Chapter 21: Team Dragon Ball Arrives On Mobius Again!
Flames roared around the spaceship as it tore through the upper atmosphere of Planet Mobius. When the Capsule Corp spaceship finally passed through the upper atmosphere, it passed by the floating majesty that was Angel Island, aglow with the green light of the Master Emerald. Finally, control was given back to the commander of the ship; Vegeta. He tracked Sonic's distress call to the downtown district of West City. The spaceship finally slowed down to a decent speed, and locked onto Sonic's position. It zoomed forward in his direction faster than the speed of sound. West City came into view, and all its destruction was made for all to see. "Wow, Vegeta. Looks like Buu is back to his old ways, right? We'll just take care of him like we did before." Goku said optimistically. Apparently, Goku's easygoing nature masked the fact that he knew Majin Buu had the power to wipe them all out if he wanted to. Finally, Vegeta found a safe spot to put the spaceship down, and opened the exit hatch. The light of fires raging all over the city cast an ominous red glow to the sky. Suddenly, a yellow light appeared next to them. It was Sonic! "Hey, guys! It's been a minute since I've seen you! Yeah, right now, it doesn't look so good, so why don't we start off strong and handle this guy easily?" Sonic pumped his fist into the air. Goku looked as excited as ever, and went Super Saiyan. "Alright! I've been waiting to have a crack at him again. This time, I won't let him get away with all his people-absorbing shenanigans!" Then Goten and Trunks stepped out of the spaceship, clearly just awoken from a nap. "What's all the noise? Why're we on Mobius again? Oh, hi Mr. Sonic. Nice to see you again." said Goten. Trunks scanned the scene with his eyes. Fire blazed everywhere. And then there was little Tails, going all out against the monstrosity that was Majin Buu.
"Wow, looks like you've been training Tails all this while, have you? I wish me and Goten could train with you. Hey, where's Knuckles?" Trunks asked. Sonic looked down sadly. "Unfortunately, just before you got here, Majin Buu killed Knuckles with a Kamehameha from point-blank range. He was blown away…" Sonic's eyes began to tear up. Goku patted him on the back. "It's okay, Sonic. It's no big deal!" he said. Sonic looked up into Goku's eyes. "Did you just say that it wasn't a big deal? Are you out of your mind?!" Sonic yelled. "Well, yeah. Remember, the Dragon Balls can bring anyone back to life! We'll just wish him back!" Goku said. Sonic suddenly stopped crying. "Oh, yeah. That's right. Well, let's go kill Buu! You brought what I asked for?" Sonic asked. Vegeta held up a small brown bag. "Well let's go!" he said. Sonic and the older Saiyans flew off into the distance to help Tails fight off Buu. Goten and Trunks went Super Saiyan and followed the others. Tails was still busy releasing his anger upon Majin Buu, and he was not letting up. "You dared kill Knuckles? Have you ANY idea what he's done for me the past few years? He's been almost an older brother to me, and Sonic's been a father figure of mine! My actual parents died in an earthquake when I was only five! I had no siblings! And now you took away the only person I considered as a sibling!" Tails kicked Buu in his face, and he was sent flying backwards, a mangled mess. "That'll teach you to mess with Team Sonic!" Suddenly, Sonic and the Saiyans teleported to Tails. "Hey, guys! I just finished him off, so we can go now!" Vegeta shook his head, and pointed to a spot behind Tails. Majin Buu's destroyed body was reforming to its grey, lifeless-looking, self. Suddenly, a large object appeared on the horizon. It zoomed inwards, and slammed into Majin Buu. The mysterious object moved so fast, that nobody got a good look at it. "What was that? It was so fast, I didn't even see it!" Goten said. The object and Majin Buu began to battle fiercely. "Well, I guess the problem will take care of itself." said Sonic. FIVE MINUTES LATER… Buu and the mysterious visitor had fought steadily for a good long while, although the mystery visitor was fighting a losing battle. Suddenly, Vegeta noticed something. "Hey, Kakarot, doesn't the new guy look like the good Buu from Earth? It couldn't be, could it? He's back home with that Mr. Satan guy!" Goku squinted to get a better look. "Yeah, it does look like him, doesn't it? I hope this battle goes better than the last one!" The Evil Buu unfortunately had a trick up his sleeve. "Candy Beam!" he yelled as a pink electrical wave came streaming out of the long tentacle on Evil Buu's head.
It hit Good Buu head on, and he was surrounded by pink energy. "AHH! Buu hit by lightning!" said the Good Buu. A huge cloud of pink smoke appeared around him, and when it disappeared, all that was left was a piece of chocolate! Evil Buu walked up to it, and picked it up. He shoved it into his mouth, and chewed hungrily. "Hmm… tastes a little like- AAAAHHH!" Buu felt a new power within him, as the energy of Good Buu fused with his own evil energy. Pink steam shot from every hole in his body, and his deep blue cape rose into the air. He yelled with a deep roar, and pink lightning crashed around him. He was cloaked in steam, and when it finally blew away, a new form was revealed to our heroes. Majin Buu's new body had a sleek look. He turned pink, due to the appearance of Good Buu, he retained his white baggy pants, and his Majin belt. However, Majin Buu got some other new clothes. He got black and gold armbands, and brown boots with a black upper part. His neck was thick and muscular, and his chest was well toned. Majin Buu had become much taller than before. Sonic was stunned. "So, did we all just let that happen? Seems to me that this whole thing could've been avoided… just saying." Sonic shrugged. The new Buu started to walk towards the group of heroes. "Looks like I've finally reached a new level of power. It's enough to kill you all in an instant! And that is what I plan to do!" Majin Buu held his hand up into the sky and a pink light surrounded it. Suddenly, an energy wave surged out of his hand, into the sky. It split into millions, possibly billions, of small individual blasts, that all spread far and wide across Mobius, each one headed for a different target.
"Sonic, what's he doing?! He isn't even aiming for us!" Tails yelled. The uproar of Buu's attack was so loud, that Tails had to shout to be heard. But Sonic was too mesmerised by the sheer power of the attack to pay attention. Vegeta suddenly had an epic moment of realization. "Kakarot. He's using the Human Extinction Attack! He's killing everyone on the planet!" Goku's eyes grew wide. "Oh, yeah! I remember that!" Buu kept going with his attack, although it was steadily growing stronger. "HAHAHAHAHA! I am Super Buu, and I rule this world! AHAHAHAHAHA!" Little by little, Buu's attack ran out of steam. Then it finally stopped. Buu put his hand down, and stretched his arm. "Do you now see what you are up against? This is my ultimate form, a form you have never seen, and will never see again. I am looking for the ultimate fighter to give me the battle I deserve. I will give you five hours to present to me the best fighter, or else I will eliminate this planet from existence! Five hours! Good luck." Super Buu leapt into the sky, and zoomed away. The team was shocked. "I can't believe that Buu actually did it again. He killed all the people in the world!" Goku said. Goten finally spoke up. "Dad, it looks like me and Trunks'll have to use the secret weapon again." This time, though, we'll take it up a notch."
