Hello my fellow Kosie fans!
So, it's been a while.
364 days to be exact.
Since August 10th, 2019.
It's strange to think that I haven't updated this story in a year. I hadn't realized that much time had passed. A lot in my life has changed since then, and I'm sure the same is true for all you too. I hope you all are staying safe with the pandemic happening. I'm not quite sure how many of you still read this story and want to see updates, but I'm making this update as much for you as myself because I'm invested in Josie and Kaden's story too. :)
I've been reluctant to work on this story, though.
I feel like that's pretty obvious from my sporadic updates and constant apologies for the late update after each new chapter.
I really adore this pairing, and I love seeing all of you enjoy reading this story. It makes my heart glow and brings me so much joy. I'm so thankful for that.
That being said, I've realized what my problem is.
I have a lot of ideas for this story. A ton. I've mapped out quite a bit of it. But when I go to write it, and even reread pieces of the story, I'm... not happy. I do love some parts! But I'm just not happy anymore with a lot of what I've written. I think it's because the plot is spooling into a bunch of other things, and it's kind of getting away from the actual JosiexKaden story I set out to write. It almost feels cluttered, and maybe it's just me, but I feel like it almost reads like I haven't developed aspects of the story enough.
Phew. Okay. Now that I've said all that, I would still love to finish this story.
I really hope some of you would like to stick around and read along too.
So, this isn't me giving up on this story. I'm thinking more... re-vamping it. Editing it, changing things, and making it into the shimmery coming-of-age romance that Illéa would be proud of.
