Catherine and Steve landed in Buenos Aires after a long flight.
"We finally arrived," he said.
She looked at him with affection and passed her hand across his face. "Tired?"
"Yes. Not you?"
"Yes. Tired, but excited," she answered.
"I'm glad you rented an apartment this time. I think it's better than staying in a hotel," Steve said.
Catherine agreed with him. "Yes, and I miss cooking sometimes.
They took a cab and headed for the apartment they rented.
"See the Obelisk, Steve," Catherine pointed to a huge monument over 60 meters high.
"We'll come here tomorrow, after all a visit to Buenos Aires is not a complete visit if you don't come to the Obelisk," Steve told her.
"You also shouldn't miss the Rosedal. It's a park with thousands of roses, about a hundred species. It's very beautiful," the cab driver told them.
"Oh, really? I love flowers. I hear the Japanese Garden is beautiful too." Catherine answered him.
"Yes, it's really very beautiful," he agreed.
"We'll go there, for sure," Catherine said.
"She also wants to watch a Tango show a lot," Steve told the driver.
"I can point you to a show house where you can watch the show while you have dinner.
"Perfect," Steve replied.
Catherine smiled. She was happy and Steve was happy to make her happy.
A few minutes later they arrived at the apartment and were very well received by the owner. He showed Steve and Catherine the whole apartment, gave them the key, wished them a good stay and made himself available for what they needed.
"Thank you very much," Steve told him and accompanied him to the door.
"Did you like the apartment?" Catherine asked him.
"Yes, it's exactly like the pictures," Steve answered. He hugged her and kissed her neck. They kissed and then just looked at each other and smiled at each other. Steve wanted to ask if she thought it was time for the pregnancy test, but he didn't want her to think he was obsessed with the subject.
"You seem worried," she said.
"It's nothing," he kissed her lightly one more time.
"I need a shower," she told him.
"Okay. Go and then I'll go."
Steve had seen a pharmacy on the corner of the building where they were. While she was showering, he went to the pharmacy and bought the pregnancy test.
She had already gotten out of the shower and was going through her suitcase when he returned. "Where did you go?" she asked.
"I went to the pharmacy and bought the test," he handed her the little bag.
She seemed upset and Steve wondered if he had anticipated himself.
"My period just come , Steve," she said disappointed.
"I'm sorry, Cath. I got ahead of myself," he told her.
"It's okay. I'm sorry I let you down."
Steve put the test on the table and then hugged her. "Hey, don't be like that. It was just the first month of trying."
"What if I never make it?" She asked.
"We'll make it, it's only a matter of time. But if we don't make it, and this is a very remote chance, you're more important to me than ten kids".
"Thank you." She looked at him with sad eyes. "I think I'll see a doctor."
"If it'll make you feel better, fine," Steve kissed her forehead.
Catherine put the test in her suitcase and took her clothes to get dressed.
Steve got out of the shower and Catherine was sitting on the bed still with a sad look. Steve sat down next to her and put his hand on her knee. "I don't like to see you like this. You were so excited when we arrived, and I want to see you happy and joyful."
Catherine just looked at him and didn't say anything.
"If we can't do it naturally, there are other ways, Cath. And if we still can't, there's still the option to adopt. Joan is adopted, but we hardly remember that, she's part of the family like she was born from Mary.
"I know," Catherine replied.
"Everything in life has a moment to happen, it's not always when we imagine it. Being patient and waiting for it to happen isn't a waste of time, but making sure there's a time for everything," Steve told her. He embraced her lovingly. "We'll have our little boy or our little girl running around the house someday," Steve kissed her forehead showing respect, affection, and protection.
"I love you, you know?" Catherine said to him.
Steve smiled and stroked her hair. "I love you, too."
They went out to dinner, walked hand in hand, and then came home. They were still exhausted from their trip.
The next day they woke up early and went out to explore the city.
Tani smiled at seeing some photos that Steve sent to her. "Guys, I'm going to project the photos of Steve and Catherine on TV.
"Why are they between two giant letters?" Danny asked as he looked at one of the photos.
"They're in Buenos Aires, so B and A, and also the Obelisk behind them," Junior replied.
"It makes sense," Danny said.
Tani laughed. "Of course it makes sense, Danny."
"They look very happy, they're quite smiling," Lou said.
Lincoln was also looking at the photos. "Yes, they're happy because they're together. He needed her to live, to walk around holding hands, laughing like two teenagers."
You are so sentimental. I'm practical, but I must confess I'm feeling a little jealous, in a good way, of course," Quinn said.
"Well, you don't have to feel that jealousy in a good way, Quinn. Magnum's friend is crazy to go out to dinner with you," Tani provoked her.
"I'll think about it," she answered.
Catherine was posing for Steve to photograph her. "Beautiful!" He smiled and said. Catherine took a flower and was feeling her perfume when Steve photographed her.
Steve approached and showed her the photo. "This picture was perfect. The most beautiful flower in my garden is you".
