U.A's Saiyan Heroes-24

"So what do we do now?" Bulma asked.

"Well first, someone should take the two Namekian children to Guru, I think they'll be safer with him than with us, since danger seems to follow us like nails to a magnet." Krillin said. "An' with one of our heavy hitters out of commission, and the other one being six days out, we don't stand a chance of beating any of Frieza's men."

"Excuse me, but I think we might be able to help him another way." Dende said.

"How would we go about that little man?" Mina asked, sticking the capsule in her Cleavage Storage.

"Well, if he's able to regenerate like a Namek, perhaps fusing with him could be an option, and he'd be able to recover faster." Dende exclaimed.

"Sorry, your idea is good, but not possible with Kaen." Carmine said. "His regeneration abilities are completely different from yours. So fusing with him would be impossible to."

"Oh. Well, what if we took him to Guru? He'd be able to heal him." Dende exclaimed.

"That could work. Trouble is, we don't know where Guru's place is." Mina exclaimed.

"Don't certain Namekians have special abilities though? Like being able to heal?" Carmine asked.

"Oh that's right. I can heal him." Dende exclaimed with a big smile. "I owe him so much for his courage when saving me and my brother, I'd be honored to heal him."

"Hold on." Mina exclaimed. "As smart an idea that is, I think it be best if we hold off and wait to use Dende's healing abilities as a last resort. We don't wanna show off our hand too soon."

"She's right. Sorry Dende, but you'll have to repay him some other time." Gohan exclaimed. "Looks like we're taking Kaen to Guru's."

"Gohan, you stay here with Carmine and Bulma. Mina, the children, and myself, will fly over to Guru's." Krillin said.

"Right." Gohan said.

"Jiro should be there pretty soon to collect either the one star or four star Dragon Ball." Mina exclaimed, tapping the screen on her wrist device twice. "Contact Kyoka."

There was a moment of silence before there was an answer.

"Mina, is everything all right? Did you or Carmine get hurt by Frieza's men?" Jiro asked over the communicator. "The alarm alerting us to one of our teammates being in death's grip sounded off. Are you all right?"

"Both Carmine and I are fine Kyoka. It's Kaen who caused the alarm to go off. Frieza damaged him real bad. Both his legs, eyes, and his right arm were gone, and he was covered in puncture marks, most likely from his horns. But we've got him stabilized inside a freezer capsule, and he's slowly getting himself back together."

"What? I'm heading for your location now." Jiro said.

"No. Keep going for the next Dragon Ball. We can't afford to let Frieza or his men, or Vegeta for that matter, to get their hands on even one of them." Mina said. "We're going to the same location anyway. The Namekian Children believe Guru will be able to revitalize him."

"All right, I'll keep going, and I'll meet you there. Be safe." Jiro said.

"When you get there, ask if he'd be willing to heal Kaen, only if he's up to it though. From what Morgo told us, he's up there in years, and most likely doesn't have long left." Mina exclaimed.

"I will."

"An' watch out for Vegeta to. If he knows you're here, then he's gonna be looking for a fight. An' even with both our strength combined, we wouldn't be able to defeat him." Mina stated. "Be careful about how much energy you put out. He can sense it without a scouter now."

"Got it. I'll see you when we meet up." With that, Jiro ended the call.

"Okay, let's get going. The sooner we can get Kaen back on his feet, the better." Mina exclaimed.

"Right." Krillin said, as he and the children flew out of the cave.

"I think we should probably change base locations." Carmine exclaimed.

"Good idea, but let's wait for a bit longer. I'm still hungry." Gohan said.

"You might only be a halfling, but you certainly have the appetite of a Saiyan." Carmine chuckled.

~Kaen's Mindscape~

"Damn it." Kaen groaned, sitting on the steps of the One-for-All temple, with his legs crossed, and his hands on his knees. "I cannot believe I slipped up, and gave Frieza the chance to power up even further."

"It's not your fault Kaen." Nana said.

"Yes it is." Kaen argued. "I got sloppy, and ran my mouth instead of letting my fists do the talking. That gave Frieza the chance to overpower me."

"Technically he didn't." Nana exclaimed.

"How do you figure? I got my right arm, and both my legs torn off my physical body. My eyes were gouged out, his horns pierced my body several times, and he toyed with me like I was a drunk on a mechanical bull before throwing me off and repeating the stabbing, bucking bronco act. I think he had me, pretty outclassed."

"What I'm saying is, you haven't fully unlocked your Super Saiyan Power, just yet."

"Huh?" Kaen questioned.

"Come with me." Nana said, motioning for him to follow her to the Torii Gates. After following her lead, Kaen was expecting answers, to which Nana was happy to provide. "Okay, so as it stands, the first Torii gate is open, right?"

"Of course. But what does that have to do with…"

"I'm not done." Nana said. "You see, being open is the problem. The doors are still able to be closed."

"And?"

"An' the problem is, the doors are still intact." Nana exclaimed. "With the doors still holding strong, you're true Super Saiyan strength, is cut in half."

"So, what you're saying is, if the Torii gate doors had been completely destroyed, instead of just flung open…"

"Your power level would have been an even million." Nana stated. "You haven't fully unlocked it yet. Now's your chance, we'll close the gates, and however many times it takes for you to destroy them, we'll keep at it until you've reached that point."

"Where's Oozaru, shouldn't he be here to take care of my training in all this?" Kaen inquired.

"He is currently doing some research." Nana exclaimed.

"Research on what?"

"Research on the Torii Gate that appeared in fourth place, right between the third golden gate, and the crimson red gate." Nana exclaimed. "It could, quite possibly be a new height for your Super Saiyan forms."

"Forms, as in multiple?" Kaen asked.

"Yeah, what do you think all these Torii Gates represent? The first gate represents Super Saiyan, then Super Saiyan2, 3, the new gate might be a Super Saiyan4." Nana explained. "Oozaru was the one who helped me understand all those."

"What about the other gates?" Kaen questioned.

"To be honest, I'm not sure, not even Oozaru knows what the final three gates represent." Nana stated.

"When did the new gold, red and black gate appear?" Kaen asked.

"According to Oozaru, the night you fought against Katsuki in Hosu before you died." Nana explained. "All right, enough talking, let's get your training underway."

~Reality: Mina, Krillin, and the Namekian children~

"We're almost there. I can see it up ahead." Dende exclaimed.

The group of four had been travelling for what seemed like hours, and were being careful about not being spotted by Vegeta, or any of Frieza's men, which meant a longer flight.

"Great. I can't wait for Kaen to be back at full strength soon." Mina sighed, pulling the capsule out from her cleavage storage. "Hold on a little longer Kaen, we'll get you healed up, real soon."

"Think Jiro might have gotten there already?" Krillin asked.

"She must have gotten there, quite a bit ago, with the head start she had." Mina said.

As the four landed Krillin and Mina were greeted by a tone, muscular, Namekian.

'He looks just like Piccolo/Morgo.' Krillin and Mina thought at the same time.

"Dende, welcome. Guru has been expecting you and your friends." He said.

"Thank you Nail. Please, take us to him."

"I will, though he's not doing so well. He doesn't have much time left." Nail exclaimed.

"Oh no. We'd better hurry." The other Namekian child, exclaimed.

When they all went into the Namekian home, and were brought to the upper level, they were greeted by Jiro, and a large, overweight Namekian sitting in a chair that fit him.

"Mina, how is Kaen?" Jiro asked.

"He's stable." Mina said, looking at the capsule in her hand. "But he's still weak."

"Child. Bring me your injured friend." Guru exclaimed, holding out his hand.

"He's in here." Mina said, handing him the compressed capsule. "Please do what you can."

"I will do what is within my power." Guru exclaimed, closing both his hands around the capsule. "So much latent energy, such a pure and kind heart he has. I can sense his internal struggle, he subconsciously put up barriers to keep himself from losing control, but he's trying his hardest to break those barriers. I shall help him heal in both mind and body."

Guru let out a humming sound as he separated his hands, the capsule glowing with energy around it at the same time, suspending it in midair between his hands.

~Kaen's Mindscape~

"Concentrate Kaen. I know you can break down the doors." Nana exclaimed.

"Ka…me…ha…me…" Kaen chanted as he powered up an attack to hit the doors with, just before he felt a great surge of energy, and released the attack. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA."

The Kamehameha Wave hit the doors of the first Torii Gate, shattering them to splinters, and continued on, until it was blocked by the second Torii Gate, causing the ropes to burn, and the wood of the doors to crack slightly, with a few splinters of wood falling off it, before the attack died down, and stopped.

"Okay, apparently you did have it in you, more than I thought, and almost unlocked the second stage of your Super Saiyan Strength, which would have caused your power to increase exponentially, while also destroying your physical body at the same time, since it's not ready for that kind of power, just yet." Nana exclaimed, as they both sweat dropped at the sight of the ropes being gone and the wood being splintered.

~Reality~

"He should be fine now. But he will still need rest, to fully recover his strength." Guru said, handing the capsule back to Mina.

"Thank you Guru." Mina smiled, holding the capsule in her hands, and close to her heart. "I don't know how I could ever repay you."

"Your smile, is more than enough." Guru said, with a smile of his own. "I could sense his tremendous power. He's a Super Saiyan, isn't he?"

"He is. He's strong, and brave. But he can be such a big knuckleheaded goof sometimes. He always thinks with his heart and fists, rarely with his head. But I wouldn't want him any other way." Mina said.

"I've already gotten the One Star Dragon Ball from Guru. With all seven in our possession, we now can prevent Frieza from granting his wish. Vegeta to." Jiro exclaimed.

'I had sensed several other souls residing within Kaen when I boosted his power. I'm sure it's something he doesn't want to be made public knowledge, but if I ever get the chance, to speak with him alone, then I will ask him about it.' Guru thought. "Now, young man."

"Who, me?" Krillin asked.

"Yes. Come here, so I may unlock your hidden potential, like I have done with your friend's." Guru exclaimed. "I sense that there's great power within you, that you've yet to reach and unlock."

"Well, all right. But I'm telling ya, I've already maxed out my potential with my training." Krillin said, coming to Guru, as the Elderly Namek put a hand on his head. Within an instant, Krillin gasped when he felt the sudden surge of power, coursing through him. "Whoa, incredible."

"Now, you young ladies, come so I may unlock your potentials." Guru said.

"But… doesn't it drain you to do that? Won't it make your condition worse?" Jiro asked.

"I'll be fine. Using my power, to unlock one's potential, does nothing to harm me." Guru said, before he had a coughing fit.

"So, say if I were to bring someone here, who had plenty of potential to be unlocked, you could do that for him?" Krillin asked.

"Of course, so long as his heart is pure." Guru exclaimed.

"Great. I'll be back later with Gohan and Carmine. They've both got plenty of potential to unlock. Especially now, with Carmine's brother out to kill her." Krillin exclaimed.

"Krillin." Mina said in a bit of a scolding tone. "That wasn't your business to tell. Besides, you're taking too much advantage of Guru's generosity."

"I'm sorry Mina, but if it means keeping her alive, I must do this." Krillin exclaimed.

"It's fine. His heart is in the right place. I don't mind helping to keep another soul alive." Guru exclaimed.

"If you're sure." Mina sighed. "Still, I think it's kinda stingy of Krillin to take advantage of your generosity like that."

"There's no need to worry. Now come here, so I can unlock the latent potential within you both." Guru said.

Jiro and Mina went to either side of Guru, as he placed his hands on their heads, and felt the surge of energy coursing through them, awakening their dormant power.

"There. Now you both should be quite a bit stronger." Guru said.

"Thank you Guru." Mina and Jiro smiled. "Krillin, hold on, I'm coming with you. I think it would be best if someone stays with Bulma since she's not much of a fighter."

"Smart idea." Krillin said.

"I'll stay behind and make sure Guru is safe alongside Nail." Jiro said. "I'll also take the capsule Kaen is in."

"Good idea. Take it, and keep it safe." Mina exclaimed handing the capsule to her. "Just be sure Kaen gets his rest."

"I will." Jiro smiled softly.

~Carmine, Gohan, Bulma~

"Gotta say kid, your technique is pretty good, and you seem to fight like both a Namekian and a Saiyan Warrior." Carmine said, as she was sparring with Gohan.

"Thanks, and it's no surprise you're so good at fighting." Gohan smiled.

The base had been moved from inside the cave, to a clearing between two mountain ledges. With Gohan and Carmine's ability to sense power levels, they knew when to pack it in on their sparring matches, and hide to avoid detection.

"It's kinda boring out here isn't it? Goku should be arriving in about three days or so." Bulma said, drinking some soda.

"Less than that actually. It'll be another two days, if his ship has a Saiyan Pod Warp Core for an Engine." Carmine exclaimed. "Honestly, if his ship were smaller, he'd be here already. But given the blueprints you showed me of the ship your father built, it's no wonder it's taking so long."

"Well, Goku did ask my dad to install the ship with plenty of training equipment and a gravity machine." Bulma said. "I heard he and Kaen trained on King Kai's planet, which has ten times the amount of Earth's gravity."

"Yeah, it's ten times the gravity for both Earth's." Carmine said, blocking a roundhouse kick from Gohan.

"By the way, what is the deal with all this, Earth Alpha and Beta stuff?" Bulma inquired.

"Well, the short version is, a God of Creation, had messed with the timeline, and in the battle against the God of Destruction, the Time Ring he used was shattered, thus pulling Earth Beta from an alternate timeline, while leaving Earth Alpha, and quite a ways beyond its solar system, in a time rift that once every ten years, Earth Alpha's time, will align with the rest of the rest of the universe's flow of time. But when that time is cut off, the time area is in constant flux, being severely unpredictable." Carmine explained.

"What happened to the God of Creation? Why'd he mess with time?" Gohan asked.

"He saw mortals as vermin, as imperfect, impure beings. So he declared a quest of extermination, after killing his master, and promoting himself to Supreme Kai, calling it, a holy mission of justice, where his immortal perfection could be the only thing visible in the universe." Carmine exclaimed.

"Was he destroyed?" Bulma questioned.

"No, he was sealed away. If he had died, the God of Destruction would have died as well, for one cannot live without the other, or so King Kai and Kami say." Carmine stated.

"Huh, that's really interesting. What would happen if the pieces of the Time Ring that was destroyed, were brought back together and restored to a single entity?" Bulma asked.

"Well, theoretically, Earth Beta, your earth, would be sent back to its original timeline, but given that it's been millennia since that incident between the two deities, the disturbance could very well cause the universe to implode on itself." Carmine said, taking a break from sparring, with Gohan.

"Wow, so we'd best hope nobody decides to put the pieces back together, at least not while we're still alive." Gohan exclaimed, drinking some water.

"Damn straight." Bulma exclaimed.

"You know Bulma, you could benefit from a bit of martial arts training." Carmine said, Wrath crawling up her arm and onto her shoulders. "I mean, you are friends with quite a few Saiyans, so you're bound to run into more trouble than not."

"No thank you. I am not interested, in becoming a musclebound meat head, all obsessed with karate, kung fu, or whatever the hell type of fighting styles those are." Bulma said.

"I'm trained in a Saiyan Martial Art, quite identical to Kung Fu. Kaen is actually trained in several of the Kung Fu styles, tiger, monkey, wolf, snake, dragon, and ox. Those are about it." Carmine explained. 'Gotta remember not to tell them about Atlas, and how he actually introduced Kung Fu to our earth from the Saiyan Fighting Style. He made us all swear to secrecy about him, before we left his underwater mobile city of Atlantis.'

"Gosh, Kaen sounds like he's really strong." Gohan said in awe.

"He is. From what his father has told me, he's been training in martial arts, since he was four, after knocking Endeavor on his butt." Carmine exclaimed.

"Who's Endeavor?"

"A Hero turned Villain. Kaen had to kill him in self defense though." Carmine explained.

"What happened to cause that?"

"From what I understand of what Athena told me, when Kaen was four, he knocked Endeavor on his butt, and also exposed him as an abusive ass, who only wanted nothing but power, and was trying to turn his youngest son, into a weapon to surpass All Might." Carmine exclaimed. "Then when Kaen was kidnapped, Endeavor petitioned that nothing be done to get him back, and was dropped from his second place rankings, to 350th."

"Serves him right." Bulma exclaimed.

"But, during the sports festival a few weeks ago, he and a few students who held a grudge against Kaen, actually plotted to kill him, while also villainize him at the same time. But Kaen was able to expose their plans. Sick part was, he told two of the three students who he plotted with, that it was okay to try and rape Mina and Jiro, in an attempt to get them expelled by knocking them up, so there would be two more free spots in the Hero Course for them to take, when Monoma took Kaen's. Kaen had already exposed those three, for revealing a government secret that shook the nations. As a result, they were expelled from the Hero Course, and put in General Studies, while also not allowed to apply for any of the other courses involving hero work in any other school. Like the Hero Course, and Support Courses. But what Endeavor didn't anticipate however, was Kaen having a few tricks up his sleeves, mainly being he was able to combine the Quirks he stored up, with his Saiyan Power. Kaen fought Hellfire, with Cryomancy. Now keep in mind, all I'm telling you, was told to me, by Gine."

"What's Cryomancy?" Gohan asked.

"Control over ice." Bulma said. "So I take it, Endeavor was a Pyrokinetic?"

"Yep, he was able to control fire. An' Kaen won in the end." Carmine explained.

"How'd he win?" Gohan questioned.

"By crushing Endeavor's head into a paste, with his bare hands." Carmine stated.

"Subtlety is not your strong point is it?" Bulma asked. "You can't just say stuff like that in front of a kid."

"What? He can take it, he's got Saiyan blood running through him. Plus, I heard he handled himself pretty well in the fight against Nappa and my brother." Carmine exclaimed.

"I didn't really do much. I just choked up, but I did land a couple hits on that Nappa guy." Gohan exclaimed.

"See? Nappa was a Saiyan elite. No way you, could have caused some damage to him if you weren't strong enough to do so." Carmine smiled.

"Alright, I guess you did make a point." Bulma said.

"Carmine, come in Carmine, can you hear me?" Mina questioned on the intercom.

"Carmine here, what's up Ashido?"

"Krillin and I are heading to your location. Get yourself and Gohan ready to follow Krillin to Guru's. You're gonna want to see him and what he has for you." Mina explained. "ETA to your location is five minutes."

"That's fast." Carmine said. "Hold on, I'm sensing two massively powerful energy levels heading for us."

"That would be Krillin and myself. Guru unlocked our latent potential, and he's gonna do the same for you and Gohan." Mina exclaimed.

"What about Kaen?"

"He'll be fine. His capsule is with Jiro. Guru already revitalized him, and unlocked his potential, he's just needing rest now." Mina explained.

"All right. See you in a couple minutes." Carmine said, before ending the call. "Get ready kid, we're about to take a little road trip to Guru's place."

"Wait, you can't leave me here all by myself." Bulma gasped.

"Relax Bulma. Mina is gonna be here to keep you company while Krillin takes Gohan and I to Guru's." Carmine exclaimed.

"Hey, what's up?" Mina smiled as she and Krillin arrived.

"Speak of the pink devil." Carmine snickered.

"You two get going. I'm going to sit around with Bulma for some girl time." Mina exclaimed.

~Frieza's Ship~

"Lord Frieza, we've finished our analysis of the Saiyan's three limbs like you requested." One of the scientists said, coming to Frieza with a report.

"And?" Frieza asked, back in his base form.

"Well sir, there is a slight anomaly within his genetic coding, but it is impossible to replicate with our technology." The scientist said.

"I see. What about retrieving the Dragon Balls?"

"It would appear sir, that his right arm, is not actually connected to any sort of storage space, or pocket dimension."

"Hmm… I see. It must only be connected when he's in one piece." Frieza exclaimed. "Bah, and I was careless enough to let him get away. Send for the Ginyu Force, at once."

"But… are you sure they're needed my lord?" The scientist inquired.

"Oh, they are. I will have all seven Dragon Balls in my possession, and my wish for immortality will be granted." Frieza exclaimed. 'An' maybe my wish for being taller than Cooler to. I do so despise how he picks on me for my height.'

"Of course Lord Frieza, I'll send word for them to come at once." The scientist said, before leaving.

"Soon, my wishes shall be granted, and I shall forever reign supreme over the entire Cosmos." Frieza said, before he began to laugh manically, and insanely.
