I started writing a wrap up chapter, but it didn't seem right, so am planning on writing a few more chapters and just letting things go with the flow. So thanks for sticking with it.
After their bath they climbed into bed and Callie put out her arm to allow Arizona to snuggle in.
They stayed like that a long time, talking into the early hours about how they would make it work. With Arizona more likely to be called into emergencies it would make it tricky for her to be away too many weekends, so it was agreed that Callie would try and come to Seattle once a month if possible and Arizona would got to Miami once every three months.
They came up with a list of rules.
Speak every day...or if talking wasn't possible due to work, they would send a text. No matter what time.
Schedule a proper date time twice a week. Could be a lunch date or a movie date one evening.

Dropping Callie off at the Airport, both of them were a mess. Desperate kisses as they savoured every last minute before Callie had to go through to departures. As Arizona drove home, she decided to take her mind off the emptiness she felt without Callie near her. "We can do this" She said out loud confidently as she switched the radio on for some distraction.
Aron Wright song Build it Better came on the radio and Arizona felt the lyrics really summed up how she saw her relationship with Callie, second time round. They would build it better and it would work!
Once home Arizona grabbed her phone and dialled Sal's number.
"Hey Robbins!" Sal chirped down the phone. "Everything OK?" She asked.
"Absolutely Sal ….well other than the fact that I'm bloody miserable that Callie's on a plane flying back to that sweat pit you call home!" Sal laughed at Arizona's dig at the Miami heat.
"Listen blondie….at least you don't risk getting trench foot in Miami unlike Seattle. Actually…could you speak up a little…it's difficult to hear you over the sound of the pouring rain there".
Now it was Arizona's time to laugh. It wasn't actually raining…but it had literally just stopped about 10 minutes previously.
"How can I help?" Sal asked
"Two things – one could I get Callie's address off you, I just wanna send her a little something."
"Sure. It's in my phone somewhere". She passed on the address before filling Arizona in on what had gone down after the two women had left on Friday night. It sounded like Sal had a small crush on Mark Sloan….and Derek..and Alex, she had said she had had a great evening and that they were a good bunch.
"What else can I do for you?" Sal asked
" I know I don't have to say this, but you'll keep an eye on her won't you? I…I'm not going to be able to get down there very much because of work and I'm going to worry about her."
"Don't worry Arizona… I won't let her get too sad. Tell me what time does her flight land and I'll go and pick her up. Figure she might need a friendly face if she's as upset as you are"
"That would be really nice Sal…and she bloody better be as upset as me!" Arizona complained "I expect tears" She chuckled.
"Oh I'm sure there will be lots of them!" Sal said knowing her friend.
"I…I don't even know how to start to thank you Sal" Arizona said changing the subject
"For what?" Sal asked "I didn't do anything"
"Yes. Yes you did" Arizona replied " You made it easier for us to see what we were missing by not being together" Arizona felt a lump form in her throat " You literally brought her back to me Sal, and I am so, so grateful"
Sally paused slightly as she felt her own wave of emotion at seeing Callie happy again after what she had been through " What can I say Robbins…I'm just an old romantic at heart".
A WEEK LATER
Arizona was in the bathroom brushing her face when her phone started buzzing – it was booty call time. Quickly rushing out she jumped on the bed and grabbed her phone and answered Callie's call.

"Calliope" Arizona beemed back at the brunette "I miss you. How was your day?"
"I miss you too. I've umm had trouble concentrating at work today " Callie said with smirk.
Arizona smiled back at the beautiful face "Oh Yeah? Why's that? she asked innocently, already knowing the answer.
"Oh I don't know Arizona Robbins but it might have something to do with this!" Callie responded as she waved the huge dildo that had arrived from Arizona that morning.
