Bakura looked rather amused that Yugi was the only player left. "Seeing how your the last remaining player, you must now roll the dice and move the pieces yourself Yugi. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention one tiny little detail earlier. If the characters hit points reach 0, they will die." Bakura said.
" What?! " Yugi asked softly as all color seemed to drain from his face.
"The characters die if their hit points reach 0. Not only in the game but also in real life as well. So do try to be careful with your friends, since their lives are literally now in your hands." Bakura said in smug tone.
I...I don't know if I can do this. I can't risk all my friends lives like this... Yugi thought to himself sadly.
"Yuge, snap out of it! We all know you can handle this, and you have our full trust in ya, Yuge!" Joey said grinning.
"Yeah, you got this Yugi." Tristan said smiling.
"You can do it, Yugi!" Tea said.
"Yugi, you must try to stay calm and try not to worry about us...we will be just fine. Just promise, you won't do anything reckless okay?" William said with a warm friendly smile as he looked up at him.
Guys...Yugi thought as he looked at them.
"The magic gunman has finally snap out of his fear and is ready to fight this turn. Yugi, in order for the game to continue you must roll the dice." Bakura said. Yugi narrowed his eyes as he made a firm decision.
"Bakura, I want you to transfer my soul to my lead miniature as well!!" Yugi suddenly yelled.
"Wait...What!? " Everyone shouted in disbelief..
"Oh you have got to be fucken kidding me, right now." William grumbled under his breath. " Yugi, I just told you not to do anything reckless! What the hell are you thinking!?"
"Yuge, what the hell?!" Joey screamed.
"Yugi, what are you doing?!" Tea and Tristan shouted.
"Excuse me, but did I just hear you right, Yugi? You actually want me to turn you into a lead miniature?!" Bakura asked as he almost fell out of his chair in disbelief.
"In all honesty no, I don't really want to be turned into a lead miniature. However I want to fight along side my friends down on the game board. They are putting their very lives at risk and I must do the same!" Yugi said firmly.
"It would be easy to grant your request, Yugi. However you are the last player, who will roll the dice if you become a lead miniature?" Bakura asked.
"I don't care, Bakura! I rather fight along side my friends than play with their lives like this! " Yugi yelled.
"Yugi..." His friends said softly. William sighed as he knew Yami was going to make his first appearance to the group unlike what the manga and anime showed. Well...season zero did have Yami make an appearance earlier to the others but that was only during Kaiba's Death T games. Something which had yet to happen or even take place. William hissed in pain as he felt a headache forming.
"You okay Will?" Joey asked him.
" Yeah...just a headache...nothing to be to concerned about. " William said nervously.
"Very well, Yugi...if you feel that strongly...Than I will grant your request. It's game over!" Bakura yelled as he pointed at Yugi. Yugi's eyes widen as they became lifeless just as the puzzle began to glow. Yugi's body slumped backwards into the chair as his soul was dropped into his lead miniature.
"Yugi..." His friends said as Yugi appeared on the game board.
" I'm sorry...guys. " Yugi said softly.
"It's not over yet." William said with a smirk.
" what do you mean? " Tea asked.
"Just wait for it." William said with a knowing smirk.
"Since all the player's have become miniatures...victory is mine." Bakura laughed insanely.
"Not so fast Bakura, you still have me to deal with." A voice said startling everyone except for a wide grinning William. Everyone turned to look at who just spoke to see Yami sitting ever so calmly there with his arms crossed.
What?! This can't be possible! How does he have two souls?! Bakura thought to himself in alarm.
"There is another me?!" Yugi asked in disbelief with wide eyes.
"There is two Yugis?!" Joey, Tristan and Tea screamed in disbelief.
"Hi Yami!" William called up to him with wide evil smile. Yami looked down at William as he reached out to gently tap William hard on the hard on the head making him yelp. "What was that for?!"
"You just can't stay out of trouble, can ya Red?" Yami grumbled as he stared at him.
"I'm not that bad, and don't call me, Red." William grumbled.
"Wait, you knew about there being another me!? " Yugi yelled pointing at William who suddenly stared up at the ceiling like it was the most fascinating thing ever.
"Maybe...Look we'll talk about this latter, Yugi. Let's just continue with the game, so all of us can get back to normal." William said avoiding eye contact. Tea however made the connection that Yami was the one who been saving them and was the mystery man whose voice she gained a crush on. She blushed slightly which no one really noticed. Now she understood why William was so nervous whenever she asked about their mysterious rescuer.
"We were in the middle of a battle if I remember correctly. So let's continue this game. The magic gunman draws his weapon as he aims it at Zorc!" Yami said as he rolls the dice. The number 04 appears. Tristan fires his weapon as it hits Zorc's upper right shoulder making Zork scream in pain.
"Nice shooting, Tristan!" Joey said grinning.
"Told ya, I'm not afraid of you, Bakura!" Tristan said smirking.
"Yami, I'm not sure if your aware of this but our lives are literally in your hands. If our hit points reach zero we're royally screwed and it's a one way trip to the after life of you catch my drift! Only way to get us back to normal, we have to defeat Zorc!" William called up to him.
"Understood, you can trust me." Yami said.
"I already do, seeing how I've known you longer." William said smirking only to yelp as Yugi elbowed him hard in the ribs. "What was that for, Yugi!?"
" You knew that their was another me and you never told me! " Yugi growled at him in a very similar fashion as to how William often growls at people.
"Yugi, in all honesty would you have believed me, if I had told you about Yami?" William asked him.
Yugi looked a bit sheepish at that. "Most likely no."
" Exactly my point as to why I said nothing. Besides it wasn't my place to say...it was Yami's. So if you want to be angry with someone blame him, the spirit within the millennium puzzle. " William said only to yelp as Yami tapped him hard on top of the head. "Ow!! Why am I the only one here getting beaten up?!!!" William grumbled as he rubbed the top of his head.
That explains everything he is the spirit residing deep within the millennium puzzle, damn it! Wait a minute...if the puzzle has it's own spirit...does that mean William's God item is the same!? The last thing I need to deal with is a royally pissed off Egyptian god especially the God of the Dead of all beings!!! Bakura screamed in horror before he fearfully looks at William's still body. The bracelet of Anubis seemed be trembling in rage as it glowed softly. The glowing went unnoticed by everyone.
William grimaced as he felt the headache forming become more noticeable as he heard deep chanting that oddly sounded familiar to him from a horror movie that he knew rather well that had either 6 or 7 movies made of it.
"William, are you okay?" Tea asked when she saw William place a hand to his head.
" Ugh...my head is suddenly pounding and that weird chanting in my head is not helping any. " William grumbled.
"Strange chanting?" Yugi asked.
"It's nothing...just been watching to many late night horror movies and with everything going on, my mind is playing tricks on me. Let's just continue the game." William said softly.
I must release my friends souls from these lead miniatures that they're trapped in. However I'm also worried about William. Yami thought as he looked at William who appeared to be in pain and a tad bit unwell looking.
"So Yami, was it?" Bakura asked as Yami nodded. "I take it that you are aware that from this moment on, you will be in control of the entire adventuring team, rolling the dice, and you are already aware what will happen if their hit points reach 0 is that correct? "
"I am already aware of all this." Yami said with narrowed eyes.
"Good...now we shall continue with the battle. Even though Zorc has lost his hand and was shot in the upper shoulder he still appears to be almost uninjured by those attacks. However things have become far worse for the adventurers...for you see any flesh cut from zorc's body will transform into monsters under his command. " Bakura explains as Zorc's severed hand trans forms into into a eyeball looking monster and a dragon.
"That's not good!" Tea yelled in alarm.
"It's only going to get worse from here on out." William said as he got ready for a fight.
"What do you mean?" Joey asked.
"Zorc is clearly like the Greek monster known as a Hydra. You cut one head off and several heads will regrow in it's place, it will keep doing the same until the adventurers stop the head slicing thing and go straight for the heart. Zorc is most likely no different." William said as he taps the scythe against his shoulder as his tail swayed side to side.
Bakura glared down at the board at the other dungeon master. He knew he had to do something about the dungeon master in their little group. He than remember Zorc had other abilities. He than smirked. Perhaps having an ally of my own won't be so bad, and since William choose a race as well as a dark class normally aligned with darkness...Zorc's ability to control creatures of darkness will come in handy. Bakura thought to himself.
Yami suddenly felt uneasy all of a sudden at the way Bakura had looked right at William before turning his attention on everyone else. "What are you up to Bakura?" He demanded.
"Zorc looks at the adventurers and smirks before he sets his eyes on one of the adventurers." Bakura said as he ignores him.
"Guys, I got a bad feeling about this." Joey said.
"I think we all do, Joey." Tristan said.
"Perhaps having an ally of my own, will make things more interesting and what better way for that to happen is by taking control over of one the adventurers that have banned together to destroy me." Zorc laughs. "Let's see who should I target...ah yes...He will do just nicely."
"That really doesn't sound good!" Joey yelled.
"But which one of us is he after?" Yugi said in concern.
Most likely me...being a more knowledgeable dungeon master he won't want me giving out any more hints of figuring things out from his end. Since dungeon masters can usually get into another dungeon master's mind and figure things out faster than others. Lastly I was the only one in the group who choose a creature aligned with darkness. William thought to himself as he noticed how horrified Yami looked by all this.
Bakura takes the dice. "In order for me to take full control of the adventurer in mind I must roll a number between 35 and 47 in order to activate a hidden ability of Zorc's." Bakura said before he rolled the dice. The number 43 appeared. Yami's eyes widen in horror.
"No!" Yami said in horror.
"I choose the werewolf of the group...Zorc's dark creature mind control activates." Bakura laughs.
I hate being right. William thought just before Zorc's eyes glow brightly causing William's eyes to widen as they gain a error glow to them just before his head slumps downward as his body begins to shake violently. His shaking than slowly stops as his left hand tightens on his scythe.
"William...you okay, man?" Tristan asked only to yelp in alarm as a scythe nearly slices his head off had he not leaned back from him. William turns to face them with solid glowing blood red eyes as he smiles demonically at them before walking over to stand beside Zorc as he stared at them in a demonically possessed sort of way as he bares the long razor sharp nightmarish fangs as he growled deeply at them.
Zorc looks at the two monsters that wait for orders as he smirks. "Kill them...do not let them reach the castle." Zorc tells the monsters.
"Yes master Zorc." The two monsters said as they locked their eyes on the adventures as they gulp.
"Now come with me, my new apprentice..." Zorc laughs as he than teleported away with William in a swirl of black mist.
" No William! " Yugi and his friends yelled in horror. The monster ally of the adventurers nudged Yugi in concern.
" Bakura, you-!" Yami snarled in barely controlled rage.
"Zorc returns back to the castle with his new comrade leaving the adventurers to face off against the monsters they are left behind to deal with." Bakura said as he ignores him.
"We will defeat Zorc and we will rescue our friend, Bakura!!! You do anything to William and trust me your gonna wish you never were born when we get done with ya!" Joey shouted.
I have no intention of hurting the other dungeon master. He is the only one in this entire bloody room that I won't hurt because I fear what his bloody god item would do if I injured it's host! Bakura thought in annoyance as he looks at William's still body for a brief moment. Completely unaware that the hand twitched even more and that William's eyes slowly opened half way revealing a solid glowing blood red eyes that was no way human. The eyes narrowed in rage before they closed once more.
Yami knows the only way of rescuing William, they first had to get pass the monsters and reach the castle. "Joey, it is your turn to attack." Yami said.
"Let me at them, Yami! I am ready for a fight!" Joey said as he raised his sword as his eyes narrowed at the eye ball monster.
" Alright Yami, go ahead and roll the die. Just remember if you roll a 99 it's a fumble. One that will kill the character. " Bakura said in a taunting tone.
"Go dice roll!" Yami yelled as he caused the dice to spin around wildly on the board to reveal a 00.
Bakura's eyes widen in horror. "Super critical!?"
"The warrior cuts his opponent in half!" Yami yelled as Joey charges forward as he swings his sword slicing the eyeball monster clean in half.
"Alright Joey!" Tristan and Yugi yelled.
Yami smirked as Bakura made a realization. Does he know the dice trick?!
"Hey! Bakura, snap out of it! What happens next!? " Joey calls up to him as it snaps him out of his stunned trance.
"Oh right...seeing his companion slain by the warrior, the Dragon hesitates and looses his next action." Bakura said as he looks at the laptop.
" Yugi, your next. " Yami said. Yugi nodded as he made a decision to make the Dragon their ally as well. The Dragon snarled as it growled at them.
"I'm capturing that Dragon!" Yugi said firmly as he began to use his power in hopes of making the Dragon their ally.
"Until a few minutes ago, the Dragon was once a part of Zorc. The beast tamer has the potential to brain wash it, is a very low 10 percent. You must roll less than 10 if you want to make the Dragon an ally." Bakura explained .
"I have full trust in Yami's skills and I believe in him." Yugi said firmly.
"Here we go! Dice roll!" Yami yelled.
The red die than showed an 8 as the other dice continued spinning. Bakura laughed. "There is no way you can-" Bakura started until the white dice struck the red one causing it to spin once more. What?! The spinning die struck the other one to change the roll!? What is this technique?!
"Bakura, this is one of the many ways of cheating with dice, the double hit! One that William showed me, after his lesson of how to play dungeon and dragons, when I asked him how he managed to change his roll. It's in the same class as your run of super criticals!" Yami explains with a sky smirk.
"Wait just one minute here, William cheated with the dice durring out game?!" Joey yelled.
"He did in order to make the attacks less lethal on the new players. Until they got use to the game." Yami said.
" Oh...that was rather sweet of him. " Tea said.
The dice came to a stop as it reveal 01. "Another super critical!?" Bakura yelled in annoyance.
"This means I get to brain wash the Dragon!" Yugi yelled. In seconds the Dragon is transformed into happy friendly little dragon that oddly resembled Baby Dragon fused with Spyro. "Now I got a new monster ally!" Yugi said with a smile as the Dragon nuzzled him.
Bakura was fuming as he silently cursed William out for ever teaching Yami the double hit technique. "Wait! You mean to tell us Bakura was cheating this entire time, and not in a nice way like Williams is with us!?" Tristan and Joey shouted.
"Yami, is it true you can control the roll of the dice on this game? " Tea asked.
"William told me that some dungeon masters know how to cheat with dice without getting caught in order to make their games more challenging and rather unfair against the players in order to challenge their knowledge and skills. However it's true that Bakura was cheating with the dice this entire time and no it was not in a nice way but rather in a unfair advantage sort of way. " Yami explained to his friends before looking directly at Bakura. "If you can cheat than so can I Bakura!"
"Fine! From now on we will let the dice slide off our hands like this, spinning the dice is now strictly prohibited!" Bakura spat in annoyance mixed with frustration.
"I agree to that." Yami said.
"Bakura! The next time you cheat, you should also turn into a miniature as well, since it's only fair! " Yugi yelled.
Bakura sent him a sharp piercing glare causing Yugi to flinch. "Let's continue. After taking out zorc's servants, the adventurers continue onward to the gates of Zorc's castle in hopes of rescuing their friend and defeating Zorc once and for all." Bakura said.
"This is it guys, no turning back." Joey said.
"Not like we had a choice to begin with, and there is most likely traps set for us inside. I remember William said most castles and dungeons usually contain traps last time we played Dungeons and Dragons with him." Tristan said.
"Are we even ready for this? William often said something about characters needing to level up before they enter certain places in these types of games." Tea asked softly.
"We have to save, our friend. I know William would do the same for any of us. Regardless of the risk or danger...we have to help him! Yugi said softly in determination .
"True but all of you forget that William does have a bad habit of always getting injured or into some form of trouble. " Yami added.
Now is the time to test your gaming skills, Yami. Bakura thought as the castle's gate opened before the castle opened up as well. "At last the adventurers arrive at zorc's castle as the draw bridge lowers making a path into the castle. This is the last stage of your quest!somewhere in the castle waits Zorc! Can the heroes find him and slay the demon, so they save their friend from his control?"
"Hey Zorc! Where are you hiding?!" Joey yelled.
"Come out and face us you coward!!" Tristan shouted.
"The adventures walk further inside and are greeted by their former friend who sits on Zorc's throne watching them." Bakura said as they all finally noticed William sitting on the throne holding his scythe.
"You won't find master Zorc, until you defeat me in battle!" William snarls as he stands up slowly. His glowing solid red eyes narrow at them as he reveals a purely evil demonic grin.
"Wait what?!" Yugi and his friends yelled out in horror. Bakura smiles in a evil way.
"Bakura!" Yami snarled in rage.
"The adventurers must now fight their friend if they wish to search the castle for Zorc." Bakura said smirking.
"This is the end of the line, your adventure ends here with me! Mahahahahaaaaaaha!" William shouted as he raised his scythe into the air while laughing like a insane madman. The solid glowing red eyes seemed to glow even brighter.
"William, snap out of it!" Yugi yelled in fear just as William bares his nightmarish fangs as he raised his scythe in a attack position. While looking completely possessed by an evil demon.
"Now join my army of the dead!" William yells insanely.
"The adventurers are taken off guard by the sudden challenge, that is issued by their former ally and they hesitate to attack causing them to loose the next action." Bakura said as he lets the dice roll off his hand a 25 appears.
William runs forward as he swings his scythe at Joey who yells in fear as he raised his shield to block the scythe's blade that was aimed at his face only for the scythe to clash against his shield violently sending sparks into the air. William snarls as his attack ends up being a miss because of Joey's fast thinking with his shield. William jumps back as he glares at them as he twirls his scythe around in rage.
Joey stares at William in fear as William snarls in rage at them. Joey than notices his shield has a huge gash through it making him freak. "Oh man, William is a hell of a lot stronger than he looks!!!!" Joey freaked out badly.
"His character stats were stronger than ours remember!" Tristan said as Joey cursed under his breath.
"Oh right...I totally forgot about that! This is bad!" Joey said fearfully.
"Really bad..." Tristan said agreeing with him.
That attack shouldn't have done that much damage even for a lead miniature...something has gone wrong! Bakura thought in concern with wide eyes. Yami instantly knew something was wrong when he noticed Bakura's expression.
"Looks like we got to knock some sense into William... " Yugi said nervously.
"You won't be lucky next turn...and next turn I'm targeting you Beast Tamer as I rip your spine clean out of your body as I feed on your flesh!" William snarled like an angry wolf. Yugi and his friends pale at William's words. Even Bakura and Yami looked rather pale at those words.
"Yuge, it was nice knowing you." Joey said.
"That's not helping, Joey!!!! " Yugi yelled in horror.
"The magician prepares to attack. " Yami said as he gets the dice ready. He looks very uneasy especially Tea however Yami knows they have to fight their friend of they wish to locate Zorc. "My move..." Yami said as he lets the dice roll off his hand. The number 01 appears. A super critical.
Tea raised her staff. "William, I'm so sorry about this!" Tea said as she unleashes her attack as it hits William with such force that his hit points drops down to 5 as his body is sent flying with such force that his body hits the ground and tumbled violently across it before comes to a stop as his body lays completely still.
"William!" Yugi and the others ran over to him.
Bakura types on his computer. "The adventurers surround their friend who lays unconscious however after a few tense minutes they are filled with relief since their friend is still very much alive. The hit from the magician also frees him from Zorc's Dark control." Bakura growls bitterly. "The adventurers carefully move their friend, so he won't be hurt should another battle starts up as they leave the Dragon to guard their unconscious friend. Before they go back to look for their true target, the Dark Master Zorc." Bakura adds.
"Time for some payback." Tristan said cracking his knuckles.
" Yeah. " Joey said as Yugi looks at the Dragon who nods to Yugi in a way to let him know he will protect William. Yugi felt slightly more at ease now that they had their friend back. What no one realized was that William's soul was knocked clean out of the lead miniature's body as he floated behind Yami watching as everything takes place.
"What's that over there?" Tea asked pointing to a tower with a strange block that looked like it had a double u like symbol on it.
"I wonder what this is. " Joey said as they all enter the tower to investigate.
The pedestal looks like it is missing it's upper half judging by that suspicious marking. It must have some meaning. Yami thought. William's soul instantly recognised the trap as he reached out to touch Yami's shoulder in hopes he could hear him.
"Yami, it's a trap! Get them out of there now! " William's voice suddenly echoes deep with in Yami's head startling him.
William!? Yami's mind asked in confusion.
"No, it's your bloody self conscious speaking of course it's me! Look I'm not sure how I am speaking to you right now. However our friends need to get out of that tower, unless you want them to be squished or smashed by a falling ceiling with spikes!" William shouted causing Yami's eyes to widen in horror.
"Everyone get out of there, now!" Yami yelled.
"But we just got here!" Joey complains.
To late, and you fools fell for it. Bakura thought with a smirk. The sound of something falling made the adventurers look up to see the ceiling with spikes falling towards them.
"No!!!!" Yami shouted.
"The adventurers have fallen into a trap. However don't worry instant death traps are for amateur dungeon masters and game masters. A good game master prolongs the torture for as long as possible. So I will give you a chance to save them. You got three turns to solve the trap before that ceiling shatters their bodies. For you see I know the breaking point of all my lead figures, they can hold out for a bit longer. Just remember if you fail, your friends die." Bakura laughs.
"Bakura! You sorry son of a-" Yami snarls as his body shakes with rage
"Watch it Yami, I could start to target your unconscious friend over there. This is a puzzle, one were you must create a column to support the ceiling, however be warned that you must roll a certain number on the dice for the column to appear." Bakura explained. Yami snarled in rage.
"Yami!" Yugi yelled in pain
"C'mon roll A critical!" Tristan yelled.
A certain number? Damn it, I don't have time to think,my friends lives are in danger! Yami thought."Dice roll!!" Yami yelled as he allowed the dice to roll off his hand only for a 04 to appear. "Yes! A critical!"
"You did it!" His friends yelled.
"Wrong. It's true you rolled a critical but I said you needed a certain number. Here is a hint, you must roll doubles and the carving is the key to solving it." Bakura said
I have to get doubles!? Yami thought in horror.
"Yami!!! " Yugi and his friends cry out in pain.
I have to get the right answer and fast...they won't last much longer! Yami thought in horror.
"Yami, calm down you panicking is not helping them or me out any. Look you need doubles right? So you need doubles of 0, 8, 3, 6, or 9's judging by the clue Bakura had left for ya. You still got two turns left to save them from that trap. However be on your toes...when a trap is sprung like this, trouble usually shows up for the player in these types of situations, after all it takes a dungeon master to know another dungeon master." William's calm voice spoke to him.
"That reminds me, it's time for another monster encounter. Let's see if Zorc will make an appearance, shall we? There is a 30 percent chance of him appearing." Bakura tainted them.
If Zorc appears now, our friends are dead for sure! Yami thought in fear.
Yami stay calm...what are the chances he'll roll less than 30? William asked him.
"Judgement roll!" Bakura said as he rolls the dice. The number 28 appears.
William, you were saying?! Yami snarled at William.
I never once claimed I was perfect, Yami! William nervously yelled at him.
"Such a shame, it is the worst possible number for the adventurers. Zorc now emerged from the castle to greet the poor adventurers that fell into his trap!" Bakura laughs as Zorc appears in front of the tower.
"What?!" Tea screamed.
"Not good!!!" Tristan, Yugi, and Joey scream in fear.
"Hahahaaa! You foolish children have fallen straight into my trap. Prepares yourselves as I rip you to shreds with my claw, while that trap holds your soon to be corpses in place!!!!" Zorc laughs as he flexes his remaining claw like hand.
"Damn that's playing dirty Bakura!!!!" Joey screams at him.
I've done worse with traps...between the two of us this is rather harmless than that I have done in past dungeon and dragons games to the players. William spoke.
You are not helping, William! Yami snarled at William.
What, I was just saying this isn't as bad as what I can come up with. No need to be touchy. William said sighing.
William, our friends lives are in danger including yours and your comparing traps with Bakura's!!!! That's not exactly helpful!!! Yami shouted at him. This is really bad, not only are out friends about to be crushed to death but they are defenseless against Zorc's attack while they are trapped like this. Yami thought as he rolled the dice only for 13 to appear.
Yami...did you forget you needed to roll doubles!? William shouted as he heard Yami curse loudly.
"Yami, we can't hold out much longer and this thing feels heavier than before!!!" Yugi yells.
"My turn. Since zorc's targets can't move, his success rate of attacking is 96 percent." Bakura said before rolling the dice as the number 43 appears. "Not the best number but it is a good start towards a slow and painful death!" Bakura yells unaware that William's soul dives back inside his lead miniature 's body.
"Take this!" Zorc snarls as he swings his claw like hand at them.
"Aaaaghhhh!!!" Joey and Yugi scream out in pain just as Yugi's hit points drop to 13 as Joey's drop to 15.
"C'mon Yami...This is your final chance to roll the dice! We all believe in ya!!!" Joey yells out in pain.
"Dice roll!!!" Yami yells as he rolls the dice. Please let this be the correct number to appear!!! His mind begs.
A 3 appears as the other one still rolls. William started to come around slightly as he slides his scythe slightly forward as the rolling dice tapped against his scythe as it causes the final die to land on a 3. William smirks before dropping back into unconsciousness again as the chanting in his head suddenly becomes much louder only this time it sounded like it being chanted in pure anger now.
Is this the correct number?! Yami asked in fear unaware William's miniature just chanted something under his breath that caused a small orb of light to suddenly jump outside of William's lead miniature body as it fades inside his body just as a black swirling orb crackling with red energy dived downwards from out of William's body and into the lead miniature causing all injuries on William's character to vanish as William's miniature dramatically changes in appearence as does the weapon.
The Dragon begins to whimper in fear as William 's character stands up as his armor, appearence and stats change dramatically. The Dragon races over to Yugi's other monster's side. The other monster stares at the Dragon before it's eyes lands on William with wide eyes full of horror.
"We can't keep this up anymore!!!!" Tea screams.
"Yami!!!" Yugi screams.
Suddenly the middle column of the block appears lifting the ceiling up right as it frees the players. Looks of relief appears in their faces.
"The pillar appeared!! Yami did it!!! 33 was the correct number!!!!" Yugi yelled in relief as Yami looks on in relief.
"So you found the answer to save your friends. However Zorc still gets another attack!" Bakura snaps as he rolls the dice.
The number 12 appears. "I will slice through all of you!!! The tower and the figures all at once!!! Hahahahaaaa! Dead at last!!! I win!!!" Zorc screams as he slices through the tower causing it to fall.
"Sorry, but have you forgotten that the player characters have much higher speed stats? Once the puzzle was solved they succeeded in escaping fully! Which means they are all alive and safe as they stand behind your back!!! " Yami yells as Zorc turns to face the adventurers that stand there behind him.
"Oh no!" Bakura snarls.
" This means the adventurers get to launch a surprise attack on Zorc! Go dice roll! " Yami shouts as he rolls the dice as the number 15 appears.
Before Joey can run forward to attack a dark blur slams hard into Zorc with such force that it sends Zorc flying across the board violently. Joey blinks in confusion. "Huh?" Even Yami and Bakura are confused until their eyes landed on William's character who now looks more like a very posses off Anubis warrior as he now stands almost as tall as Zorc's led miniature.
" Sorry...but my character activated his hidden ability... The Death God's armor which can be activated in two ways and one of those ways is when my character's hit points are less than seven and if it's night time in the game. Being a necromancer as well as a werewolf class it gives my character the ability to transform into a death god...and since he is part thief he can steal a player's character attack roll as his own once per turn of needed. However because of the death God's armor my character hit points gain an extra 100 hit points as all injuries are healed also my character's level jumps dramatically from a level one to that of a level 10 character! Meaning my hit points are now 105." William said as he twirls the large demonic scythe before he taps the end of his weapon onto the ground.
Bakura looks at William's character stats on the computer and freaks since William really did his research when he choose his character class and to make things worse the time in the game shows it was no longer day time but night time which allowed William's character to use this special ability without having to go through a dark monster sacrifice to use this ability. How the fuck did I miss this earlier!?
"Bakura, it takes a dungeon master to know another one. However I been playing dungeon and dragons since I was five years old, so I should know how to make one hell of a character with all kinds of nasty surprises that should be able to go head to toe against a fellow dungeon master with little to no problems at all. Monster World is way to similiar to that of Dungeon and Dragons." William said smirking.
Bakura knew the dungeon master would give him problems but never like this. Also no one in the history of Monster World has ever successfully used the Death God's armor before. "You could have told us earlier about your hidden ability!" Yugi yelled.
"Don't tell me you guys didn't fully read the character races and classes when you were creating your characters..." William said with a flat expression. He was greeted by nervous laughter by Yugi and his friends. William shook his head at this.
Zorc stands back up as he glares at the Death God. "You stole my attack turn!" Joey yells at William who smiles nervously at him.
" Yeah...I did. Part thief remember?" William said.
"Can't you steal Zorc's attacks!?" Joey yelled.
"Sadly no...it doesn't work that way." William said.
"Damn..." Joey grumbles.
Bakura, we'll show you out power as a team! Yami thought.
"Because the adventurers snuck up behind Zorc, they get extra attacks this turn...so roll the dice already!" Bakura snarls.
" Yami, let me have a shot at him! I'll never forgive Bakura in a million years for what he has done to us!!!! " Tristan said. William sighed since he knew this wasn't Ryo's fault but rather the evil spirit of the millennium ring's fault.
"Bakura, my hand will channel all of my friends anger into these dice!" Yami yelled. " dice roll!!! " The number 09 appears when Yami rolls the dice.
"Impossible!!! Not another critical!!" Bakura shouts in disbelief just as Tristan fires his gun at Zorc as he causes Zorc to scream in pain.
"The warrior gets another chance to attack since attack was stolen by the death god!" Yami yells as he rolls the dice as an 11 appears. Joey runs forward and slashes Zorc causing him to yell in pain.
"Now the magician even gets a free attack in as well!" Yami states as he rolls the dice as 13 appears. Tea attacks Zorc making him about in pain.
"And now the final blow!!" Yami yells rolling the dice as 07 appears Yugi and his two monsters attack than attack Zorc. A cloud of smoke hides Zorc from view.
How the hell is Yami keep rolling all these criticals?! He's not doing anything special with his hands...so how the hell is he doing this!? Bakura wonders in anger.
"Bakura, are you scared? If your not than you are a fool. Besides Yami told you the answer to your questions, all of our souls are channeled into Yami's dice!!! " Joey yells.
"Uh guys, Zorc's not dead yet. So don't go celebrating just yet." William said calmly as the smoke clears to reveal Z orc standing there.
"What!?" Tristan and Joey scream.
"How?! After all those attacks he hasn't taken any real damage!?" Yugi asked in horror.
"Not good!" Tea said fearfully .
"Hahahaaaa! Fools! You are all level one adventurers! None of you except for the death god have enough experience to defeat Z orc who is a level 15!" Bakura laughs.
Even after all those critical hits, there was never any way for us to win! Yami thought in horror.
"That's playing dirty!" Joey yells.
"Are you calling me unfair? Cowardly perhaps? Listen here and listen well as the dark master, I made everything in this game world! I am the rules! I am the monsters! I am god!!!" Bakura yells.
Bakura, is starting to loosing his cool...not good. William thought with narrowed eyes.
Grrrr...This game was rigged from the start, so we could not win! Yami thought in rage.
William felt the headache grow worse as the chanting increased. "Bakura, you might want to tone down on the bragging...you forget I became a Level 10. Zorc is only what five levels above me. We are almost on the same level with one another." William spoke.
"I have not forgotten about you dungeon master...I deal with you after I deal with your friends! Now we shall continue with the battle phase!!! All of you can at least act out your deaths with some form of dignity!" Bakura laughed. Yami, you might think you have stopped my run of criticals but just like you I have other ways...secret ways!!! I am not limited to just lead figures!! I can deal a soul into anything!!! Bakura thought as he opens a drawer revealing more miniatures and another set of dice.
"You had your turn, now Zorc get his turn! His full wrath is on the weaker adventurers!" Bakura shouts.
"No!!!" William yelled in horror as he watches the dice roll until 00 appears.
"What?! Super critical!?" Yami yells in horror just as Zorc smirks as he than attacks sending Yugi, Joey, Tristan, Tea and two monsters flying from the attack. they hit the ground looking completely lifeless. "No!!! Not after all this!" Yami said in fear.
"No..." William said softly in horror as he stares at his friends laying motionless on the ground. Painful memories came surging back to him as it rips open old wounds from the past. William almost starts to hyperventilate only to remember everything about this part of season zero. His friends were still alive. It wasn't over yet.
"Zorc's attack has the power to kill characters with more than 50 hit points in an instant. Such a shame Yami, but all the player's minus the death god are dead...it's probably pointless at this point but I'll calculate each character's status on the computer. There are so many variables in this game. The safest way is to let the computer crunch all the data." Bakura said as he types away on his computer.
Suddenly the computer reveals the weaker players all still have one hit points remaining. What?! They each still have one hit points left!? Impossible!!!! Something has gone wrong!!! Bakura thought in horror.
"Everyone okay?" Joey asks as they slowly get to their feet.
"Everything hurts...but we are all alive." Yugi said smiling.
"Don't you jerks ever fucken scare me like that again!!!!" William shouts in rage making them jump to see William glaring at all of them.
How? How are they still? What!? My left hand has been typing itself! What is going on?! What!? Bakura wonders as he finally heard tapping noises making him look down to see a message on the computer.
I am Ryo Bakura!
I won't let you kill my friends or try to enslave them!!!

Roy Bakura?! I locked my host soul deep inside, how the he'll did his conciousness come to the surface? Wait...could it be that my own soul is linked to the Z orc miniature in the game world!!! Zorc's left hand was cut off when his guard was down, it shouldn't be possible but my host is controlling my left hand!!! Bakura makes the sudden realization.
Yami glares at Bakura. "I attack with the death god! dice roll!!!" Yami shouts as the dice reveal 03.
"Take this!!! " William snarls in rage as he charges forward as he swings his scythe like a knife blade as he violently stabs Zorc's left eye with the blade tip of the scythe. Pain shoots through Bakura's left eye making the eye snap close as Zorc screams in pain. William yanks his scythe back pulling Zorc's left eyeball with him in a gorey sort of way.
"That's so gross! " Tea yells.
"I'll say it one more time! It's not over yet, Bakura!!!" Yami shouts. "The Death God's scythe takes out Zorc's left eye!!!"
"Yami, you're really starting to piss me off." Bakura snarls as he glares at all of them. William than plucks Zorc''s eye ball off his weapon just as his stomach growls. Without really thinking he than tossed the eyeball into his mouth and eats it which went unnoticed by everyone. William however has this horrified and disturbed expression on his face at what he just did.
Why the fuck did I just do that!? William screamed inside his head.
"William are you okay? You look like your gonna be sick." Tea asked in concern.
"Yeah...I'm good...no worries." William laughed nervously.
"Say what happened to Zorc's eyeball? Wasn't it still stuck to your weapon? " Yugi asked as William began sweating bullets of pure nervousness. "William...please tell me you didn't eat it." William gave a nervous smile as Yugi's eyes widen in horror. " Why would you do that?! "
"I don't know! I just did it unconsciously on a whim!!!!" William yelled.
"Wait...you ate Zorc's eyeball!? Why!? " Yami yelled.
"I don't know!!! I did it unconsciously!" William whined up at him.
"Necromancers often eat the corpses of the dead to raise their health...not really that surprising that the death god did the same thing even if only have him gain one extra hit point." Bakura said blinking. "Though I must say I'm honestly surprised he actually did that. You sure he isn't sick or something?"
"Why are you so concerned with William's well being?" Yami asked suspiciously.
" That's none of your concern. " Bakura spat defensively .
"Actually it is...seeing how your trying to murder my friends!" Yami snapped.
"Let's just continue this game... " Bakura snarled in rage.
