Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Bewitched Bond. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth do.
Glynda blew the doors down with Disciplinarian, causing the object to fly halfway across the room and into a bookcase.
"Quiet as ever, Glyn." Crim joked as Glynda shot her friend a glare and twirled the riding crop before placing it in her boot.
"This will be our base of operations while emergency staff and other workers handle the rest of Vale." Glynda got an eyebrow from Crim who smirked in a way that annoyed Glynda to no end.
"So, would that mean we have to put the door back where we found it?" Crim asked, Glynda growled and drew her weapon before flicking the weapon to the side.
The displaced door flew all the way across the room and back to the hinges where it locked shut.
Glynda pushed her glasses up with the weapon before going to see if she could find anyone in the building.
"Make sure you knock down every bookshelf you find! Really give them the team COPR spirit!" Glynda gave a gesture that was entirely unladylike of her, but got the message across as Crim folded his hands behind him.
"You know she could easily snap you in half, right?" Port asked, Crim nodded and shook his head with what had to be childlike amusement.
"Yep, but she won't do it. she'll get REALLY close to doing it, then decide I'm 'not worth it', then back out. Your forgetting I used to be in charge of the team we were on, Pete." Crim walked off to go and find some books to read.
Port looked at Oobleck who was busy clearing out a flock of baby Nevermores, lighting the group on fire with Antiquity's Roast.
Crim turned to see the burning Grimm collapse to the ground before Oobleck grabbed a book, sat down on a ruined chair and started to read.
"This reminds me a lot of our junior year as Beacon." Port stated, Crim chuckled and started moving debris around to make room for tech.
"Was that before or after you decided to try and use moustache wax as a prank and ended up taking the hair off about half the class?" Crim moved a few items and then started to look around.
He remembered the library used to be where they did ALL their studying as Glynda would often drag the team down there, usually against their will.
Then again? It wasn't like their second in command wasn't the second-best fighter when it came back to things like that.
"Yes, that completely would be funny if you and Port didn't have to sneak into the office to try and get the power for that. me and Glynda were busy studying for the class at the moment and we were also busy trying to think about next classes." Port heard from Oobleck as Crim rolled his eyes and sighed.
"No, I seem to recall you using a combination of… a lot of Fire Dust for the class experiment… oh, I almost forgot the fire department were still trying to deal with the damage to part of Beacon. we lost our eyebrows for a long time." Crim stated with sheer amusement evident in his voice.
It was quite clear to him that things back then weren't that much different when it came down to it.
Pure insane antics and just pure insane fun… only with antics that actually put people at risk.
No, that reminded him of Vacuo, it was a lot like Vacuo.
"So, anyone care to question what happens when we fix up Vale? It's quite clear that things aren't going to go back to normal just at any moment and nothing will happen ever again." Crim asked his comrades only to get a few looks that signified not even they knew what Glynda really wanted in the coming months.
Crim knew Glynda loved to play the long game. Glynda was the team strategist if Crim couldn't come up with anything major at the time. it would always cause them to wonder how the shy bookworm usually became the team general when they couldn't put together a battle plan.
Crim did always come up with the most unnatural plans, but they always smashed the enemy more then anything. It did always give them a LOT of stories to try and top each with stranger and stranger topics when it came down to it.
Crim wouldn't deny a lot of his plans were flat out insane or just didn't make a lot of logical sense.
They weren't often supposed to, if it didn't make sense? It couldn't be countered so easily. he reveled in making purely insane battle plans when it came down to it. he smirked and then turned to look.
"So, anyone want to talk about operation: Dyna…" He had half the library thrown at him as Glynda seethed with anger at the mere mention of the mission.
