Mirya was in the guild, pondering over the conversation she had with Grandine. She didn't know what to make of Acnologia. She encountered him once with Aella. The very next day she was placed in the Spirit World. She looked outside to see the sky dark and rain pouring.
"I hope you all don't think it's me." Juvia says, fearing that she'd be known as the Gloomy Rain Woman again.
"We know it's not you Juvia. You're too cheerful to cause this." Mirya says, trying to move on. She would follow what Grandine said, remain vigilant. She watched as Wendy scolded Carla for being rude to Happy. Happy looked hurt and Carla walked out of the guild, straight into the rain. Wendy went after her.
"Be careful Little Dragon." Mirya calls out. Wendy looks at her and nods. She starts to run after Carla.
"You are like a mother to that girl." Gildarts says, approaching her. He came to talk more about the black dragon.
"She's so young and needs help with her powers. Hers are more complex compared to ours." Mirya says, knowing the troubles that the girl went through to learn enchantment, support, and healing.
"Can we talk about yesterday?" Gildarts asks, trying to not alert the guild.
"Yeah." Mirya agrees, alert. They walk up to the second floor and sit down in a corner far from the others.
"What do you want to know?" Mirya says, trying to minimize the amount she would tell.
"What happened to dragonkind? You said he was the reason for them going extinct." Gildarts asks. He wanted to know what Acnologia was capable of. Mirya felt relief that it was information that anyone could uncover if they dug enough.
"It's simple, he killed them all." Mirya says, shocking Gildarts. "Gildarts, he was able to take on an entire race on his own. There's no way a human can take him, not alone." Mirya says, stating the truth. Gildarts took it with stoicism.
"You're lucky to be alive. Not many can claim that they saw Acnologia and be alive to tell the tale." Mirya says.
"You're one of them, and you did it before the age of five." Gildarts says, remembering that Mirya said she was five when her mother left.
"I had Aella with me, and we didn't face him. I was able to look at Acnologia and the power I felt in his presence…" Mirya drifts off. Gildarts didn't need to ask more about that. He felt the pure fear and destruction that the creature carried with him. To experience that at the tender age she did, it would have scarred a child.
"Thanks. I'll talk with the master and see what else I can learn." Gildarts walks off. Mirya was left to her thoughts. "Aella… Where the hell did you go? We had to go through the gate for you to reside in my body, but we didn't. You placed me in the spirits care. And this happened way earlier than what was planned. We started this four years before the other dragons could go through the gate. Why?" Mirya could only speculate.
She continued to think before she felt a huge magical presence. She looked around to see the building go white and disappear, taking the others with it.
"Everyone?!" Mirya yells. She looked around to see everyone gone. There was only an empty expanse around her and bubbles were floating upwards. She felt a familiar magic and started to run towards it.
"MYSTOGAN!" She yells as she gets close. She knew that he would know what to do. He looked up at her and was surprised.
"What's going on?" She questions.
"The anima has sucked the guild through." Mystogan says, confusing her.
"What's an anima?" Mirya asks.
"It's a way to suck magical energy. The guild has gone through to a different world, Edolas." Mystogan says to her shock.
"How do we get them back?" Mirya asks, fully believing Mystogan.
"Take this." He hands her a tiny flask full of little red balls. "These are x-balls, they will allow you to use your magic in Edolas. Your magic will allow you to turn the guild back. Dragon slayer magic has a lot of uses in Edolas." Mystogan says, worrying Mirya.
"Turn them back? From what?" She asks.
"They've been turned into a lacrima. Your dragon slayer magic will help you." He says.
"How do you know all of this?" Mirya asks.
"I said that Edolas is a different world from this one. I am from Edolas." Mystogan says to her surprise. "I am the Jellal from that world." Mystogan says, knowing she would understand.
"What?" Mirya can only say in shock.
"I know this is a lot to take in, but you need to get going." Mystogan says, about to send her through but stops as he sees Gajeel head towards them.
"Oi! What's going on?" Gajeel asks, stomping his way over. They catch him up and give him an x-ball.
"So we get to go and fight a foreign kingdom? Sounds like fun." Gajeels says, ready to fight.
"Look for the lacrima. That's your job. I'll look to see if any others are still here. Then I'll join you." Mystogan says.
"Okay. Don't die on me." Mirya says, hugging Mystogan. Her whole family just went missing, so she was a little distraught.
Mystogan rubs the top of her head and says, "You got it. I'll see you in a bit." He says, sending them off through the anima.
.
.
.
"Ahhhh!" Mirya yells as she and Gajeel land in a heap. They look around to see that they were sent in a secluded alley.
"Let's get up and look around." Gajeel says, getting up.
"Okay." Mirya nods, following his lead.
They walk around the city and see as many turn to look at Gajeel. They were all surprised to see the many piercings that were spread around the iron dragon slayer's face.
"Hey, let's take these." Gajeel says, grabbing a pair of cloaks and tosses one to Mirya.
"Good thinking." Mirya says, putting the cloak on and raising the hood. They both continued, their faces concealed.
"Gajeel, I smell something like you." Mirya says, readying herself.
"Really? Let's go pay a visit to this world's me." Gajeel says. They walk around to find him and see him in an alleyway.
"How are we going to do this?" Mirya asks.
"We're going to show him my face and get him to help out. I mean, this is me we're talking about. He'll help us out." Gajeel says, acting as if he's known him for a long time.
They walk up and tap his shoulder.
"May I help you?" Edo Gajeel asks.
"I think you can." Gajeel says, removing the hood.
"WHAT!?" Edo Gajeel could only stare at the other Gajeel's face.
"Man I am really good looking." They both announce. Mirya facepalms.
"Not why we're here." Mirya smacks Gajeel, reminding him why they came to Edo Gajeel.
"Right. Can you help us?" Gajeel asks his counterpart.
"With what?" Edo Gajeel asks, his reporter senses going off.
"We're looking for a lacrima." Mirya says.
"You mean the lacrima in the main plaza?" Edo Gajeel says, alerting them of a potential location. "What are you going to do?" He asks, grabbing his booklet, ready to write everything down.
"We're going to destroy it." Gajeel says.
"Why?" Edo Gajeel asks. He wanted magic power just like the rest of them, but here was his look alike saying that he was going to destroy it.
"Our family was transformed into that lacrima. The king is going to kill them all to get eternal magic power." Mirya tells him, explaining why.
"Follow me." Edo Gajeel says, leading them. He wouldn't allow innocents to lose their lives for their magic consumption. He leads them and Mirya calls out.
"Gajeel, you see that?" Mirya asks, pointing to a blue tip in the distance. She, Gajeel, and Edo Gajeel were about a block away.
"Let's go look at it." They walk over and look to see a crowd around the blue thing. The blue thing turned out to be the lacrima they were looking for.
"We're going to get infinite magic power." She hears one of the citizens say. She was angry, they wanted magical energy at the cost of her family's lives.
"Let's break that thing." Gajeel says, smirking. "Let's hope everyone is ready for a smackdown." Gajeel and Mirya push their way to the front and catch the attention of the guards. Edo Gajeel leaves, knowing they would find him later. "Stop right there." The guards lift their spears and the duo fling off their cloaks.
"Let's do this Gajeel!" Mirya says, launching an attack at the lacrima. Gajeel holds the guards off, giving Mirya time to liberate her family.
"Celestial Dragon Roar!" Mirya yells, releasing a beam of light from her mouth. She and Gajeel watch as the lacrima releases a smokescreen. They watch to see only two figures emerge from the lacrima.
"It's only Erza and Gray?" Mirya asks, dismayed that the rest of her family wasn't there.
"We got more problems." Gajeel says, referring to the guards.
"Requip!" Mirya watches as Erza and Gray try to use their magic, but find that they couldn't.
"We can't use our magic!" They yell in shock.
"Gajeel get them out of here. Celestial Dragon Wing Attack!" Mirya sends the guards flying, running behind Gajeel, Erza, and Gray. They run until they hit the alleyway that she and Gajeel first appeared in.
"What's going on? Where are we and why can't we use our magic?" Erza asks, demanding information.
"Why can you guys use magic?" Gray asks.
"We are in the parallel called Edolas. Unlike our world, they have a limited supply of magic. So in order to compensate, they've been stealing magic from ours. Except this time, they've taken the guild and turned them into a lacrima." Mirya says to their anger.
"How come you guys can use your magic?" Erza asks, feeling useless.
"Here take these." Mirya says, popping in an x-ball into their mouths.
"What are these?" Gray asks, wondering what she gave them. "And where did you get them?"
"Those will let you use your magic here." Mirya says, to their relief. "I got these from Mystogan." She says to their surprise.
"Mystogan?" Gray asks.
"Yeah." Mirya says, not explaining.
"What are we supposed to do?" Erza asks, wanting a definitive goal to accomplish.
"Right now, me and Gajeel are looking for the lacrima. Our magic can reverse the transformation, so we can bring the guild back." Mirya says, informing them.
"Is it some properties in dragon slayer magic that allow for the reversal?" Erza asks.
"I don't know, but all I know is that we need to find the lacrima. This is a huge city and we only have four people." Mirya says.
"I've got it. Titania and the stripper can go storm the palace while we look for the lacrima in the city. At the very least you can beat the answer out of one of the people there. And we get to beat up the guards out here." Gajeel says.
"Good idea." Mirya says. "Take these." Mirya hands them a flask of x-balls.
"Let's go Gray." Erza says, nodding to the dragon slayers and running off to the palace, Gray right behind her.
Mirya and Gajeel set off in search of the lacrima. They were running and it was then that Mirya was hit with a realization. "Hey Gajeel?" Mirya asks.
"What's up?" He responds.
"If you think about it, the lacrima has to be humongous. If the lacrima we reverted only had Erza and Gray, then wouldn't the lacrima holding the whole guild be at least ten times larger than that." Mirya says, causing Gajeel to think it over.
"You're right! Where can they hide a thing that big?" Gajeel wonders.
"I have no clue, but I want to stick together as long as we can. Eventually we're going to have to get in the air." Mirya says.
"You're right. Keep your senses sharp. We might smell somebody or sense the magic." Gajeel says.
They run around and start to fight with the army. They tried to capture the Fairy Tail mages and they were in for a shock when only two were able to take down their forces.
"Gajeel!"
"Mirya!"
Mirya hears somebody yell. She looks around to see Happy fly at them.
"Happy!" Mirya runs and hugs the feline. "You're okay."
"I know where the lacrima is." Happy says, to their shock and relief.
"Show us." Gajeel says.
Happy picks him up and shoots to the sky. Mirya follows close behind, pulling her own wings out. She follows Happy to one of the various floating islands in the sky. She felt shocked when she saw the lacrima. IT WAS HUGE!
"This thing is big." Mirya says.
"Well of course. We are the strongest guild." Gajeel says, with a hint of pride in his voice. Mirya felt another magical presence and grabbed Happy. She dodged an attack from a sword and looked at their challenger. It was a giant cat!
"Whoa… Did he use a growth potion or something?" Mirya asks.
Mirya looks at the scene and knew she wasn't needed here. "Happy, help Gajeel fight. I'm going to lend support to the others." Mirya says. They were already spread out, and this wasn't necessary. Erza and Gray could use her help more than Gajeel could. Happy nods and shoots off to act as Gajeel's wings. Mirya watches them get underway and leaves, heading to the palace.
She breaks in through the front door. Piles upon piles of soldiers lay around her. "COME AND GET ME YOU LOSERS!" Mirya shouts her challenge, certain that a good portion of the castle could hear her. She runs through the castle, trying to catch Erza and Gray's scent. She eventually catches Gray's. And to her surprise she also smells Natsu, Wendy, and Lucy. She runs into this huge room which housed an amusement park. She felt sick just looking at the rides.
"Uhhhh…." She hears and looks up to see Natsu on a ride, motion sick.
"I'm coming, Natsu!" Mirya takes off flying, trying to catch up to the magic powered roller coaster. She couldn't catch up and was falling behind. "Okay…Time for the big guns."
"Celestial Dragon's Blazing Star!" She shouts, activating her flight/offensive spell. She sees the coaster fast approaching and crashes straight through it, causing it to topple off the tracks and fall towards the ground. She hurries and manages to grab Natsu before he is flattened like a pancake.
"I've got you." Mirya says, as she dodges an incoming rollercoaster. "What the hell… It's like these things are tracking me." Mirya thinks, flying and carrying an incapacitated Natsu.
"Hurry up and get caught! This is taking too long." A teenage boy yells. He had purple and white hair. He was carrying some sort of conducting baton.
"Hey! Do you know where I can find my friends?" Mirya yells, hoping for an answer.
"You won't find them, Sugarboy and Byro will take care of them." The boy says, smirking.
"What's your name?" Mirya says, really hoping that she'll be able to knock the smirk off his face.
"The name is Hughes. Not that you'll be alive long enough to use it." He replies. "Cocky much?" Mirya thinks.
"He's my fight." Mirya hears Natsu say. She looks down to see him come out of his daze.
"Sorry Natsu, but I'm taking him on. He's annoying." Mirya says, providing her reasoning.
"What?! But I was fighting him first." Natsu argues.
"Yeah and I had to save you from a rollercoaster. If you're good to go, then go help Lucy, Gray, or Erza." Mirya sees Natsu pale.
"Hey, you okay?" Mirya asks, wondering about his change of demeanor.
"Fine. It's just… Erza is fighting her counterpart in another part of the castle." Natsu says, Mirya almost drops him in surprise.
"Man, that is one fight I don't want to miss." Mirya whines. If the Erza from this world was as skilled as their Erza, then that would be the showdown of the century.
"Nope!" Natsu denies. One Erza was too much to handle, the world would come to an end if there were two Erzas.
"Just go already." Mirya hurls Natsu towards the exit and covers his retreat.
"Let's rumble." Mirya smirks. She would greatly enjoy beating this guy. Hughes just smirks and waves his baton. A barrage of swords went to impale her and she dodged them. He waves his baton again and rollercoasters attempt to strap her in. She flies around, enjoying the flight practice. Hughes looked frustrated.
"Alright, I'm bored." Mirya announces as she was flying for ten minutes. She quickly darts in front of Hughes and smacks the baton from his hand. She grabs his collar and flies him over a lake and dangles him over it.
"W-w-wait! I can tell you where the lacrima is." Hughes offers, not knowing how she and Gajeel had already found it.
"We've already found it. Nice try." Mirya says, throwing him into the lake. She flies over to where she dropped the baton and took it with her. "Don't need him getting out and causing more havoc with this." She flies after Natsu to interrogate him on what's happened. She follows his scent until she sees Gray, Natsu, and Erza.
"What's up my dudes?" Mirya asks, relieved to see them okay.
"We have a plan." Gray says, tuning her in immediately.
"We will use the dragon chain cannon and shoot the lacrima with all of that dragon slayer magic to convert our friends back." Erza says.
"Sounds good. Erza, why do you have that on?" Mirya asks, not knowing she was posing as her counterpart.
"This is a replica of Erza Knightwalker's outfit. She is trusted by the king, so I shall pose as her and get us access to the cannon." Erza says.
"Cool! Hey, have you guys seen my counterpart anywhere?" Mirya asks, hoping to see her counterpart.
"Nope. She wasn't with this world's Fairy Tail. And she wasn't a part of the army." Natsu says.
"Man… This sucks." Mirya says.
"Let's tie you three up and we'll put this plan in motion." Erza says, holding ropes up.
Mirya, Natsu, and Gray are all tied up and getting dragged around the castle. "Damn… This is the only time I'm doing this. Next time I'm beating up the king and taking the information, better yet, make him leave us alone." Mirya thinks, hating the feeling of getting dragged.
They then get taken to the chamber where they house the cannon and they see the king waiting with his guards.
"Are those some of the intruders? Excellent work Erza." The king praises, looking at those she has tied up.
"But why did you bring them here? You should have taken them to the dungeons." A guard mentions.
"The key to the cannon was broken. This one can create a duplicate." Erza says, pushing Gray to the front. "The other two are dragon slayers. Figured you would like to see them."
"Well then… Create the key." The king demands, making Mirya growl. She hated people like him. People who thought that they could have whatever they wanted, served on a silver platter.
Gray walks up and creates the key. He places it in the slot and didn't know how to redirect the cannon. Erza realizes this and cuts Mirya and Natsu free; she also goes and threatens the king by placing her sword to his neck.
"Redirect the cannon to hit the lacrima, or I shall carry my threat out on the king." Erza says, shocking the guards. They believed that she was their Erza.
"What is this? Treachery?" The king questions. "Don't do it!" The king yells. His guards would not follow his orders and redirected the aim to the lacrima.
"SCARLET!" Mirya looks up to see another Erza attack their Erza. This caused Erza to let go of the king and they lost their leverage. The guards seeing that their king was safe, positioned the cannon back to the original target.
"Celestial Dragon's Starry Night!" Mirya releases her attack pushing the guards back. She started to think of a plan of attack when the ceiling broke.
"Hey guys!" Lucy waves, she was on top of one of the army's flying pets. Mirya knew that was their way out and grabbed Natsu and Gray and flew up there.
"What?" Natsu asks, confused as to what she was doing.
"Hold up." Gray says, looking at Erza. She saw Mirya with the guys and made her retreat.
"How is she riding a legion? Those are only for those in high positions." The king questions. A little girl appears and shouts, "That's because this one is mine!" She smiles.
"COCO!" The king yells. The group flies off.
"Hey kid." Mirya calls out to the girl named Coco.
"Yeah?" Coco asks.
"Thanks. What's his name?" Mirya asks, wondering about the Legion's name.
"His name is Leggie." Coco says, petting the Legion.
Mirya sees Natsu fly off with Happy to stop the lacrima. "What the… The lacrima!" Mirya freaks out and is right after Natsu. Their family was in danger and she wouldn't sit around. She joins Happy, Natsu, Carla, Wendy, and some cat in pushing the lacrima away from Extalia.
"We can do this!" Mirya yells, trying to encourage the others. She sees Lucy, Gray, Erza, Gajeel, Leggie, and Coco join them.
"You guys…" Mirya says. Adding further to her surprise, she sees jets of lights come from Extalia and sees the cats help them.
"We have to do this! We can't let our home be destroyed!" She hears one of them say.
"Ahhhh!" They yell in unison, determined to save their home and family. They managed to do it and just barely stopped the lacrima.
"We did it!" Mirya yells, causing celebration to go around. They're full of smiles until they see the lacrima vanish.
"Where did it go?" Mirya asks, confused and concerned about the lacrima.
"Thank you for buying the necessary time. I've managed to find an Anima big enough to send the lacrima back." Mystogan says, appearing.
"MYSTOGAN!" Mirya yells and launches herself at him. He catches her in a hug and continues to address the rest of them, pulling off his mask in doing so.
"It's been years since I've seen you, Lily." Mystogan says, addressing the really buff cat that fought Gajeel.
"That it has." Lily says, tearing up at Mystogan.
"Thank you, for saving me when I was a child." Mystogan says, surprising Mirya.
"Thank you. For saving my homeland, my prince." Lily says, further shocking everyone.
"My prince?!" Mirya asks, detaching herself from Mystogan.
"Yes, I am Prince Jellal of Edolas." Mystogan proclaims.
"The prince has returned!" Coco yells, delighted.
"You traitor!" Mirya hears as she turns to see Lily get shot out of the sky.
"Lilly, no!" Mystogan yells.
"Not my cat!" Gajeel says, worrying for the cat.
"Someone has to go and help Lily!" A white cat says, concerned.
"Don't worry your majesty, I'll do it." A female feline says, flying down to check on Lily.
"Knightwalker…" Erza growls at her counterpart. She goes to face her, only to be stopped by Mystogan.
"Knightwalker, you dare to raise your weapon to the prince?" Mystogan says, causing her to hesitate.
"Prince? Don't make me laugh. I never considered you my son." The king says. Mirya was furious at his statement. "You were in Earthland disabling the animas. You're a traitor."
"I did what I had to do." Mystogan says. Mirya grabbed his hand and nodded at him. He looked grateful for her support.
"I shall do what I have to do as well, all for eternal magic." King Faust says. The air started to shake and pulse. "Rise! Dorma Anim!"
"The Dorma Anim?!" Mystogan says in disbelief.
"Mystogan, what is it?" Erza asks.
"In the ancient language of my ancestors, it means dragon knight. It's a suit of armor meant to mimic a dragon." He explains.
"A dragon?" Natsu asks, intrigued. They all look to see a metal machine that vaguely resembles a dragon.
"Tch. That ain't a dragon. Aella would be furious to be compared to that monstrosity." Mirya proclaims, upset at the machine that they tried to pass off as a dragon.
"You got that right." Gajeel says to her. He was just as upset as she is.
"No magic will work on the Dorma Anim! Now then, my soldiers. Capture the exceeds and turn them into lacrima! We shall have eternal magic power." The king announces, spurring his soldiers into action.
"Ahhhh!" The exceeds scream as they see each other turn into lacrima. They began to flee from the soldiers.
"Run away!" Mystogan yells.
"You will not get in the way again!" The king yells, shooting a blast from the Dorma Anim.
"Three Layered Magic Circle: Mirror Water!" Mystogan uses his staves and reflects the attack back to the Dorma Anim. It makes contact.
"Wow… This is Mystogan?" Lucy asks Mirya. Lucy knew that Mystogan was on par with Erza, but to actually witness it was amazing.
"Yeah. That's my big brother." Mirya says, her awe and pride evident.
"Ooooh. That tickled." The king says, mocking them. The Dorma Anim didn't take damage from the intense attack.
"You're kidding?! All of that power and it didn't even dent the thing?" Gray asks, disbelief written in his face.
The king shoots again, taking Mystogan by surprise and shoots him down. Mirya managed to see him use his air magic and land safely. He looks towards her and nods to the dragon knight, indicating for her to take it down; she nods back.
"Haha! Huh…" The king says, confused. "Why is the Dorma Anim taking damage?" He questions, looking for the cause, as do the mages in the air.
Fire is seen by the dragon knight and a pillar of iron hits the machine. "Sky Dragon's Roar!" A torrent of wind hits the head on. "Celestial Dragon's Starry Shot!" Star bombs alighted the Dorma Anim, causing tremors to go through the air and ground. Mirya lands beside her fellow dragons.
"Nice job Little Dragon." Mirya praises Wendy along with Natsu and Gajeel.
"Thank you. But compared to the damage you guys caused, I've still got a long way to go." Wendy says, staring at the Dorma Anim.
"Natsu! Gajeel! Wendy! Mirya! Are you okay?!" Lucy yells, worried for her friends. "Do you think they'll be alright?" She asks Gray.
"Are you kidding? They were taught how to do this. They're the only ones who can take this thing down, the dragon slayers."
"We're fine. Just take care of the cats." Natsu says, focusing on the machine in front of them.
"You heard them. We leave it to you, Natsu!" Erza says. The rest of the group is then preoccupied with the soldiers they have to defeat.
"Mirya, do me a favor?" Natsu asks.
"What is it?" Mirya asks, curious as to what he wants at the moment.
"Let us deal with this thing. You can watch." Natsu tells her. "You owe me, you took that creepy guy before." Natsu says, referring to Hughes.
"I'll jump in if you guys lose. You better win Natsu." Mirya says, jumping to the top of the ruins that were once a colosseum. She starts to watch how far her fellow dragons have progressed. "They're good, but not good enough, not yet. At their power levels, we would die at Acnologia's hands." Mirya thinks, analyzing. "Not to mention Sting and Ryos, they're still young."
She watches as they were beaten down and how they continued to rise.
"You're all out of magic power, what are you going to do now?" The king asks. Mirya was ready to show him who's boss, but Natsu beat her to it.
"We'll just use tomorrow's power. We ain't giving up." Natsu says, slamming his fist on the floor.
"Tomorrow's power?" Wendy and Gajeel ask.
"Natsu!" Wendy screams, seeing how explosives were launched at him.
He launches himself at the Dorma Anim and throws it. "Let's go!" He issues the challenge. The Dorma Anim braces itself to jump again, but is stopped.
"What?" The king looks to see Gajeel pin its leg down.
"Try that again buddy. You might just lose a leg. Salamander! Hurry!" Gajeel yells.
Natsu who was falling toward the ground calls Wendy.
"Wendy! Roar at me with everything you've got!" Natsu says.
"Okay! Sky Dragon's Roar!" She releases her breath attack once more.
"Well would you look at that. He found her attack's rotational pattern and is riding it." Gajeel thinks, looking at Natsu.
"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Natsu headbutts the king out of the Dorma Anim. Due to the amount of magic needed to take the thing down, it caused an explosion. "Guess I have to do something after all." Mirya thinks, placing a barrier around the dragon knight. She contains the explosion, preventing the floating island from going down.
"Thanks!" Mirya looks to see Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy grin at her. "We don't have any more magic, so that would have been rough to get away from." Natsu says, referring to the explosion. Mirya looks to see the king look frozen, shocked at the dragon slayers.
"This isn't over. There can still be aftershocks." Mirya says, only to experience what she predicted. The ground was rumbling. "The island couldn't take all of the magic pressure, it's going down!" She yells.
"What?!" The other three yell. Mirya could carry all three, but she still needed to know what they were going to do with the king.
"Hey, what are we doing to do with Faust?" Mirya asks.
"We take him with us." Natsu says, an idea festering in his head.
"Natsu, I see that look in your eyes." Mirya says, Natsu looked worried that she was going to shoot him down. "I am so totally with you." Mirya announces. Wendy and Gajeel sweatdrop.
"She did not agree with the Salamander." Gajeel thinks, wondering where her rationality went.
"How are we getting down?" Natsu asks.
"I can carry all three of you, even the king. We're just going to be a tight fit." Mirya says, grimacing at all of the weight. She tells Gajeel to get on her back and Wendy attaches herself to her front, both trying to not get in the way of the other. She grabs Natsu in one hand and the king in the other and throws herself off the island.
"This is the worst idea I've ever had!" Mirya yells.
"Carla is going to kill me!" Wendy yells, burying her face in Mirya's collarbone.
"Ahhhh!" Gajeel yells.
"This is the best!" Natsu yells, enjoying the ride down.
"Now, I just need to not kill us." Mirya says, worrying everybody. When they were 250 meters from the ground she shouts, "Celestial Dragon's Blazing Star!" She alights and begins to control their free fall. She worried that they would have too much speed and plummet into the ground.
"I'm going to let go of all of you! Prepare yourselves!" Mirya yells, shocking all of them. She lets go and makes sure they stick close to her. "I'll use Aries' wool powers for a soft landing." She thinks.
"Wool Bomb!" She releases lavender colored wool to soften their landing. They land in the wool and are safe from the drop.
"That was a close one." Mirya says, collapsing on the wool due to the anxiety of keeping them all alive. "I'm picking a fight with Grandine, Igneel, and Metalicana. Keeping this trio alive is tough." Mirya thinks, wondering how the dragons did it in the past.
"I can't wait to tell that to Happy!" Natsu yells. "That was the best thing ever!"
"Igneel, I'm sorry for what you had to go through." Mirya thinks, sweat dropping at Natsu.
"Now let's do my idea." Natsu says.
"What is this idea?" Gajeel asks, suspicious.
"We're going to be villains and terrorize the city. We'll use the king and make him our hostage to make it more believable." Natsu says.
"Why?" Wendy asks.
"People will want to blame somebody. It would be better if it's us, we're going to leave either way. This will let them move on." Mirya explains, knowing what Natsu was trying to convey. They look towards the king and they get him into the plan.
"This will be the best thing for you to do. You may get off easier." Mirya tells him. He nods. So they continue on. They head back to the city and steal matching cloaks. Natsu managed to find horns for himself.
"I'll be your lord!" Natsu proclaims.
"Why do you get to be the lord?" Gajeel questions.
"I came up with the idea." Natsu says, prepared to defend his pretend title.
"He's also the only one stupid enough to pull off this evil lord act without hurting anyone. Plus, have you seen his ugly mug." Mirya says, making Gajeel feel better and teasing Natsu at the same time.
"HEY!" Natsu yells in irritation.
"I mean, Wendy is too nice to be evil." Mirya says, making a point.
"You're right." Gajeel says.
"What are your orders, my lord?" Mirya asks, kneeling to Natsu. She was getting into her role.
"My faithful servants follow me!" Natsu proclaims, playing along with Mirya.
"They're taking this way too far." Gajeel mutters to Wendy, who nods. They all make their way in front of the palace. Mirya sees a cat who was punching the air and calls out.
"Hey you! Come over here!" She waves the black kitty their way.
"How may I be of assistance?" He asks, recognizing them as some of the mages who helped Extalia. Natsu and the others gathered round to see what she was going to ask.
"Call Prince Jellal and Lily to come out. They're in the palace." Mirya tells him.
"Okay." He hurries off to complete what was asked of him.
"Now let's destroy some buildings. Be careful of the citizens, we can't hurt them." Mirya reminds them.
"You got it." They tell her and begin to launch their attack. She focused on only destroying rooftops, destroying a whole building would be more risky and would take more effort.
"Natsu, Wendy, Gajeel, Mirya! What are you doing!?" Mirya looks to see Mystogan confused.
"I'm the Great Demon, Lord Dragneel! Kneel before me Prince Jellal! Or else I'll kill the king." Natsu yells, revealing Mystogan's ties to Edolas and bringing attention to their 'hostage'.
"Prince?"
"The demon lord has the king!
"He's the prince?"
"Oh no! The king!"
"Our Prince has returned!"
The last yell had come from Edo-Gajeel. He was still helping them, in any way he could.
"Stop this at once!" Mystogan yells. He knew that Natsu and the dragon slayers were taking the role of villain.
"Try and stop me! Now my servants, destroy this city!" Natsu yells.
"Tone it down, Salamander." Gajeel mutters, not liking being called a servant.
"Yes my lord." Mirya plays right along. She was having too much fun. She and Gajeel set about destroying more of the city. She decides to take it one step further, and calls on her Gemini powers. She uses them to turn into Mira, more specifically her Satan Soul form.
"Fear Lord Dragneel!" She yells, flying around in the demon form. She felt a little bad, terrorizing the citizens like this; but it had to be done.
"Rawr!" Wendy attempts to look frightening, but fails. Mirya goes behind her and releases her worst glare and spreads some of the dark aura that Mira carries around her. That did the job and the citizens who were around them scurried away from the duo of girls. Wendy pouts at Mirya.
"Natsu!" Mystogan yells and starts to run towards Natsu. He attempts to use his stave, but it doesn't work because of the reverse anima. Mirya notices this and begins to panic. "The things containing magic will be ejected by the anima. That means we'll get home. But since Mystogan relies on staves and is from Edolas, he won't come." Mirya comes to this realization and begins to feel the tears coming. She tunes back into the fight and hears Natsu talking.
"Rule number three, though we may part ways, never forget the friends you made in Fairy Tail. Live your life to the fullest." Natsu says, as he and Mystogan deliver their final blow. Natsu pretends to lose, giving the win to Mystogan.
"He did it!"
"The prince won!"
Mirya looks over to see the Edolas Fairy Tail staring at Natsu's prone body. She walks up to them and starts to talk.
"Hey. Why the long faces?" She asks.
"All of the magic is disappearing, how can we be a mage guild without magic?" They ask her.
"You're not a guild because you have magic, you're a guild because you're allies. You treat each other like family." Mirya says, knowing that the Edolas Fairy Tail was similar to her own in a sense.
She looks around and sees her counterpart staring right at her. "Oh my gosh, it's me!" Mirya yells, running to her look alike. Her counterpart looked nervous. "Are you okay Miss?" Edo Mirya asks.
"Don't be so formal. I'm you after all." Mirya says.
"Sorry miss." Edo Mirya says, continuing the politeness.
"Hey girly, let loose. Don't be so uptight!" Mirya says, shaking Edo Mirya. "You are Mirya, own it!" Mirya says, striking a pose.
"What are you doing?" Edo Mirya asks, confused because her counterpart was semi crazy.
"Trying to get you to relax." Mirya says. "This may be a lot to ask, but will you do me a favor?" Mirya asks, wanting to settle any remaining threads.
"What is it?" Edo Mirya asks, looking determined.
"Take care of the prince for me. He's dear to me and my guild. It would comfort me to know that in some way I'll be there for him." Mirya asks, surprising her Edolas counterpart.
Edo Mirya looks over to Mystogan, or rather Edo Jellal. She starts to blush looking at him. "Don't tell me…" Mirya thinks.
"Do you like Prince Jellal?" Mirya asks.
"We used to be childhood friends, I thought he went missing. I had a crush on him back then too." Edo Mirya confesses.
"Well that makes my favor easier to manage." Mirya proclaims. "So I fell for Jellal in both of these worlds… I don't know if that's a good or bad thing."
"Take care of him, promise me." Mirya demands.
"I'll take care of him. I promise." Edo Mirya looks to Earthland Mirya. Mirya was reassured, she saw the fire and sincerity in her counterpart's eyes. She knew that she would take care of him.
"One last thing… tell him how you feel. Life's too short to stall, so get on it." Mirya tells her with a grin. "Wish I could have done that with my Jellal…"
She feels the anima strengthen and knew she had limited time. She runs to Mystogan and is glad to see him near an ally. It would help cover them for the time being. He sees her running and hugs her.
"Please don't leave." Mirya whimpers, hugging tight.
"I can't make it through the anima." Mystogan says. He wanted to return with them, he wanted to go on that job he promised her.
"I'll fly you there." Mirya says, ready to put her idea to the test. He shakes his head.
"You can't. The anima will suck the magic out of your body, causing you pain. I'm stuck here." He says, solemn.
"What am I supposed to do without my big brother?" Mirya asks him, breaking him and her even further.
"You have Natsu, Gajeel, Gray, and Loke there. You won't be alone." He tells her.
"That doesn't make this better!" Mirya yells, she wanted everyone to make it home. She begins to feel the anima pull her in. She grabs onto Mystogan as he grabs onto her as well. He pulls her down to hug her again.
"This is goodbye." Mystogan says, tearing up.
"No it isn't. Just you wait, I'll find a way to see you again. It may take me years, but I'll find you again. Then we'll go on that job with Wendy." Mirya says, shaking her head and tears streaming down her cheeks. She pulls out the twin lockets she had. She was going to give him his on their next job. She pushes the locket into his hands.
"Never forget me, big brother. Don't tell Natsu, Loke, Gray, or Gajeel, but you were my favorite big brother." She says, as she starts to get sucked by the anima.
"You'll stay in my heart." He responds, the tears finally make their way down his face. He looks at her, trying to soak in her image before she disappears.
Mirya finally makes it to the height level equal to her friends. They look at her sadly. They saw the tears running down her face and knew that she was leaving someone near her heart.
"MYSTOGAN!" She yells, her heart wrenching. She starts to break down and begins to sob uncontrollably. She continues to look at the man who took care of her whenever he could. She looks at the man who was always able to pull her out of whatever funk she was in. She looks at her big brother, the man who was now crying without regard.
"I LOVE YOU!" She yells. She held up her hand, one finger pointed upward. The other Fairy Tail mages follow her lead. She sees Mystogan do the same, bidding his guild goodbye. "No matter where you are, I'll be watching over you."
