Dinner passed without incident and Heavy was able to get Starlight back to her brothers as well. Later that night as he laid in his bunk he wondered at the strange feeling that came whenever he thought of her. The strange desire to talk to her about everything that happened, and how he had wanted to kill any brother who would insult her. Once again he wondered why he was changing like this. For the first time he was afraid, that he would loose her and that happiness that he had with her.
Little did he know that across the ship Starlight was thinking of how comfortable it was to be with him. For the first time in her life she was fully relaxed with someone outside of her four people. It was strange that she felt safe with him, even when the threatening strange one came she knew that she wouldn't be hurt because Heavy was there. It was a new sensation, and one that she wanted to have forever. She smiled, happy to face the morning.
