A/N: I don't own Harry Potter or any related characters
"Rose? You awake?"
"No, I'm talking in my sleep," I grumbled.
"I brought food, and chocolate, and a book that isn't a spell book," a friendly voice stated. I blinked open one eye and looked over. Lily was back, her arm still in a sling, but she was telling the truth. She had a sandwich, a chocolate frog and a book. I opened my other eye and sat up.
"I figured since you can't go down to the Great Hall to get lunch, I'd bring something up for you. It's turkey, Sarah ate all the chicken before I had a chance to grab you a piece," she said as she handed me the sandwich.
"Who's Sarah?"
"One of the Weasleys. Doesn't really matter. Of course, maybe it should since she's the one I filched the chocolate frog from?"
"Nah, doesn't matter," I answered, opening the frog. I managed to grab it before it hopped away.
"Who'd you get?" Lily asked, watching as I pulled out the card.
"Dumbledore," I answered, looking at it.
"Ahh, worthless one then," Lily laughed. I nodded in agreement tossing the card in the rubbish bin. I'd heard all about Dumbledore's actions during the war. I know it was even petitioned to have him removed from the cards at one point.
"Who's worthless?"
"Hi, Artie."
"Hi, Rose, and …. um, girl with red hair I'm not related to."
"Lily,"
"Right, anyway. Guess what Rose!"
"Adara got her big shiny rock?" I answered, rolling my eyes. Lily blinked staring at both of us.
"Adara?"
"Malfoy, not important," Artie stated. "No, I heard back from Uncle Bill about the scroll!"
"And?" I prodded. Lily looked at Artie waiting for him to continue.
"And it does still exist! Despite the fact the thing seems to disappear off the face of the Earth, it does still exist, there's been no mentions anywhere of its destruction. In fact, he even had some newer coordinates where the scroll was last seen. The only problem is that the last place it was mentioned was in an ancient Aztek carving."
"South America?"
"Right, Lily. It was last seen in South America, which we do not have an international treaty for expeditions at the moment."
"I might be able to help there if someone tells me what this scroll is and why you're both beyond excited to find it?" Lily offered.
"The Scroll of Ages, has the Fey King's True Name and will help me save the boy who helped me escape from the fairy realm," I explained quickly. Lily nodded slowly, a calculating look in her green eyes.
"All you need is an expedition treaty and your Uncle Bill will be able to find it?"
"He's the best curse breaker Gringotts has so probably," Artie answered. Lily smiled.
"Great, because my Mum works for the ministry and she might have some connections she can use to get the paperwork through. I've got to head to class, give me the details when you've heard back from your uncle," Lily said, sliding off the chair and heading out of the hospital wing. Artie watched her leave.
"Who was that?" he asked. "I'm pretty certain she'd not a Weasley."
"Uncle Harry's daughter. She's right, her mum does work for the ministry. This might just work after all," I stated, wondering how it would be possible to sneak onto the expedition and find the scroll.
