ENTER THE YELLOW LATERN
HAL JORDAN
They fly to the roof of a building downtown, "Are you angry with me?" Shiera asks after they land.
"A little…But I see you got your memories back."
"I am starting to remember."
"Look we do things differently here on earth. Due process and innocent before proven guilty."
"We had such laws on Thanagar. But overtime they changed. Thanagarians who break the law are given a trial if they ask for one. But if the crime was committed in the presence of someone who upholds the law then they are executed immediately." She sighs, "But you are right. This is not my home world I should have shown restraint."
"Why did you leave?"
"I belong in the air. We Thanagarians have a love of flying and must take the air as often as possible."
"Okay…I came looking for you because I was contacted by the Guardians…Because Abin Sur was sent to recruit you and the Gandorian. That responsibility falls to me now. I am to recover the Gandorian's body and return it to his home world. Then chose another to become a Lantern. Do you still want to become a Green Lantern?" She turns away, "What is it?"
"On my world I was betrothed to someone I did not wish to marry. I thought that by becoming a Lantern I would be excused from that betrothal. Not so…But if my people think I am dead I will be free…I wish to stay on earth and build a new life for myself."
"Alright then."
She takes her fist and slams it across her upper breast area to the left. "Thank you Hal Jordon. And I would like to help you recover the Gandorian's body. I was trained in infiltration. I can get in and out without your fellow humans knowing."
He sighs, "Alright then." A few days later Hal waits on a mountain near area 51 as Shiera enters the building disguised as a Major. Hal had created a fake ID and credentials for her. She wears a black wig. As he waits there is a rumble in the sky and his ring starts to blink. He flies up to meet the threat and is confronted by Legion the same creature that killed Abin Sur. "You!" Hal creates a construct of a huge bat and hits the artificial lifeform. It goes flying down and hits the ground tearing it up.
Legion gets up and points it's hand at Hal and fires a green beam at him. He puts up a shield, but it shatters and he falls out of the sky. He does not hit the ground, his ring places a body-hugging shield around his body and he stops falling. When he looks up Legion charges him. He blasts him with his ring, but the Android absorbs his ring's power. He grabs his wrist and breaks it. Then he slams Hal to the ground and his body stops glowing. While Hal is unconscious the Android uses technology to scan his mind.
SHIERA
She enters the base as Major Carmen Taylor and is saluted by soldiers as she passes them. She has level five clearance which allows her access to every part of the base. First she goes to the ship and gets a digitizer so she can steal the body. Then she heads to the lab. The cameras had been hacked so she is able to digitize the body when no one is looking and sneak out through the ventilation system.
When she gets outside the alarms start to sound. She spreads her wings and flies to meet Hal. When she arrives he is not waiting for her. Shiera uses her bird like eyesight and spots an Android standing over an Unconscious Hal. "No!" She unfolds her mace and flies at the Android. With one hit the Android goes flying into a rock formation that shatters when he hits it. The Android bursts out from under the debris and fires energy blasts at Shiera. She bats the blasts aside with her mace that starts to spark with lightning.
She flies at the Android and hits it, lightning jumps across the Android as it stumbles backwards from the blow. That is when military helicopters show up. "Throw down your weapon and surrender!" A voice says. Shiera raises her hand and points her thumb down. An insult in her culture. She flies off and scoops up Hal as the helicopters chase her, but they are unable to catch her."
LEGION
"Return to me." A message says in Legion's eye display. The Android takes off and flies away. It enters orbit and flies to the edge of the solar system, then it opens an artificial wormhole and jumps to another Star Sytem in another Galaxy.
WAR WORLD
Throughout the known Universe it is known as War World and it is ruled by Mongul. The planet was once a normal planet and over time the technology that was built across the planet made it mobile. The original name of the planet long forgotten. It is here that Legion flies to meet up with an alien named Arkillo.
Arkillo is a male Vornian from the world Vornak. His life was saved by Sinestro and he became Sinestro's loyal follower in secret. Sinestro tried to make Arkillo a Lantern, but the Guardians refused. Legion arrived and met him in the court of Spectators. The court of Spectators was set aside for aliens who enjoyed the brutal savagery of Mongul's Death matches.
When Legion arrives he takes the unit to his private suite. He hooks Legion up to a holo-computer and downloads the information. He smiles and contacts Sinestro, "Sinestro it is I Arkillo…Legion has returned and I have the coordinates to Paralax's Prison and the Yellow Lantern."
"Well done our plan is bearing fruit. Is Hal Jordan dead?"
"I know not…Arkillo's battle recorder was damaged. It will take time to recover the information."
"I will take no chances…Send Legion back to earth and send me the coordinates. I will meet you there."
AMADA WALLER
Amanda is in a conference room with General Castle and Emile Hamilton. They are watching footage of Angel as they still call her and the Green Guy as they take down a crew robbing a bank. The men use to work for the Panessa crime family which was taken down by the Batman in Gotham City.
"I still say that they are not a threat to the world or America." Emile says.
"Even though the Green glowing guy attacked Area 51 twice."
"He didn't actually attack it the second time." Emile says.
"Enough! Professor your work with the ship, how is it going?"
"I was to reverse engineer some of its weapons
HAL JORDAN
He awakens to find Shiera standing over him. "Take it easy."
"Shiera. Tell me you destroyed that thing."
"I am sorry but it got away." They are behind the Hollywood sign in Hollywood California.
"Dam this is not good."
"Why what is wrong?"
"That thing scanned my mind and took the coordinates to Paralax's prison."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"Yes a very bad thing." Because of his broken arm Shiera flies him back to his family's house. Then he is taken to the doctor. A cast is placed on his arm after the bone is reset. When they return home Hal waits until his Uncle returns to reveal his secret.
"Son did you get hit over the head?" His mother asks.
"Fine. Shiera show them."
Her shirt rips apart as her wings unfold. "Oh my God!"
Suddenly there is a huge explosion, his mother and Uncle are killed by flying debris. "No!"
Shiera smiles, "Round three you piece of junk!" She pulls out her Ent-Mace and flies at Legion. "Haa!" With one hit the Android goes flying through wall of the living room. She flies after it and unleashes a barrage of attacks. With one swing she knocks its arm off and another she takes off the leg. The broken arm powers up and blasts Shiera in the side. She flares her wings and stops, then she throws her mace at the arm destroying it.
That is when Shiera is tackled by Legion, but she uses her talons to claw the Android. She raises her legs and flips the machine over. Then she flies for her Mace, she spins in the air and throws it like a spear. The Mace grows through the machine and it falls to its back. Shiera runs inside to find Hal crying over his mother.
She takes a knee and crosses her arms in an X lowering her head, "Negom eis, nedierf ni red neredna."
Her words translate, may you find piece in the otherverse. Hal looks at her, "Thank you." Sirens echo outside.
"We need to go Hal Jordon!"
"Go to the Android and recover its memory core." It takes a few seconds and she returns with it. Then they fly away.
SINESTRO THE UNKNOWN SECTOR FORBIDDEN SPACE
Sinestro flies his ship to the Unknown Sector. Home of the two worlds of Light and Dark. New Genesis and Apokolips. "Only you Abin Sur would be bold enough to venture to the one place even the Guardians fear to tread…" He says piloting his ship to an Asteroid Field. He lands on the mother Asteroid in the center of the Field. Arkillo is waiting for him.
"Welcome my Lord."
"You have done well Arkillo."
"I have scanned the Asteroid's interior. Paralax's prison is deep within the rock."
"Life signs?"
"Dead, the Prison is guarded by two OA-100A class battle drones."
Sinestro sighs and hands Arkillo a ring, "Here I stole it from the Ring Armory and bent it to my will." He summons his Lantern, "Use my Latern to power it. You distract the Drones while I recover the Yellow Lantern." Arkillo starts glowing green, but he does not dawn a Green Lantern uniform.
Sinestro hides while Arkillo flies at the Drones, but only one engages while the other remains guarding the entrance to the prison. Arkillo creates a Hydroian Battlebot with his ring to fight the Drone. Meanwhile using his Lantern to amplify his powers Sinestro destroys the other Drone. Then he flies to the door and enters the code. Down the tunnel he flies his ring providing him with light and protection from the void of space.
He reaches a large cavern with a solid energy construct of a one room prison in the center of the room. Most Constructs fade after the Green Lantern leaves, but somehow Abin Sur had created a Construct that still functions even after he is dead. Abin Sur was a great Lantern and a small part of him regretted betraying his former friend and mentor. But the sacrifice would be worth it to fulfill his true destiny and bring about the Sinestro Corp. The Guardians and the Green Lanterns had gone soft and he would harness the power of fear to set order to the Universe.
He opens the Prison, which is divided in half. Paralax is dead in one side and in the other is the yellow Latern. He drains his ring of power and places his ring on the yellow lantern. As his ring absorbs the power of the yellow ring, his Green uniform becomes yellow and the symbol changed. He hides the yellow lantern and flies outside to find Arkillo still fighting.
He creates a great yellow war hammer and smashes the drone. Then he proceeds to empower Arkillo as the second Yellow Lantern and first member of the Sinestro Corp. They fly to the uninhabited world of Ne'Wo where others are waiting to become Yellow Lanterns.
