Warning: The following chapter contains strong violence, language and gore"Rose. I am saddened by our losses. How many of our gems have we lost over the years?" asked Bismuth to Rose.
"We have lost a great deal of them. And their service won't be forgotten. I have a special room where we can keep the bubbles, and also I have caves to put away some of our most deadly weapons." said Rose.
"Deadly? My weapons? Oh Rose... my weapons are not deadly. They serve their purpose yes, but not in the way they are intended." said Bismuth.
"Your right. But Bismuth, we are doing all we can to stop Homeworld from taking over Earth. I know our numbers are dwindeling, but..." Rose was starting to say.
"Rose, we are losing. We have to admit it. The Diamonds are getting much done in their soldier productions. We fight a ton of wicked Topaz soldiers, Aquamarines, Lapises, Amethysts and Agathes. They are getting bigger and stronger. We poof them away, and then they come back. I have fought the same Topaz soldier at least ten times already. While we are going easy on them, they shatter our friends and family." said Bismuth.
"Yes. I know." said Rose sadly as she looked down on the magma of the volcanic fortress.
"It is time for a change Rose. A drastic one. We need to shatter them back." said Bismuth.
"Oh?" asked Rose as Bismuth grabbed something from a chest and presented it to Rose.
"Behold the Breaking Point. This powerful weapon you see before you will not only poof away our enemies in one hit, but it can also do this." said Bismuth as she put a rock on a pedestal and then she used the Breaking Point to smash it to pieces.
"This will shatter both a lowly gem, a soldier gem, and even the Diamonds. We will be unstobbable!" said Bismuth proudly.
"No... are you out of your mind Bismuth!? We cannot do that!" cried Rose.
"Why? Do you not see what the Homeworld gems do? They force Gems to fuse to create weapons! Weapons! Not love! Weapons and power! Fusion is the connection of love and unity between two gems. What you and I both see in many of the hidden fortresses that were created by homeworld, is monstrous! Gems that are forced to fuse is a form of rape!" cried Bismuth.
"I understand that Bismuth. I hate that too! I want to stop it... but killing another Gem..." Rose was saying.
"Homeworld does not care! Rose, they kill other gems, and force gems to fuse, like I just mentioned! They are evil Rose! Evil! We have to destroy it for the sake of Earth! Or what? You want them to come here and wipe away all life and make this planet another lifeless one like the ones before it?! What's wrong with you Rose!?" cried Bismuth.
"This is wrong! You can't do that! It's not right!" cried Rose.
"Are you even listening to yourself Rose?! Homeworld doesn't care for us! They will shatter us the moment they see us! We have to fight back!" cried Bismuth.
"NO! I DON"T WANT THIS!" cried Rose.
Bismuth as taken aback and Rose drew her sword at Bismuth.
"What are you doing? Why are you..." Bismuth was shocked. Rose with raising her sword against her!
"I'm sorry Bismuth. But I can't have you shatter anyone." she said. Bismuth quickly defended herself with a strong spear as Rose dove in on the attack.
"What is wrong with you! I'm only trying to help everyone! Our friends and family are dying out there!" she cried. But Rose didn't pay attention. Instead, she swung her sword like a maniac and struck Bismuth, poofing her into her gem.
After this was finished, Rose let out a sigh of relief. She looked up at the sky and whispered to herself. "I'm sorry."
Rose used the warp pad that took her to Africa and she found her Pink Lion, resting nearby. It had already feasted on a dead Zebra. It's carcass reeked of rot and blood and Rose somehow felt teribbly dirty. She knew what it was. She had poofed a friend. An ally who was willing to help everyone. But Rose... she poofed her. Rose quickly lied to herself.
"It's for everyone. Life is precious. Life is precious." she told herself.
The lion looked up at her and it looked as if it knew what Rose was thinking. Rose shook hear head and entered Lion's mane. Since Lion was an extension of her power, Rose was able to travel in any living thing that was touched by Rose's healing powers. She went into the open meadow of pink fur or grass, whatever it was and she found a secluded area under a tree. There, Rose placed the bubble containing Bismuth's gem stone.
"One day. I'll release you. One day... or not?" said Rose looking at the bubble. She shook her head and began to scream.
The Diamonds, Yellow and Blue felt something in their hearts.
"Did you hear that?" asked Blue.
"What?" asked Yellow.
"I heard a scream. A peculiar one... what could it be?" asked Blue.
"Perhaps one of our soldiers in the medical bay?" said Yellow.
"It could be." said Blue.
"Don't be paranoid. Not while I'm thinking." said Yellow.
"Are we really going to do this? Are you sure?" asked Blue.
"Yes. I'm sure. Rose Quartz must pay for her crimes against us." said Yellow tightning her fist.
