Chapter 11: From another World

A month passed inside the Great Valley after Ducky asked Aqua to be her boyfriend, today an event is going to happen… but this time it's happening in the Mysterious Beyond.

The same cliff from the last time is behind the other male weird thing named Saphir that was thirteen year old along with his three friends, like before he was here to fight the evil that threat his world along with the others but when Him launch a powerful spell toward them he place himself in front of it to protect his friends, suddenly he sees on his left that his friend Aqua also want to protect his friends and shortly after him his female weird thing friend like the group of seven would call them on his right also wanting to protect her friends, when he sees that he thought they were crazy: why sacrifice three of them to save only one of his friends while he could have taken the spell alone and sacrifice his life to save their lives but now all he could do was closing his eyes waiting for the spell to hit them.

The spell knock him with his friends from the cliff they were standing on, when he falls into the water he loses consciousness immediately upon entering the water, his body then falls from the sky and fall into a fast water but fortunately for him his body resurface with his head placed above the water, the current from the river transport his body for a long time before he starts to regain consciousness, when he wakes up he turns his head slightly to the right and to the left to see where he was but he doesn't recognize anything around him, he swims back to the shore and dried himself before walking away to try to find someone.

Saphir feels like there's something strange with his body, he was going to see what it was until he notice a pond near him, he decide to check himself with the reflection of the water to see more than with his eyes if he looks down now, when he sees his refection he couldn't believe what he was seeing, his entire body has change radically, his skin was like a reptile, his hands are much closer to his body, he has a mohawk hairstyle instead of his original hairstyle with four feathers behind the mohawk and he has longer feets but at least he still has his red eyes and his new hair are still blue but now all his body is also blue.

Well he can't change this on his own so he thought that the only way for him to change back was to return to his world was to find his new kind here, he continues his search until suddenly he bumps someone which slightly dazed him, he shakes his head and said.

Saphir: "Sorry I didn't see you there"

The dinosaur slowly returns himself revealing himself to be Rooter and said to Saphir.

Rooter: "Don't worry it happens often that someone bumps into me because my colour hides me well! My name is Rooter"

Saphir has never seen a creature like him before but he decides to stay polite and get as much information about what he is and said to him.

Saphir: "My name is Saphir! I'm sorry to bother you but do you what kind I am?"

Rooter: "You are a Fast Runner"

Saphir: "A Fast Runner eh? With feets like that I believe you but what is a Fast Runner exactly?"

Rooter: "Fast Runners are dinosaurs that can run very fast like there name said, Fast Runners are Halftooth which means they can eat green foods and meat but your kind eat the meat that's inside snapping shells!"

"So I'm still omnivore then but the only meat I can eat now is oysters if this snapping shells means! Maybe there are other meats I can eat too but I will have to ask them!" said Saphir in his mind.

Saphir: "Do you know where my kind live?"

Rooter: "I know there was a family of Fast Runners living inside Hanging Rock but a lot of things happen for the last six Cold Times in the Mysterious Beyond, they might not live there anymore!"

Saphir: "I still need to check in case their still there! In which direction is it?"

Rooter: " It's to the west from here! When you will see a big rock you will know that you have arrived"

Saphir: "Thank you for your help Rooter bye!"

Then Saphir leaves Rooter and walk toward the west, he would not stop before he find it.

Meanwhile Ruby was passing her day with her family, she was watching her little brother and her little sister until she heard her father Ovi said to his mate.

Ovi: "Ravi! Do you know where I left the object from my childhood?"

Ravi: "You can't find it? Are you sure you bring him with you when we came here?"

Ovi: "No I can't find it! This means I forgot it at Hanging Rock!"

Ravi: "Only you can forget such an important object for you!"

Then suddenly an idea came in Ruby's mind, she could help her father so she said to him.

Ruby: "Dad! If you want I can accompany you with me and go to our old home to retrieve it! To retrieve it in our old home I can come with you!"

Ovi: "Yes you can but that will let your mother alone with your little brother and little sister"

Ruby's little brother & little sister: "We want to see our old home again to, we miss it so much!"

Ravi: "Calm down you two, the way is too dangerous now!"

Suddenly Littlefoot and the other came to see why Ruby hasn't come to play with all of them and have heard what Ruby's little brother & little sister said to Ruby and her father so Cera said to them.

Cera: "If you go somewhere we come with you! And you can bring your entire family with you"

Littlefoot: "They seems to really want to come, in addition if we come with you they will be safe, after all there's safety in numbers!"

Ruby's little brother & little sister: "Yes please accept Mom!"

Ravi: "Alright I will because I also want to see it again!"

And with tha said the group of seven along with Ruby's family leave the Great Valley and travels toward Hanging Rock.

Saphir finally saw a big rock in the distance that was hanging slightly to the left after travelling for an hour, when he sees it he said in his mind.

"This must be it! They way to it was harder than I thought it would but I got there anyway!"

He explore the place, he finds the old pond of Ruby's family near it and begins to head toward Hanging Rock however he sees that's there multiple cave inside the rock which can make a family flee easily if there are in any danger in the area so he decide to stay there until he heard rustle nearby, in his old body he wouldn't have heard it but since it change he was able to hear more so he hides to see what it is.

Just after Saphir hide himself behind a rock the group of seven along with Ruby's family leaves the bushes, they were the rustle Saphir heard before he hide himself, all of them walk toward Hanging Rock until suddenly in the middle of the way Chomper said to them.

Chomper: "Hold on everyone! I smell someone up there!"

Spike: "Is it dangerous for us?"

Chomper: "No! It's another Fast Runner! A male one if what I smell is right"

Ovi: "I didn't know that there was another Fast Runner in the area when we lived here!"

Ravi: "He is probably hiding here to safe himself from monsters and Sharpteeths!"

Cera: "When we get to the top we'll tell him he has nothing to fear from us!"

Ruby: "You're right Cera! Cera is right!"

When the group of seven and Ruby's family reach the top, they saw nothing but since Chomper smelled a male Fast Runner up here Littlefoot speak loudly and said.

Littlefoot: "Hello? My name is Littlefoot! Can you hear me? Don't worry you have nothing to fear from us!"

Saphir heard him, so what he heard was a group and since he was able to hide before they came here so they have something to detect him, he could have run from them but since he doesn't who they are he can't see if they were able to run faster than him and even if they can't catch him since they were a group they could work together to get him caught, with that in mind he comes slowly from behind the rock where he was hiding with his hands up to show that he surrenders and tell them.

Saphir "Please don't hurt me! My name is Saphir and I mean no harm to you!"

When Saphir sees Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, Petrie and Chomper he cannot believe what he sees his eyes, in front of him there were six creatures which he had never seen before, Ruby and her family was behind them so he didn't see them and said.

Meanwhile when Ruby sees Saphir she got a strange feeling she has never felled before, she doesn't know what it is so she doesn't think about it for now.

Saphir: "Sorry for the intrusion here but this is were I was told to come if I wanted to find my kind"

Ruby and her family show themselves and said to him.

Ovi: "Don't worry about that young one! My name is Ovi and you can use our old home to be safe but it's more dangerous here now since the event that happened six Cold Times ago"

Ravi: "My name is Ravi! We came here because my mate forgot something here when we move out so that's why we here today, you're lucky it wasn't another day because you will not have seen us then"

Saphir: "The reason I want to meet you is because I believe you are the key for me to return in my world!"

Chomper: "My name is Chomper! So you're from another world?"

Saphir: "I know that's sounds crazy but I was battling a powerful monster with three of my friends from there but it launch a powerful spell against three of us which make us fell from the cliff we were standing on and I lost consciousness when I felled into the water, when I regain consciousness and look around me I didn't recognize anything and my body was changed when I see myself inside a pond"

Ruby: "My name is Ruby! What you said to us made remind me about what said Light to us all those Cold Times ago! Those Cold Times ago Light said the same thing to us for his body!"

When Saphir heard the name Ruby said he couldn't believe what he heard and said to her.

Saphir: "Did you say Light? I know him because he was my friends, where he is now?"

Ducky: "My name is Ducky! He didn't show himself to us since then, we don't know where he is now sorry"

Saphir was sad to hear that but decide to have more information so he said to them.

Cera: "Didn't Light say to us he has friends before but he was the only one left?"

Saphir: "Well I'm not dead as you can see for yourself, I guess he assumed we were dead since he wasn't able to find me!"

Littlefoot: "You're probably right Saphir!"

Saphir: "Why did Light came here for anyway, is something happening here?"

Petrie: "Me Petrie! Me tell to Saphir! Monsters came from your world with a powerful being called Him, he want to conquer our world!"

Saphir: "Him he's here! That's not good but I see that you are well equipped for the situation!"

Littlefoot: "It was Light that give us power along with the rest of what we have, he ask us to defeat him before it's too late!"

Saphir: "So you don't live here anymore eh? Can I join you then to live where you live? I have a feeling he will be back there soon!"

Ruby: "Of course you can come with us! With us you can come!"

Ovi: "And I found what I left here while you were talking with Saphir"

Littlefoot: "Well now I can use Zoom to go back at the entrance of the Great Valley since we got what we came here for!"

Cera, Spike, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper, Ruby and Ruby's family put a hand or a paw on Littlefoot's back along with Saphir since he knows the spell and all of them transform into a blue light and fly toward the Great Valley.

They land at the entrance the valley and upon entering Saphir saw the beauty of the valley and said to them.

Saphir: "I never saw such a place before! It's so beautiful here!"

Littlefoot: "We're going to see our parents! There the leaders here so if you want to live here we need to talk to them!"

Saphir: "Alright lead the way everyone!"

Ruby's parents separate themselves from the group and returns to the Secret Caverns, the group of seven walks toward their parent's usual spot, when they sees them Tria said to them.

Tria: "Our kids came back with another person! This time it's a Fast Runner!"

Saphir: "My name is Saphir! I came from the same world as Light!"

Mr Threehorn: "Light was a Rainbow Face when he came here! Why are you different?"

Grandma Longneck "Well Saphir is not the same person as Light so each person changes according to his or her personality, I could be wrong but I think it make sense"

Saphir: "I want to ask you if can live here until Light returns! That way I could go back to my world with him!"

Grandpa Longneck: "With what Light did for us all those Cold Times ago I will gladly accept however you will live with Ruby's family since you are a Halftooth!"

Saphir: "Thank you for your hospitality"

Then suddenly Chrono & Stella came to greet them and said.

Chrono & Stella: "Greetings young ones! It seems they have bring another one with them again"

Saphir: "My name is Saphir! I'm not from this world"

Stella: "So that's what we detected! It came from you"

Saphir: "What do you mean?"

Chrono: "The kids that brought you here found five weird round things that have the same energy as you do which also came from your world"

Saphir: "Can I see them?"

Chrono & Stella: "Here come with us! There are not far from here"

Chrono & Stella walks with the group of seven and Saphir until they arrived were the five weird things are, when Saphir sees them he couldn't believe his eyes and said to everyone that was near him.

Saphir: "These are the Orbs! There are legendary artefact from my world! What are they doing here?"

Littlefoot: "We think Him brought them here to use them, they seems to have huge powers but we don't know what can they do except granting a wish to the person who find it and show us sleep stories!"

"Sleep stories eh? That must be dreams! I wonder what they are showing to them? I need to ask them now!" said Saphir in his mind.

Saphir: "What kind of sleep stories?"

Spike : "There are sleep stories about weird things saving their world from an evil threat!"

Saphir: "Well in my world these orbs were presumed lost since way before I was born, it seems Him found them but I didn't know they can grant wishes! I don't know what these weird things are but what you said made me remember the Heroes from the past! All of them saved their world from an evil threat so I think there is a connection with them!""

Cera: "Well all the ones we found have been already used, four have been used when dinosaurs were the same and the last one was used by Chomper's Dad with his best friend"

Saphir: "I don't know a lot about them but if Him brought them here he most certainly have a plan for them!"

Chrono: "You brought us a lot of information Saphir! Thank you for that!"

Saphir: "Well I'm not the smartest from my world but I was glad I could help all of you!"

Ducky: "I can't wait to introduce to all our friend and I still need to help Aqua regained his memories!"

"Aqua eh? He has the same name that my friend from my world but a lot of person can be named like that! I don't know if he survive along with my other friends, if I was able to do it he probably did it too!"

The rest of the day continues normally until the day ends.

So the weird round things the group of seven found are named Orbs, sadly that's the only news they learns about them and still doesn't know what use Him have for them, it seems that Saphir was right to search for his new kind here and it seems that Aqua and him could know each but since Aqua lost his memories and his body changed too there couldn't be a way for Saphir to know it's his old friend for now.

Next time on The Land Before Time : Journey to save The Great Valley a month passed after they found Saphir in Hanging Rock until another mysterious female person felled from the sky and land inside Black Rock, she sees herself inside a pond inside and find a legendary artefact before she is able to go out of Black Rock, she meets a dinosaur which is none other than Doc, he agrees to take her to the Great Valley because he can't beat the monsters alone.
