larger in comparison to the small room they let her stay in the lower class. A noticeable factor is another staircase that she had her own library because Ruby loved to read. Yet someone of her status preferred to be in the lower class because that was when she was happiest.

Ruby could hear Jaune's footsteps as she opened her eyes and believed him to be a stranger trying to break in or do something else like rape her. She takes Crescent Rose firmly gripping it before quickly sitting up and placing it near Jaune's throat. Not realizing it was her boyfriend in disguise due to him being in a guard uniform. Maybe it was because it was late into the night so that didn't help matters either. "Don't come any closer, intruder."

"It's me Jaune." He stated before taking off the helmet that was hiding his blonde hair. Ruby's eyes widened before she horrifyingly moved it away as she put it beside her on the bed. Quickly standing up as she wrapped her arms around her lover.

"I can't believe you're here." Ruby expressed happily at first before realizing that Jaune was seeing her. It was too dangerous for this to happen because their romance was forbidden. It was fine when they were in the lower class since no one knew the truth. In the upper class she had a fiancee and things were expected of her. She slowly pulled away from him as they gazed into each other's eyes. "Why are you here? You know we can't be seen together here in the upper class. You should go. There are punishments worse . . . I couldn't bear it if they end up giving you the death sentence I-" Ruby tearfully pleaded as she quickly was cut off by a kiss from Jaune. It was very passionate as their tongues entered each other's mouths from the two months of separation that remained between them. A reminder of the last time they were with each other they had ended up consummating their relationship. A feeling that had only made her increasingly aroused at the very touch of each other again. She knew it was wrong but Ruby wanted him so badly, she missed him so much.

Both of them were in heavy breaths as they pulled apart. Jaune touched her face as their foreheads touched. "I came to see you, Ruby. You're all I could think about the past two months. It pained me to not be able to touch or even talk to you. I kept thinking something was wrong. So I sneaked out to the upper class, got a guard disguise and here I am. Lovebud, I just need to know if you're fine. There was no way to contact you. I had to hear you say in person."

"I just haven't been feeling well. However now that you're here. I feel so much better." Ruby answered. Even though she knew how much of a nice guy her boyfriend always has been. There was a part of her that thought of Jaune as a bit of a bad boy. Namely he was breaking laws just to see her. She could feel her heart pace even faster. Jaune leaned in to attempt to kiss her again. It also went into panic because none of the doors were closed. They couldn't risk being seen together as she quickly got out of bed to lock the door. Jaune nearly fell onto the bed but understood that Ruby didn't want anyone to see them together. He watched as she went to the balcony door before closing the curtains. Ruby had turned around before making her way back over to her bed. The two of them had started kissing as they were making every moment with each other last.

Ruby laid underneath Jaune as they continued to kiss each other. Her hands roaming up and down his back that made him increasingly aroused. Namely because they didn't want anyone to figure out they have been intimate. The view thought of any of it just disappeared once they started kissing on Ruby's bed.

The night we shared together was very special . . . and I want to create more memories. Who knows when we have to be apart again my love." Ruby addressed as she leaned in and gave her boyfriend another kiss on the lips. She had kissed all over his face with eagerness. Maybe more caught with their attempts at making love than Ruby had realized. Jaune had closed his eyes as he returned her kiss as their lips met, she wrapped her arms around his neck. She was given him an erection with the increasing arousal from her actions.

Even though Jaune was hesitant, he knew it was fine to continue. He adjusted himself onto Ruby before his hardening member went into her entrance. Maybe it was muscular build because of all that training when Ruby felt his reflection as he thrusted in and out of her repeatedly. Jaune had slowly reached his climax as they continued passionately making out. He pulled out of her as their fluids leaked underneath them as the two of them were out of breath. Ruby snuggled up against him and put her head on his chest. Finding comforting his racing heartbeat from their night together. It was too late for Jaune to leave, so the alarm was set earlier. To make sure he was able to get out without being seen. The bed sheets were pulled up to cover their nude forms. "That . . . was . . . fantastic." "I love you too." Ruby quietly answered back as she closed her eyes and fell asleep in her lover's arms. Jaune smiled before he too fell asleep as it was pleasant dreams. Even for one night in the past two months they were together. No one could separate them because until the morning they had the warmth of each other's embrace.

The alarm rang as Ruby had reluctantly got up to turn it off to look at what time. It was 5:45 am, she had set the alarm earlier to spend more time with her boyfriend before he had to leave. Ruby held her bed sheets as it covered the top of her breasts while sitting up on the bed. She looked over at Jaune, who was still asleep as the alarm didn't seem to wake him. The bed sheets were to his waist as his bare muscles were exposed. Perhaps after a night of sex, it only made her aroused. A feeling she knew it had to be fought off because it was the right time. Ruby leaned down to kiss Jaune on the lips while playing with his blond hair as her fingertips went through it. Jaune slowly opened his eyes before sitting up as he had put a hand to his forehead. It took a moment to remember he wasn't in the lower class but sneaked to see Ruby in her room. Unlike what happened between that night they got drunk, which was vague to a fault. Both of them impulsively out of desire chose to have sex. Yes, many would say it was a foolish decision because of the risk at getting caught. People don't understand when you're in love . . . all you want to be with is that person despite it being forbidden. Just to have that one night together after being apart for so long.

"I better get dressed and get out of here before anyone sees us together." Jaune addressed in panic as he attempted to move the bed sheets off of him. Ruby stopped him as she cuddled up close to him. He started to blush as Jaune remembered their naked bodies were touching. It was clear from her body language that she wanted him to stay with her. "Lovebud, you know I would love to be with you. It's too dangerous. We can't get caught. It would be worse on the fact if they knew we had sex … and you're engaged to what's his name. I don't want you to get in trouble for me-" Jaune was cut off by Ruby's finger as she quieted her lover. Even though she knew he was right, there was still time before everyone woke up.

"Jaune, we still have plenty of time before everyone wakes up. Unless you're more eager to get out of here then be with me." Ruby in angst held her knees as she tried to prevent herself from crying. She kept wondering when the relationship would end because Jaune would break up with her. It was one of her greatest fears because she didn't know if her heart can take the rejection. It had nothing to do with only being with her for sex because Jaune wasn't like that at all. Maybe because losing her secret lover meant the adventure and excitement in her life would end. Ruby already hated all the restrictions her father had for her due to his overprotectiveness. Even though she was friends with her fiancé, he wasn't going to give her the freedom that she desired. "I know our relationship is a long distance one since we have to be separated for months on end but-" Ruby was quickly interrupted as Jaune's lips pressed against her own.

"You talk too much. You know I love you. No distance between us will change that." Jaune answered before they continued to kiss as she fell back onto the bed. It was more like the insurance she needed as she laid back on the bed. He went on top of her as their naked bodies touched each other from under the bed sheets. Both of their bodies had yearning from their love making from the night before. A few moans escaped as their making out intensified. Ruby pulled some of his blond hair as Jaune hands groped her breasts.

Blake had gotten up to do her normal routine as she had gotten dressed. She made her way to check on Ruby before she worked out. More part of a perimeter check but in this case there was more of a reason behind it. People would think she's crazy for her devotion to her job. After all, she needed to get her sleep in order to Ruby around the clock. This was something that could be a problem as she drank some coffee to give her energy. She went to Ruby's door as she held her nearly empty mug. Blake's ears were alarmed by the sounds coming from the other side. Being a Faunus she could hear things that a normal human but she was oblivious that they were sounds of pleasure. It sounded more like she was in angst and needed help.

She didn't hesitate to take out Gambol Shroud as she shifted her weapon to it's blade for form. Blake closed her eyes while remembering this was what she trained for. She had placed her mug on the hallway table so she wouldn't spill it. To fight off intruders that attack Ruby Rose as she heard noises coming from behind her bedroom door. Blake thought it sounded like struggling as she gripped her weapon. She believed that someone was in her protectee's room and may be doing something. Without hesitation as Blake opened the door to see Jaune and Ruby in bed together. The bedsheets were coming off Ruby with the upper part of her breasts exposed, as Jaune kissed on her neck and collarbone. From Blake's perspective, it looked more like he was forcing himself on her. She looked down to see the guard uniform on the bed while Blake's loose hand became a fist in anger. Taking out Gambol Shroud by it's sheath as she makes her way to attack Jaune.

"Get off her!" Blake couldn't believe that one of the guards that protected the Xiao Long/Rose Family had forced himself on Ruby. There was a part of her that had felt a betrayal because General Taiyang hired those he could trust to protect his family and this happens. He wouldn't be happy at all with a guard nearly or has raped her. She leaped forward before he could even move as Jaune moved away and had the blade right to his neck. Blake tried to shield Ruby even though she felt there was nothing she needed protection from. She quickly covered her breasts with the bedsheets as it was awkward with both of them being naked. Neither of them thought Blake would end up seeing them in bed together as they made out. Ruby watched how Blake went between the two of them as she clutched her hands to her chest. "You really think you can force yourself and have your way with Miss Rose. Just because it's your job to keep herself doesn't mean you can ravish her. There's consequences to these actions and I am going to have you-"

"Blake, it's not what you think." Ruby, talented in fighting had made it so it was easy to disarm Blake with even just one arm. She had gone through the mandatory training as she took Gambol Shroud and took it away before either could blink. Ruby held the bed sheets covering her while holding both blades. She was both embarrassed and distraught over the situation even more so they were still naked. Jaune had a clear look of concern because she didn't know that Blake was her bodyguard. Maybe it was worse that they were fooling around in bed when he knew he should have left. Ruby knew it was wrong and he should have let him leave. She couldn't help it because she didn't know how much longer they were going to be together this time. "If you give us a chance to explain." Ruby knew that Blake most likely saw his guard disguise on the floor. It was only going to make this all look worse than it really is.

"Now wait a minute. I know I shouldn't be talking and every word I say would only make you angrier but you're immediately jumping to conclusions." Jaune put out his hand as he used a blanket to cover his naked body and held it up with the other. He clenched his teeth as he thought this was bad that someone had seen the two of them in bed together. Jaune was aware of the punishment of anyone snitched, he looked around for his boxers as he grabbed them and put them while he used the blanket to hide his naked body. It was fine for Ruby to see his nude body but not some other girl he didn't even know. Who knows if more guards were going to be alerted? He had to make his escape in the next few minutes.

"Miss Rose . . . he was forcing himself on you. Do you really think I am going to allow-" Blake addressed in anger and frustration over the matter. It was more, she didn't want to listen because this type of situation shouldn't even happen in the first place. Certainly Ruby knew and would have defended herself than let it happen "Now give me back my weapon so I can take care of him. I don't know why you're even defending this guy."

"No you're not even listening to me Blake . . . he's my boyfriend. The one I was telling you about that lives in the lower class. He came to check up on me last night . . and we-" Ruby paused as she began to blush as she didn't know how to explain they ended up having sex. Though Blake put a hand to his forehead because it was pretty clear on what the two of them just did. He took another look at Jaune and saw his muscular upper body as he put on his black shirt and started to put on his chainmail. Ruby was attracted to men that were strong so perhaps it was a reason she had given herself to this soldier. "I know it was stupid what we did. Especially being in my bedroom in the upper class. We're just so in love that after not seeing each other for so long . . . it was more out of desires we couldn't control. You would understand that consider you had sex with Sun." Ruby smirked while it caused Blake to blush because she hadn't really told anyone about that so how did she know. Blake could see that she was in the same predicament as Ruby. I mean if her father knew that she was making love to her on-off boyfriend when she was on duty that one night.

"So you're that soldier that Ruby had been seeing in secret." Blake quickly changed the subject. Jaune had raised an eyebrow because he wasn't aware of the lies that Ruby had been telling of him being a soldier. "I apologize. From the clothes you were wearing. I thought you have assaulted Miss Rose. I am her bodyguard Blake Belladonna. Pleased to meet you." Blake put out her hand as a fully clothed Jaune hesitantly shook his hand. As they pulled their hands away, she glanced at him intensely. "You're the young man that caught the attention of everyone at the Masked Ball that was dancing with Miss Rose. In all honesty, it's better that you get out of here as fast as you can. Miss Rose's father has been searching for you for months." Blake warned this young man because he meant the world to Ruby, he made her very happy.

"You don't say." Jaune answered while Ruby mouthed to tell him that she would explain it to him. He sighed because he knew his girlfriend had to make an excuse to Blake to hide his real identity even further to protect him. Though making him a soldier seemed to be backfiring since her father is searching for him. It would be nice if he could use that to stay in the mansion so he could be with Ruby all the time. All it really seemed to be was more like a dream. "Well I better get going before anyone else sees me." He quickly leaned down to give a quick kiss to Ruby as their lips met before making his way out the window.

"What were you thinking?" Blake scolded as she took Gambol Shroud and placed it in storage as Jaune disappeared. "Really? Having sex with him when you're not even feeling well. Did even use protection. I mean that's twice you were intimate with him or was it more than that. Please don't tell me you had made love more than twice because apparently you already know about the story when Sun and I were intimate. It was the same with Weiss and one of her secret lovers when she thought she was pregnant too.

"Well . . . yes that it was only twice and no we didn't use protection because we were so caught up in the passion of our lovemaking. I know it was stupid. We were both irresponsible especially if we're going to have sex. We can't have the risk of getting pregnant when I am getting married to Kai Li. Yang told me everything. Being careful is our number one priority. So I am sure there's nothing to worry about. Just promise me you won't say anything and cover for us if anyone asked." Ruby pleaded because she knew it was concerning if anyone heard their sounds of passion. Were they really foolish to have unprotective sex? Definitely but it has happened and there's nothing more that can be done.

"Don't worry." Blake assured before standing up. "I vowed to keep your secret because this was something that made you happy. However, I am frustrated that you said you would end it and you haven't. That you want to continue with this romantic affair when you're going to be married. Being like all these other upper class women that have lovers on the side. I expected better from you Miss Rose." It was with that Blake had left the room in disappointment. All Ruby could do was look down at herself as she knew that she had to put her nightgown back on so her father won't know anything.

Jaune climbed up through his bedroom window and could only hope that Ren and Nora didn't notice he was gone. He took off his chainmail armor as he thought it would be handy if he ever had to sneak into the upper class again. Though he may have to put it over his real armor as a better form of protection. Now that he knew how well guarded it was and who knows who would attack him if he did end up going back. Jaune knew the happiest he'd been is with Ruby and he didn't want any of that to end. He quickly covered his shirt with his pajamas as he buttoned him up as soon.

"Where have you been?" Nora scolded as she put her arms in frustration. Jaune could only look at her as he felt Nora had been around his mother for too long. It felt like those times he sneaked out to see his friends because his parents wouldn't let him go out. More because he was always reckless and was worried for his safety. He's life was more strict when he was younger and he had made the choice to become a Huntsman. While his mother was supportive, it was when the rift had started with his father. Gris had tried to keep him from his dream because of the dangers that lurk out there. He was a ten year old that wanted to one day travel the world. However in order to be a Huntsman as he got older, he agreed to not go too far away from home.

"I went to check on Ruby . . . is that a problem. I mean she is my girlfriend." Jaune answered though he didn't realize how it sounded. Mostly because he has gone into a forbidden area like the upper class. He knew the dangers but he was really that blind by his love for Ruby. While it was very sweet, it was understandable. Nora and Ren were worried about their friend but they couldn't risk being seen due to the punishments and could end up being severe. Even though the two wanted to believe that Jaune and Ruby were meant for each other. "Just so you know . . . she felt better when I was there so I stayed with her-" He tried to cover the fact they ended up having sex as his cheeks turned red.

"Oh you saw … Ruby. Are you crazy?! What if people saw you or saw something indicated you weren't from the upper class. You know the punishment they bring to people that sneak in especially if they're from the lower class. Don't get me wrong we're worried about Ruby too. Especially when we haven't seen her in nearly two months and we want to see her again but you know the punishments are more severe they can give out for those that are not from the upper class. What if they had caught you and you got yourself killed." Nora angrily told Jaune as she pointed a finger to his chest. She felt like a sister that wanted to make sure her brother wasn't doing something so irresponsible. Ren and Nora knew they would never forgive themselves if they ended up losing another friend.

"Calm down. No one noticed I was there all night." Jaune slipped out as something he didn't mention. It seemed more like he saw Ruby until she fell asleep and left. However the fact, he stayed with Ruby in her bedroom certainly changed things. It gave him more of a chance at getting caught. "I was very careful. I stole the guard disguises so they would think I was one of them. It made it easier to walk around. They didn't stop me." He knows it was foolish but it's been done and didn't regret his decision. It was worth it in his mind to spend a night with the woman he loved so it was worth the risk of getting caught.

"All night . . . are you kidding-" Nora addressed before Ren put her hand over her mouth. He was a bit flustered over the situation, though it was more because of his girlfriend embarrassing him. Ren loved Nora but somehow his childhood friend goes overboard. She continued to try and speak through his mouth but it ended up being muffled.

"Now isn't the time Nora." Ren protested as he refused to let go of her. "You need to calm down and not get so wild. What's done has been done." He looks over at Jaune with worry in his eyes as he tries to be more gentle than Nora's more direct approach. "We understand you wanted to see her. That's what Nora is saying. We miss her too. It's just that we don't want you to do something so insane because you're blinded by your love for her that it could lead to you getting caught."

"Thanks I do appreciate it." Jaune addressed with a smile before looking back at the window. He closed his eyes as he remembered his night with Ruby. It was hard to be apart because he already missed her and didn't know she was going to explain the situation? Would she be getting in trouble especially when Ruby was already engaged to another because they ended up having sex again. It's made worse when she's engaged to someone else. It would only be luck that her fiance never finds out about them. Even though he could only wish she would drop the relationship with him. Jaune knew that was something that could never be happy and he was in a one sided love triangle.

Ruby had sat down at the edge of the bed as Blake had paced back and forth. After her sexual encounter with Jaune there was worry on the fact Ruby could end up pregnant. The two of them were waiting on a pregnancy test that Blake had sneaked in and placed it in her bathroom to wait. One time she wasn't even sure of what happened but the second time they knew Ruby and Jaune had unprotected sex. However the second couldn't happen because it would be too early. If they really did consummate their relationship that unknowingly that night...that one could lead to it happening.

"All we have to do is wait for the bell to ring. However I think it's taken such a long time." Blake was growing impatient as she crossed her arms. She had to know the truth so they could prepare themselves. Certainly more she would blame herself for allowing the romance to get so far that it led to them making love. Something that shouldn't happen between them at all.

"Whatever happens, we just need to get through this part." Ruby answered as she touched her stomach. She had mixed feelings over the situation because what if it was positive. It was more like it was turning into a knot because it was so unexpected. That would mean she would become a mother, something she originally didn't want because of dreams of being her Huntress. Getting married and being a breeding machine was something she was against, even those women in the upper class that had affairs. Now she may be expecting a baby with the man she was in love with. It was a torn situation because Ruby was happy at the thought but she also felt even more guilty over deceiving Kai.

Blake knew this would be disastrous if Ruby turned out to be pregnant. How was she going to explain any of this to everyone because they didn't know how long this could be hidden? Even saying it's Kai's baby was a lie because Ruby never slept with him and he wouldn't be convinced at all. After all they never had done more than kiss on the lips. Would she have attempted to avoid having sex with him once they were married because of her feelings for that solider? It was expected of her to have a baby with her husband to be but this wasn't the way it appeared to be heading.

The alarm startled them as they both swallowed as they prepared for what's going to happen. Ruby made her way into the bathroom as she took the stick as she tried to remember the instructions but got too nervous and pulled it away. "Oh I can't look."

"Let me see. It says here a faint line appears once the timer is up. If it's two bars it's positive and it's one bar you're not. I know you're uncomfortable with this but it's your pregnancy test. Miss Rose, it's better if you're the one that looks. I had to do it with my fear, remember." Blake told her friend while touching her shoulder as she gave her support. "No matter what I will be here for you. I have kept your secret until now and I don't plan to go back. So we can think of something together if it really is happening and you're having a baby."

"Okay . . . I am ready." Ruby nodded before taking a deep breath as she glanced at it. She didn't realize a smile grew on her face as she read the pregnancy test. It had two bars on it as if she lost the ability to speak. She was pregnant.

Author's Note: YES...the drama now starts...Jaune and Ruby are now facing consequences from their passionate nights together. Ruby's pregnant with their child. They conceived in the first or second night...we'll the first night they actually did have sex but they were so drunk...neither of them even remember it. Which isw hwy they think their second time is their first time. It did bother me that no one questioned in reviews if it happened or not...

Blake now met Jaune...and she is worried for her friend because of this situation...

Nora and Ren still don't know Jaune and Ruby had started having sex...why keep that from their friends? Will this upset them?

There's also Kai who's completely let in the dark...how would he react?
