Josie headed into work on her first night back she did okay at first.

"Josie I just wanna say I'm sorry about everything that happened." Hector said when he and his crew came in.

"It's fine. Thanks."

Gage came up for a beer. "Are you okay? I saw them pull you out of that hole and I really thought you were gone."

"Um, I'm okay thanks. I really just don't wanna think about it."

"Sorry."

Josie gave a half smile and then as a few other people came up to say sorry she started looking around and saw eyes looking at her. They would look and talk back and forth. Danny was checking someone out when he saw her grab the bar for support. The room started to spin and her breathing picked up.

"Are you okay Jo?"

Her knees gave out and he caught her before she hit the ground. Hector dialed Dom.

"Jo look at me." She looked at him. "You need to slow down your breathing. You're having a panic attack."

Dom picked up Hector's call.

"Yeah Hector what's up?"

"I'm at the bar, Josie just went down. Danny had to catch her."

"I'm on my way." Dom looked at Mia. "Can you take me to the bar ,something happened with Jo?"

"Of course."

Danny had her sitting in the back with a glass of water. She got her breathing to slow down and she was calming down. Dom came in and Hector pointed to the back. He walked back to the bar.

"Danny?"

"Come on back Dom."

Dom went back and saw Josie. She looked pale. "Are you okay babe?"

"No. I just saw everyone staring at me and talking and saying sorry about what happened. It was too much. I don't think I can do this yet."

Danny stood up. "That's fine. If you want to take off for a while. Get better. You ever wanna come back, your job will be here."

"Thanks Danny."

Dom grabbed her things and they walked out the back.

"Where's your car?"

"Mia brought me."

He got her keys out of her bag and they headed home.

"I'm sorry I freaked out."

"Don't be sorry. I told you, you don't need to go back."

"I just wanted something normal."

"Give it time babe. It'll get there."

When they got to the house Dom got her inside.

"Do you think you'll be okay for a little while? I was helping Brian."

"Yeah I'm okay."

"You sure. I can stay here."

"Go on. I'll call if I need you."

He felt guilty leaving her.

"Go. It's fine." She said.

Dom wanted to kiss her but he wasn't sure if it was okay or not.

"Love you."

"Love you too."

He left and she closed and locked the door. She went back to the bedroom and folded some laundry before she laid down on the bed. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

He grabbed her by the arms and pinned her down. As he forcefully entered her she turned to see Dom's face. She yelled out for him to help and he did nothing. She begged him and still did nothing. She felt the knife in her stomach and tried to get away. Trevor stood over her stabbing her again and again.

"No one will save you now."

Josie woke up with a start as she screamed and breathed heavy. That was the first nightmare she had in awhile. She got up and went to the kitchen to make some tea. She put a hand on her stomach and she could still feel the knife cutting her. She spaced out that she didn't even hear the tea pot go off at first. She made her tea and sat at the table to drink it. She had these thoughts going through her head day to day and Sally listened but her relationship with Dom was strained and she knew that this was why.

Dom got home that evening and stood outside for a few moments. He wished that he could go back to that day he killed Trevor and kill him again. Make him suffer. He knew Josie was trying to get back to normal but he also knew she was forcing it to just be okay. He took a deep breath then walked inside.

"Hey babe I'm home."

"Hey. Do you want something to eat?"

"Nah I ate."

Josie fidgeted with her hands a bit.

"What's up?"

"Can we talk?"

"Sure." He sat on the couch and looked at her.

"I wanna tell you what happened. How I felt. How I feel."

"I'm listening."

"Then I wanna know how you felt and feel. No lies."

"Deal."

Josie sat down beside him and thought it over clearly in her head.

"He caught me off guard. I was cleaning up and for some reason he introduced himself to me, and said he was Toby's brother. I tried to pull my hand free and he hit me. I don't remember anything until he had the camera in my face talking to you. I remember thinking don't panic Dom will get you. I tried to stay calm but I didn't. I felt pain as he raped me. I felt pain and shame, and then knowing you were watching I felt myself shatter. I thought you were disgusted and you wouldn't want me anymore."

"I was heartbroken that I couldn't stop it. I was furious because it was happening and I couldn't stop it." Dom looked down at his hands.

"I know you would have if you could…. When he was finished with me I thought just kill me now and get it over with, please. I can't take this. Then I got away and ran and hid. I told myself just stay hidden until someone finds you. It didn't work. Something made a sound and he found me. When he stuck the knife in me I remember thinking this is it. The second time he raped me I was ready for it but it still hurt. I thought if he finished with me fast then it wouldn't be so bad. It was though. When he had me against the tree and he started to rape me again I thought no this isn't gonna happen." She wiped a stray tear.

"When you spit in his face and refused to say goodbye I thought that's my girl, fight back. I knew you were still in there. I hadn't lost you yet. Nate found out where you were, we searched every graveyard until we found you. I don't remember the ride there."

"When he stabbed me and threw me in the hole the only thing I could think of was getting out and to you. I'd be safe then."

Dom put his face in his hands then wiped his tears before looking at her."When we pulled you out of the hole I thought she can't be gone. Brian did CPR and didn't give up. I thought about how I let you down. I failed you. All I could think of was killing this guy and then you took a breath. All I saw then was you. You were all that mattered."

"When I woke up in the hospital I felt disgusted and ashamed. I thought you would never want me after all that. I felt broken and shattered and lost. I felt like I was in this dark place with no way out. Then you guys wanted me to be me again and I just couldn't."

"We just wanted you back baby. We just wanted to know you were there."

"It's getting easier. At first I didn't want anyone to touch me because it just made me remember the pain and his hands on me. I was afraid of being hurt again even though I know you guys would never hurt me. It's getting easier now. I have to remind myself I'm okay and safe but it's getting easier to have you touch me."

"I still feel like I left you down and this is my fault. I feel like I can't give you the help you need to get through this. Like I'm useless. I just wanna help you get through this and I don't know how."

She grabbed his hand. "You are helping. It may not seem like it but you are. Just being here helps."

"To be honest I want you back. I miss you and I miss the way we were. I just want you to be okay. I'm sorry that's wrong cause you're not broken. I just want you to heal. I don't want you to be in any more pain." He kissed her hand and she left him.

She pulled her hand free. "I want to be okay. I miss you too. I feel like we're so distant, like you're sitting beside me but so far away, and I can't get back to you. I'm trying to get there."

"I'll be waiting when you do." Dom reached for her hand again and she took it after a couple seconds. He smiled, having that connection with her. "So Trevor was Toby's brother?"

"Yeah that's what he said."

"Wow. What a family."

"I hope it hurt when you killed him."

"I broke his hand and arm first. I made it painful."

"Good."

They sat there in silence for a few before Josie moved her hand and slowly made her way to Dom's lap.

"Baby what are you doing?"

She straddled his lap and put her hands on his face while he grabbed her around the waist. "I wanna feel again Dom. I wanna know I'm not gone completely. Please."

He couldn't deny her. She pulled him in for a kiss and he wrapped his arms around her. He missed this and needed it just as much as she did. He didn't need sex with her he just needed this to know they would be okay in time. She kissed him and his tongue begged for entrance into her mouth. She left him in and Dom held her tighter. She moaned into the kiss before pulling back. She left her forehead on his and closed her eyes. Dom didn't let her go. He would never let her go.

"I missed that so much."

Josie smiled. "Me too. I want our connection back."

"You never lost it baby."

She sat down and he moved some hair out of her face. She closed her eyes and leaned into his touch. She felt like the pieces were being put back together. She felt hope.

Dom moved her so she was sitting in his lap comfortably. She leaned against him fighting the urge to run away. She was gonna make it through this and be with her husband again. She was getting her life back. They sat there and Dom just revelled in feeling her again. Having her in his arms. He wanted to pause the moment so they never had to move.

"Dom?"

"Yeah."

"I'm sorry for not letting you in sooner."

"You left me in, that's all the matters."

She snuggled her head into his neck and closed her eyes. Dom heard her breathing even out and he was gonna pick her up to take her back to the bedroom but then he'd have to let her go. That wasn't happening. He closed his eyes and went to sleep with a smile on his face.

Brian, Mia, Tej, and Rome walked into Dom and Josie's and stopped dead. Dom had Josie on his lap and both were asleep. Mia thanked god, she had been praying for this.

"Mia your faith finally came through." Rome whispered.

"I'm just glad she's coming back to us."

Brian put his arm around Mia and kissed her. They all quietly walked back out and left.
