Thankfully this week isn't as crazy as last week, which is ironic since I had school yesterday. *sips a pineapple drink* Ahh, I definitely needed a load off...

If you've read my profile, then you'll know that Mondays are really the only day I have classes now. They've made so many changes to my schedule that I hope it stays that way, going one day a week will give me more time to do assignments. And it means more time to write! I'm so ready for the Big Hero 6 series to come back next month!

Summary: The king and queen tell the story of how they met. PS, this is entirely speculation on my part, so it should not be considered canon. I repeat, this is not canon because I really don't know how they met XD

Rapunzel is smiling as she's looking at Herz Der Sonne's journal, looking at the currently three signed couples: Eugeen and Rapunzel, Harmony and Varian, and Frederic and Arianna. And the reason why she's looking is because tomorrow is another Day of Hearts. She's just making sure every page was intact. She invited Cassandra to come, but with her opinion of the holiday, it was a question of whether or not Cassandra would even want to stop in just to celebrate. She heard that Staylan and her new boyfriend Brock Thunderstrike would stop by to sign the book, though, and she already knows her parents are going to sign it again.

Even if last year, they had their memories erased, didn't have a great date, and had to deal with a giant sea serpent on a rampage...

Oh, and King Trevor and his nephew showed up, with the two of them trying to woo her mother and her sister respectively. And then Varian had to deal with his jealousy issues before swooping in to save Harmony from being married off.

Did she mention that she and Eugene also had to try and bring the romance back into her parents at the same time?

"I hope that this year, we can have a normal Day of Hearts, Pascal," Rapunzel states with a small sigh. "Well, normal as it was before I returned home. As in, no sea serpents, no Saporians in disguise, and definitely no Trevors!" She crosses her arms in annoyance at the last reminder. Thankfully, Equis and Corona are at peace right now, and Trevor has left Corona alone for the time being.

Pascal gives two encouraging thumbs up to her, squeaking. "You're right. I got this. And I just know that there are a lot of couples who'll sign the book!" She clasps her hands eagerly, thinking about Harmony and Varian.

No, she was not setting them up this year...she promised she wouldn't. But Harmony did assure her that she and Varian have plans for the holiday so that she doesn't have to intervene like she has for the past 2 years.

Last year was something she'll never forget even if she wanted to.

"You know...Mom and Dad never told sis and I how they met," Rapunzel taps her chin in thought. "We just knew that they were different. Maybe if we ask, they'll tell us!"

"Harmi!" Rapunzel peeks into the girl's lab. She lifts up her head from her little nook, Varian sitting next to her. "Oh, hi Varian! I thought you were still working."

"I'm done for the day. I wanted to see Mona since I've been busy installing the water system for Galcrest for the past few days," He smiles lovingly at the brunette and she blushes, smiling too. When it was announced that Corona was thriving because of this project, other kingdoms immediately stepped in, wanting the same achievement for their own lands. A bunch of letters came in, asking how it was done. And it took Harmony, Varian, Rapunzel, and Eugene almost 2 weeks answering all of them back. All he's been working on lately is giving other kingdoms the same treatment, not that he minded. Now other kingdoms will be using his inventions!

"She scolded you for being in the lab again for so long, didn't she?" Rapunzel hums in amusement, earning a small huff.

"Well...yeah, but I caved in! I love her too much to forget about her..." He crosses his arms, pouting like a child. The younger brunette chuckles at him, closing her book.

"What's up, Punzie?" Harmony stands up, walking over to her sister.

"Have Mom and Dad ever told you about how they met while you were in the castle for so long?"

"Huh...good question," She rubs her chin as she thinks about all the memories she had with her parents before Rapunzel came along. "No, they never did, and I never asked. I was too focused on...other stuff," She clears her throat awkwardly.

And by other stuff, she means talking to an imaginary friend that turned out to be the same demon who put Corona underneath a freaky snow storm...

"Oh," Rapunzel blinks at her, cringing a little. "Well, since tomorrow is the Day of Hearts, why not ask them to celebrate!"

Thankfully, since they have their memories back, they would be able to recount it.

"Mm, good idea. There's no harm in it, right?" She looks over her shoulder to Varian, who shakes his head no.

"No, their memories are being restored gradually, but at the impressive rate they're at, the effects of the Saporian memory wand should be reversed completely."

"Come on, guys, let's go!" Rapunzel grins, grabbing their arms and pulling them out of the lab. They run right past Eugene and Lance.

"Hey Blondie-"

"Eugene, come with us!" Rapunzel smiles over her shoulder.

"Is there a buffet?" Lance rubs his hands and they get no answer in response. Eugene shrugs, running after them. As they run into another hall, they pass right Kiera and Catalina's room. Hearing the noise, they peek out the door.

"What's going on?"

"Can we come?!" Kiera calls out.

"The more the merrier!" Harmony calls back and they chase after the group. They run past servants, Nigel, and guards before skidding to a stop right in front of the king and queen themselves. They just happen to be in front of their bedroom, which the two were about to enter.

"Oh! Hello everyone," Arianna greets them with a smile.

"May I ask why you're rushing?" Frederic places his hands behind his back.

"Um...well, I asked Harmi if she knew how you guys met," Rapunzel starts off, earning stunned looks from the two. "And she said she didn't know, and since you guys have your memories back, I thought that you wouldn't mind...telling us? Tomorrow is the Day of Hearts, after all!"

The two glance at each other with a knowing smile. Then they look to their daughters as they have puppy-eyed looks.

"Very well. We shall tell you."

Rapunzel squeals slightly, preparing herself for a cute love story.

All of them are sitting in the throne room, watching as Frederic and Arianna sit in the thrones that they used to sit in, before Rapunzel and Harmony took over as co-queens.

"Well, I met Frederic when we were young, here in Corona. He was the prince of Corona at the time, since he was a descendant of Herz Der Sonne..."

A young Arianna was riding through Corona, and her face said something was on her mind. "I was so different from anyone else, especially from my own kingdom. It was after I was allowed by my parents to go and explore the world. I had just returned to shore from an adventure, which involved pirates, treasure, and smuggled parrots. But that's a story for another time. I was popping in for a visit when I saw them."

She and her horse came to a stop.

"Them?"

"Well, your father and...well..."

"How can you ever shame yourself by being entranced by...eggs?" A young Prince Trevor sneered at Frederic as they were near a tree. Frederic was sitting down in front of the back, holding up two eggs to examine.

"How could I not, Trevor?" He asked, looking between them. Most found it odd, but they knew better than to question a habit that was sure to pass in due time. The only reason why he was entertaining Trevor right now was because he knew that his rival would do anything to try and phase him. But just like other times, Frederic just usually ignored him and held his head up high. Even if sometimes his rival was a little childish. "They're just so oval and white..."

"Excuse me?"

The two turned straight to Arianna and their eyes went wide with awe. She looked very beautiful, and so different from them. Frederic definitely was not a fan of riding, and Trevor preferred seals. But there was something...charming about this woman in front of them.

"Did you say you're a collector of...eggs?" The idea was definitely absurd, but she had been through much worse.

"W-Why, yes!" He stammered, snapping out his stupor, holding them up for her to see. Trevor blinked and glared at the display. "They're-"

"Such a bore, aren't they?" Trevor pushed past him and smiled up at Arianna. "I, for one, prefer a good thrill every now and then! Please, beautiful creature," He took a hold of her hand, about to kiss it. "I must know your name..."

She snatched her hand away and he fell onto the ground in front of her horse, who rolled her eyes with a snort.

"Arianna. Princess Arianna."

"Ugh, Trevor," Harmony has a scrunched up look on her face. Despite the fact that he's left Corona in peace, bringing him up was still clearly a sore subject. Especially for a certain alchemist...

"Even back then, he was still a wooer," Rapunzel crosses her arms. Along with Uncle Monty, Trevor has become one of the people that she dislikes, which isn't saying a lot nowadays given her history with other criminals...

"And his nephew is still a coward," Varian points out with a mischievous smirk, crossing his arms. Getting the last word from him was something he'll never forget—especially since he's assured by Harmony whenever he's down that she loves him no matter what.

"Yes, Trevor and I had been petty rivals for a while," Frederic sighs a bit. "He was always trying me to show my competitive side, but until we met Arianna, I had always ignored him. From then on, he was always trying to outdo me to impress her."

"Oh, my Arianna~!"

She turned around from an apple tree to see Trevor holding four bushels of them with his bare hands. "Have you ever seen such perfection?"

"Yes. This egg is nothing I've ever seen," Frederic spoke up, causing the brunette to smile softly at him.

"Oh, what would you know, Frederic?" Trevor sneered at him as Arianna threw down apple after apple without looking. However, they all hit Trevor on the head.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Trevor!" She called out apologetically.

"It was only...an accident..." He walked away to get a rag for his head.

"So...eggs, huh?" She slid down the tree, sitting next to him.

"Well...yes," He replied awkwardly, putting them down. He then looked at his hands, feeling very inadequate compared to her. She was always doing something thrilling, and he was just...an egg collector. No doubt she would pay attention to Trevor more than him. He had all the riches, the charm, and he had no qualities that stood out to her...

"I think it's...different," She grinned, planting her hand on top of his. He looked up at her in shock. "And different is always good."

He smiled softly at the girl.

"Aww!" The two daughters squeal in unison.

"That's so cute," Harmony smiles at the story.

"I think all of us could agree with that motto," Eugene wraps an arm around Rapunzel and Varian nods in agreement slowly. After all, he and Harmony are very different from each other, and yet he stood out to her. He's just glad that she still found a person within him, and not a criminal like others thought when he started to redeem himself.

"Over time spending with your father, I knew that my old adventures would be over...but that I could start new ones," Arianna smiles softly. "So I thought why not stay in Corona for some peace and quiet. And then days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and I realized...that there was another reason why I wanted to stay."

Arianna was looking at various weapons from the blacksmith, Xavier, smiling at the craftsmanship. Looking at them reminded her of her adventures. She had been all around the kingdoms, but none of them had stood out like Corona...

Probably because of a certain prince.

There was more to Frederic than what he displayed. Yes, he didn't like thrills, would rather stay home than do anything risky, and probably wouldn't go into a fight, but he balanced her out. Out of everything she had done, she needed a calm lifestyle from now on. Even though at first they didn't have much in common, she loved how passionate he was about keeping true to his egg collection, and they both loved to read. Sometimes she would even read to him from her journal. And even though he was skeptical, he liked hearing about her various adventures.

"Oh, dearest Arianna!"

She smiled in amusement as she heard Trevor call her name. She turned around to the prince holding a baby seal in his arms.

"I was thinking, you don't want to experience the drag that is Corona. Why not accompany me back to Equis, where we can chat and gaze upon the wonders of our love?"

"The offer is...tempting," She glanced away, not wanting to hurt his feelings. "But...I don't know, something about Corona...maybe it's just what I needed. I've had so many adventures," She held up her journal. "That...maybe it's time to settle down. Get married, have a family...share my experiences with a child, or two."

"Oh?" Trevor asked in interest, thinking that she was talking about him. "Did you have anyone in mind? Perhaps a prince with everything you could ever want? A dashing, handsome man that would sweep you off your feet?" He grinned, gesturing to himself.

"Well...I wouldn't say that describes Frederic, but-"

"Frederic?!" Trevor exclaimed in shock.

"Yes. His knowledge of eggs may not be my style, but...there's something about him," She smiled lovingly.

"But-but—why would you want boring Frederic when you could have me?!" He gestured to himself.

"The heart wants what it wants, Trevor. I hope that somewhere deep down, we can still be friends."

"Arianna!" One of the guards ran up to her, smiling. "The prince wishes to meet you tonight. By the way he sounded, it's important!"

"Thank you," She smiled and watched as he ran off. Trevor's face fell as he realized something: he was going to propose to her! And there was nothing he could do to change her mind...

As she walked off, he narrowed his eyes, clenching his fists.

"Mark my words, Frederic...you have made an enemy today!"

"And so, we were married, and...well, you all know the rest," Arianna chuckles slightly.

"So you two were always destined to be together!" Rapunzel smiles happily. It was a shame that at first, the queen didn't really remember why she loved him, but at least they know that she saw past his...hobbies.

"I didn't know you were just a visitor, Mom," Harmony smiles too, hugging her knees.

"Well, Corona was my last stop...and eventually my home," She takes a hold of Frederic's hand, the two smiling at each other. Eugene smiles at Rapunzel's adoring look towards her parents. Even though the two had no idea of what would happen to their daughters later in their lives after that, he could tell that the love between them was still strong.

"And I couldn't be happier," Frederic agrees with her and the others start asking questions out of excitement, wanting to hear more of Arianna's adventures. All in all...

To them, attacks from demons, memory loss, and the trouble they had to endure with both their daughters...

They have the perfect life.
