Fate's Sacrifice

When Eragon meets a stranger in the wilderness will it prove to be beneficial or risky business? Fate has a way of intervening when it is needed most, but does it come at a cost? Never assume anything less than a proven fact and watch out for the twist of fate unless you are willing to make the sacrifice.

19. Hi I'm 23, it's quarantine and not 2013

yes it has been 7 years.

no i do not remember 99% of anything that happened in these books.

does it haunt me that 16 year old me never finished this, yes. (to be fair i had major back surgery that summer so, understandable)

i watched the movie today (to settle an argument over which adaptation was worse, this or Avatar Last Airbender - the correct answer is the latter) and suddenly i remembered this thing exists.

so in the sake of emotional closure, if only for myself, here's what i can remember of my 16 year old self's totally original plot:

-Ivy finds out her name is actually I.V. which is intials for Isilana Vairnen.

-somehow figures out that her dad is actually Galbatorix

-highkey she wants to kill him, but also just really wants to know why he gave her up

-decides to use Murtagh as a means of getting close to him

-pretends to betray eragon and join the ol bad guys

-murtagh lets her stay close to him because hes using her for info on eragon

-end up totes inadvertently falling in love even though both of them try to deny it

-idk like stabs her dad or something and steals his dragon

thats it thats all i remember.
