Her Assistant
Tanjirou finishes his part two hours before sundown, apologized to Zenitsu and Inosuke for leaving them behind, and rushed to make himself presentable as quickly as possible.
"Shinobu-san, hi," he greets breathlessly when he spots her by the gate, basket in her hands. "Thank you for waiting."
She waved him off. "Hardly! You're quick, Tanjirou-kun! Eager to go on a date, are we?" She laughed when Tanjirou's face crimsoned. "Here, take this basket."
"What's it for?"
"You said you wanted to assist me, no?"
"Ah… yes?"
Shinobu presented a root with flourish. "So help me sniff out lots of these!"
