Jeanette walked with her friends as they search for the Land Bounty, but she's looking down at the snowy ground as she walks. She stops walking and falls to her knees, gaining her friends attention.

"Jen?" Kai asks.

"Why haven't we heard from Lloyd?" She asks, moving her legs out from under her. The team look at each other.

"I heard Boma and Uthaug." She continued, looking at the ground and waving her hand through the snow lazily like a windshield wiper.

Cole took a step forward. "What did you hear?"

Jeanette stopped briefly in what she was doing. "I heard them say that they found a piece of Lloyd's uniform, and their was evidence of a fight and an." She trailed off as her voice shook and her eyes glittered with tears.

The team walked closer to her. "Jen." Jay started.

"An avalanche!" Jeanette cried. "He got lost in an avalanche!" Her voice broke in a sob, her hands shaking as she looked at them.

"No!" Cole insisted as they all quickly surrounded her. "Don't believe those two bozos!"

Nya gently took Jeanette arm. "That's right. I'm sure Lloyd is alive!"

"Yeah!" Kai agreed as he sat on the other side of Jeanette. "Jen, he'll be ok, he has to be alive!"

Suddenly Krag sniffs the air and growls softly, gaining the Ninja's attention.

"Krag?" Cole asks. "What's wrong?"

"I think he smells something." Nya replied.

Jay smells his armpits. "Like what?" He asks, just seconds of hearing a growl and the team turn to find a group of wolves. "Not these guys again!"

Krag growls, preparing to attack the wolves but Cole stops him.

"Krag, don't! There's too many!"

"What do we do?" Nya wants to know.

"Stay calm!" Jay answers. "Do exactly what I do." He grins. "On three. One." The others prepare themselves for a fight. "Two. Three!" He turns around and runs away, the others look at each other confused, before they follow his lead. The wolves start chasing the Ninja and Krag.

Kai runs up alongside Jay. "That was your whole plan!?" He demands.

"Where are we even running?" Nya questions, just as Cole sees the Land Bounty.

"I ... there!" He points at the Land Bounty. "Look!"

"The Land Bounty!" Jeanette cried.

Krag jumps past the Ninja and opens the door for the Ninja to dash in. The wolves run towards the Land Bounty, while Krag enters.

"Ha! Not this time, guys!" Kai said as he presses the button to close the door, but it won't work. He presses it multiple times, but the doors stay closed. Krag starts to close the door, but it doesn't close fast enough. Nya turns to run for the fire extinguisher and throws it outside.

"Zap it!" She yells at Jay, who Jay electrifies the extinguisher and it explodes, startling the wolves, the wolves scatter and the team sigh in relief.

"That won't scare them off for long." Kai remarks.

"Better get this tub of bolts working again." Nya said. "Fast!"

Lloyd waks up in a cell, groaning. He slowly stands up and looks at the shackles of ice on his wrists, he tries to tug them off.

"Are you awake, my friend?" A voice asks in a gently tone.

"Yes." Lloyd answers as he walks up to the door. "Who are you?"

"A prisoner, like you. What is your name?"

"Lloyd." Lloyd answered.

"Welcome to the Ice Emperor's dungeon, Lloyd. I am Kataru." The prisoner tells him.

Lloyd grabs the bars of his door. "Kataru? Akita's brother? The bear?"

"How do you know that?"

"She told me. She told me all about you." Lloyd said.

"My sister is gone. She was frozen, along with the rest of my people by the Emperor's Ice dragon." Kataru said with irritation.

"No. No, she's alive! We came across the ice together." Lloyd smiled as he grabbed the bars again.

"Do you swear it? Do you swear she is alive?"

"Yes! She's alive! Actually, she thought you were dead. She thought the dragon took you." Lloyd explained.

"Boreal. It did, but it didn't destroy me. It brought me here, a prize for its master."

"How long have you been here?" Lloyd asks.

"I ... I do not know." Kataru admits. "I made marks at first to keep track of the days and months. But after a while, I gave up. There is no escape from this place."

"There is always a way!" Lloyd said firmly, he turns at the sound of slow claps as Vex walks up to Lloyd's cell. "Ah, that's the spirit. So hopeful. So confident. But, alas, there are a few troubling details you don't know. Such as the shackles around your hands. But, alas, there are a few troubling details you don't know. Such as the shackles around your wrists." Lloyd looks down at his shackles. "They are made of corrupted Ice. If they can prevent a Formling from changing shape, then I think they can also contain your powers."

Lloyd lunges at Vex, grabbing the bars. "You liar! I don't know how you tricked Zane into believing you, but he'll see through you eventually. He'll see what you are!"

"What I am? I'm his trusted adviser, while you are nothing but a traitor and a rebel spy. And sooner or later, I will deal with you, as I deal with all who stand in my way." He laughs evilly and starts to walk away, but stops and turns around to face Lloyd again. "Oh, and that girl you are so fond of, what is her name again?" He thought about it, then shook his head. "Don't matter." He walks back up to Lloyd's cell. "I'll personally be there for her to pick up the pieces."

Lloyd spins around and charges at his cell door, trying to use his shoulder to break it. "Stay away from her! I'll kill you myself if you even try to touch her!" He yelled in anger and rage. "Stay away from my wife!"

"A beautiful flower, isn't she?" Vex smiled as Lloyd continued to try to break his cell door. "She is a catch!"

"Don't you dare touch my wife!" Lloyd yells. "I'll kill you!" He threatens with anger and rage.

Vex just laughs evilly and walks away.

Kataru walks up to his cell door, grabbing a bar. "I am sorry, my friend. I wish I could give you some hope, but there is none in this place."

The thumping of trying to break the door down fads, as Lloyd slumps down to the floor, but he smiles. "There's always hope. Akita's still out there and my friends are out there. And my wife, Jeanette is out there. And if I know one thing, it's that Ninja never quit. They never give up. Ever."

Jay, Jeanette and Krag are shoveling the snow around the Land Bounty. Jay stops and leans on the shovel.

"Maybe we should just give up."

Both Krag and Jeanette stop and turn to him. "What?!" Jeanette gasps, holding her own shovel.

"Nya's good at fixing things, but this is ridiculous!" Jay turns to the Land Bounty. "This vehicle's a goner!" He cries after being hit by a snowball and he faceplants in the snow, he looks up at Krag - who quickly points at Jeanette.

"Jay!" She throws another snowball at him. "Don't say that!" She throws another snowball at him. "We are Ninja, damn it! And Ninja never quite!"

The Land Bounty turns on, but quickly shuts down. After a few minutes it turns on again, but there's a noise and Cole's startled scream from inside.

Jeanette goes back to shoveling the snow, but pauses and turns to Krag who starts to growl. "What? What's wrong? You smell something?"

"The wolves are back!" Jay cries, pointing as the see the wolves approaching them. "Ahhh!" He turns and jumps for the door. "Guys! Guys, we got a problem! The wolves are back!"

Cole slides to the doorway and sees the wolves. He presses the button, but like before it doesn't work. "Aw, great." He continues to press the button. "Babe, whatever you're doing, do it faster!"

Jeanette swings her left arm, then her right arm - the blasts of wind slams into the wolves, Krag grabs a wolf and growls a it before tossing it away. The wolves gather and charge at Krag, the snow beast punches one of them before two more leap at him. "Krag!" She turns towards the inside of the Land Bounty. "Nya!" She runs inside, pushes the Smith siblings aside and thunderkicks the console.

The Land Bounty starts up, just as a wolf leaps at Cole, who throws his power at the beast. "Krag! Get in!"

Krag tosses a wolf off him and hurries into the Land Bounty.

"Go, go!" Cole yells, pressing the button for the door and a wolf slams into the door, he sighs relived.

"Hold on, everyone! We're getting out of here!" Nya yells as the Land Bounty leaps out of the snow and drives off.

Cole, Jay and Krag cheer.
