Jayne was never meant to have the life of a normal person. She was born to be special, destined to be the Slayer and be raised as a Winchester. Her life ends up taking a turn when she comes across the Archangel Gabriel who claims to be her guardian angel, changing things as they know it, for angels and humans aren't meant to be together. 24. Author's Note

Hey there readers!

So...after thinking this over very carefully and for a long time (hence, no update of this story since,) I've decided to fully rewrite this story. During my time, I've progressed as a write and my thoughts for this story aren't the same anymore as they were when I first started writing it. I started bringing it into a trope that I was starting to question. As I went along, I started feeling like something was missing from my story.

This story just didn't feel right with me anymore...and then I figured out what I need to do.

Now, don't be worry, I'm not going to make it too big of a change. I'm still keeping the Biblical elements to it, but what I'm changing is Jayne being raised as a Winchester. Why? Because I've learned that in order to write a good OC story, the OC's need to be able to stand on their own. I wasn't getting that with Jayne being raised as a Winchester. She didn't feel like her own person (even though personality wise she was.) She was relying too much on them. It was all she knew...and I couldn't imagine her story without them. It was like either she was a Winchester or she wasn't a person at all.

So that's why I'm going to go back and change the story. Obviously it won't be calledThe Winchester Sister Tales, but the Winchester brothers will be in it. I will still have the Gabriel/OC pairing, but it won't follow any of the episodes at all. I want it to be original content.

I'll announce it soon in another chapter. Thanks for understanding! Till then, I'll leave this story up for a little until I post the new one.
