Espeon- Inside Outside Upside-Down

The Sun was shining over the peaceful town that was near the forest. It was a beautiful, clear day with not a cloud in the sky, and perfectly warm. On the wooden fence that ran across the backyard of one of the houses, an Espeon was walking along without a care. She kept her small pink paws in a straight line as she stepped along the top of the fence. As she admired the beautiful day around, just looking around, her head suddenly stopped as she looked in the direction of the nearby house. Across the backyard, inside the house, in the kitchen, atop the kitchen table was a bowl filled with bright, colorful, delicious berries.

Espeon smiled widely, and she jumped off of the fence and landed deftly on all four paws. She then gracefully bounded through the grass towards the house. Espeon smiled as she felt the grass beneath her paws between every leap. On her third bound, she put an extra spring in her legs to jump higher. At the peak of her elegant leap, she held her right foreleg out in front of her and kicked her left hindleg back behind her in a gravity defying mid-air pose. She closed her eyes and held her head up high as she moved through the air, her forked tail twirling around gorgeously, and then quickly brought her legs back in for a smooth landing.

Opening her eyes, Espeon continued to hop forward, and then spun around once on her forelegs when she was a few feet from the back entrance of the house and on the stone patio. Bending her hind legs slightly, Espeon gave a happy chuckle as she kept her eyes on the bowl of berries. Then she pounced forward to enter the kitchen. Her face slammed right into something, and she fell straight down and landed flat on her belly.

Espeon eyes were closed in pain from the impact, but she quickly opened them and blinked as she stared blankly into the kitchen right in front of her. She cocked her head in confusion, and then took two quick steps forward. Her nose bumped hard into something, and she quickly scrambled backwards, whimpering in pain as she gently touched her tiny nose with her right forepaw.

Espeon put her paw down and squinted, trying to see what she was bumping into. There was a large rectangular opening that lead to the kitchen in front of her, and she could see into the kitchen as clear as day. Espeon took a few steps back, and crouched low to the ground. She raised her tail and used it to balance herself. Then, after rocking forward and backward on her paws three times, she suddenly ran forward and made a flying leap right towards the entrance.

There was a loud thunk as Espeon collided with the solid obstruction. Her legs were sprawled out against the clear wall, and the left side of her face was pressed up against it. She seemed to just hang in mid air for a moment, then Espeon slowly slid downwards, her mouth leaving a trail of saliva as she came down. When she reached the ground, she pulled her face off and threw her head back, giving a loud whimpering whine. Then, she slammed her forepaws against the barrier and hung her head low.

Suddenly, the barrier swung inward, causing Espeon to fall forward on her chest with her forelegs out in front of her. A look of surprise on her face, Espeon looked to her left at the glass door that had just opened, and then she slowly turned to look up at the bowl of berries up on the ktichen table. The biggest smile spread across her face, and she gave a cheer as she jumped up onto her paws.

She immediately ran towards the table, but as she ran, her smile disappeared and turned to a look of worry as her paws began to slip wildly on the kitchen floor. Espeon's eyes widened as she tried to make a sharp left turn as she slipped towards the table. However, her hind paws skidded wildly behind her, and she spun in an awkward circle as she moved rapidly towards one of the wooden table legs. Her right side collided solidly with the table leg, knocking the wind out of her. Her mouth opened wide and she fell flat on her stomach. Her tail tense up and her right eye twitched with pain, then she narrowed her eyes and got up determinedly. Espeon then stiffly turned to one of chairs, jumped onto it, and jumped up onto the tabletop from there.

Espeon laughed gleefully as she practically pranced over to the bowl of berries. She laid on her stomach and allowed her tail to slowly wag behind her as she opened her mouth and took a bite out of a Pecha berry. She chewed it twice, and then immediately spat out a mouthful of wax. She stuck her tongue out in disgust, and then pouted at the bowl of wax berries. She stuck her nose up into the air, turned her backside to the bowl, and then knocked it off of the table with a swing of her tail.

Espeon jumped off of the table onto the kitchen floor and ran towards the door, only for her paws to slip up again and send her spinning around, her tail whipping around like crazy. She cried out as she slid into some cabinets and was knocked onto her side. She lay there for a moment, then she slowly stood up onto her paws, making sure to use her long tail to balance herself. She took a soft breath, slowly lifted up her tiny pink right forepaw, and placed it onto the kitchen floor. She pushed down with her paw and moved it around, watching carefully as it slipped around with nearly no traction. She then stood on all four paws, faced the door, and then pushed off with her front right and hind left paws to slide forwards. Espeon smiled, pleased by this, and repeated the motion with her front left and hind right paws. She slid forward as if she were on ice, looking eagerly at the green backyard ahead of her. With a gleeful chuckle, Espeon leapt forward, colliding face first with the glass door.

Espeon fell to the floor in a heap, but then jumped up with a look of sheer panic on her face. She hit her forepaws frantically against the glass, and even pushed hard against it, only to quickly give up and slide back to the ground with her back against the glass, leaning her head back and crying with grief. However, in the middle of her crying, her eyes suddenly caught sight of the door handle above her. She blinked her moist eyes at it, and then her eyes glowed blue. The door handle glowed blue as well, and Espeon turned it with Psychic, and pulled the door open fast. This sandwiched Espeon between the door and wall. The doorstop had also fallen down, which held the door in place. With a pained expression on her face, she squeezed out from behind the door. She squealed with delight when she saw that the door was open, and quickly dashed out and dived over the stone patio and towards the green grass.

A look of joy was on her face as she fell down towards the grass, but a look of surprise replaced it when she stopped suddenly in mid air and was pulled back like a bungee cord. She landed flat on her stomach on the kitchen floor, wide eyed and surprised, and the turned to see that her tail was still caught between the door and the wall. Espeon growled and ran towards the door and onto the patio. Just before the grass, Espeon felt her tail hold her back. She growled and reached out with her left forepaw, desperately trying to reach the grass. She wiggled her digits as she stared at the millimeter between her paw and the grass. Espeon let out an anguished cry, her eyes rolling back, right before her tail snapped her back again. Her paws slid across the kitchen, past the kitchen table as her tail stretched out painfully. Then, her tail snapped her forward, causing Espeon to scream as she flew through the kitchen and out the door with so much force that it overpowered the doorstop. The door swung close just as Espeon tail snapped her backwards yet again. Her back smacked into the glass, causing the whole door to vibrate, and the two tips of her forked tail to slip out from the door jamb.

Espeon's eyes were closed tightly as she gently slid down the glass and landed rump first onto the stone patio. She opened her eyes, blinked, and then glanced at her tail. She waved it a few times to make sure it was free, and then stood up and walked towards the grass with an emotionless expression on her face. When she reached the edge of the patio, she carefully raised her right forepaws and slowly brought it down towards the grass. She closed her eyes and turned away, trembling nervously, but then her eyes snapped open when she felt the soft feel of the grass under her paw. She turned to look forward, and looked down her leg, and then let out the most joyful laughter as she sprang off of the patio and started prancing and rolling around in the grass.

After a while of this, Espeon slowly got up and pushed all four paws into the grass with a contended sigh. Then, with a nod, she turned to the fence and gracefully jumped over it, returning to the nearby forest.
