Internal Deception
Chapter 22nd
It was an hour's drive to reach the Pro Gun Shop five miles away from the prison. The Gun shop wasn't going to close for at least another two hours. Torres parked the vehicle with Mcgee next to him across the street from the gun shop.
There was a great deal of foot traffic along with a number of customers going and coming out of the gun shop having to be popular. "I am hoping Torres that this lead will pan out for the most part." Mcgee says with moving out of the front seat of the vehicle to begin walking across the busy street dodging in and out of traffic moving slowly.
Torres opened up the front to head inside looking for the front desk finding a older grey hair man working the computer terminal with a register near it. He looks up to see the two agents showing their badges to him. "Are you the owner of this gun shop?" Mcgee asked with placing his I.D. away to take out a photo of the warden.
"I am for the last 15 years. How can I help the both of you?" Mr. Greeley age 63 replied with his response.
"Do you happen to know this man Mr. Greeley?" Mcgee showed him the photo of the warden.
"I sure do Agent Mcgee. He purchased an A-K 47 weapon with silencer a week ago. I have the receipt on file for where he paid by credit card. I would be happy to give you a copy of the receipt since he does work at the prison not far from here."
"Yeah, we know about it since he's the warden, sir." Torres says with turning to look around the gun shop with all of the fancy weapons on display.
"Did you notice anything out of the ordinary about him, Mr. Greeley?" Mcgee asked watching for his reaction.
"He seemed rather nervous with purchasing the weapon and bullets, otherwise there was nothing else I can remember. And he was alone since he did parked his black jeep in the front of the gun shop.
"If you come up with anything else please call us at these numbers on the business card." Mcgee said with handing him the gun with Torres following behind. Once inside the call, Mcgee pressed send to connect him to Director Vance.
"Vance, Mcgee did you find out anything at all?" He asked sitting in front of the F.B.I. director Jack Mcgill once again.
"The warden purchased the weapon a week ago along with a Fifty thousand dollar amount transferred into his private bank account sir. What's the next step sir?" Mcgee asked turning to face Torres anxious to get moving.
"Go get him Mcgee and please be careful. I have the director of the F.B.I. here in my office. He's offered to help as well as backup. He's sending officers as with the regular police of that area. Good luck gentlemen."
"Thanks, we will need it director." Mcgee ended the call to have Torres to begin driving and quickly as possible to beat the F.B.I. agents.

The warden wasn't going to stay alive much longer. He was watching through the blinds when he saw the police, F.B.I. and N.C.I. up to his apartment building. He wasn't able to handle it any further holding his weapon in his hand.
Having written a note to leave for the police and his reasons why. He placed the gun nozzle against his head fired twice to knock him against the chair he was sitting in and blood sprayed all over the living room.
Hearing the gun shots in the hallway. Torres, Mcgee and the rest of the personnel ran to break down the front door the apartment to find his body and the note.
"We're too late!" Torres made the announcement in disgust with his tone and demeanor.
"Call Ducky and Palmer to get down here quick and have his body brought back to the autopsy bay for N.C.I.S." Mcgee ordered even though he was going to have a issue with the F.B.I.
"Right away Mcgee." Torres pulled out his phone to call them.
NCIS ...Naval Yards
Director Vance was having an earful from the F.B.I. director Jack Mcgill on the phone now. "Your team had no right to order my agents out of the area to have your medical examiner Doctor Milliard to bring the body back to the Naval yards." He steamed over the phone from his office.
"They had every right since it's our case from the very beginning. Look Jack, I just need you to understand so that we can close this damn case and get my agents back onto the job, especially with Special Agent Gibbs."
Thinking about it for the moment, along with trying to calm down before having a heart attack. "All right Leon, I will overlook it this time. Just be sure to send me a full report on the autopsy."
"I will be sure to Jack. Good night." Leon checked the time. Palmer and Doctor Milliard should be back with the body. He decided to check for himself with taking the elevator down to the autopsy bay.

AUTOPSY BAY
Doctor Palmer had started on cutting open the body, while Doctor Milliard was on the computer terminal signing in to begin with his notes.
Turning around on his chair to ask Palmer a question. "Doctor Palmer did you check his palm prints for a proper I.D.?"
"Yes, I did Doctor Milliard and it's the warden. Ballistics was confirmed by Casey to be the weapon used on Hussein and himself." Palmer said with Ducky still feeling something is not just right. "What's wrong doctor?
"I just can't seem to feel something just doesn't fit as to why the warden would actually shoot Hussein while disabling the security cameras of the cell block." He stated with rubbing a hand over his head with the facial mask below his mouth.
"This is why we need answers doctors." Director Vance said from the entrance of the autopsy bay.
"We are trying director. Hopefully we will know something once we start with the autopsy." Doctor Milliard responded to his request.
