A Visit To Max Part 3
"You're welcome, now I'd better be getting back to Pine Hollow," Lisa said. "Rafael is waiting there for me."
"Don't fall into the creek again, Lisa." Max wheezed, he could feel a big sneeze coming on.
"No need to worry about that, Max," a voice called from the doorway. "I will be driving Lisa back to Pine Hollow myself."
Max turned to the voice who had spoken in the doorway.
"Thanks, Mom." Max called back, holding back a coughing fit.
"You're welcome, Max." Elizabeth called back.
Lisa got into Elizabeth's car and the twosome went back to Pine Hollow.
Once back at Pine Hollow, Lisa went into the lounge to find Rafael hobbling around on his crutches.
"Rafael! Hold on," Lisa scolded sharply. "what are you doing?"
"I have to be getting home to Sweet Water, Lisa." Rafael answered.
"Sit back down and rest!" Lisa scolded Rafael sharply.
"But Lisa..." Rafael protested.
"But nothing, Rafael, I'm going to get Missis Reg," Lisa said. "and I'll ask her to drive you home."
Before Rafael could protest any further, Lisa left the lounge to get Elizabeth.
