Kyandi: Greetings, my lovelies!
Takina: Truth time?
Kyandi: Truth time. I actually had this chapter done last night, but it was four in the morning and I was tired.
Takina: So you're getting it now.
Kyandi: I can't believe the amount of muse I've had for this story, and you guys' reviews are giving me motivation to make it through this isolation.
Takina: Else wise she would be losing her mind, talking to herself. Oh, wait...
Kyandi: Shut it! All the great minds talk to themselves.
Takina: And who told you that? The ghost of Issac Newton?
Kyandi: I can't believe I'm getting hackled by my own imagination.
Takina: It happens all the time.
Kyandi: Yeah, well, I'm ending it. Everyone, please enjoy and review!
Takina: Kyandi-sama does not own Assassination Classroom.
Kyandi: Oh! Also, a bit of a warning for any of you guys reading...you're going to experience a little sympathy pain in this chapter. Just warning you.
Chapter 18 Dancing Queen
"I can't...I definitely can't walk in front."
As much as she wanted to feel sorry, Takina was barely containing her laughter.
After leaving Clip behind, they had made their way to the sixth floor, which was the first of two floors devote solely to dance clubs. In order get past that floor, they had to have someone enter the club and open the door closest to the stairs, from the inside. While security would crack down on a group of guys walking through the club, the girls had a higher chance of going unnoticed. That being said, Karasuma had been against the girls going in alone.
Hence why Nagisa currently stood among the girls, dressed in a dress that Karma had found.
Takina really wished she could feel sorry for the guy, but it was taking all she had just to keep her expression blank. It was just so hard when Nagisa actually looked like a girl dressed in the outfit.
"You look too natural. You don't look like a pure maiden." Hayami told Nagisa.
"I don't want to look like one!" Nagisa retorted.
"Maiden? Rinka, no one says those kinds of things anymore." Takina told the other girl.
Nagisa waved that off. He had more pressing thoughts on his mind.
"Where did you get these clothes from?" he demanded.
"Someone left them by the poolside." one of the girls replied.
"Huh, sounds like someone went skinny dipping." Takina remarked.
"Ha-ah, I can't take it anymore. I wanna get away from this filthy place already." Fuwa said, though she had a smile on her face and her cheeks had flushed.
"You say that, but you look like you're having a lot of fun, Fuwa!" Nagisa retorted.
Takina could only imagine what was going through Fuwa's head, and she had a feeling that she didn't want any kind of confirmation. She was just thinking this when a guy suddenly approached them, laying a hand on Nagisa's shoulder.
"Hey, where are you guys from? Wanna have a drink with me over there? I have money, so I'll pay for whatever you guys want." he offered, though his eyes were fixed on Nagisa.
The girls shared a look before Kataoka pushed Nagisa towards the guy.
"Alright, Nagisa, go keep him company!" she told him When Nagisa freaked out, she lowered her voice where only he could hear her. "If it's you, you'll be alright by yourself, right? We'll call you when we finish preparing for the plan."
Feeling abandoned, Nagisa was left behind as the girls continued on. Takina glanced back as they made their way through the club.
"You think he'll be fine?" she asked.
"He should be. Hopefully we'll get this done quickly." Kataoka replied.
Takina opened her mouth to say something when someone suddenly draped an arm around her shoulders. It took every ounce of control she had not to instantly flip the guy over her shoulder. The other girls came to a stop as Takina looked up at the guy the arm belonged to. Some sleazy looking guy, his friends behind him, stood at her side, grinning down at her.
Takina was one hundred percent certain that he was looking down her top.
"Yo, ladies. Just you girls? Why don't you guys hang with us tonight?' the guy asked.
Takina turned a look on the other girls that begged them to get the guy off her before she hurt him.
"You know, let me tell you something..." Kataoka started, but Yada cut her off, giving her a wink.
Yada stepped forward, giving the guys a smile while Takina raised an eyebrow at her.
"You guys look pretty cool, and we wanna hang out, but we're out with our daddies tonight. My daddy's kinda scary, so you should forget about it." Yada said, flipping a pin in her hand.
"If your daddy's so scary, we'll just do some light partying." one of the guys said.
"Then, should I introduce you to Daddy?" Yada asked, showing off the pin in her hand.
The guys instantly recognized the emblem on the pin as one that belonged to a yakuza family, and quickly made their exit. Takina dusted off her shoulder as they beat a hasty retreat.
"You alright, Takina?" Kataoka asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Takina replied, turning her attention to Yada. "Toka, where'd you get a yakuza pin from?"
Yada explained to them how she had come to have the pin in her possession.
"So you borrowed this from Bitch-sensei." Kayano remarked.
"She's amazing, that one. Yakuza, attorney, racehorse owner...she says they come in handy during jobs. She keeps all sorts of badges." Yada replied.
"Oh yeah. You're the most enthusiastic one when it comes to listening to them, huh, Yada?" Kayano remarked. "Stories about Bitch-sensei's jobs I mean."
"Yeah. Not that I want to use seduction to accomplish things, but, Korosensei mentioned it too. To "carry a second blade". Skill for entertaining and negotiating...don't you think that these would be the ultimate blades when going out into society?" Yada replied.
"Yada, you're so cool. You're such an adult." Fuwa said.
"Umm...I think I'm falling for you, even though you have big boobs." Kayano remarked.
"How about we cut back on the boob-hating." Takina told Kayano, giving her head a pat. "We can't help that ours are bigger any more than you can help that your's are smaller."
Kayano pouted, but, seeing her point, didn't say anything else. They finally reached the edge of the room, peering around the corner to where guards stood in front of the door they needed to get to.
"You guys, we made it all the way inside, but looks like this is the hard part after all." Kataoka told them, Takina leaning around her to see.
"What should we do?" Takina asked.
"Depending on the situation, we really might need a guy's help. Kayano, go call Nagisa." Kataoka replied.
Kayano took off to go find Nagisa while the other girls continued to survey the issue before them.
"Our objective it to open that door and let the guys in, but with that guard right there, we can't even get to the stairs, let alone the door." Takina remarked.
"We need to do something about that guard. Maybe we can send out a decoy and slip through." Okano suggested.
"I want to avoid any kind of forced entry. He's a hotel employee, so if we took him out, we'd be caught right away." Hayami countered.
"And if we use one of us as a decoy to lure him away, then we would have to leave someone behind. I don't think that's a good idea given where we are." Takina added, the girls agreeing with her. "If only we had someone else that could play decoy."
Kayano and Nagisa returned then, but right behind them came the guy, Yuuji, who had been hitting on Nagisa.
"H-hey, girls, hold on a sec. This is a major service. I'll show you my specialty dance." he told them, instantly starting a dance that made Takina want to cringe.
"Did he say service? More like disservice." Takina remarked lowly.
The only good part about the whole thing, was when Yuuji bumped into a big, scary looking man, spilling his drink all over him. The man was furious, demanding that Yuuji pay him for the jacket. Getting the great idea to use this to their advantage, Okano stepped in, landing a solid kick to the man's face, rendering him unconscious.
Kataoka, Hayami, and Takina caught the man as he fell to the floor, Yuuji staring at them with his jaw hanging. He watched, speechless as the girls moved the man to the door way and Yada alerted the guard that the man was unconscious.
"Excuse me, employee. Looks like this person passed out. Please carry him out." Yada requested.
The guard instantly went to the man, heaving him up on his shoulders to carry him out the other side of the club, leaving the door unguarded. As Yada requested Yuuji keep the whole thing a secret, the rest of the girls hurried on by. They managed to get the door open, while Nagisa said a few last words to Yuuji, and let the boys in.
"You got us in through a dangerous area. Did you have any trouble?" Korosensei asked.
"I think we were pretty good. Right, girls?" Takina asked, looking over her shoulder, the other girls agreeing with her.
"What's wrong, Nagisa?" Kayano asked as Nagisa took back his clothes.
"Nothing. Well, the girls ended up doing all the work this time. What was the point of me dressing up like this?" Nagisa asked.
"Because it would be funny, obviously." Karma replied, snapping a few pictures of Nagisa still in the girl clothes.
Embarrassed beyond belief, Nagisa went and changed as quickly as he could, returning with the girl clothes in hand.
"Oh? You're so quick to change, Nagisa. You should have just gone on like that. There are a lot of instances of assassins dressing up as women in history books." Isogai said, giving Nagisa a wink.
"N-not you too, Isogai!" Nagisa snapped.
"Nagisa, if you want to get rid of it, the earlier the better." Karma remarked, pointing down towards Nagisa's groin.
"I'm not getting rid of it! I'm keeping it!" Nagisa snapped back.
"Can you guys save that for later?" Karasuma insisted.
"He has a point. The next floor is another club floor and according to the security map Ritsu gave us, this one is going to be more difficult than the last." Takina pointed out, peering down at her phone.
When they reached the top of the stairs, they inched down the short hall to peer around the corner. The room beyond, was another dance club, like the floor below, though a majority of the people in this club, were adults verses the teenagers that had dominated the club below. Scantly clad women, and blinged out men crowded the dance floor as bodies swayed and rocked to the music that pulsed through the room.
"For this floor, to open the door, we'll need the three cards keys held by the guards stationed around the dance floor." Ritsu told them.
They scanned the dance floor, their eyes finally landing on the three uniformed guards across the dance floor that would hold the three card keys to get through the next door. With how crowded the dance floor was, there would be no way to get to the guards without blowing their cover, let alone get the keys. Someone would notice the moment they focused on the guards long enough to snag the card keys.
Takina leaned around the corner, her eyes scanning the room beyond as most of the others drew back behind the corner. She took a moment to take in the guards' positions, to located the card keys where they hung around their necks, clipped to the end of lanyards.
"What are we going to do?" Kayano asked from behind her.
Even Karasuma was short on any ideas. None of the students were pickpockets, none of them trained in the stealth it would take to get the card keys, and it wasn't like they could attack the guards and take the card keys. He didn't have long to ponder on it, though.
"Leave this to me."
All eyes turned to Takina as she shrugged out of her leather jacket, revealing the top beneath. With how much skin the low back, low neck lined halter top revealed, one would think she would be self-conscious. But not Takina.
"What are you talking about, Itamatsu?" Karasuma demanded as Takina handed her jacket over to Kayano.
"I'm telling you to leave this to me, Karasuma-sensei. I'll get the keys." Takina told him, turning to head around the corner.
"Are you kidding!?" Karasuma demanded.
Takina half turned, looking over her shoulder at him. She gave him a reassuring smile, but her eyes had turned to the neon green that marked that she was completely serious.
"Don't fret. Misdirection is my forte, remember? I'll get the keys and meet all of you at the door. All without them knowing. Just...trust me, okay?"
With that said, Takina turned and slipped around the corner, her classmates getting a peak at something at the base of her nape before she pulled her hair out of its ponytail, letting the long, white mass tumble around her. The others leaned around the corner, watching Takina as she approached the dance floor, fluffing out her white hair as she walked. At first, there was no real change in how she walked normally, but the moment her feet touched the edge of the dance floor, that changed.
The moment she slipped in among the crowd of swaying bodies on the dance floor, Takina's normal swagger shifted into something far more seductive and sensual. Before their eyes, the normally serious and somewhat restrained Takina, turned into a free spirit dancer whose hips swayed and twisted in perfect harmony with the beat of the music. It wasn't long before those on the dance floor begun to take notice of her, clearing the way as Takina shifted herself into a full out dance mode.
"Damn. She can really work it. Who knew." Yoshida remarked as they watched Takina draw in and dismiss several men as if it was something she did everyday.
"I've never seen her move anything like that before." Isogai added, all of them shocked as they stared.
Even Karma was shocked. After Nagisa, he was the one that spent the most time with Takina and he had never known she was a dancer, let alone this good of one. Watching her, one couldn't help but have their eyes drawn to way her hips swayed, completely oblivious to what the hands were doing.
Takina was careful not to single out the guards, drawing the eyes of all the men around her, to her body as she moved. Even women were stopping to watch her in fascination. They watched as she finally made her way to the first guard, turning to barely brush her backside past him. The man's eyes instantly locked on Takina's hips. Takina smiled at him over her shoulder before twisting away from him, one hand barely brushing across his chest before she moved on.
A few of the men she passed had to touch, Takina jolting once as one man actually grabbed her butt as she pass, but she continued on as if nothing had happened. She moved on, giving the second guard the same brief attention as she had every man she passed, and finally reaching the last guard, doing the same before dancing way. Just as the song ended, she ended up in the middle of the dance floor, bowing to the crowd who had been completely transfixed by her.
Instantly, several converged on her, asking for a dance. While Takina warded off the attempts, claiming that her father was calling for her, she gave her classmates a quick hand signal to move on to the door. With Karasuma's urging, they moved on to the door. A few minutes later, Takina appeared around the corner, flicking her hair over her shoulder.
Once again, she was back to her resigned, serious self as she quickly approached them.
"Here." Takina said, slapping the three card keys into Karasuma's hand. The others stared at her in surprise. They hadn't seen her go anywhere near the card keys save for a brief brush of her hand across the men's chests. Their looks must have spoken volumes for Takina simply shrugged her shoulders. "What? Misdirection mixed with slight of hand...it makes picking pockets so much easier. Add in the fact that they were too busy feeling me up to realize what I was doing...piece of cake."
"You make it sound like it's no big deal that grown men got handsy with you." Fuwa remarked.
"Yeah! We saw one of them grab your butt!" Fuwa added.
All she got was another shrug from Takina as she pulled her hair back up into it's ponytail.
"Yeah, well...it's not the first time and I highly doubt it'll be the last. Growing up around the associates my father had, you learn to put up with a lot or kick someone's ass in. In this case, I couldn't do the latter." Takina replied, turning to take her jacket from Kayano.
"Have I mentioned how much I dislike the sound of your dad?" Yada asked.
"In his defense, he never knew about it. I'm not the type to squeal when I can handle the situation myself." Takina replied, thanking Kayano for holding her jacket.
It was as she pulled her ponytail over her shoulder to pull on the jacket, that they got a clear look at something they had only glimpsed earlier. There, at the base of Takina's nape, was a tattoo. It was about the size of a person's palm and was the image of a crown wrapped in a chain with the letters "TS" imposed in the crown's side. Kayano hadn't noticed it when she had helped Takina zip up her wet suit, but, then again, Takina's hands had been over her nape, holding her hair out of the way and hiding the thing from view.
"Is that...a tattoo?!" some of the others exclaimed.
Stiffening like she had forgotten she had the tattoo, Takina quickly pulled her jacket on, covering the mark from their prying eyes.
"Are you even old enough to get a tattoo?!" Kayano demanded.
"Legally? Not even in my home country." Takina admitted, heading for the stairs. "Surprisingly, tattoos are the one thing my father doesn't care about. It was him who paid for it. And besides...it's not the only one I have."
Leaving them hanging and not bothering to tell them where or what the other tattoo was, Takina walked away. Many of her classmate followed after her, badgering her about the tattoos, and the meaning of the one on her back, but Takina waved it all off. From Nagisa's grip as the boy stood back, Korosensei coudln't help but think...the symbol looked familiar.
As they headed up the stairs to the next floor, which started the VIP floors, some of the students continued to bug Takina, who finally heaved a sigh.
"Can we please drop the subject? It's just a tattoo. I didn't even have a choice with it." Takina told them.
"What do you mean, didn't have a choice?" Isogai asked, looking back at her.
"It was my father's choice. Some kind of rite of passage bull crap." Takina replied, waving it off. "It doesn't matter. We have other things to worry about, right now."
Knowing she had a point, they were forced to drop the subject as they reached the top of the stairs. Peering around the corner, they found guards patrolling the hallway.
"This is the last leg of our infiltration. Ritsu." Karasuma called.
"Yes. From here on out, it's the VIP floor. In addition to the hotel's security, it seems that the guests' own personal guards are placed on watch." Ritsu told them.
"Those are big boys." Takina remarked, peering around the corner at the two muscled men guarding the way to the next set of stairs.
"They look crazy strong." Sugaya agreed with her.
"Are they with the guy who's terrorizing us? Or do they work for someone that's completely unrelated?" Yada asked.
"Regardless of which it is, they're blocking our way and, more than likely, aren't going to willing let us through." Takina replied.
"Which mean that, either way, it doesn't matter. It doesn't change the fact that we need to take 'em out to get through." Terasaka declared, cracking his knuckles.
"You are correct, Terasaka. And in order to defeat them, it would be most appropriate to use the weapon you are carrying, wouldn't it?" Korosensei remarked.
Terasaka clicked his tongue in annoyance as he heaved his bag off his shoulder.
"Do you have x-ray vision or something?" he demanded as he unzipped the bag.
"Can you do it? Unless you take them both out at once, they'll call for help." Karasuma whispered.
"Just leave it to me. Hey, Kimura." Terasaka said, turning to the other boy. "If it's just you, they won't think of you as an enemy right away. Go lure them over here."
"Me? How?" Kimura demanded.
"Don't ask me. Say something to piss 'em off." Terasaka suggested.
Kimura didn't have the slightest clue where to start or what to say. Karma, though, gave him the perfect bait to use. While Karma coached Kimura on what to say, Terasaka turned to Takina.
"Hey, Itamatsu." Takina looked down at him. "You're the best as tagging a moving target with a knife and all, but do you think you can take down one of those meatheads and hit them with this?"
Terasaka held the weapon from his bag out to Takina. He watched as one of her eyebrows flew up, the girl taking the thing from him. As her eyes raked over the weapon now in her hands, one side of her mouth twisted up in a half smirk.
"Yeah, I think I can manage." she replied.
"Good. You'll take one and I'll take the other." Terasaka told her.
"Got it." Takina replied, looking just a little too happy to be taking part.
With them waiting and ready, Kimura, nervous as he could be, headed out into the hall, stopping when the two men looked up at him, asking what he wanted. Swallowing, Kimura said what Karma told him to say.
"Wait a sec, are there any brains around here? These guys are just pure muscle, right down to the inside of their heads. You shouldn't pretend to be people, you meatheads." Kimura said, turning to walk away.
For a moment, neither of the men reacted, and, in the next moment, they were hot on Kimura's heels as the boy ran away from them. Terasaka and Takina waited, just around the corner, Kimura darting past them like a bolt.
"Alright, now, Itamatsu!" Terasaka yelled, both of them darting out of the hall.
While Terasaka hit his guy hard in the gut, knocking the air out of him as he took him down, Takina went lower, side swiping the man's knees to send him toppling. Twisting, Takina grabbed him by his shirt front and yanked him down, instantly jumping on top of him to drive a knee into his gut while using the stun gun that Terasaka had supplied her with, to tag a particularly sensitive area of the man's body.
Everyone winced, the boys staring in wide horror as the man twitched and passed out from the current of electricity directly to a vulnerable area. Even Terasaka, who had just tagged his own guy, stared at Takina in horror as she sat on the man's chest like he was her throne.
"What is wrong with you?!" Terasaka demanded.
"What? I might have gotten him through clothes, but it still worked." Takina replied.
"But did you have to tag him in the junk?!" Terasaka demanded.
"Look, I just got groped in order to get us up here. I deserve to let off a little steam. Besides, by this point, you should be well aware of my nature. I hang out with Akabane, for crying out loud. You should have thought that through before you gave this thing to me." Takina told him as she twirled the stun gun in her grasp. "After all, I'm a little girl against a big, muscled man. You're fooling yourself if you think I won't take the low blow to save myself."
Sometimes, it was just plan scary what Takina could say and do with a straight face. That she had gone for the crotch shot without a moment's hesitation, at least had her male classmates a little more wary of going near her. Though, they were just grateful that she hadn't done something like that while sparring with any of them during training.
That being said...
"She wanted to say something earlier about the poor woman that marries Karma? I fear more for the poor guy that marries her." Sugaya remarked, the others agreeing.
Nagisa smiled sheepishly, turning his attention, and the conversation at hand, to Terasaka.
"But, stun guns?" Nagisa asked.
"I bought these to test them out on the octopus. I didn't think I'd debut them like this, though." Terasaka replied.
"You...bought them? Weren't they expensive?" Kataoka asked.
"Mmm...let's just say I came across some money recently." Terasaka replied.
"Had to be quite a bit to afford two of these." Takina remarked, holding hers out to Terasaka.
"Something like that." he replied, taking it.
"That's a nice weapon, Terasaka. But try searching under their breast pockets." Korosensei suggested.
Terasaka and Takina shared a look before they went digging in the men's pockets. What they found were two real guns with live rounds.
"Judging from the bulges, you should find even better weapons. Furthermore, Chiba, Hayami. You two will hold onto those guns." Korosensei said, Chiba and Hayami looking uncertain. "Karasuma-sensei has not recovered enough yet to fire accurate shots. Currently, the ones most capable of putting those to use are you two."
"E-even if you say that, this is so sudden." Chiba said.
"However! Your teacher will not allow killing." Korosensei said, over riding Chiba. "Using your skills, there should be any number of ways to defeat your enemies without harming them."
"Someone just take this thing from me. I hate guns." Takina said, holding out the gun like it was something disgusting.
Hayami took the gun as Terasaka handed the one he was holding over to Chiba. Takina wrinkled her nose at the gun as Hayami took it. She really did hate guns. With the guns now in Chiba and Hayami's hands, Korosensei insisted they move on.
"Judging from the state of the hotel, it doesn't seem as though the enemy has large numbers at each position. There should only be one or two remaining hitmen at best!" Korosensei told them.
"Yeah! Let's hurry up and beat the shit outta them!" Terasaka declared. "I wonder what kinds face he's making right now. The guy who set up this whole shitty plan!"
Takina couldn't even begin to guess, but she was ready for this to be over. They still had the concert hall to pass through before they could reach the stairs to the ninth floor. When they reached the concert hall, everyone hid among the seats, settling down just before a third hitman, Gastro, entered the room to stand on the stage, bright lights shining from behind him.
"...Fifteen? No, sixteen? The breathing sounds young, too. It mostly sounds like mid-teens. I'm surprised. So everyone who could move busted in here, huh?" Gastro called out to them.
Takina, from where she was ducked behind a seat, shifted to peer between seats as Gastro shot out one of the light behind him.
"I'll tell you this. This hall is completely soundproof, and this gun is real. That means no one's coming to save you guys before I shoot everyone dead. You guys aren't prepared to kill, right?! Just surrender quietly and go grovel in front of the boss!" Gastro yelled.
He was taken by surprise when Hayami, trying to shoot the gun out of his hand, missed, the bullet flying right past his head to take out another light behind him. It only took the sound of the gun for Gastro to know that it was live rounds and that it was the M60s they had taken from the two men.
Takina was forced to duck back behind her seat as Gastro turned on more lights, the light so bright, it blinded her for a moment.
"I feel good today. My gun is delicious!" Gastro declared, aiming a shot that barely missed hitting Hayami as she peered between the seats. "I never forget the location of an enemy who has fired a shot. You won't be able to take a singe step from where you are. The two hitmen guarding the lower areas are assassins, but I'm different. I'm a military man. I'm no stranger to being outnumbered like this. Through my numerous experiences, I've developed a method of grasping the location of my enemies, and I've learned to get a feel for the conditions of their guns from their taste. You juniors are way too early to take me on. Now then, there should be one other stolen gun."
Gastro's words had effectively put the students on edge. Especially Hayami and Chiba.
"Hayami, continue to remain on standby!" came Korosensei's voice then. "It was wise of you not to fire right now, Chiba. The enemy has not yet determined your location! Sensei will command everyone while watching the enemy, so let us wait for the right moment!
Hearing the voice, Gastro tried to pinpoint the person talking and found Korosensei, his orb form propped up in a seat in the front row. Gastro tried shooting him, but the bullets mere bounced off.
"It's useless. This is the true definition of being invincible. A skilled marksman is being challenged by middle school students. Wouldn't a visual handicap of this level be acceptable?" Korosensei asked.
"Tch. What sort of commands are you planning on giving in that state?" Gastro demanded as he reloaded his gun.
"Well then, Kimura. Dash five rows to your left! Terasaka and Yoshida, move three rows to your left and right respectively." Korosensei yelled, the moving students making Gastro's head whip around. "A blind spot! Kayano, use this opening to move two rows forward! Karma, Fuwa, move eight rows to the right simultaneously! Isogai, five rows to the left! There's another blind spot! Takina four rows forward!"
Gastro's head swung back in forth, catching glimpse of the students as they moved according to their teacher's commands. While Korosensei was trying to make it confusing, Gastro was confident in the fact that as Korosensei commanded them, it was just letting him know the name and location of each of the students.
But then Korosensei mixed it up.
"Seat number twelve! Move one row to your right and continue your preparations while on standby! Seat number four and six, record the target from the between the seats! Relay the state of the stage to Chiba through Ritsu! Ponytail, advance to the front left! Bike Lover, move two rows to the front left as well! The person who recently went to a maid cafe because of a growing interest due to Takebayashi's recommendation, then grew fearful that he may become addicted to it, make a lot of noise to create a distraction!"
Takina fought back a smile as Terasaka went crazy from his hiding place, banging on the seat and screaming at the top of his lungs.
"White Hair, move six rows to your left and one row back and prepare the object you constantly keep hidden in the back of your belt! Remember sensei's rule!" Korosensei called out.
Takina hesitated only for a moment before she moved, silently wondering how he had known about what was hidden under her clothes.
Gastro didn't like the sounds of that and tried to track whoever it was that Korosensei had called, but with everyone moving in one go, he had no idea which student it was. Slowly, the students were drawing closer, weaving through his blind spots. He knew he would be in trouble if he didn't find Chiba and this White Hair.
"Now then, it's about time for your assault, Chiba. After sensei's next instruction, fire at your own will. After that, Hayami, you will follow suit. Your objective is to seal the enemy's movements. However, before that. I have some advice for you two emotionless workaholics. You two are extremely nervous right now, correct? After your shots missed me, both of you have developed some doubts in your own abilities. For you two, who never give any excuses or complaints..."If it's them, they can probably handle it.". I'm sure people have began to rely on both of you. And even if you are distressed, I'm sure you would never show anyone." Korosensei called out. "But it's alright. There is no need for you two to embrace the pressure on your own. If you two miss, we can just shuffle the guns and everyone here. And then change to a strategy where anyone from the class can shoot. Everyone here has experienced training and failure, so they are all capable of carrying out this strategy."
If nothing else, but shuffling the guns, it would give Hayami and Chiba time to decompress and reset. Though, Takina didn't think they would need to do that. She had a feeling that Korosensei's words would be just the medicine to cure Hayami and Chiba of their nerves.
"By your side, you have fellow companions who have experienced the same things you have. Be at ease and pull the trigger." Korosensei told them.
Gastro, though, only smirked to himself. In the time that Korosensei had been talking, it had given him the time to pinpoint the one student had hadn't moved. The one that, he was sure, was Chiba. He was waiting when Korosensei gave his next orders.
"Now then, let us begin. Seat number twelve! Stand and shoot!" Korosensei yelled.
Gastro zeroed in on the figure that suddenly rose from the seat, shooting it dead center between the eyes...only to find out that it was doll put together by Sugaya. In his shock, Gastro froze for a moment.
"Now, Takina!" Korosensei called.
Gastro whipped around, a glint of something coming at him from the side of his vision, forcing him to turn towards the center. White hair flew as Takina popped up from behind a seat, her arm already lashing out. Cursing to himself, Gastro ducked to the left to avoid the razor sharp knife that went flying past him to bury itself deep into the wall behind him. Takina dropped instantly, her job of distracting Gastro to give Chiba a moment, finished.
Chiba took the open given to him by Takina, to take his shot. The shot missed Gastro and, thinking it had missed it's intended target, Gastro laughed and raised his gun.
Only to be side swiped by the downward swing of a set of lights that had just been shot down.
Cursing himself for not seeing what the true target was, Gastro aimed his gun for Chiba. Before he could pull the trigger, Hayami took her shot, shooting the gun out of Gastro's hand. Gastro, now disarmed, hit the stage floor and Terasaka and the boys instantly jumped him, taping him up. Takina came out of her hiding spot and headed for the stage. She climbed up on the stage and headed for the back wall where she pulled a rather wicked looking hunting knife from the wall.
"Is that a real knife?!" Kayano asked, spotting the thing in Takina's hand.
"It is." Takina confirmed, settling it in her left hand.
Her classmates could of sworn that Takina was right handed. After all, when she handled a gun in training, it was always with her right hand. None of them could question her as Korosensei spoke up.
"Young lady, what have I said about real knives?" Korosensei demanded as he and Karasuma joined the students on the stage.
"Don't start. I carried this thing far before I ever joined this class. My father made me start carrying it when I was five. It's like another limb to me by now. Speaking of the knife, though...how'd you know I carry it under my clothes, Korosensei?" Takina demanded, fixing her eyes on the orb.
"Uh, well...Sensei should be the one questioning you, not the other way around!" Korosensei retorted.
"Uh-huh. Don't think I'll let this go, Korosensei. Once you're back in your normal form, we're going to find out just how fast I can strike with an anti-Korosensei knife." Takina promised him as she lifted the back of her jacket and shirt to return her knife to the sheath barely sticking up out of the back of her shorts.
Korosensei groaned because he knew...Takina would keep her promise.
END
Kyandi: And there's another hint towards Takina's past for you all.
Takina; You made it sound like my father branded me as property!
Kyandi: Well...
Takina: Stop! I don't want to hear it.
Kyandi: Paybacks suck.
Takina: Can we move on? You already made me sound like a professional stripper.
Kyandi: You don't have to be a stripper to be good at dancing in that manner! You just know how to move your body.
Takina: Yeah, that doesn't make it any better.
Kyandi: Oh, fine. Everyone, enjoy and review.
Takina: We'll return as soon as possible.
Kyandi: Bye-bye!
