I bet by the title of this chapter you just have an idea on what's going down. I've decided this is my second favorite chapter out of this whole story so far, and I apologize for the ending of this chapter. I promise you'll love me by the end of the story.

I want to give a quick apologize though for the updates being super slow this month. In the beginning of this month there were some events I was asked to take part in and I willingly did so as it was for family. Afterwards I began to feel sick so I went to get tested. That's when I found out I was diagnosed with COVID, so I made my health a priority. Luckily I didn't get it as bad to the point where I needed to go to the hospital, but it was enough for me to just be sleeping all day or not having the energy to do anything but stay in bed. Plus I had the worst headaches in my life! Legit felt like there was a hammer constantly hitting the back of my head.

While in isolation, I did work a little bit on the chapter, but even so it was still hard for me to concentrate due to what was going on around me. It's honestly such a bummer this happened during the development of this chapter since this was the one chapter I was looking forward to the most when I began to work on this story again, but it is what it is. Thankfully, I am feeling so much better and wanted to thank you all for being so patient with me.

With that being said I hope you all enjoy this chapter and like always, I do not owe any of the Diabolik Lovers characters but my own.

Yui looks through the rack of clothing as Sakura and Amaya picked out a few outfits for her to wear for her first date with Ayato.

It's been a few days since he asked her and the moment Yui told her friends about it, they were quick to declare that after school they would go shopping to buy her an outfit.

With Reiji's permission of course. He was rather okay with allowing them to go out on a school night.

After school, they took Amaya's limo to the nearest shopping center and went to a few stores. Sakura and Amaya picked out a few things for themselves, but also found a few cute accessories for Yui.

Yui trusted Sakura and Amaya with their choice in clothing as they wore very cute outfits when they weren't stuck wearing their schools uniform. They already picked out a few cute dresses for her to try on and she was happy to oblige. But then she saw the purple bra and underwear set in Amaya's hands.

Amaya noticed the confusion on Yui's face when she saw the set that she was holding for her. "Oh! This is for what you can wear underneath." She explains. "Just incase."

Yui tilts her head to the side. "Incase of what?"

Amaya blinks. "Uh...just in case of...you know...have sex?"

Yui's cheeks turn bright red. "Sex? But...we're not even married."

Sakura brings over one of her choices of dresses. "Yeah, but most couples nowadays have sex on the first date or during the time they are dating."

"Oh...that's good for them." She mumbles.

When she attended Catholic school, Yui was always taught that if a couple were to have sex before marriage, it would be considered a sin. Yui did took a vow to remain a virgin until marriage, but truth be told that ever since she arrived at the Sakamaki mansion, her purity has slowly been leaving her body. Thanks to Laito and Ayato, she knows a few dirty inside jokes now, but sometimes it flys over her head.

While she wasn't against the idea of pre-mature sex, it's not something she is quick to jump into either. Her and Ayato have only shared a few kisses in the past few months they've known each other.

There have been two times they actually had a proper make out session and that was when they got home from school after they confessed their feelings for one another. Ayato had gone far as to slide his hand underneath her skirt and tried to pull down her underwear, but she stopped him before it went further then that. He was disappointed but knew Yui would eventually submit to him soon, so he doesn't comment on it. Instead, he just drank her blood from her chest.

The next time they were closed to doing some was yesterday actually. They were in his room and were making out on his bed. She remembered though how Ayato's hand, successfully, went inside her underwear and his fingers brushed along where her clit was, slowly moving his fingers in circles to create pleasure. Moans escaped her mouth-

"Yui?" Amaya calls out. "You okay?"

Yui shakes out her thoughts and nods, accepting the bra and panty set from Amaya. "Yes! I'll go ahead and try these on." She says and goes to the dressing room.

Amaya giggles and Sakura sits down on the bench that was outside of the waiting room.

"I'm surprised you aren't looking for something else to wear," Sakura comments to Amaya. "Aren't you and Subaru going to visit your family soon?"

She nods. "Yes! I already have a dress for the dinner party, but I'm still not sure if I should buy something for Subaru to wear or trust him enough to know he will come dressed appropriately."

Amaya's comment just reminded Sakura how Subaru came into her room when her and Yui were studying. They looked up and he was a blushing mess.

"Can you girls...help me?" He asked them.

Sakura raises a brow. "With what?"

Subaru groans. "Don't make me say it."

"Then we won't help you." She says and looks at Yui. "What did you get for question-"

"Help me find an outfit for my meeting with Amaya's parents!" Subaru yells and the two girls look at him.

Subaru bites his lips and the two girls say in unison, "AWWWW!"

Subaru immediately regretted his decision.

Sakura pats Amaya's shoulder. "Rest assure you that Subaru is good to go! I promise."

Amaya trusted Sakura's word.

Once Yui picked out a few more outfits to buy, they headed over to the food court to eat some slices of pizza.

As they ate their slice, Yui asks Sakura, "So did you and Shu ever talked?"

"Oh yeah! Whatever did happen to that?"

Sakura sighs and takes a sip of her soda. "Well I told him about how I want to find out if my father is possibly alive and also the possible connection I had with Ruki-Kun."

"And?"

"And how he wants our relationship to be," she adds. "We have already confessed to one another, but it's just we haven't made things official. Shu just doesn't think he's good enough for me and it didn't help that he also gave me away to Yuma briefly."

Yui shakes her head. "Shu is such an interesting character...have you considered just forcing him to talk it out? I did it with Ayato and it worked wonders for me."

"Well yeah, but I don't know. I guess I'm just very hesitant due to the fact that Reiji hates the idea of us being together." She explains. "And he also has this fear that something will happen to me once I do technically become us. He's had that fear since he was a kid."

"You should still talk to him," Yui advices Sakura. "It's not fair to you that you are left uncertain about your relationship. Just talk to him this weekend and if he doesn't want to figure things out...then I would just leave him be. It's not worth wasting time on someone who won't give you the same effort as you."

As much as Sakura didn't want to admit it, Yui had a point. The way Shu was acting wasn't fair to her and she deserved better. Therefore she knew she would need to have yet another serious talk with Shu very soon.

"Are you girls going to the carnival next year?" Amaya asks to change the subject.

Yui looks at her funny. "Carnival?" She repeats.

"It's the 666th annual Vandead Carnival," Sakura explains. "It's a huge carnival that is hosted in the vampire world and they often crown a king and a queen at the carnival. The people who host it, often try to get my brothers to be the nominated kings and this year I was asked to be queen, but honestly I don't really want to do it."

Amaya gasps. "But! It's such a huge honor!"

"It is but big crowds and festivals aren't really my thing." She says and sighs. "Besides with everything that was going on, I don't think us mixing in with the other crowd of vampires is such a good idea."

"True but it's been two weeks now and nothing hasn't happened just yet." Says Amaya. "I'm sure this good luck will continue on."

Sakura sighs. "I sure hope so."

The three girls finished eating their meal and throw away their trash. They continue to do some more shopping until they went back to their homes.

Sakura and Yui take their shopping bags to their rooms and then go to the library of the mansion to work on some homework together since they had a quiz the next day.

Laito came to bother them for awhile until Sakura kicked him out and from then on it went smoothly for the rest of the night.

Naomi was on edge as she walked over to her locker to collect her books for her evening classes.

She made sure that a certain vampire didn't catch her walking to class or else she knew she would be in for an interesting interaction.

However, Laito appeared to not be in school today so she just went to her classes and continued on with her day.

Naomi couldn't stop thinking about him though. Not since their interaction back at her apartment.

While she wasn't a virgin and she's only had one sexual interaction, the way Laito made her feel that night was truly...exotic. She didn't think she was capable of making such lewd noises or crying out for Laito to allow her to release. But that red head had magical fingers and she couldn't shake the feeling of her need to want it over again.

She felt her underwear damp at the idea of it and she focuses back to her teacher who was explaining ancient China to them. She sighs and just doodles on her notebook.

Once class ended, she puts her things in her locker again and closes it. She watches as Yui and Ayato is walk past her, arm in arm, and going outside to the basketball court. She rolls her eyes, but was pleased that at least things worked out for them as Yui has confined to her about their problems before.

For her last class, she was actually a student aid in the office and helped make packets or deliver slips to classrooms. Or sometimes if it was a very slow day, she walked around the empty halls until she was needed again.

Naomi heard footsteps behind her after dropping off a slip in one of the classrooms. She looks behind and there was no one. Naomi didn't think much of it and just continued walking, until she was grabbed by the wrist and pulled inside the janitors closet.

"Hey- Laito?" She whispers. "What are you doing?"

Laito smiles innocently. "I wanted to see you of course."

She blushes, but makes sure he didn't get the satisfaction of making her heart race. But Laito already knew that as he can hear her heartbeat.

"We're going to get in trouble." She says, Laito getting closer to her and she moved back until her back hit the wall.

"And that's so bad?" He asks, starting to kiss her neck.

Naomi moans a little as he sucks her on sweet spot. "Y-yes...we can get in major trouble."

Laito chuckles, lifting up her leg and wrapping it around his own waist. Naomi felt his hand go under her skirt and tugs on her underwear, pulling it down to her ankles.

"But someone isn't really stopping me is she?"

"No."

"Then let me fuck you."

Naomi didn't have a chance to say anything before she felt Laito's hardened member enter her wet entrance.

Nobody would see Naomi or Laito for the rest of the evening.

When school finally ended, Yui was in a huge hurry to get back home to get ready for her date with Ayato. She was annoyed with the limo taking them home was a little late. Thankfully she had picked out the outfit she was going to wear the night before and it was just hanging in her closet.

Ayato smirks when he sees how excited Yui was but didn't comment on it. He too needed to shower and made sure he smelled good. Although Yui was a virgin, he planned to hopefully get some action tonight. It's how he felt their relationship will truly be established among his brothers and then they would no longer feel the need drink her blood.

The limo arrived to the manor and Yui waited for everyone to step out first before she did herself. Then she speed walk over to her room and got in the shower.

Sakura and Laito chuckled when watching Ayato also racing to get ready, while the rest of the siblings just went on with their night.

Yui got out of the shower and dried herself off, changing into one of the cute bra and panty set that Amaya bought for her. She wondered if Ayato would get to see this set tonight or if they were going to wait awhile go become intimate. She didn't mind the waiting, she wasn't in a huge hurry to lose her virginity. Besides if Ayato really liked her, then he would respect her wishes.

She sits down in front of her vanity, doing light makeup. Sakura showed her how to do simple makeup to make it seem natural and even if doing shimmer eyeshadow without making it seem messy, it came off looking pretty. Really bringing out her pink eyes. She puts on some lipgloss too and changes into her outfit once she dried her hair.

Yui really debated on just wearing jeans and a cute top, but Sakura convinced her to wear a dress with a jacket and sneakers for the date. Just to show her girly side and to also be warm and comfortable.

For the dress, she just wore a simple light pink dress with a blue jean jacket and then paired it with white slip on shoes. Of course she needed to add her signature flower clip on's to her hair and then she was done.

Although this was a simple look, it was still cute and knew Ayato would like it.

Now she just waited for Ayato to knock on her door so they can leave for their date.

Not even twenty minutes later, Ayato knocks on her door.

Yui takes a deep breath and grabs her bag, walking over to the door. She opens it and smiles, seeing Ayato on the other side of her door.

He smirks. "Ready?"

She nods and holds his arm. "Let's go!"

Tokyo was a very busy city and during the weekends, it was even busier.

As it was also Friday night, there were more college students, adults, and families out in the city to see what there is to do. There were also a few tourist groups and to Yui, they smelled delicious.

"Keep your fangs to yourself," Ayato whispers. "One wrong move and the VHA will be all over our ass."

Yui nods. "I know, I'm just hungry."

"Me too." He says, eying her neck. "Come on, we're almost at the place."

Yui holds his hand and gets closer to Ayato. She smiles when she notices how red his cheeks were, but didn't comment on it. Ayato could get embarrassed sometimes.

"So where are we going?" She asks, realizing they had taken a shortcut through a dark alleyway.

"You'll see."

"Ayato..."

"It's safe. I promise." He assures her and knocks on the door.

After a minute, a man opens the door. "May I help you?"

Ayato showed his ID and the bouncer looked at it, before stepping aside. "You may proceed, Mr. Sakamaki."

Ayato puts his ID away and pulls Yui through the door and they entered a very dimmed restaurant. She looked around and spotted the people talking, sharing glasses of wine, and eating very delicious food.

But the smell in the room caught her off guard.

"They're vampires." She whispers.

Ayato directs her to a private room and opens the slide door for her. She entered the smaller room and sits down. She watches Ayato close the door slide doors and sits across from her.

Yui looks around, smelling the strong blood in the air. "Ayato, what is this place?"

"A secret restaurant for vampires," he says proudly. "Only pure bloods are allowed in this place."

"But I'm a half blood."

"I know, but you're with a Sakamaki. Nobody questions whose with me since we're royalty. So you basically have the VIP treatment today, baby."

Yui blushes. "Baby?" She repeats. "Not breastless as usual?"

"Do you want me to call you that?"

"No."

"Then baby it is." Ayato chuckles.

A waitress comes in through the other door that was connected to the kitchen. She hands them the menu and then closes the door again to give them privacy.

Yui looks over the menu. "The lamb sounds good."

"Mmm it's alright, but if you want to try real vampire cuisine then try the raw cow. You'll like it."

"Okay! I'll get that then." She smiles and holds his hand from across the table. "I'm really glad we're doing this, Ayato-Kun."

Ayato blushes, happy that the dimmer lights hid that. "You should be glad. It's rare I take out a girl for a date you know? So you are very lucky."

Yui rolled her eyes but giggled. "Whatever you say, Ayato."

The waitress comes back and orders their food and even gives them a few drinks for free.

Yui takes a sip of her drink. The sweet taste of what she knew was rabbit blood going down her throat smoothly. She would need to fix her lip gloss since she knew the blood would stain her lips.

The young couple looked around, not really saying anything to each other. They lived together in the same mansion therefore they saw each other everyday. Meaning they always knew what went down with the other siblings. So there wasn't much to talk about when it came to the family.

Yui clears her throat. "Are you trying out for the basketball team?" She asked, starting a conversation.

Ayato nods. "Yeah but I don't know...Reiji thinks it's a waste of time."

"Well Reiji thinks anything that doesn't involve studies is a waste," she retorted and Ayato couldn't help but laugh.

"Yeah you're right. I'll probably do it just to spite him." He grinned. "And as my girlfriend you have to come to my games and cheer for me."

Yui nods. "Of course I will. Why wouldn't I? I don't know much about the sport but I'll learn so I'll know what's going on." She smiles and Ayato can just melt.

Why was his girlfriend so damn cute!?

Their food soon arrived and Yui was shocked that her meal was completely raw. Until she remembered that's what she ordered and ignored the fact this would be her first time eating chopped up raw cow.

Normally the idea of eating something raw would've grossed her out but she was actually excited to try this dish.

She picks up her chopsticks and grabs a hold of a small piece of the meat, taking a bite.

Ayato watches for her reaction as she swallows her food. "Well?"

Yui giggles. "I love it!"

Ayato sighs in relief and watches his small girlfriend eat away her meat. She even ordered some more and took some of the lamb from his own plate.

Although Ayato prefers his thirst to be satisfied with human blood, this was enough animal blood to keep him maintained for awhile.

Yui takes the napkin and dabs her lips, cleaning herself up from the blood that stained her lips. "I think I'm gonna check myself in the bathroom mirror." She says and gets up.

Ayato nods. "I'll get the check then."

Yui smiles. "Okay." She leaves the private room and goes to the bathroom.

She closes the door and takes a deep breath, fixing herself up in front of the mirror. "Okay dinner date going good, let's hope it continues that way." She whispers to herself, applying lip gloss after cleaning her lips from the blood.

Ayato pays the bill and was getting more nervous the more time Yui took. He takes his card out and puts it on the small receipt, handing it over to the waitress who came to pick it up for him.

He started to feel a little nervous and honestly if he had a heart that still worked, it would be beating extremely fast.

Yui looked so beautiful tonight. Ayato was amazed, yet terrified at the same time.

A girl as beautiful and lovely as that can easily get snatched away by anyone!

He chuckles to himself. "I'm Sakamaki Ayato! No one can out do me or steal my girl." He stated confidently. "And if they tried, I'll kill them myself."

Yui comes back and sits down.

"You got everything?" Ayato asks her.

She nods. "Yeah, I'm ready to go."

"Okay, lets go." They walk out of their small private room and leave through the back again.

When they walked out, they saw a couple making out in the alleyway. Yui blushes and looks away as she felt she was invading their privacy, even if they were doing this in public.

Ayato held her hand and led her out of the alleyway and back onto the busy streets of Tokyo.

"What now?" Yui asks, looking up at Ayato.

"We can either catch a late movie or go to those 24 hours arcade." He suggests. "Whichever you want to do."

Yui shrugs. "There's not a lot of good movies out right now...maybe the arcade will be the best option?"

Ayato nods and takes her to a shopping center that was well known to have floors dedicated to hundred of arcade games. It's been awhile since he last played an arcade game but he was ready to show Yui his skills.

They enter the first floor and walk around until a game sparked their interest.

Ayato uses his change and starts playing the basketball game. Yui stood by the side and cheered him on, just making him more determined and also nervous. The last thing he wanted was to look like a huge fool in front of his girlfriend.

After a minute of shooting, the game ended and Ayato's score was a total of twenty baskets in one minute.

Yui was in awe. "Wow! You're amazing, Ayato-Kun."

Ayato grinned. "Why of course-" he stops mid sentence when a disgusting smell filled the room.

Yui looks at him funny but then also smelled it. "Another half-blood?" She whispers.

He nods and collects the tickets he won before taking Yui's hand and they go to another floor by using the escalator.

"Is everything okay?" She asks.

Ayato shrugs and pulls her closer to him. "I think we're fine but just incase don't you dare wander off."

"Ayato-"

"I mean it Yui." He says more sternly and they step out of the escalator, moving over to the side to allow other people to exit the escalator.

Ayato holds her by the shoulders, looking deep into her eyes. "I can't lose you again." He says in a low whisper, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. "God dammit if I fucking lose you again, I'll go crazy. You're mine...only mine." He then hugs her.

Yui knew it was wrong to go against Ayato's orders and although she loved her freedom, she didn't want to get kidnapped again. She got "lucky" that the Mukami brothers weren't fully monsters but she wasn't sure who these werewolves were. And what exactly they wanted from her. Although they were out in public, Yui knew that staying with Ayato was the safest thing for her to do.

She kisses him lovingly on the lips before either of them can say anything.

"You won't lose me," she promises. "Never again."

Ayato kisses her again. "Good. Because your god shall need to show mercy to whoever dares take away my prey."

After another hour of playing arcade games and getting enough tickets to win Yui a prized bear, the young couple began to walk home.

It was very late at night and it was a little spooky, but Yui felt protected as she walked hand in hand with her boyfriend.

She happily listened to him as he told stories of his childhood and of the vampire world.

"Maybe one day I can join you and your brothers when you visit the vampire world," she comments. "Just to see for myself."

"We only go for royal family meetings or public appearances we have to make," he says. "It's honestly not that fun...but there is that carnival coming up so maybe we can go then."

"The carnival?" Yui repeats. "Oh! You're referring to the Vandead Carnival right?"

"Ah so you have heard of it. Well, to tell you more about it, every year they chose-" He stops once again and pulls Yui to his chest, holding her as he looks around. "Not a sound from you." He whispers to her ear.

Ayato checks his surroundings. "I know you're there!" He yells. "Come out and show yourself coward!"

Nobody responded to him. Only the soft wind that rustled the leaves on the trees made a sound.

Yui tightened her fists on his shirt, starting to feel nervous. Then she began to smell it too.

An awful yet very familiar smell. A scent she would've never been able to pick up before when she was just a human girl.

Then finally, out of the shadows a man stepped out. His once nicely combed blonde hair now messed up and his pastor outfit dirty from the bottom and undone.

Ayato growled. "You stay the hell away from us!" He shouted but the man only stepped closer to them.

Ayato holds Yui even closer, never softening his grip on her. But Yui slightly pulls away from Ayato to turn to the man to finally face him.

"Father." She mumbles and the man nodded, happy that his little girl still recognized him despite of his appearance.

"Yui," Seiji whispers, smiling brightly to finally see his daughter in the moonlight. "I finally have found you."

Ayato frowns and pulls Yui to stand behind him. "Not a step closer."

Seiji turned to Ayato. "You monster...you know she wasn't meant to go to your damn mansion!" He yells. "One of you bastards kidnapped her at the airport and brought her here. She was supposed to be with me!"

Yui eyes widen. "Ayato is this true?"

Ayato said nothing so Yui hits his arm. "Answer me!" She pleaded, tears falling down her cheeks.

"Yes it's true!" He says, looking at her. "Yui...remember your promise?"

She nods so he continues. "It's true...you were never meant to be our sacrificial bride."

I am so sorry to end this chapter in a cliffhanger but I needed to seriously update this story and I am so happy you were all very patient with me and have lasted this long with me! Next chapter it is currently being in the works and I am so excited since I have new last minute conflicts that may seem random but is relevant to the plot.
