Chapter 24 Broken Heart

Sora's POV

I was sitting outside in the garden when Kairi came to sit next to me.

"Hey", she started as she sat down. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine", I replied. "I'm just worried about everyone. I hope they're okay."

"I'm sure that they'll be fine", Kairi stated.

"Still", I started. "I wish I could've gone with them. Speaking of which, I've been wanting to ask you about that. Why didn't you go with everybody else?"

"Because I promised I would stay with you remember", Kairi replied. "Besides, I was worried that you were going to get yourself into trouble if you were alone."

"Hey", I started in defence. "Would not!"

"Ah huh", Kairi said in disbelief. "Sure."

Before I could say something else...I felt immense pain in my heart!

"Sora", Kairi said in concern as I clenched onto it. "Are you okay? What's wrong?"

"I don't know", I replied. "But...I think something terrible has happened."

"I wouldn't say that it was terrible", I heard somebody say. "In fact...it's actually a blessing in disguise."

After I heard this I looked up...and couldn't believe my eyes.

Standing in front of me was...the Master of Masters!

"You", I said angrily as Kairi and I stood up. "What did you do?"

"Now now", the Master of Masters started. "Don't be like that. It's like I said, what I did was actually a blessing in disguise."

"What do you mean", Kairi asked angrily. "What did you do?"

"Well", the Master of Masters started. "Let's just say that Yozora is going to finally get what he wants and get to see Suta again. Just...not in this life."

Hearing this caused Kairi and I to look at the Master of Masters in disbelief.

"It can't be", the former said in shock. "No."

"Yozora", I said before looking down sadly.

And then...that sadness...turned into anger.

I summoned my Keyblade before glaring at the Master of Masters.

"You have caused enough pain", I stated. "I won't allow it anymore!"

With that...I charged at the Master of Masters...but when I did...something happened.

He...plunged his hand into my heart!

"Sora", I heard Kairi yell.

Then...the Master of Masters pulled something out of my heart before dropping me to the floor.

I looked up at it in shock...and couldn't believe my eyes.

He was holding...the Crystal Heart!

Then...he did something I couldn't believe.

He...crushed the Crystal Heart with his hands!

I could only watch in horror as it turned into shards.

"There", the Master of Masters said. "No there's nothing that can stop this world from falling to darkness."

After the Master of Masters said this...he disappeared into a Corridor of Darkness.

"Sora", Kairi yelled in concern as she ran up to me. "Are you okay?"

"No", I replied. "The Crystal Heart is gone."
