By the way, had to switch over from Blogspot for a little but since some of the episodes have subtitles that are incomplete and make no sense. Luckily I found a subber group that seems effective for the later episodes, and I won't have to rely on Blogspot for Amazon and likely beyond. Disclaimer: I don't own Kamen Rider, Angel Beats, or any other referenced media.

Chapter 25: Not-So Gentleman Thief
At the Domoto Theoretical Physics Laboratory, two boys were practicing baseball. One boy accidentally hit the ball right through the nearby window. However, Professor Domoto himself didn't seem to be angry. In fact, he invited the boys into his lab, offering them something to eat. The two boys gave their names as Norio and Takashi. As they dug in, they fell unconscious, the food having been laced with a sleeping drug.
Domoto took out something from one of the tribal masks on his wall. It turned out to be one of the remaining seven pieces of the blueprint of the RS Device, sent to him by his old friend Nanbara. Through the letter Domoto learned of his friend's passing, and what GOD planned on doing with the device. He swore to honor his friend's final wish and keep the blueprint safe until it could be used for good. However, there was one hitch.
He was dying of cancer. He had no other family, no wife or children, and he was very old. Therefore, he had to resort to drastic measures in order to insure that the blueprint could be protected. He spun another of the relics on his wall, opening the nearby bookshelf like a door, revealing an entrance to his secret lab. "I'm truly sorry for the danger you boys will have to go through," he said, "But this is necessary for the safety of the entire world."
Deep inside his lair, King Dark addressed Beetle Lupin. "How goes the search for the remaining pieces of the blueprints?" "It's a rather slow process," Beetle Lupin admitted as he removed his top hat, "But even as we speak one of my beetles is gathering information from across Japan." "They had best do so quickly," King Dark said, "Don't forget that the Kamen Riders and their allies in the Battlefront are also searching every corner of Japan."
Domoto had the two boys placed under a device with their shirts removed, their backs to the device. "I'll have to use my Alpha Ray to transfer the blueprint onto their backs. I may be remembered as a worthless person because of this horrible act. But if it means protecting the planet, then I'll just greet the devil with a smile." He placed the blueprint into the Alpha Ray and moved into position. He turned it on, and the Alpha Ray burned the image of the blueprint into the boys, which could only be seen by a special filter.
Meanwhile, the Riders had finally found a clue to the seven pieces, which Yuzuru showed to Tobei. "This is a picture of Nanbara at a science convention," he explained. Tobei looked at the picture. "It looks rather old." Yuzuru nodded. "It aught to. It was taken twenty years ago. What caught my eye was this man right here." He pointed to a man standing rather close to Nanbara. It was a younger version of Domoto.
"We already identified Domoto thanks to Deep Blue," Yuzuru said, "He was Nanbara's mentor, and someone he respected more than anyone. If anyone was going to receive a piece of the blueprints, Domoto would certainly have." "Uh, Yuzuru," Tobei said, "I think we have a spy in the window." He pointed to large kabuto that could be seen shadowed in the curtains. "That's the same kind of beetle that stole the piece we tried to keep from Scorpion Geronimo," Yuzuru noted.
"I've managed to come across a good piece of information," Beetle Lupin said to King Dark, "An individual who likely has one of the blueprint pieces has been identified." King Dark chuckled. "As expected of a Villain Monster crafted from the DNA of France's famed phantom thief, Arsene Lupin. Who is this individual?" "Doctor Domoto," Beetle Lupin replied, "He was apparently Nanbara's old mentor."
Domoto had finished burning the blueprints, leaving the markings on the boys back as the only copies left. "Alright boys, time to get up." The boys stirred awake, unaware of what made them fall asleep in the first place. Domoto offered the rest of the sweets to take home and sent them on their way. "Now the blueprints are in the wind," he said. He came back inside and found one of the large kabutos. The beetle started to glow, and Beetle Lupin appeared. "Greeting, Doctor. I am Beetle Lupin of GOD's Villain Army!"
"As in the thief?," Domoto asked, "I see. So you're here for the blueprints. I'm sorry to say they aren't here." Beetle Lupin chuckled. "Don't play the fool with me." He knocked out Domoto and had his Warfare Agents search the place. "This task is simplicity itself for one who inherits the skill of the infamous Lupin." He used his x-ray monocle, and found the letter behind the tribal mask. He then struck it down with his top hat, which was designed with a sharp guillotine blade.
"As I thought," he said as he was handed back his hat, "A letter from Nanbara." However, he was shocked to find that the blueprints he was expecting weren't in it. He got Domoto up. "Where is the blueprint!?" "We were just wondering that ourselves," Kanade called out. Beetle Lupin looked around and saw the five Riders surrounding the room. "How do you like that?," Ayato said, "Looks like we got the drop on a phantom thief. Usually it's the other way around." "Pretty sloppy for someone using the DNA of Arsene Lupin," Yurippe taunted.
An altercation began which quickly moved outside, as the five heroes quickly started dispatching the Warfare Agents. Beetle Lupin struck with his rapier, Yuzuru dodging out of the way before using an Agent as a human shield. "You guys really should learn to not do that," Yuzuru taunted, activating his Ridol. The others activated their own devices. "Henshin!" "Set Up!" Now in their Rider forms, X got out his Ridol Whip to duel Beetle Lupin.
Proving to be Beetle Lupin's equal, the beetle monster decided to retreat and leapt to a nearby bridge. "Adieu, Kamen Riders!" He disappeared. "Let him go," SSS said, "We need to check on Doctor Domoto." Unfortunately, Domoto was dying, likely from his cancer getting aggravated during the attack. He tried to tell the Riders where it was, but died before he could get it out.
That's when Beetle Lupin appeared. "Looks like neither of us will be getting information out of him. But this is the essence of being a phantom thief. A true battle of wits against a worthy foe. Let us see who can find it first." He disappeared again, laughing as he did. Life then noticed a baseball glove on the couch. "Hold on… Domoto didn't have any family. So what is this doing here?" "Is there any clue to who owns it?," Eyez asked. "Yeah, a name patch sewn into it," Life said, "A kid by the name of Norio. Let's see if he knows anything."
They started looking through all the playground baseball fields they could find. Hideki soon found Norio when the kid recognized his glove. "So you visited Domoto, then?," Hideki asked. "Yep," Norio replied, "He gave me and Takashi sweets just this morning." "Did he give you anything else?," Hideki asked. Norio shook his head. "I see," Hideki said, "Where's your friend Takashi?" "Over by the pool just that way," Norio said.
As Hideki thanked him and hurried off, one of the other kids spotted a kabuto on Norio's shoulder. Norio carefully picked it up, then threw it into the ground, revealing it to be mechanical. However, it quickly repaired itself and Beetle Lupin appeared. He quickly grabbed Norio and made off with him. He had the poor boy strung up by his legs. "Now then, boy. Did anything strange happen while you were at Domoto's home? And don't bother lying."
"I told you!," Norio said, "Nothing like that happened! I mean, me and Takashi fell asleep after we had eaten some of the sweets, but we were playing really hard before then, so…" "Fell asleep?," Beetle Lupin said, "Something must have happened during that time." Meanwhile Hideki had joined Ayato at the pool to look for Takashi. They found him soon enough. Takashi was a little older than Norio, and was able to tell more about what happened. "So yeah, we both fell asleep right after eating the sweets Domoto offered us."
Ayato noticed something drawn on Takashi's back. "Hey, what's this?" Hideki looked, and saw it was part of the blueprint they were looking for. "So that's it! While Takashi was sleeping, Domoto must have used some sort of ray technology to tattoo it onto the skin here!" "The sun's UV rays must have exposed the otherwise invisible ink!," Ayato realized, "Acting like a special filter!" They had Takashi jump back in the water, but shortly after he went in he was grabbed by Beetle Lupin. Of course, he sent up a letter to inform the Riders of this.
However, it wasn't long before the other Riders were racing after the thief, Life and Eyez quickly joining them. They forced Beetle Lupin to stop his car, but he got away using a special smokescreen emitted from one of his beetles. He then proceeded to use more of the sun's rays to reveal the blueprints, which was naturally painful for the two boys. Luckily for them, Beetle Lupin opted to simply take a picture of the blueprints once they were fully revealed instead of having their skin removed.
The camera was an old-fashioned one that used magnesium phosphorous to make a flash, which promptly got in Beetle Lupin's face. "You idiot! Just give me the film." The Warfare Agent made to do so, only to have it snatched out of his hands by the Ridol Rope. "How's that for ironic!?," X called out, "I just stole from a phantom thief!" The other Riders then leapt in. "And now we're about to take one out!," Life declared.
The Battlefront moved in, taking out Agents and getting the two boys to safety. Life got out his Soul Bat to attack Beetle Lupin. "What kind of duelist are you!?," Beetle Lupin demanded. "I'm not!," Life retorted, "I'm a baseball player!" He quickly knocked Beetle Lupin's rapier out of his hand, then tried to bash him, only for the thief to disappear from his cape. Beetle Lupin took his hat off. "Try my Guillotine Hat on for size!"
"No thanks!," Life said as he dodged it, "Looks a little small for me!" The hat struck of the head of a nearby Warfare Agent. Life then leapt into the air, life energy flowing through his leg. "Soul Charge!" He hit Beetle Lupin with a flying kick, sending him flying off the building they were on. "Hat's off to you!," Life said, decapitating Beetle Lupin with his own Guillotine Hat, causing him to explode. Life made a motion like he was tipping his own hat. "Forevermore… Adieu."
"In the end Beetle Lupin proved to be all talk," King Dark noted, "Now I need to find someone who can make up for his failure." A starfish monster dressed as a German officer approached. "Starfish Hitler reporting for duty!" Meanwhile, Takashi and Norio had the blueprints removed using the Sigma Ray in Deep Blue, while the picture of the blueprints was used to recreate them in paper form. The Battlefront now had two pieces, but they had to find the other six and retrieve the one GOD had.
To be continued…
Yep, next chapter we get into the most infamous monster in all of Kamen Rider. And I know just what to name the chapter. Read and review.
