I'm sorry. I'm so bad at writing action chapters, so I'm sorry if this sucks. Hope everyone is still enjoying.

Anakin arrived on Mustafar not even sure what he was supposed to be looking for, all he knew was even with the climate control settings in his suit, it was extremely hot on this planet. He looked around at the lava and hot rocks everywhere, not understand why anyone would willing come to this planet.

He walked into the control center hoping to find someone. The moment he landed he tried connecting Palpatine with no luck. He shook his head knowing if the roles were reversed he wouldn't hear the end of it.

Lifting his hand, he used the force to open the door and sensed no one inside. The more he was here the odder this place felt. He saw the computer scenes where still on as if someone was here, but had to leave in a hurry.

"Hello?" He called out frustrated.

Maybe he should try contacting Palatine again? Maybe he got the wrong coordinates sent to him or something or maybe this was a trap. No. He seemed pretty persistent about getting this part. Maybe he was just testing his worthiness, wanting to see if he could listen and follow his directions.

He grew frustrated and slammed his hands on the control panel. He looked up as a small alarm started to go off. He realized he needed to be careful with what he touched. All these controls seemed to keep this building from falling into the lava bank below and that didn't seem like the most appealing way to die.

He exhaled hoping if this was a bust at least Asoka or Obi-wan might come and he could explain everything and make them understand. He didn't want to think what she told Obi-wan and everyone when she returned. They probably weren't even coming, who was he kidding.

I wondered what Padme thought when she told her. Did she believe in what Ahsoka thought? That I betrayed them all or did she truly believe he wouldn't dare do anything to harm her. That everything he did was for her. It was and would always be for her.

He heard another alarm going off and looked up at the monitor to see an oncoming ship arriving on the planet. He saw it wasn't an imperial shuttle, so it had to be one of the rebels. He looked closer at the scene, trying to figure out how he knew that ship. Then he remembered.

He's just being protective. He probably just thought you were doing something to my ship

Padme.

What was she doing here? She shouldn't be on this awful planet. He specifically didn't ask for to come for that very reason. It was dangerous and he had no idea what kind of threat awaited them here.

Padme landed the ship and sighed trying to calm her nerves.

"I know I said I wouldn't put your life at risk anymore little one, but this is different. This is personal." Padme softly spoke trying not to replay Ahsoka's word in her head like she had this whole flight.

She looked around at this awful planet, wondering why Anakin would even be here. It definitely wasn't a place she would want to come back too.

She put her elbow on the control panel and placed her hand to her forehead. She was feeling tired and weak all of a sudden.

She knew she shouldn't have come here and should have listened to C3po when he yelled at her or she should have at least told Obi-wan or someone. She just knew she had to get here and see for herself if her Ani was truly gone and if all of this was a lie. She also knew, if they got here first, they would kill him and no matter what happened and no matter what he has or hasn't done she couldn't let them do that.

She wasn't even sure where to looked for Anakin at. She felt her belt thankful she remembered to grab her blaster. She wasn't sure what kind of vile creature or person was here, but she was having a bad feeling about this place and knowing it was here made her feel slightly better.

She opened the top of her ship and slowly climbed out looking around. She saw a figure dressed in all black up ahead looking at her and her hand slowly moved to her blaster. This was a bad idea. A very bad idea. What if she heard them wrong and Mustafar wasn't the planet they said.

Suddenly the figure removed his mask and she saw the face of her love. She saw him throw the mask down and ran to her. Anakin, she thought as she ran to him burying her face in the hard black armor.

Anakin moved his hand to her hair tightening his hand around her. He was afraid to let go. He knew it has only been a day or two since he saw her, but in that time he was afraid he wouldn't see her again. As much as he wished she wasn't here, man, did it feel great to see her and touch her again.

"What are you doing here?" He said into her hair as she slowly pulled away looking at him up close for the first time.

She saw he was wearing the Vader suit. "Ahsoka was right." She slowly backed away seeing the hurt on his face as her voice broke.

Anakin looked down realizing what this must look like. He cursed himself for not taking the suit off, but he didn't have time. "Angel, no listen to me." He said seeing the tears fill her eyes. He stepped closer to her as she backed away. "Look, after I was captured, Palpatine came to talk to me. He told me he knew of the rebel location. I don't know how, but I swear I didn't tell him. He told me the only way he would stop the attack and you would be safe, was if I joined him. I didn't want too, trust me, I didn't, but I had too. I knew with that kind of unexpected attack, the rebellion would be no match. This turned into a good thing thought. I find out something that I wanted to warn you about, but I couldn't do back on Coruscant."

"What did you find out?" Padme asked her voice finally sounding closer to normal.

"He is building a weapon, something big. He wouldn't tell me much about it, but that was why I was sent here. I'm supposed to get a piece for it." Anakin told her.

A weapon? This was never ending. She felt herself getting dizzy. Everything was starting to become too much. She felt her knees give out on and she fell to the ground catching herself slightly.

"Padme!" Anakin said sitting next to her. Brushing his gloved hand against her face. He noticed how pale she looked and the dark circles under her eyes. "Are you alright?"

She looked at him, at his face, at his eyes. She saw those beautiful blue eyes looking back at her with such fear and concern. Ahsoka was wrong. He is telling the truth. She wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling his arms wrap on her.

"I'm sorry. I doubted you. I didn't believe Ahsoka, but then I saw the suit and all my fears started to come true." She said feeling the tears run down her face.

He smirked wiping away the tears and looking into her eyes. "I probably should have changed, before I ran to you. I'm sorry."

She gave a small chuckled before moving her hands to his face. "Anakin leave with me. Let's go to some far outer rim planet like you wanted too."

"Padme, what, what about the rebellion? About Palpatine?" he asked not believing what he was hearing.

"I don't care anymore. All my life, I have put other things before myself and my happiness, but I'm done. All I want is your love, Anakin and," Slowly she started to smile behind her tears. She grabbed his hand and moved it to her stomach. "Our family."

Anakin looked at where she placed his hand and then back at her until slowly he understood. 'You're, you're pregnant?"

She nodded her head feeling a new wave of tears coming down.

"We're gonna have a baby?" He said his smile getting bigger.

"Yes." She said nodding her repeatedly.

He looked around, not believing what she told him. Obviously, this isn't the best of times, but who cares. They were going to have a baby. They were going to be a family.

He grabbed her face and kissed her all over tasting her tears with each kiss.

"Now come on. Let's leave this awful planet." She said slowly standing up.

Anakin suddenly stiffened. "Padme get in your ship." He looked around.

"What? What is it?" She asked grabbing his arm, not sure what he senses.

"Get in the ship now!" He yelled at her.

"What a touching moment?" He heard the menacing voice say as he looked over and saw Palpatine walking over to them. He pushed Padme behind him and took out his lightsaber or his old lightsaber as the red light glowed around them.

"You promise you wouldn't harm her. Let her go and I'll leave with you." Anakin said.

"Anakin no." He heard her say behind him.

"I believe I said, she wouldn't be harmed in that one attack and she wasn't was she?" Palpatine smirked as a few clones stepped out around him.

"You will not touch her!" He yelled gripping the light saber tighter.

"Did you think I wasn't going to find out you tried to turn against me again and communicate with the rebels? I told you, I have eyes and ears everywhere, even in that little rebellion." Palpatine smirked at them.

"Let her go. This fight is between you and me. She has nothing to do with this." Anakin said.

"You see. I thought the same thing, then I remembered how many times you were supposed to kill her, but didn't, so I wasn't going to let her escape again. Then I overheard a little conversation, about a baby. "He smiled wickedly. "I figured maybe my mistake with you was you were too old. Maybe if I trained my new apprentice from birth, they won't turn against me."

"You will never lay one finger on this baby!" Padme yelled at him.

Palpatine chuckled. "Always the out spoken one aren't we Senator."

He felt Padme's hand move to her blaster and he knew she was about to do something really stupid. "I'm warning you. Let her go or there will be an issue."

"Are you threatening me? Dear boy, you seem to forget, I'm the one who taught you everything. "Palpatine said before jumping and spin at Anakin with his lightsaber ignited.

He pushed Padme out of the way and blocked his attack.

Padme pulled out her blaster and started to fire on the few clone troopers that where here.

"I can still feel the darkness inside of you. You can't get rid of it so easily." Palpatine mocked him as he swung his lightsaber.

Anakin blocked it, trying to remember Obi-wan's lessons. Don't let you anger and aggression get the best of you. Pay attention. Let the force guide you.

Palpatine laughed. "I see the Jedi have tried training you. You threw away all those years of training, for nothing. Look at you. You are weak. You can't even save, Padme from an untimely death."

He shot force lightening over at her, but Anakin stepped in the way before it could hit her. He grunted, but has grown used to it over the years.

"Ani!" Padme yelled.

Anakin looked over at her seeing she was save and has managed to take down a few clone troopers.

He saw one stand up and aim at her, while she wasn't looking. He used the force to send, the clone flying over the edge and all they heard was a scream.

Anakin stepped towards Palpatine sending attack after attack at him as Padme shot the last of the clones.

Palpatine forced pushed Anakin back and over the edge into the lava below.

She heard his scream and looked over. "No!"

Palpatine turned his head and looked at her with this wicked smirk. "No one here to protect you now."

Padme looked down seeing Anakin's lightsaber. She knew she wasn't skilled with that weapon and didn't stand a chance against Palpatine, but she would rather die trying than allow him to harm her baby.

She ran over to it, jumping out of the way of Palpatine's force lighting. Quickly she picked it up and ignited it. She hoped this would be similar to handling a sword or a spear.

"Lord Vader, couldn't stop me. You think a little old senator from Naboo can?" He laughed. "Foolish girl."

"Argh!" Anakin jumped up from behind, kicking Palpatine in the back sending him falling forward.

"Anakin!" Padme said throwing the lightsaber at him as he caught it and turned towards Palpatine sending an attack that Palpatine quickly blocked.

Both their red lightsaber met in the middle, lightening up both their faces a vile red color. "You would give all this up for her."

Anakin grunted pushing hard down with his lightsaber.

"You think I don't know about your dreams? The very same dreams you used to have about your mother that you couldn't stop. How do you think you are going to stop these ones? You can't! You are weak and she will die just like your mother did." Palpatine yelled

Anakin felt his anger rising. He kicked him and stepped towards him sending attack after attack. Barely even looking where he was striking. He just wanted him dead.

Palpatine eyes grew large fearing the worse, but he saw his opening. He smirked before swinging his lightsaber around and slicing off Anakin's arm right below the elbow.

Anakin screamed in pain as he fell to his knees holding the stub of what used to be his hand. He looked up feeling the hot air run through this hair. This was it. He knew it. He looked over at Padme knowing he couldn't save himself let alone her or their baby.

"It pains me to do this it really does." Palpatine smirked down at him.

Padme fired her blaster at him hitting him in the shoulder. He swung his head and looked at her, before lifting his hand.

Padme slowly felt her throat tighten up. She dropped her blaster and moved her hands towards her throat.

"No!" Anakin tried standing up only to be pushed back to the ground, by the force.

Anakin looked up hearing the sound of a ship. He saw two cruisers landing and he knew who they were before they even landed.

Palpatine looked up and grunted. He released Padme and ran past her to his imperial shuttle.

Padme fell to her knees coughing, trying to fill her lungs with air. She looked over at Anakin as he fell over and was laying on the grounding wincing in pain.

Ahsoka and Obi-wan jumped out of their cruisers. Ahsoka started to ran to Palpatine. She wasn't going to let him escape this time.

"Ahsoka! Stop!" Obi-wan yelled she looked over with rage in her eyes. "It's too late."

Padme crawled over to Anakin as his eyes were shut and he was biting his lip so hard she was surprised it wasn't bleeding. The pain he was feeling was far greater than anything he has ever felt, before. The pain basically putting his body in shock. He couldn't think and he could barely move. His body was screaming at him and there was nothing he or the force could do to stop the pain.

"Ani. Anakin!" He heard Padme yell at him as she looked at him. Her eyes growing large seeing his injury. "Oh no." She whispered running her fingers through his hair trying to comfort him as best as she could.

Anakin tried to open this eyes, but could only do so slightly. "Wow. Am I dying? Cause it sure looks like an angel is staring down at me." he chuckled slightly only to be greeting by multiple hits from Padme.

"Anakin Skywalker, you are not dying." She said with each hit.

"He needs to be taken to a medical bay. You both do." Obi-wan said looking down at them.

"Polis Massa is close by. I can inform them, we are coming." Ahsoka said running to her ship to grab her holocomm.

Padme grabbed Anakin's other hand and felt him squeezed it back so tightly, she knew it was going to be bruised. "Is he gone? Is he dead?" he asked her.

Padme looked over to where Palpatine ran off too. "No. Not yet." she said grimly.

She heard Anakin grunt as he tried sitting up. She tried helping him, but struggled. She looked over and saw Obi-wan on his other side. She smiled as he helped her lift him up and they took him to ship.
