Buttercup's POV:
"There's too many of them!" Bubbles yelled, while she was trying to fight off six demons. Boomer and Bubbles wasn't doing so well either, on their end.
By the look of it HIM summoned all his soldiers, which is almost over a thousand of them.
"We have to keep trying!" I told her and laser beamed the other demons. HIM was just standing their smirking down at us and not even making a single move to attack.
'Coward!'
"Once all of you are dead, I'm going to take that child! Don't worry I'll take good care of that brat and tell him all about how his own family couldn't protect him!" HIM laughed.
"Why you-" I got distracted and a demon kicked me, and before I landed on a tree, I felt someone caught me.
"Are you okay, Butters?"
I looked up and saw Butch.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I looked and saw Brick helping the others out, and I looked back a Butch.
"Aren't you and Brick suppose to stay back to hold the barrier?" I asked.
"I'll explain everything later. Right now, we need to help others." Butch said.
"Okay."
Blossom's POV:
"You came?" I asked Brick as I was fighting off another demon.
"Yeah. I'm sorry for acting like a coward earlier and for doubting your abilities. I should have known better than to do that," He apologizes and shot a fireball at the demons.
"Apology accepted." I used my ice powers at the demons behind me. Where ever these demons come from, they keep increasing by the minute.
"Where the fuck are all these demons coming from!? It's like they keep appearing!" Boomer yelled and used his electricity to kill off more demons.
"HIM probably has an opened portal somewhere, that's letting all these demons coming here!" Butch yelled and used his powers to get rid of half the demons.
"Who would even thought a brute would be a smart one? It seems you're losing your touch Brick." HIM laughed and Brick was pissed.
So Butch was right, knowing that he's on the right track I just need to find out where that portal could be located, knowing HIM he probably put it somewhere than we least expected to be.
"Brick do you think you can use your heat detector to find the portal, while I cover you?" I asked him telepathically.
He nodded and he put his hand on the ground, and he's eyes started glowing yellow. I used my ice breathe on the demons and broke them into pieces.
The faster he finds the portal the better we have the advantage.
"Brick is trying to find the portal! One of you boys has to close the portal!" I told Butch and Boomer.
"Got it!"
I hope this will work.
Bubbles' POV:
My throat started hurting from using my sonic scream too much. I was about to get stabbed, but Buttercup's arm block the dagger, causing it to go through her arm.
"Buttercup!" I screamed.
"Tsk," She removed the dagger with ease and slashed the demon's throat with its own dagger.
"That hurt."
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. What's wrong why did you stop?" She asked with a worried look on her face.
I used to always hate it when she looked at me like that, when I was younger I just thought she was only pitying me, but then I realized she was always looking out for me...even when I never asked her to.
"My throat started hurting and I can't keep using my sonic scream, if I keep going my throat will be damaged." I explained.
"You don't have another way to use your sonic powers?" She asked me as she kept killing other demons.
"No." I told her.
Every tine I was offered to join training days, I always declined the offer, because I thought I would always get in the way, and that my power isn't really all that special to practice with.
"Well you're about to learn today!" Buttercup told me and used her telekinesis, and tore them to pieces.
"Wait, what?"
Buttercup's POV:
"You heard me," I told her and broke a demon's neck, and kicked the other demons away.
"In the middle of all this?!" Bubbles dodged a sword, and I restrained the demon, and pushed the side of the sword in its mouth and chopped its upper face off.
"I know you have more to you instead of just screaming like a banshee." I told her and killed more demons.
"Look at the others. They just don't shoot things out their mouths; they concentrate their powers through their hands and feet. Try doing that," I told her.
"But-"
"No buts, I know you can do this. You just have to concentrate." I said and kept fighting the other demons.
Bubbles always has a bad habit of degrading herself.
If I could remember, she constantly felt she will only just get in the way, and that's why I'm going to build up her confidence.
I can see she another power locked up somewhere, but holding herself back isn't going to bring that power out, and that's why I'm going to help her build up her confidence.
Even if it kills me.
Brick's POV:
As I kept trying to find the portal, I noticed everyone started to struggle even more, so I searched faster to find the portal.
It took a good minute to find the damn thing and it was located right on HIM's back. For a king of all demons, he puts in the worse place possible.
Typical.
"I found the portal." I told Blossom.
"Where is it?"
"On HIM's back."
"Really? Of all the other places he could of picked?" Blossom asked confused as I am. And, I just nodded since it still hits me, that HIM would be that stupid and arrogant to place a fucking portal on his back.
"Alright, I'll give them the signal."
I stopped my ability and went back to kill even more demons with the others.
I saw Blossom signaled my brothers and Boomer decided to close the portal, since he's the fastest out of all of us.
"I'm going to help cover Boomer." I said to Blossom and she nodded, continuing helping the others.
Author's POV:
Boomer went behind HIM and noticed how the demons kept coming out from his back.
'This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of shit.' Boomer thought.
He didn't know how he was going to make it, without being noticed by the other demons. He used his electricity and stunned all the demons for a while to restrain them.
Boomer teleport next to the portal and was trying to close it, but it was too strong.
One of the demons was able to get up and he noticed Boomer trying to close the portal, the demon was about to scream HIM's name, but he instantly got his head ripped off by Brick.
'That was fucking close." Brick thought.
Boomer's stuns started to lose effect, and Brick decided to use his flamethrower and turned all the demons into ashes.
Boomer finally noticed Brick and used telepathy.
"I can't open the portal it's too strong!" Boomer told him.
Brick flew towards Boomer and they both were trying to close the portal, but a demon that was about to come out stabbed Boomer in the chest with a spear. Brick killed the demon and the portal finally closed.
"Boomer!" Brick caught him, before he fell on the ground.
Bubbles saw Boomer severely injured and it felt like her whole world collapsed. The other turned to their direction, but unfortunately so did HIM.
HIM's POV:
"It seems you closed the portal, but it looks like one of you is down for the count." I laughed as I saw Boomer started losing a lot of blood.
"It's sad how my own son can't even take a hit. I'm so disappointed, but since you're already dying. I'll put you out of your misery!"
"Don't touch him!" Brick shot a flamethrower at me, but I just swiped it away like it was a fly and kicked Brick away from Boomer.
"Brick!"
I was about to crush Boomer, but the ground started shaking rapidly.
I looked behind me and saw Bubbles body started glowing light blue, and raised her arms up and a river of water came rising up from the ground and she splash it towards me.
And when I was trying to fight it, she clapped her hands together causing a sonic wave to shove me far away from Boomer, causing me to crash land into trees.
"You bitch!"
She is supposed to be the weakest one! How the fuck she gotten stronger in just one day?!
Bubbles' POV:
I never felt such power in my life, I quickly snapped out of it and quickly ran to Boomer's side.
He had a stab wound to his chest and he wouldn't stop bleeding.
"Boomer!" I started crying as I tried to stop the bleeding. He tried talking to me, but he couldn't speak since he kept choking up blood.
He is the best thing that ever happened to me...if he dies, I don't think I can live a life without him.
"He won't survive much longer, the stab wound hit a vital spot, which is preventing him for healing." Buttercup told me and sat next to Boomer holding his hand.
"What are you going to do?" I asked in tears.
"I'm going to give him my blood. It's the only way for him to heal faster," Buttercup said.
"If you do that, you won't have any energy. It could possible kill you." Brick warned her.
"I rather not survived this, than have Boomer die right a front of us. In the meantime, keep HIM and his demons occupied. Bubbles." She looked straight at me.
"You did amazing, now I need you help to cover me. This will take a while."
"Okay." I wiped my eyes and the others finished off the rest of the demons. While, I was covering Buttercup and Boomer.
I saw Buttercup bite Boomer's wrist and started giving him her blood to heal him.
'Please Boomer, don't give up...I hope Buttercup will survive this too. I can't afford to lose both of them.'
