I apologize for being late in updating this, but I knew that I wanted this Chapter to be the one to set everything in motion, and in doing that I knew it was going to be the longest one, so I hope this makes up for skipping a week. Hope you all enjoy it. Let me know what you think because I really do enjoy the comments.

Regina and Emma had awoken on cloud nine the next day with feather kisses over the skin and roaming hands. They had taken their morning bath together and the smiles on their faces refused to leave.

It was contagious so everyone at the breakfast table and even in passing couldn't help but smile when in the presence of the two.

When Emma dropped Regina off at her lessons with Rumple, they both touched their mark over their clothes as they did their parting kiss.

Rumple had looked over at them and smiled. When they finally parted he squeezed Emma's shoulder and winked. He could feel the energy, he already knew without having to see the marks. And even though they had expected it given they could tell he knew, he didn't tease like he usually did. His loving eyes glanced between them and he said nothing. He just smiled and playfully told Emma to get, so he and Regina could do their lesson with no distractions.

But there were still distractions as the couple found out they could now send energy to one another, little tingles to rush through the body and they continued to do this throughout the day.

That's where she was when Rumple had stopped mid-sentence with a furrow in his brow as his head turned to the window.

And that's when Regina heard Emma.

"Regina, Mal's home."

In an instant, she took hold of Rumple and transported them to Emma.

Rumple looked at her and nodded in thanks

"Oh lovely, Regina can watch me beat you and have Rumple heal your wounds!" Mal laughed

"Mal if we fight, we are using the training swords. I refuse to hurt you!" Emma yelled

"Why? We always fought with our swords and daggers. You don't trust me?" Mal smiled innocently

"At the moment? No." Emma deadpanned

Mal's smile dropped at once but she nodded to the request.

Emma's soldiers that she was training brought out the carved wooden swords to each of them

Everyone gathered around and watched as Mal snatched the object out of the recruit's hand while Emma smiled politely and nodded to them when both recruits looked at her worriedly.

"Mallory there is no need for this," Rumple announced, irritation in his voice

"You don't see why because you never liked me anyway!" she growled

"I loved you as my own until you started behaving like a brat and didn't grow out of it. Even now I still love you, though you irritate me." Rumple stated

Emma put her head down to hide her smirk and when she looked up through her eyelashes at Regina, she could see her biting the inside of her cheek to hide her smile

"Come on Swan!" Mal yelled

With that, she nodded and they began to circle each other. Both eyeballing the other's movements.

While Emma walked calmly, Mal smiled maliciously. Her whole body shaking with her heavy breathing

"You know, I've learned a lot while being gone. About fighting and magic," she stated and lunged first but Emma smoothly counteracted it without batting an eye. As when they were younger, Mal's competitive side raged and controlled her movements.

Again and again, Mal lunged and attacked first, all just for Emma to bat it away without a flinch. She was in her fighting mode. It wasn't like when they were kids and she had fun. She knew Mal wanted to harm her and in a way, steal Regina, she was focused and analyzing all of the dragon's movements in slow motion, seeing the attack before it came. She had to protect her Queen.

Mal finally stopped for a second to catch her breath and growled, sweat dripping from her forehead.

"Whoever taught you more fighting skills with a sword was not a good teacher. All you are doing is lunging at me. How many times have I told you that doesn't work." she scolded

"I didn't come back for a lecture!" she roared

Emma sighed, "Mal I don't see the point in this. I don't wish to hurt you."

"You already have hurt me, Emma! You took the one I love."

"She chose me Mal!" Emma finally snapped, she had tried being patient long enough.

"Only because you seduced her while I was away!"

"We've been together since I got home from my mission Mal. Since the ball!" she admitted

"So you stole her after the very night I told you I loved her!" she snarled

"Damn it Mal!-" she yelled

"No! You stole her right after I told you! You betrayed me! What kind of sister does that! You hurt and betrayed me, now you pay!" she shouted and within a flash, she charged at the wolf. Grunting as she swung again and again at Emma.

The young blonde dodged each swing. To everyone else, it looked as if Emma was dancing on air from how lithely her movements were to Mals.

Until finally Emma spun her sword around Mals and disarmed her. The wooden sword went flying as Emma held her own to Mal's throat.

"You done?" Emma asked

"Not quite." Mal smiled and pulled her dagger from her side, thrusting it towards the blonde's stomach.

Everyone gasped and Regina tried running forward, only to be caught by Rumple because Mal was now armed and unpredictable. And even with Emma's fast reflexes, she moved only enough that the dagger embedded itself into her side.

Emma grunted but didn't fall. Instead, she tackled Mal to the ground and made sure to sit on top of her, with one hand securing both of the older blondes hands above her head.

Using her right hand, she pulled the dagger out, tossing it to one of her recruits.

And since she had the ability to heal quickly as a wolf, all of her past wounds had turned into scars within seconds, she expected this one to close as soon as the blade was out.

"What was the point of that Mal? You know I heal." she sighed

Mal smiled, " you're so sure?"

Emma furrowed her brows and looked down to see the wound still open and blood soaking her shirt

"What did you-?" she breathily started to ask but Mal just grinned

With Mal disarmed, Rumpled allowed Regina to be released. As soon as he let her go, she ran over and instantly put her hands over the wound where a light shone from her palms in an attempt to heal it herself.

Rumple walked over to the recruit with the dagger and took it from him when he saw that Regina's magic wasn't working

"What did you do?!" Regina screamed. She watched as Emma's eyes flutter and even herself felt faint when the blood kept running out of the still opened wound

"Dark magic. My teacher taught me more of that than the sword skills because what's the point in the barbarian fighting when you have an advantage. It's a potion I covered my blade with. I made it so your wolf and Regina's magic couldn't heal you, seeing as you corrupted her mind enough for her to try and save you." she smiled

"Why" Emma panted

Mal leaned up ever so slightly, "she can't choose you if you're not around."

She turned her head to Regina, "Don't worry Regina, we don't need a wolf as our champion. I can protect you. You will be mine." she cackled maniacally and with that she teleported herself, leaving Emma to fall to the ground.

"Emma!" Regina hovered over her

Rumple put the blade to his tongue, tasting the potion and spit out the remnants.

"It's a mutation of a poison called Dreamshade, poisoning her abilities and body. Mals right, your light magic won't heal her," he informed them as he walked over, kneeling right next to them and replacing Regina's hands with his own.

"What are you doing?" she sniffed

"Dark magic heals that of harm done by dark magic" he softly stated and hovered his hand over the wound. Dark light shone from his palm and a black mist covered the wound. When it dispersed, the wound was closed, only a scar darker than the rest of Emma's silver-colored ones, remained

Emma opened her eyes and shot up, "where's Mals?" she looked around, eyes wide

Regina pulled Emma into her body, kissing her cheek and wrapping her arms around her torso

"She's gone, though forgive me, I have to test something." Rumple grimaced but at Emma's nod, he took Emma's dagger from her shin holster and sliced her arm.

When the wound closed up instantly, he sighed in relief.

He looked at the dark dagger in his other hand, Mals dagger, he looked at Emma. She knew what he was doing and at another nod, he did the same but with Mals dagger.

This wound did not heal and when they tried Regina's magic, still it would not close until Rumple used his own magic.

"Well good news, the potion doesn't stay in your body so with any other weapon, you still have your abilities. Bad news, Mal now has a potion that will hinder your abilities that could kill you if she so chooses to dip her weapon in it and strikes you just right and even your mate cannot heal you." he sighed

"You said dark magic heals that of inflicted dark magic. Teach me." Regina asked

"Dark magic has the potential to darken your soul, Regina. I cannot do that." he looked at her solemnly

"Emma is my light. Teach me! I won't turn dark." she pleaded

Rumple sighed, "I will discuss this with your mother first."

"I am not a child! I want to be in the room when this is discussed, this involves me and my mate and I will not be left out. It is my decision!" she declared

Emma and Rumple both looked at each other in concern, but nonetheless, he nodded

"Very well."

Later that night, they sat in the library. Rumple and Cora discuss with each other while sipping their tea, David pacing in front of the fireplace as his wife and Regina sat next to Emma on either side of her. Snow caressed her back while Regina cuddled into her side. Hestia sat in an armchair with the worried expression on her face that had become a permanent state for her since the first day Mal left.

They all waited for Rumple and Cora to finish whatever they were talking about. Hoping that it would be informational enough to settle their nerves

Finally, after what seemed like ages, Rumple nodded to the older woman and stood, all eyes fixing on him in an instant.

"So what's the diagnosis doc." Emma smiled sheepishly, hoping to lighten the tension in the mood even if it was her life that was threatened earlier that day

" Well, we know what the poison was. What the cure for it is. Though the most troubling part is where it comes from."

"Why does that matter? Mal used it, that's all that should matter." David paused his pacing to say

Snow shushed him from her spot

"Well considering the fact that Dreamshade only comes from one place and only one person can get ahold of that, who just so happens to have an ulterior motive we know about, I'd say it matters." Cora sniffed and sipped her tea

Rumple motioned his hand to her, " Precisely"

"So who could she have gotten it from?" Hestia asked in a low voice

"My sister," Rumple stated

"You have a sister?!" Emma and Regina asked simultaneously in shock

"Estranged sister, but sister nonetheless and we do not get along as we used to when we were younger." Rumple sighed

"What happened?" Regina asked

"We were being taught magic. Both light and dark. But the thing is with magic, it comes with a price. It chooses you." he grimaced

"We know that. That's why you only taught us light and to know how to defend against the dark. Only using dark for last resort and maybe not even then." Regina nodded

"Exactly and that is because dark, it's like a drug with the way it makes you feel. And in the process, darkens your heart if it's used unjustly. Makes you crave more power. It takes a price on your soul and turns your soul dark. Nothing but an angry power-hungry vessel" Cora added

"But you are known as the dark one. You saved me today. You're not that." Emma furrowed her eyebrows in confusion

"How do you suppose I earned that name little one?" He asked gently

She opened her mouth but she had nothing. She closed it again and looked at him expectantly

"My sister and I became dark magic users. Our souls were claimed. The dark chose us and in turn, we used that to our advantage. We had our own kingdom. I was known as "The Dark one" and she " the black fairy."

"So why are you good now? Why would she help Mal?" Emma asked

"I quit on her. She wanted to go big. Having everyone across the realms instead of just our own, to know our names. Become a sort of Gods. But then I met Cora and Mila. Cora quite literally threw me, knocking my head in enough to knock some sense into me. And when Cora was stopping my bleeding, my eyes met Mila's. Mila a human that I had my bond with. So I left my sister. Became good for Mila and for you children when you were born." he smiled

"I'm guessing your sister didn't like that?" Regina asked

"Not only because of the fact I left her and the power. But for a human as well. Someone without magic."

"So she helped Mal to get back at you because she knows that's your God-daughter?"

"Yes, she knew I would have to use dark magic to heal you with it. I suspect it was her way of making me get a taste of it yet again and hoping I would have a sort of relapse and go back to how I was before." He shrugged

"But to teach of dark magic, you showed us. You didn't relapse then." Regina said

"Yes because that was just performing the magic, it's enacting it on someone that the power flourishes. That is why I only let you get the movement of it, and not enact it."

"So you use only light magic now for our sake?" Emma questioned

Rumple nodded, "I didn't want you to be influenced by it. Light and dark can choose you. I wanted there to only ever be light to be your guide."

They all paused and mulled over everything they had just learned.

"So what do we do now?" Emma asked timidly

"I suggest that wherever you go for now on, you stay with the pack. We will also need someone who knows dark magic to stay with you just in case. Now that we know she is after you Emma, we need to take precautions in order to make sure you don't fall into her grasp. You do, she gets Regina as well." Hestia stated from her spot

Emma nodded and pulled Regina closer to her.

"I can be by her side. If you show me the magic to heal her I can keep her safe."Regina suggested

"No" Rumple stated firmly

Regina sat up, "She is my mate. I need to protect her! If Mal wants to kill her, she has to get through me first because like hell I'll let her get past me."

"Regina." Cora scolded with a glare

"No mother! Emma protects me all the time. She is mine, I should be able to protect her as well."

"Regina the reason we say this is because, from all your teachings, I can tell you that you are the strongest I have seen with magic. Like me when I was younger. And if I know my sister, she got that intel from Mal and told her that she would help her attain you by killing off Emma. When in reality, she has tricked Mal into getting her prize practically delivered to her so she can corrupt you and have the dark side choose you. She can't get to you if Emma, a soon to be Alpha of the most powerful wolf pack in this realm, is your mate. Not to mention the fact your magic with Emmas is the most powerful there is. You with Emma deters Fiona from succeeding in taking over the realm. But you without Emma and in her grasp with the pain of grief influencing you, well we might as well bow down now." Rumple argued.

They all went silent. In all these years Rumple had never raised his voice or sounded so cynical. This just showed how bad of a situation they were truly in.

The silence was broken when Roni walked through the door and rushed to Emma.

She knelt in front of the wolf, scanning over her body for further injury, and cupped her cheeks

"You okay wolfie? I'm sorry I wasn't here," she stressed. She had spent the day in her village to check on her bar when that evening Merida and Tink ran in the crowded bar and pulled her outside to tell her what Ruby had just voiced to them.

In an instant, Roni had poofed herself to her bedroom and ran down the hallway to the library.

"I'm alright. Rumpy patched me up." Emma gave her a small smile and pulled her into a hug. Giggling at the tsk they heard from the man, he had never liked that nickname, but again Emma had to break the tension.

"Roni, you told me once that your mother taught you dark magic," Cora asked

The woman pulled back but kept her body knelt at Emma's feet. "Yes, she wanted me to have the dark choose me. A dark Queen like her."

"While teaching you that, did she have you learn dark magic to heal that inflicted by dark?" Snow asked

Roni nodded, "She taught me everything of dark magic. With how many enemies we had, she made it a priority for me to know how to undo curses and poison enacted on me and others if she needed saving."

"We need you to stay by Emma and Regina's side. You heard what happened?" Cora asked

She shook her head, "I only heard that Emma was attacked and almost died."

Regina held out her hand and when her look-alike took it, she replayed the scene for her, all the way down until the meeting and her walking through the door to catch her up.

Roni sat on her heels and swallowed. She looked up to all of them and nodded. "I'll keep them safe," she whispered.

"Thank you." Snow held her shoulder, the rest of the adults echoed the sentiment but Cora opened her arms for Roni to fall in. What had happened was traumatic for everyone, even the ones who had to be caught up by memory transfer because they hadn't been there. Regina hadn't left Emma's side since the incident, she could at least hold one of the girls she considered her daughter.

"In the morning we will update the protection borders. Mal won't be able to get in without us knowing." Hestia nodded

"What about your sister?" David asked

"She won't leave her throne to get her hands dirty. Especially when she knows she would be in my territory and will be at a disadvantage. The only one we need to worry about is Mal." Rumple nodded to them

With that, the younger adults went to Regina's room where the doppelgangers didn't let Emma out of the sight and went to sleep with the blonde sandwiched between them.

In the library though, the adults stayed, talking and staring at the fireplace

"Rumple what does this mean for our kingdom?" David asked

Rumple sighed, "It means our kingdom is at a war that only includes this family. And it would do us good if I began some potions and a spell that can send us to another realm, should my sister become desperate."

Hestia furrowed her eyebrows at him, "What do you mean if she becomes desperate, she is already by using my daughter for her own gain."

Rumple grabbed her hand and caressed his thumb over her knuckles, "That's not what I meant darling. I apologize. But what I mean is if she realizes just how powerful Regina is, she won't stop at anything to get her and there are a few curses I know she is willing to enact to do so."

He patted her hand, "We'll figure out how to get Mallory back while we are at it, love. Don't worry. It'll speed up the rate of you getting greys."

She playfully smacked him actually smiled at his chuckling

"Let's all get to bed. From how all this sounds, we have a hell of a fight coming our way." Snow stood and everyone followed.

As he was closing the library door Cora turned to him, "You're not going to bed yet, are you? You're going to start on those potions aren't you?"

He brushed the hair out of his face, "Yes. I have a bad feeling we will have to use them."

She nodded, "Anything I can do?"

"When I finish them, there is a potion I will have to distribute to all those close to us. I believe I know which curse Fiona will set and I want to make sure we will be safe, even after I take us to the new land."

Cora nodded and bid him goodnight.

He walked the halls and into his laboratory. Grabbing his books and setting his equipment up. He rubbed his eyes and poofed himself a tea,

He sighed to himself "This is going to be a long night."

Months went by and there was no sign of the dragon or even a threat or rumor of any curses. Still, Rumple had finished the potions and with the help of Cora, Snow, and Hestia, they distributed it to all the people they needed to. They had called a family dinner that included Emma's pack and the closest of their families. Snows brothers, granny, and guards. Hestia's brother Blaze and dispersed it through the drinks.

Roni hadn't left the couples' sides since that day and had even put a tracker spell on them due to a few times the couple had disappeared only a few feet away but cloaked themselves to have alone time and still gave Roni a heart attack nonetheless. So now all three women sported a new tattoo on their arms to keep track of one another.

Tonight was the wolf run and as they walked to the meeting point, Emma asked

"Hey Roni, if your mother only taught you dark magic, then why aren't you dark?"

Roni looked at her and smiled, "I am dark. The dark has chosen me and it has darkened me." her eyes flashed violet in emphasis.

"The only difference is that I saw what my mother was like. I never had a vengeance to enact or a goal in mind that would cause me to use the dark to get what I want. I work for it and only use light like Rumple. We are still claimed by dark, but we have enough humanities in us. We have our love for our family and friends. We don't have an urge for more power. You can be dark and still be good. It's only how you use the dark magic that really damns you." she explained

"Then why won't Rumple or anyone teach me the dark magic to heal Emma?" Regina argued

"Because you have anger inside you that would darken your heart. You are angry and want to protect your mate. And right now, you may think it's not but if you were to use a dark attack against Mal to protect Emma, it's still an act of vengeance because of the anger against her that is inside you." Roni explained

"But I could use it to heal Emma! Besides I could be claimed by the dark but still be good." She urged

"Regina if I am, to be honest, it hurt when I was claimed. It felt like my soul was branded with fire. And while I am a good dark magic user, I still have to use a dark spell here and there to keep balanced or else I will be in agony. Me, Rumple, and surely Emma, don't want that for you." Roni told Regina and watched as the witch sighed and looked down. An agreement on her lips

They continued to walk and when they arrived at the meeting spot, all the wolves changed.

"I'll be right behind you, Ruby is always on her right anyways. Be careful." Roni informed Regina who was already on Emma, as she got on top of Ruby to ride during the run.

Emma howled into the air and then they were off. Winding in and out of trees, jumping over river caverns to see who could get the most height and distance, and ran the perimeter of the kingdom to do a check before they started for the forest near the mountains.

Even going at the high speed, Roni kept on high alert of everything around them. Even the wolves kept their ears perked.

That's why when they heard wings flapping above them and Emma felt a buzz from her arm, they all halted and avoided the dragon flying above who had dived, claws out to grab Emma.

"GO!" Emma shouted to everyone and like a shot, everyone was off. Sounding off where the dragon was and alerting whenever she began to dive.

And within all the excitement, Roni lost track of the two when Emma had bolted through the trees to keep Regina safe.

"Emma! Regina!" She called out but received nothing back until Graham showed up beside them in human form to talk to her

"Emma said she was dodging back and forth until Mal breathed fire in front of her. She took Regina right off her back. She's going after her." He panted

"Shit" she growled and laid her hand on her tracking mark. She saw trees and a well on a cliff.

She repeated back what she saw to the two wolves, asking if they knew where this was. At their nod, the whole pack headed off in that direction.

Emma kept her eyes on the sky, staying close behind Mal as Regina struggled in her grasp.

She didn't even have to look at the ground to know where to place her feet and when to jump. This was her territory, she knew it inside and out. And from the path they were taking, she knew where they were headed.

When Mal dove to land, Emma lost sight of them. Though she kept in the direction of the well. The cliff where, as children, they would dive off into the waters to see who had the guts to dive into the choppy waters from fifty feet above.

She paused, seeing if she could hear them. Though all she heard were the small movements of all the other animals in the vicinity

And then she heard her

"Emma!" Regina shouted

They were already at the cliff she noted and then bolted.

She heard her mate cry out for help and it only made her move faster.

When she broke through the clearing she saw Regina with an expression of full anger as Mal stood in front of her with her dagger.

She stayed in her wolf form, huffing, and looking towards Regina to check on her.

"I'm okay, just kick her ass." Regina seethed

As Mal stepped forward, she growled, snarling, and showing her teeth as she stepped forwards as well. But in moving someone came out from behind the trees and lifted their hand towards her.

Emma felt something grip her neck and lifted her off the ground

A honeyed voice sounded, "Why don't you shift so we can talk dear."

When the moonlight shone on the woman, Emma could make out her features. Dark hair, porcelain skin with a sneering type of smile. The same one Mal was wearing right now, Emma noted

Emma snarled but the invisible grip on her throat squeezed.

She still didn't give in, continuing to snarl, knowing it wouldn't be long till her pack arrived with Roni but when the woman lifted her other hand and began choking Regina, she listened and shifted, knowing that she was at a disadvantage, hoping that listening would help the situation. Her naked body hung in the air as the invisible hand around her throat just kept her there, not actually squeezing to suffocate her anymore. Regina leaned forward, coughing and gulping air back into her lungs as the woman released her for Emma's compliance

"Mal, go ahead." The woman nodded

Within an instant, Mal strutted up to her and used the dagger to stab Emma in the side once again

"Emma!" Regina cried

The woman dropped Emma to the ground. Though she didn't cry out, she only grunted. She was not giving them that satisfaction on hearing her cry out.

"Hmm, stubborn little mutt aren't you." The woman strutted over and kicked her in her injured side to force her onto her back so she could place the sharp heel of her boots into her chest.

"Oh? And what is this." she leaned over and reached to touch Emma's mating mark, but before her fingertips could touch the skin, Emma snapped at her hand.

The woman jumped back and giggled maniacally, "Oh you are a feisty one. I think I should take you as my pet instead. You are quite beautiful." she restrained Emma's whole body in order to stroke her face, only a growl resonating from the wolf to tell of her displeasure

"Get away from her you bitch!" Regina snarled and got up from her spot to charge at the women, only to be backhanded onto the ground.

She looked back down to Emma and reached for her mark, "I heard the loyalty of wolves never ends. But I bet I could get you to forget about your mate."

Emma growled again, it resonated deeply from her chest to echo throughout their surroundings.

"Well, shame. Your agreement to become my pet would have saved you. But it looks like I still have to kill you." the woman sighed

"But before we do, I know mates feel the pain of the other. Let's make sure whoever yours is, feels it." and with that, the woman dug her nails into the teeth marks of the mark. Piercing the flesh.

Though she was surely surprised when a scream erupted from behind her as Regina writhed on the ground and held her own mark.

She released her grip and raised an eyebrow at the silence it brought.

"Well. You didn't tell me this part, Mallory." She glared over to the blonde with a crestfallen look upon her face.

"I didn't know Fiona. I swear." She whimpered

"Well, not to worry. What's the fun in getting what you want when there isn't a challenge to give you." Fiona sighed and walked over to the well. Poofing ingredients into her hand and pouring into the well while mumbling incantations under her breath.

When a black mist began to rise from the well the woman hummed in satisfaction and threw a vial to Mal as she walked to the couple with two more in her hand.

"Drink that," she stated and drank her own before forcing open Emma's mouth to pour the liquid down her throat.

"What is it?" Mal asked

"It seems as though we have quite the situation on our hands that will take a bit of time to rectify," she responded and walked over to Regina, pulling her up by her hair and spied the cut on her upper lip

"Hmm, that actually suits you. I think I'll have you keep that." she hummed and forced Regina's mouth open. She eventually had to use the same paralyzing magic she used on Emma when the young brunette kept spitting it out and tried biting her fingers.

"I have to say child, your best friends are quite feisty. Why not take them both." she giggled

"I want Regina. Not Emma." Mal growled.

"Yes yes, you will get your love. In time though. How long it will take I am not certain. But eventually." Fiona stated matter of factly and picked at her nails, releasing her magic on the couple seeing the size of the blood puddle that had started to surround Emma

Emma tried getting up even with her side bleeding out from the poison taking effect. She went over to Regina and tried undoing her binds, only to hit in the head with a branch by Mal.

She collapsed next to Regina and the witch crawled over to her, lifting the upper part of her body into her lap. She had tears running down her cheeks, knowing she couldn't do anything at this moment

"What do you mean?" Mal questioned

"Those potions. That was a part of a spell that will have us repeat our lives over and over again until you win her heart or Regina eventually breaks down when all her memories return to torture her and join us. As your mate and as my prodigy." she smiled

"Why repeat our lives?" Mal asked

"Well, you see those marks? That means they have bonded their souls together. They're soulmates darling. This means, every life we begin, no matter where we are, what time we are in, they will eventually find each other and create that bond and if one dies, the other does as well. But." she raised her index finger, "With enough agony from her memories returning to her at a certain age if you haven't won her heart in time, then her pain and grief will become so much that she would rather save Emma than to see her die again. And join us in order to do so." Fiona stated gleefully

"What's with the mist?" Mal pointed as it had begun to travel down the mountain and to the rest of the kingdom.

"Oh that's to spread out the spell to the rest of the kingdom because I don't know about you, but I think it would be weird if I were the ones to raise you all from toddlers. You'd be sisters then. I highly doubt you'd want to mate your sister." she raised a sculpted eyebrow at the girl

Mal grimaced at that and asked, "Will I have my memories?"

"At a certain age. I will come to you if you haven't won Regina's heart by a certain time, then I will wake you to get your arse into high gear. But we won't have to worry about her memories returning if you win her heart in time. You can live happily together with Emma as your "Sister" If you so wish it and still with your memories" she shrugged.

Regina and Emma were still laid on the ground, Regina tears falling onto Emma's face as they gazed at each other. Hearing everything the two had said.

"I love you," Emma whispered

She raised her arm and stroked her thumb over Regina's cheeks to wipe the tears away and at that moment Roni broke through the tree lining with the wolves surrounding her to see Emma laying in Regina's lap. Emma's blood spread out around them.

She looked up and threw her hand to toss Mal against a tree, knocking her out instantly. She flung her hand again and threw the woman back. When the older brunette landed on the ground, the wolves surrounded her to hold her down.

Roni ran over and dropped to her knees next to Emma and placed her hands over the wound. Violet light shining through her hands.

"You're too late darling, we've already set everything into motion." Fiona giggled and flicked her wrist. In a black mist, she and an unconscious Mal were gone.

The wolves looked all around and didn't find even their scent. The women were gone.

Roni had nodded to Ruby telling her so and looked to Regina. "I can't take my hands off this just yet. Mal went deeper with this one, I need you to teleport us to the castle."

Regina nodded and when all the wolves were linked to her, she poofed them to the dining room, big enough for the whole crowd.

Rumple jumped out of his seat when they arrived in front of the table. Within an instant, he was down next to them, replacing Ronis's hands with his own.

All the adults surrounded them, looking down at the girls.

"The woman, she set her curse," Ruby informed them

Rumple nodded and looked to the window to see the black mist covering the land and leading straight towards the castle.

He had finished healing Emma and magiced them into new clothes to replace the blood-soaked ones.

Snow brought over juice for the couple to help with the blood loss but even drinking it, they stayed together
