chapter 18 - Just Like Starting Over
THE NEWLY REUNITED COUPLE HEAD DOWN THE STAIRS HOLDING HANDS, HYDE GOES TO HIS USUAL CHAIR AND PULLS JACKIE DOWN ON HIS LAP AND HOLDS HER TIGHTLY, SHE LOOKS AT HIM AND SMILES FEELING LIKE SHE'S BACK WHERE SHE BELONGS.
DONNA:
(Smiling at her friends) Finally.
FEZ:
I'm so happy for use!
JACKIE:
Thanks for putting up with us guys.
DONNA:
(Jokingly) Were just used to use by now.
JACKIE:
Hey!
STEVEN:
(Laughs) Well this night didn't turn out to bad after all (gives Jackie a kiss) How about a circle to finish it off.
THE OTHER THREE ALL NOD THEIR HEADS AND DONNA AND FEZ MOVE INTO CLOSER POSITIONS. JACKIE STAYS ON HYDES LAP.
JACKIE:
(To Steven) I'll roll baby.
STEVEN:
(Just looks at her) Is there anything you don't do now. What kind of a trip did you go on?
JACKIE:
One of a kind.
STEVEN:
Well I hope next time I'll be invited.
JACKIE:
Of course well unless you marry another stripper.
STEVEN:
(Groans) I'll never hurt you like that again I promise doll. I guess you'll never let me forget that.
JACKIE:
(Puts on a fake thinking face) Maybe in the far future but hey at least that means I'll still be here.
STEVEN:
(Whispers in her ear) That's what I'm hoping.
THEY START MAKING OUT GETTING INTERRUPTED BY A COUGHING DONNA.
DONNA:
As happy as we are that you guys are back together can we please have a circle now.
THEY ALL SIT AROUND LAUGHING AND MAKING JOKES JUST LIKE OLD TIMES.
DONNA:
God I miss Eric.
FEZ:
Me to and Kelso I wish he'd come visit more often.
JACKIE:
I'm sure we'll all be back together soon.
STEVEN:
Hey guys did you all hear about the car that runs on water, It runs on water Man.
DONNA AND FEZ GROAN, WHILE JACKIE JUST SHAKES HER HEAD GIGGLING AT THE MAN SHE LOVES. THE OTHERS HEAD OF NOT LONG AFTER LEAVING STEVEN & JACKIE TO SPEND SOME ALONE TIME TOGETHER. SHE GETS OFF HIS LAP AND HE GRABS HER HAND AND LEADS HER INTO HIS ROOM. THEY END UP HAVING ANOTHER CIRCLE JUST THE TWO OF THEM THIS TIME.
STEVEN:
Jeez babe you'll be able to keep up with me soon.
JACKIE:
Well I did just come back from California ya know.
STEVEN:
(Nods his head thoughtfully) True is the weed as good as they say it is down there?
JACKIE:
Yea it is. You'd love it down there. We'll have to go for a trip one day.
STEVEN:
I'd love anywhere as long as it was with you.
JACKIE:
(Smiles at him with pure happiness) Awww pudding pop your being so sweet. (Kisses him) I love when your like this.
STEVEN:
(Looks a bit awkward) Well I'm really trying her doll, I've got a lot to make up for and I really can't lose ya again. Now quit hogging that and let me have some please.
JACKIE:
(Giggles, and kisses him again passing over the joint) This is all I ever wanted Steven. I didn't want to get married straight away I just wanted to know how you feel and if you could see yourself still with me in like 5 years.
STEVEN:
Yea I kind of figured that out after you left, even more so when your mum turned up, I realized you just wanted some certainty in your life.
JACKIE:
Yea I mean I had some time to think to and I went about it all wrong especially after all the crazy wedding stuff, which I'm sorry for pudding pop. You know funny enough I don't even think I want to get married anyway. It's just the ideas I got forced on me as a kid, I mean you can love someone without all that.
STEVEN:
(Feels his heart go cold, he'd always secretly thought marriage might be cool looking at what Mrs. and Mr. foreman had) Of course you still wanna get married your still Jackie Burkhart.
JACKIE:
I know I just don't see the point anymore ya know. Lets just drop this and enjoy the moment baby. That's what really matters.
STEVEN STARES AT HIS DOLL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT'S EXACTLY GOING THREW HER HEAD. SHE WAS STILL THE SAME IN SOME WAYS BUT IN OTHER WAYS HER MORE CYNICAL APPROACH AND REBELLIOUS ACTIVITIES MADE HIM A LITTLE CONCERNED. HE HAD REALLY AFFECTED HER EVEN MORE THAN EVERYONE COULD SEE. HE FROWNED BUT COULDN'T THINK ABOUT IT FOR TO LONG THOUGH AS JACKIE STARTED LIGHTLY KISSING HIM. THEY MADE OUT FOR A LITTLE BIT, THEN JUST HELD EACHOTHER INTILL THEY DRIFTED OFF TO SLEEP.

THE NEXT MORNING HYDE WAKES UP CONFUSED FOR A START AS HIS ARMS ARE AROUND SOMEONE. BUT HE SOONS RELAXES AND BECOMES REALLY HAPPY WHEN HE REMEMBERS IT'S HIS DOLL. HE LEANS OVER AND KISSES HER CHECK AND THEN HER FOREHEAD THEN NOSE INTILL SHE WAKES UP SMILING AND KISSES HIM BACK.
JACKIE:
Morning.
STEVEN:
Morning baby. (kisses her again) You look so beautiful.
JACKIE:
You don't look so bad yourself. Did you sleep ok?
STEVEN:
Better than I have in a long time.
THEY LAY THERE CUDDLING SOME MORE OCCASIONALY KISSING.
STEVEN:
Do you wanna risk it and go up and grab some breakfast?
JACKIE:
We better not anger Mr. Foreman this early in the morning. I'll get changed and pop out and have a smoke as I haven't had one in way to long and then I'll come threw the sliding door and met you there.
STEVEN:
You smoke?
JACKIE:
Yea
JACKIE KISSES HIM AND HEADS OUT. HE LAYS THERE TRYING TO PIECE TOGETHER EVERYTHING, SHE SMOKES, HAS DONE DRUGS OTHER THAN POT, DRESSES DIFFERENT, HAS TATTOOS AND SEEMS TO DRINK QUITE ABIT. WAS THIS ALL BECAUSE OF HIM, HE HOPED SHE HADN'T CHANGED TO TRY AND IMPRESS HIM, HE'D HAVE TO TALK TO DONNA & FEZ LATER AND SEE IF THEY HAD ANY IDEAS. HE DIDN'T MIND SO MUCH WELL THE APPEREANCE AND THE MOTORBIKE, HE DIDN'T LIKE THE HEAVY DRINKING & SMOKING TO MUCH BUT THAT SHIT EFFECTS HIS DOLLS HEALTH. HE LOVES HER FOR WHO SHE IS ON THE INSIDE AND HE HOPES LIKE HELL SHE KNOWS THAT. HE GETS UP AND GETS CHANGED AND HEADS UP THE STAIRS TO FIND HIS DOLL ALREADY SITTING AND CHATTING ENTUSASTICALLY WITH THE FOREMANS.
JACKIE:
(Kisses him as he sits down) Morning Pudding Pop.
RED:
(Laughs) You let her call you Pudding pop.
KITTY:
Red Foreman don't you pick on Steven I think it's cute. (Points at him with a warning finger) I'll tell them my old nickname for you..
STEVEN:
Do tell Mrs. Foreman.
RED:
Don't you dare. Everyone just eat your waffles.
KITTY:
Oh I'm so happy we are all eating together again. We really missed you Jackie Dear.
JACKIE:
I'm happy to Mrs. Foreman.
THEY ALL FINISH UP THEIR BREAKFAST AND STEVEN HAS TO HEAD TO WORK, JACKIE KISSES THEM AND THEY MAKE PLANS FOR HIM TO STAY AT HERS & FEZ'S FOR THE NIGHT. THEY KISS AND HE HEADS OUT. JACKIE SPENDS THE DAY HANGING OUT WITH MR FOREMAN FIXING THE CAR THEN AFTER LUNCH HER AND MRS FOREMAN MAKE EACH OTHER DIFFERENT KINDS OF COCKTAILS TO DRINK AND CATCH UP ON GOSSIP. FEZ PICKS UP JACKIE LATER THAT NIGHT AS HE FINISHES BEFORE HYDE AND IS HAPPY HIS GODDESS IS GONNA BE HOME AND HYDE WILL BE HANGING OUT TO.
FEZ:
So my goddess what are we gonna do for tea tonight?
JACKIE:
Pizza? I think there's spose to good movie on tonight as well.
FEZ:
Sounds Perfect.
JACKIE:
Fezzy I should of asked first but you don't mind Steven staying over do ya?
FEZ:
Of course not it's gonna be exciting having two of my friends around most the time instead of some crazy flat mate (shudders at some of the memories).
JACKIE:
I'm so happy I'm living with you Fezzy your one of my best friends.
THEY GO AND ORDER A PIZZA AND ABOUT 5 MINUTES LATER THEY HEAR A KNOCK ON THE DOOR.
FEZ:
Ugh can you answer the door I can't be bothered.
JACKIE:
Well I can't be either
FEZ:
It's most likely your boyfriend.
JACKIE:
He's your friend
THEY GO BACK AND FORWARDS LIKE THIS FOR A LITTLE WHILE LONGER.
FEZ:
(Shouting across the room) Come in!
HYDE ENTERS
STEVEN:
You guys realize I could of been anyone right.
FEZ:
(Waving his hand in dismissal) Eh we decided to take that risk.
HYDE SHAKES HIS HEAD AT THE TWO SITTING ON THE COUCH MAKING HIS WAY OVER TO JACKIE AND GIVING HER A KISS THEY CUDDLE UP ON THE COUCH AND THE TRIO WATCH A MOVIE AND EAT THE PIZZA TOGETHER HAVING A CIRCLE AND A COUPLE BEERS ALSO. JUST ENJOYING A RELAXING END TO THEIR BUSY DAYS.
FEZ:
Well I'm tired and got to deal with more beautiful demanding lady's tomorrow so I shall say goodnight.
STEVEN:
Night man
JACKIE:
Night Fezzy.
HE LEAVES AND HYDE TURNS TO JACKIE WITH A SMIRK ON HIS FACE AND PICKS HER AND SWINGS HER OVER HIS SHOULDER CARRYING HER TO HER ROOM. SHE LAUGHS AND PLAYFULLY HITS HIM.
JACKIE:
Steven put me down! Steven!
HE GENTLY PUTS HER DOWN ON THE BED AND THEN CLIMBS ON TOP OF HER AND AND GENTLY KISSES HER LOOKING IN HER EYES FOR REASSURANCE THAT SHE WANTS THIS TO. SHE KISSES HIM BACK GENTLY AND THAT GIVES HIM THE ANSWER HE NEEDS. HE MOVES HIS KISSES DOWN HER NECK AND THEY BOTH CAREFULLY UNDRESS EACHOTHER STEVEN PULLS JACKIE ONTO HIS LAP AND SLOWLY ENTERS HER SHE MOANS AND THEY START MOVING BACK AND FORWARDS TOGETHER BECOMING ONE EMBRACING EACHOTHER AND KISSING HEAPS THEY BOTH QUICKLY COME TO THEIR CLIMAXES. THEY MAKE LOVE A COUPLE MORE TIMES THAT NIGHT. FALLING ASLEEP EXHAUSTED IN EACH OTHERS ARMS.
