EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI
Part 4: Unexpected Allies
The mission has begun. Molly, Gil, Goby, Deema and BP-2 manage to reach the imperial fleet that protected both the Second Death Star and the forest moon of Endor. Thanks to the imperial ship they were using and the code the imperials accepted that the ship enter the moon, since they thought it was their ship. But Darth Krader had learned something. Gil Gordon was on that ship. But he decided that the officers would accept that ship and he would take care of that matter himself. As the team landed the ship in the Moon Forest, Gil looked concerned. He felt that his father Krader knew where they were. But for the moment, he did not comment on it. They were on a bigger mission. Gil would take care of that later.
Molly, Gil, Goby and Deema descended from the ship along with a squad of rebel soldiers. They had to investigate the area to find the shield generator and then call reinforcements for a possible ground attack. They were stealthily walking through the woods. At that time they hid when they saw some lobster troopers scouts.
"This sector is highly protected" Molly said.
"What if we turn around?" Deema asked.
"It would take hours. We do not have much time" Gil replied.
"This won't end well if they find us" Goby commented seriously "I have a idea. Molly and I will take care of those soldiers. Gil and Deema stay here for anything"
"Be careful, Goby. There can be a lot of lobsters troopers" Gil adviced.
"Easy, Gil. Those subjects have the worst aim in the galaxy" Goby smirked and winked. Deema rolled her eyes a little.
Molly and Goby sneaked through the trees and bushes to avoid the soldiers while Gil and Deema supervised the place from a hill. The soldiers were on their watch. Molly motioned for Goby to approach one of the soldiers slowly. Unfortunately, Goby stepped on a branch causing noise. The Lobsters Troopers took notice and one of them attacked Goby hand to hand. This soldier ordered his partner to leave and report to the spies. The companion managed to escape along with two other lobster troopers in their speeders (they looked a bit like motorcycles) Molly decided to help Goby while Gil and Deema took other speeders that were there and started a fierce chase in the forests of Endor.
"Deema, we must shoot them down before they warn others of our presence" Gil said.
"All right. Let´s go!" Deema answered determined.
The chase was very fast and frantic. High speed was a danger. You could hit a tree and explode. And that was dangerous because the place was full of trees, logs and large rocks. Gil and Deema quickly followed the fleeing lobster troopers. Gil and Deema hit the speeders of the imperial soldiers, which was not very easy. The first lobster trooper was easily shot down. There were still two. Then two more lobster troopers appeared in their speeders with the intention of knocking down our protagonists from behind with the speeder´s blasters.
"Deema, take care of the two in front. I'll take care of the two in the back" Gil proposed. She just nodded. Gil quickly reversed the ship to stay behind the two Imperial soldiers who attacked them from behind. Gil fired the speeder's gun and shot down both speeders separately.
Deema on the other hand was behind the subjects she was following from the start of the chase. She managed to get between them. Deema pulled out her blaster pistol and shot down one of the pilots. There was only one left. The one that remained pulled out her gun and they both started shooting to finish each other. The imperial soldier shot the Deema speeder's engine. She decided to jump off the ship because it was going to explode. Luckily she fell safe but a little hurt. The soldier for trusting himself a lot did not notice that there was a tree in front of him and he crashed into it. And then explode. The bad thing is that Deema was now lost in the middle of the forest.
Gil returned to where Goby, Molly and Bubble Puppy were.
"Arf Arf Arf" It licked Gil. BP-2 was worried.
"Gil!" Goby and Molly said at the same time.
"And Deema?" Goby asked.
"What! Didn't she returned?" Gil was surprised.
"She was not with you?" Goby asked bothered. He was worried for her. We know it.
"We had to separate" Gil answered "We have to find her"
"All right. Troops, we will meet at the shield generator. Keep on patrol. We will be back" Molly ordered. The rest nodded and obeyed her. Gil, Molly. Goby and BP-2 started their search for their friend Deema.
Deema started to open her eyes. It seems that she was unconscious after the fall. The first thing he saw was something very peculiar. It was a small brown fish with an orange hood pointing a primitive spear at her. Deema stood up slowly when she saw that it was a very small creature to harm her. The little fish got a little scared and pointed his spear again.
"Don't worry, little one. I will not harm you" Deema said that while sitting on a fallen log. The little fish decided to approach her a little suspicious of her, but he lowered his weapon and stayed next to her "Well ... it looks like I'm stuck here. Also, I don't know where I am….Maybe you can help me" She complained. The little hooded fish didn't trust her yet. Deema kindly offered him some food. He came over and ate a little.
"Well, it would be better to leave before more lobster troopers find us" Deema proposed. The little fish agreed with her and decided to guide her through the forest.
While all this was happening we will look at the Second Death Star. Specifically in the Emperor's Throne Room. This place was a little dark with a great observatory. Darth Krader entered that room thanks to an elevator. There were a few royal imperial guards. And of course, sitting on his throne was the Emperor himself.
"I told you to stay on the command ship" The Emperor said.
"A group of rebels managed to penetrate the shield" Darth Krader reported.
"Yes I know. I felt it too" The Emperor said without any worry.
"My son...is with them" Krader added.
"Are you sure?" The Emperor asked confused.
"I felt his presence" Krader answered very sure about it.
"It's strange. I couldn't feel him. I hope your feelings are clear on this, Lord Krader" The Emperor said in a strange way.
"They are clear, master" The apprentice said.
"Then you must go to the moon and wait for him" The master ordered.
"He ... will come to me?" Darth Krader asked.
"So I have foreseen. His compassion for you will be what will destroy him. He will come to you and you must bring him to me" The Emperor ordered.
"As you wish, my master" Darth Krader bowed to him.
We return to the moon of Endor. Molly, Gil, Goby and Bubble Puppy continue their search for their partner Deema. Along the way they encountered lobster troopers killed by blaster and their destroyed speeders.
"Arf Arf Arf" BP-2 barked sadly.
"Sorry, Gil. But Bubble Puppy can't find Deema. Not even with its radar" Molly said.
"(sigh) I hope Deema is alright" Goby said worried.
"Me too, buddy" Gil answered.
"Arf Arf" Bubble Puppy barked excited.
"Boy, do you find something?" Gil asked.
"Arf Arf" BP-2 went away finding its objective.
"Wait us!" Gil shouted. The rest followed Bubble Puppy. Unfortunately, it was just a dead animal perched on top of a stick. That looked very suspicious.
"Agh...It just a animal….But it looks...suspicious" Goby said. The four approached it.
"Oh no...Look out!" Molly shouted but it was too late. They set up a trap. A net fell on them and caught them.
"How is it possible that we fell into such a basic trap?" Goby complained.
"Arf Arf" BP-2 was sad.
"Don't worry, I got this. I just have to use ... this!" Gil had a hard time taking his own green lightsaber. He turned it on and cut the net that had them trapped. Gil put out his weapon and put it away "You saw, it was easy" Gil smirked very confident.
"Emmmm Gilly….." Molly pointed something strange. The three guppies were surrounded by several small fish with hoods. Many were orange, brown, white, black. Everyone was aiming at them with spears, slingshots, and rocks. They spoke in a very strange dialect.
"Molly, you have studied extraterrestrial languages. You know what they say?" Gil asked.
"I don't know. Their language is unknown to me. It seems a very primitive language" Molly analized. The mysterious beings continue to point their primitive weapons at them. When Bubble Puppy got up and barked a little, they were shocked and started to kneel before the droid.
"Arf Arf….Arf?" BP-2 was confused.
"Little buddy, what are they saying?" Gil asked.
"Arf Arf...Grrrrr...Arf? Arf Arf" Bubble Puppy barked.
"And what?" Goby asked confused.
"It said says they think Bubble Puppy is some kind of god or something" Gil translated.
"Ugh ... Great" Goby complained.
Then Gil, Molly, and Goby were tied up by the little inhabitants. And they took them to small villages in the treetops. While BP-2 was carried on top of a wooden throne by his followers. Molly and Gil were tied to sticks while Goby was tied to another stick on top of what was to be a campfire. It seems they are trying to eat Captain Goby first.
"I have a bad feeling about this" Goby said.
"Arf Arf Arf" Bubble Puppy barked trying to communicate with the little fishes.
"Boy, what are they saying?" Gil asked again. The droid barked again explained everything. "That's bad!"
"What's happening, Gilly?" Molly asked worried.
"It seems that the three of us will be the dinner in honor of Bubble Puppy" Gil was worried too.
"Oh oh" Molly and Goby said. The little fishes was preparing everything for the ritual. In this moment, Deema appeared in front of them. She wasn't tied.
"Deema!" The three guppies shouted happily.
"Listen, little ones. You cannot eat them. They are my friends" Deema tried to negotiate with them. But they ignored her. She was a guest for the villagers, but they did not obey her. Deema noted that they revered BP-2 "Bubble Puppy, tell them they have to be free"
"Arf Arf Arf" Bubble Puppy barked. But they continued.
"I bet that didn't help. Do something before they eat me first" Goby was pressed. Gil smirked. He had a crazy idea. Molly noticed it.
"Gily, what are you planning?" Molly asked.
"Just look. Bubble Puppy! Tell them that if they don't release us, you will get mad and use your magic" Gil proposed with a confident smile.
"Arf?" Molly, Goby, Deema and even BP-2 were confused.
"Just tell them that. I know what I do" Gil said confident.
Bubble Puppy barked saying that to them. At first the little fish were concerned but continued to prepare the campfire to cook the first of the guppies, that is, Goby. At that moment, Gil decided to close his eyes to focus. Without using his hands (because they were tied) he managed to make the throne where BP-2 was sitting float through the air thanks to the power of the Force. There the villagers were scared because they believed that they made the robot cub angry, since they believed that the droid was a god. That forced the little fish to release Molly, Gil, and Goby. Upon being released, Goby and Deema ran to hug and kiss each other without caring that Gil, Molly, BP-2 and all the villagers were watching them. Gil and Molly giggled and they hugged Deema too Gil and Molly giggled and they hugged Deema too while BP-2 was adored by the little fishes.
From that moment on, the team ceased to be objects of sacrifice to be guests of honor. The villagers let them spend the night with them. They were all gathered in a main house where Bubble Puppy told them with barking and acting so that they understood the situation. Since the mission of Tatooine, the Death Star I, the conflict of Yavin VI, Hoth and Bespin. I mean, everything the team had been through. In this way, BP-2 convinced them to help the Rebel Alliance to destroy the shield generator.. Thus they won unexpected allies. Goby and Deema were hugging while listening to the stories. Remembering the good, bad, happy, angry or sad moments that they have passed since the day they met. But what about Molly and Gil? ... We will see that topic later.
