And I'm back. Thank you for the hilarious and supportive reviews. Yes, Ayanna snapped. So, let's see if she's learned anything!
Discalimer: Don't own Boondoocks
Discovery and the Aftermath
Huey and Riley stopped in front of a small, stand alone mortar building. This had to be the place; it was the only psychiatrist office closest to their neighborhood, particularly Ming's house.
'Wholistic, Patrcia Woods Phd' the metal sign read. The brothers walked into what seemed like a house, the kind of design psych's would use in the movies. The walls were painted a light blue, and paired with the soft lights of lamps giving off a peaceful ambiance. The furniture was modern, and plants adorned every other corner of the room.
"Good morning, may I help you?" A smooth even voice called, getting their attention. There stood a tall, dark skinned woman with long locs held up in a bun, sprinkles of shells throughout her hair. Her gold brimmed glasses complimented her small frame as well as the purple pants suit she wore.
Huey looked at Riley, signaling to start the plan. But Riley was so struck by her beauty, he forgot his line.
"Girl, I need help."
Huey wanted to smack the shit out of that boy, really? She just chuckled.
"Helping is my profession. I give out free first sessions to all people of color, especially the underage, such as yourselves, though I must let your parents know you come here. I won't tell them anything you tell me of course." Ms. Woods smiled as she walked closer to the boys.
"Riley Freeman." He stuck his hand out, she shook it gracefully, "And this is my brother, Huey."
"Huey." She smiled warmly. She reminded him of Penelope from way back when. God, it felt like a long time ago that he left from Chicago, despite it only being a few years. He hasn't been writing her as much as he used to, Cairo neither…but he sorely missed them both.
"Is this a group session or separate?"
"Group." The brothers answered in unison. She motioned them to come into the back where the sessions were held. It was that room that looked sort of more like an office, and Huey spotted her file cabinet, no doubt Michael Caesar's file in there. Now, all that needed to happen was for the plan to be further executed. She was getting their files together at their desk when Huey spoke up,
"Ms. Woods, do you know a Micheal Caesar?" She looked up, her glasses sliding down her nose slightly,
"I do, he's a regular here, are you familiar with him?"
"…Very. He's a dear friend of mine. He speaks highly of coming here so I figured I gave it a chance." Huey said evenly.
"Mental health isn't taken seriously in the black community, and psychiatrists are looked at as the plague. I try to keep my sessions as affordable as possible for my people. You wouldn't believe the lack of presence people of color have in this profession. I'm glad you took him up on his recommendation."
Riley was sitting on the couch as Huey continued to stand, eyes locked on that cabinet. Once she was done filling out her papers she walked over to the chair that sat a few feet away from the couch and sat down.
"So, start! What is on your minds? You can speak for an hour." She urged. Riley began talking almost immediately.
"There's this girl I use to bully a lot right? I find my feelings towards her changing. She's a weird person and I can't really understand her."
Huey inwardly groaned, yeah this was a part of the plan but he was not in the mood to hear this! And out of all the things he could've talked about, it would be that. Huey knew he should've given a subject before going in there.
"Why you say you can't understand her?"
"She wears black a lot; she's what white people call 'gothic' and whatever."
"I've seen them at malls; did you ever try to understand? Most people express themselves in a variety of ways; maybe you bullied her because of that? You didn't understand her expression?"
"Yeah sort of, then soon after she told me it was about honoring her dad…I backed off after that, because I lost my parents too…" Riley said trailing off. Huey faced him, realizing this was the first time in years he's ever heard Riley speak on it.
"Truthfully, I get sad, I'm not like Sofia or even my brother….I was really young when they passed. I barely remember what they were even like. If it weren't for pictures, I would've forgotten what they looked like…my memories are few and far in between."
That shit stung Huey…and it made him feel like a piece of shit. All this time he was going on about how he felt, he never really thought about how it affected him.
"Riley, why didn't you come to me with this," Huey asked, Riley shrugged.
"You didn't like talking about our parents, neither does granddad so…" he looked down at the carpet sadly. So he chose not to express himself.
"See! This is exactly what I mean. Depression comes so easily to our community because we hold things in! I'm sorry you lost your parents so soon." Huey placed his hand on his brother's shoulder.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't there for you like a brother was supposed to be, I was so caught up in my own shit, I didn't even think it bothered you like this."
"It does Huey," Riley looked at him. The session was getting so deep so fast; none of them notice the initial knocking on the door. Ms. Woods jumped up.
"Oh! That must be another customer, hold on boys, I must see to that person. She briskly left the room, closing the door behind her. Huey immediately jumped up and went for the file cabinet. He had his handy dandy lock picking device. It didn't take Huey long to break into the cabinet. His eyes scanned the manila folders as he came across the C's.
"There you are." Huey eyed his prize and snatched it out. The voices got louder towards the door and Huey hurriedly closed the cabinet and made his way back next to Riley. When the door opened their mouths nearly dropped to the floor.
It was Caesar, and he didn't look any amused to see them there.
"Huey, Riley." He said flatly, looking infuriated but trying to save face. Riley jumped up and stood beside Huey. He was about to say something when Caesar spoke again,
"So…was this were you two were? You missed all the magic."
"Magic?" the brothers asked in unison, confused. Realization hit them and they didn't say anything and just rushed passed the pair. When they got outside they made their way to the bus station, the walk was quiet until Huey talked.
"Hey, what you were saying back there…I really am sorry."
"Yeah it's cool. I ain't no bitch though I was just-being honest, you know? Anyways we got to read that folder and find out what happened. We turning our phones back on?"
"…No." Huey shook his head. Magic or not, that situation had to wait.

Cindy was searching the earth for Sofia as if she had the cure to cancer. She wasn't home, Ming wasn't home, were they all at Jazmine's? She rapidly knocked on her door. This wasn't a conversation to be had over the phone; she wanted to see someone in person about it.
"Jazmine!"
"Cindy!" Jazmine shouted back, equally animated. Cindy pushed past her and spun around.
"You mind telling me what the fuck happened?"
"Shhhhh! Cindy! Watch your mouth, my parents are in the kitchen, they could've heard you. My room, come." Squeezing her hand, she lead Cindy up to her room and told her what happened from the very beginning. Even down to Huey and Caesar's part in the whole thing.
"WOW! You know what? That means Ming was right about that dude, how do you feel about this? All things considered…" Cindy eyed her. Jazmine shook her head.
"Disappointed. And it's clear he skipped school on purpose, his phone is also off. I think it's cowardly to hide from this mess. No wonder Daphne felt a way…I don't think I can blame her anymore." Jazmine sympathized. The only thing she did wrong was drag everyone else into her line of fire. Huey was the only person she should've dealt with. He didn't even tell her about this, Jazmine was as in the dark about the situation as Cindy was right up to the climax of Daphne's teeth getting smashed down her throat.
"Do you know what happened to Ayanna?" Cindy asked. Jazmine faced her sadly.
"She's expelled, Cindy."

While grateful they were allowed in, Ming and Sofia were surprised Ayanna's mom even let them in the house. She was ranting about Caesar and the sisters to her husband, and was saying…not so savory things about them. Ming and Sofia weren't…black so it was extremely awkward hearing the things she was saying, much less repeat it.
"Excuse my mom; she's what American blacks would call a self hater. My dad and I always noticed it but never really said anything. Although he tries to curb her thoughts about American blacks almost all the time. His family doesn't like her all that much." Ayanna said boringly, not looking away from her laptop. She was looking at the new school she'd be going to. It wasn't that far from Woodcrest so she could walk there after her school let out.
"Yeah well, you know we're here for you through thick and thin. It's not like we won't be able to see you." Ming smiled.
It will be different. Ayanna won't see them in the hallways; at lunch…they won't be there. She doesn't regret what she did, far from it, she just regrets her actions cost her being in the same building as her friends. Her dad grounded her; her mother stood by her and defended what she did. That was what they were currently arguing about downstairs. Ming and Sofia were allowed to see her but only for an hour and their time were almost up.
"So you guys still down for what we're going to do with Ceasar?" Ayanna was done with her laptop. Ming and Sofia gasped and looked at each other then back to their friend.
"You still want to do that?"
"Yes, why wouldn't I? The cost of my sins is expulsion, and I've only paid half with Stacey and Daphne. I need to erase my wager, without Caesar I'm in debt."
It was semi scary how calm and collected Ayanna was through this whole thing, even now, she referred to not carrying out her plan as a debt.
"Well I mean…sure we can still do it for you but how? You don't go to the school anymore." Sofia felt an adrenaline rush. The plan Ayanna had in store for Caesar was secret and if Sofia were to describe it…it was downright diabolical. The only reason it didn't go down at school was for obvious reasons. She got to the sisters first.
"He made a fool out of me, a complete fool. People would call me crazy for what I did today? Well…they should get a load of what I'm about to do to him. I'll forgive and move on…when it's all done and I'm left satisfied. I've only put a scratch down, not the whole mark."
Ming jumped up, excited now, "Well Ayanna if that's how you feel, let's go ahead and nail this son of a bitch!" she yelled, but not so loud that the parents heard. Sofia chuckled.
"I am surrounded by psychopaths…but you are my friend…so I will do as you wish. All there is left now is to plan how you want this to go down my dear." Ayanna smiled darkly.
"Then let us scheme…ladies. My plan has to be…revised. But let's be quick, you'll have to leave in a few."

Huey and Riley were up on the hill, staring at the folder.
"I'm nervous Huey. My palms all sweaty and shit, what if he ate raw goats or something?"
"Riley he's black and from New York."
"That doesn't mean anything anymore! Last week, a classmate told me he had caught his cousins' doing it over his aunt's house. I was shocked because we aren't living in Arkansas and we have melanin!"
"Riley please, please…shut up." Huey opened the folder and began reading, Riley peering over his shoulder to read as well. Riley made a noise after they were done reading all the grisly details.
"That's some messed up stuff…I knew it was gonna be bad but not that bad. Damn…."
Huey was too horrified to pay attention to him. He had such a horrible past….it made Huey feel even more like an ass to still sulk over his parents. Was he really that spoiled? He knew bad things happened...he always said everyone dies…but what about people who had to live through…this? He had an abusive mother that abandoned him and tossed him in the trash, only to abuse him when he was given back. He was taken into the care of his aunt but that was much later and by then he was accused of killing a neighbor's dog, but it's noted that he told Ms Woods he's killed other animals after that. His aunt doesn't know about those killings.
'I really was self involved…' Huey thought to himself. He left Riley out of the grieving and his nihilistic, pessimistic views on life didn't stop others from having it worse than him. This did not excuse what Caesar did but he now understands why he's so screwed up.
"Damn….that shit high key sad. Ms. Woods can't fix this. No body can fix that." Riley shook his head. He reached into his pocket and turned his phone on. Text messages flooded his phone.
"Aww hell. Huey folks been trying to reach us. I wonder what happened." He scrolled through the texts until one in particular caught his eye.
"Ayanna's been expelled?"
Huey snapped out his trance and looked up at him.
"What?"
