MUJŌNA

Mujōna and Muzan stood in a newly created chamber that would soon become a nursery. The expecting couple were looking through pamphlets about nursery themes.

"Oh, I love that shade of pink!" Mujōna exclaimed.

The color was a dusty, yet brazen shade of pink. It was a ghastly shade, especially for a child.

"Heh... Let's just stay in the neutrals, shall we? This shade of white is lovely," Muzan said, pointing at a color pallet of blacks and whites.

"I feel like white and black are such boring colors for a child, Muzan."

"We don't know the gender, so let's just stick to basic themes. Black and white are traditional colors. Black stands for authority and sophistication, and white stands for purity and in—"

"How about a pastel theme, like Easter? That's gender neutral and soft; perfect for a baby!" Mujōna squealed. "What do you think?" she said, caressing her bulging stomach.

Their child didn't respond.

Smirking, Muzan said, "See, he doesn't favor your ideas." Then he lovingly caressed her stomach and said, "Would you prefer my idea, little one?"

Mujōna gasped when their unborn child kicked in response.

You can't be serious!

"There's our answer," he laughed.

"Well, since you're the Chief Interior Designer, I'm naming her!"

"Very well. I'm certain that you'll pick a fine male name."

Mujōna scoffed. "It's not a boy, Muzan. She's a girl! I feel it in my bones."

"Let's make a deal. If our child is female, I'll change her diapers for a month. If he's male, then you'll do… something, I presume."

Liking the deal, Mujōna agreed. "Okay, deal. Prepare your nostrils!"

The loving couple continued picking out items and ideas for the nursery.

ENMU

Enmu, Kyogai, and Mukago hid and waited for a few hours until the slayers were finished with their training. The slayers started to disperse and go about their day.

Mitsuri and Obanai went to a secluded part of the garden.

"Mukago, keep an eye on them. Kyogai, open the portal. I'll be right back," Enmu said. He manipulated his body and slithered into the cabin where Yushiro was located.

Yushiro laid on the floor of the dark cabin, sleeping. His nose twitched as he dreamed. "L-Lady Tamayo… I didn't eat that squirrel, I swear…"

Enmu squirmed out of a crack in the floor. Then he stood over Yushiro as the demon slept.

Oh, it looks like I won't have to use any force.

Just as Enmu moved to grab him, Yushiro shot up, grabbed his arm, and pushed him away.

"Ha! I smelled you a mile away, Enmu!" Yushiro hissed, baring his claws and fangs.

Smiling blissfully, Enmu said, "Don't make this harder than it has to be, Yushiro."

"You're not taking me anywhere, you evil—"

Before Yushiro could finish, Enmu manipulated his arm and slashed through the roof of the cabin. Sunlight poured in and burned Yushiro without mercy.

"Argh, I'm burning! Ahhh!" Yushiro cowered into the remaining shade. The sun's rays had scorched a good portion of his flesh.

"Calm down, Yushiro. I'm not here to hurt you, but I will if you don't comply," Enmu cooed. "Be quiet and come with me." Smiling, he extended his hand as the sun shined down upon him.

His flesh still sizzling, Yushiro said, "H-how the hell are you standing in the sun? Oh my fucking God!"

"Maybe you'll find out if you come with me." Enmu slashed through the roof again, allowing even more sunlight to enter.

Yushiro's shade was obliterated, so he burned and screamed in agony.

Oops, he's a little too loud. I must handle this quickly.

Enmu manipulated his flesh to wrap around Yushiro like a cocoon, which protected him from the sun's harmful rays. Then he dashed through the air towards the portal.

Upon seeing them, Kyogai widened the portal.

"The slayers didn't notice anything suspicious, Enmu. Should I make my move?" Mukago asked.

Enmu peered through a crow's eyes and saw Kanao walking back to the training area by herself.

"A change of plans. I'll handle her as well," he said. Enmu dashed and slithered to the training area, then climbed up a large tree. He looked down and saw Kanao standing under him a few feet away.

Oh, she's pretty! I'll be careful with her.

Kanao was reading a book as she walked around. Once she was under the tree, Enmu struck. The demon manipulated his flesh into something like a spider's web and captured her.

Before Kanao could scream, he covered her mouth with an elongated hand. She struggled violently as he lifted her to his level.

"Hi, Kanao! Don't be alarmed; I come in peace."

Kanao started to bite his hand and thrash, causing the tree to shake.

"Oh, Kanao, your behavior just won't do! I was hoping that I didn't have to do this, but alas," Enmu sighed. The mouth on his hand began singing one of his dark tunes, lulling the petite slayer to sleep.

Kanao felt her eyelids getting heavy, then succumbed.

Wonderful. One more to go!

Enmu delivered the incapacitated slayer to the portal.

"The remaining slayers are still oblivious, Enmu," Mukago said.

Enmu peered through the crows' eyes again and searched for Mitsuri. The pink-haired slayer was still in the garden, cuddling with The Snake Pillar.

Aw, how cute!

"Mukago, go to the garden and distract them. I'll capture her."

Nodding, Mukago stealthily sprinted towards the garden with Enmu trailing behind her. Once they reached the garden, they hid behind trees and shrubs.

"I mean, I wouldn't mind having a baby. Like, a boy or something. A girl too, not that I have anything… against girls," Obanai bashfully muttered.

Mitsuri laughed at his adorable embarrassment. "Having a baby must be so cool! If I was expecting, I'd like to name it something cute like Ren or Sakura."

"I like the idea of mixing names. Like the names Riko and Sora could be combined and become... Soriko."

"Woah… that's so cute," Mitsuri gasped. She turned to him with a dreamy look in her eyes. "That's a really cool idea, Obanai."

Obanai blushed behind his bandages, which made her giggle. The couple held hands and twiddled their fingers together.

"This is the most disgusting shit I've ever seen," Mukago whispered.

"Well, I think it's beautiful," Enmu replied dreamily. The demon imagined Mujōna and Muzan behaving like that in private, which warmed his heart. "Ready when you are."

Mukago pounced into some other shrubs yards away, making a loud rustling sound.

{Rustle.}

Then she used her kekkijutsu to manipulate other plants, which caused the two slayers to frantically look around.

"What's going on, Obanai?" Mitsuri said. On edge, she held his arm tightly as many plants started shaking.

"I'm not sure, but I'll protect you!" Obanai exclaimed.

Then Mukago created an illusion of a dark figure darting through the trees.

"There! I see it. It's a demon. Mitsuri, wait here!" he said. Obanai followed the dark figure deeper into the garden. "First Form: Winding Serpent Slash!"

Fidgeting, Mitsuri anxiously clutched her sword as she waited for Obanai to return.

Now's my chance.

Before she could react, Mitsuri was trapped in Enmu's flesh. The demon formed a cage around her and began dragging her back to the portal.

"Ah! Let me go! Obanai, help—"

Enmu covered her mouth and continued dragging her towards the portal.

Acknowledging that Mitsuri was successfully captured, Mukago ended her manipulation tactics and ran towards the portal.

"All clear!" Kyogai said. The three demons went into the portal and returned to the demon realm.
