A specter slowly made its presence known as its cloak body manifested itself into reality, normally it wouldn't have bothered to appear before those gathered around it but this was a special occasion.

"I have come to offer a choice nothing more" it said tas it floated in the center of the quickly growing town.

"All of you have seen the undead march towards a place not too far from this location, the distance is short for those amongst you who wield stronger abilities." it said to everyone around it and those that couldn't see it.

"What do you want servant of death, there are no dead here for you to fary" Robute Guilliman said to the specter, his powerful voice filled with life and pride, contradicted the lingering presence of the specter, whose sand-like voice tore at the people's wills.

"Things that shouldn't happen are happening, I as well as my kin are making preparations and so I find myself being forced to offer a truths"

"There is a portal that leads to the land of the dead, I will fairy your dead to it they can do what they please on the other side, but those amongst you that still live will have to protect the portal from this side where the living rule" the specter answered the Primarch

"Leave" Robute Guilliman said to the specter

"And then what, your souls stay here where they were never meant to be. What rest will the dead have, or are you waiting for the gate leading to your father's realm to finally break and all of the dead be swept by the cursed realm" the specter said to Guilliman its voice filled with irritation.

"Leave" Robute repeated, his voice stronger than before yet he never raised it and somehow without moving he seemed to grow larger.

"What I offer you is a trade, not a one-sided dead."

"Your dead gain a place to mold and call their own, while in exchange they help protect the souls of the dead within the realm of the dead."

"Your realm of punishment and paradise would be molded and created by your standards, not ours, that is the same as everyone else" the specter explained the offer to the Primarch who just stood quietly listening to it.

"And what do you have to gain, specter for offering such a bountiful gift to us" Sanguineous asked the specter, as he quietly lowered himself from the air, despite the Primarchs massive wings, that should have made loud sounds as he beat them, the only sound was that of the Primark's voice.

"In truth nothing. Your dead poison these lands, the soul of the dead were never meant to linger in the realm of the living, at best we gain help in defending the souls of the innocent, but truth be told I simply seek to stop a problem before it occurs" the specter answered the angel

'there are no dead here for you to take specter" Rogal Dorn said his voice tearing threw the dread-filled atmosphere that had been created.

"Lies, the Eldar carry their dead within those tears and beyond that portal, billions of souls linger and are attempting to cross over"

"Can you imagine what disasters would come about if so many souls suddenly forced their way into this realm" the specter warned.

"Enlighten us" an Eldar woman said, her child at her side.

"The realm of souls could suddenly mix with the realm of the living or those that eat souls or seek to corrupt them would find themselves within this real" the specter answered the woman

Suddenly everyone present felt a chill run down their spines and their chest feel cold despite the hot sun, the specter had just warned them that if the souls of their dead managed to break passed the portal, then the warp could spill threw.

The brothers understood that this creature was simply trying to prevent that before it happened.

"We would need to see this portal that leads to the realm of the dead ourselves' Sanguineous said to the specter who didn't even wait for the Primark to finish talking

"The players known as the Black Cats rule the entrance, for now, it is them who protect the realm of the living, but the undying numbers are small and they need help" the specter said as it created blue flame.

"It will lead you to the portal, do not, disturbed the gathering dead for they are returning to the realm from where they wandered from " the specter said before floating towards the Eldar woman who ha spoken earlier.

"The same goes for you, however, these tears must be emptied within the realm of the dead, but be warned for if you stay too long you will forget from where you came from" it said before vanishing

The brothers turned to look at the portal that led to the vault, they were aware that of the spirits of the dead within it, but it never occurred to them of what would happen should all of the souls within the portal were to spill out.

They noticed several specters floating in front of the portal but none crossed it.

"They claim that there is no realm beyond the portal, that its nothing more than a tunnel connecting this world to another beyond it" Eldrad said to the brothers as he walked up to them.

"That doesn't explain why they don't simply cross" Rogal Dorn said to the ancient Eldar

"I'm afraid it does, there are two paths here each leading to different results" Eldrad began but before he could say anything as older Eldar normally would Rogal Dorn spoke.

"No games and no riddles, just say it"

"Fine, if they enter by force it would cement hostility between not just us but everyone else as well, but if we chose to work with them they can avoid the unnecessary problems that can and will occur." Eldrad answered the Primark
