Chapter 19 - The Speed Force
Sarah's P.O.V.
When I think of HR, I'm reminded of a story that Jogn Lennon once told. When Lennon was five years old, his teacher asked him to write down what he wanted to be when he grew up. Lennon wrote, Happy'. His teacher said he didn't understand the assignment, and Lennon said that they didn't understand life. HR understood life. He wasn't a genius, and he didn't have super speed. But when we needed him the most, he was our hero. He was Sarah's hero."
It was HR's funeral and we all were there. Cisco puts HR drum sticks on his headstone while Julian knelled in front of his coffin.
Thanks for believing in me, HR." Wally said
I looked over and saw Caitlin standing by a tree, Cisco, Barry, Julian and I walked over to her.
Well, well, well. At least you're not shopping at Villians 'R' Us anymore." Cisco commented.
I'm sorry about HR." Caitlin apologies
I'm sure he would have appreciated you coming." I told her
Why did you come?" Julian asked her
I don't know" Caitlin said
Maybe you wanted to come home." Cisco suggested.
I don't have a home." Caitlin stated
Yes, you do, Caitlin. You do. With your friends. and your Sister. With me." Julian said before Caitlin passed her cure over to him
I'm sorry, Julian. I'm not Caitlin anymore." Caitlin frowned
You're not Killer Frost." Barry said as Caitlin shook her head.
No, I'm not. I'm something else. And I need to figure out what that is. On my own." Caitlin said before leaving us.

After the funeral Barry and I went back home and sat on the couch and started laughing.
Stop." I told him
It's not funny. Why are we laughing?" Bary asked as we continued laughing.
We shouldn't be laughing. Today, of all days." I smiled towards Barry
I think HR would have pproved. Are you okay? I mean... With what you did." Barry asked me, making me sigh.
I'm sure one day, it'll hit me... in the future which I have again and with you." I said as I smiled as and grabbed Barry's hand.
We have. Everyday of it." Barry said before I sung the song that Barry proposed to me. " I think we have the sog picked out for the dance at our reception."
Yeah, that reminds me. I can offically mail these." I told Barry as I grabbed a box.
What are these?" Barry asked me.
Save the date cards for our wedding. On one of my braver days, I filled them out. I never mailed them, not knowing if I would live to see the ceremony, but... But now I guess it's safe to..." I was cut of by Barry running off with the inventations.
Delievered." Barry said when he came back.
I wasted a lot og money on stamps, thank you very much." I said as I laughed
Are you ready to be Sarah Snow-Allen?" Barry asked me as he held my ring.
Barry and I walked towards the window and saw lighting strikes everywhere.
Barry and I went to S.T.A.R. Labs to see Cisco and Julian already in here which is completely destroyed by the stone.
You found something?" I asked Cisco
Everything's barbecued. I'm gonna try establish an uplink to the satellite. That's not good. Hey, Wally, can you reverse the polarity on the neutron flow?" Cisco asked through a walkie talkie.
Central City University reports an earthquake of 6.6 on the Richter scale." Julian announced
That's not an earquake." Harry pointed out
Then what was it?" Joe asked
Earthquakes comes from find below. This is something else." Harry said before the whole room started to shake.
It's getting bad out there Emergency service will soon be overwhelmed." Jay said as he walks in.
Guys, 7.2, that last one."
We then looked on the satellite and saw a big pink blob above us.
What is that thing?" Iris asked
That's definitely not a breach."
Holy plutonium. What even emits that many kilojoules?' Cisco asked
The Speed Force." Jay said
But Savitar's dead." Joe added
That's the problem. It's the Speed Force prison. It needs an occupant. When you free me, we emptied it. With out a prisoner..."
It goes unstable. And now it's bleeding energy into our Earth." I finished explaining
Okay, so how do we stop this?" Iris asked
By giving it what it needs."

The whole gang went outside S.T.A.R. Labs and saw lightning hit everything while everyone tries to dodge them
I have to stabilize it." Barry told me.
What? How?" I asked him
By running into it." Barry announced
No, you can't. Barry, you'll be trapped in there forever." I said while Barry held my shoulders.
If I don't go, he whole City, maybe even the entire planet, could be destroyed." Barry said
Cisco. There's gotta be another way, right? Barry, Central City needs The Flash." I told him
And they'll have one. " Barry said before hugging Wally.
After they hugged he walks towards Julian and shook hands, then Barry walked over to Harry.
Barry. Wally and Jay said they were in hell." I said before a breach appeared and Barry's mother walked out
Barry, that's your mother." Joe said
That the Spped Force." Barry announced
Barry isn't going to hell. But like all runner must eventually, he's reached his finish line. His race is over."
You can't take him with you." I argued
She's not taking me anywhere. I have to go." Barry told me.
Why? Why are you being punished?" I asked as tears started to fall through my eyes.
This, all of this, it's started with my mistake, with Flashpoint. This is my panance. This is my redemption." Barry told me.
I watched as Barry walked over to the others and said his goodbye's before walking over to me, which I've already started crying.
Barry. This isn't fair." I sobbed as he placed his hands on my cheeks.
I know." Barry said
We were supposed to have our happy ending. I'm ready to be Sarah Snow-Allen." I continue sobbing while I grabbed Barry's hand
And you always will be. But you need to keep living your life. Keep growing. Keep loving. Keep running. For me, promise me you'll run, Sara."
I promise." I whispered before Barry pulls me in for a kiss which I returned
I gotta go." Barry said as he walks towards hsi mother, grabbed her hand. Barry then looked abcka t me before he walked into the Speed Force, making him disappear
