I don't own any characters in the Percy Jackson universe which is rightfully owned by Rick Riodan. However, the Greek gods and/or other mythological figures are used in my own imagination and well you can't claim copyright on history.
Chapter 22
I follow the sounds of crying. Calypso was crying in her garden. She sees me and wipes her tears. I went over and hugged her, comforting her.
"It's okay. Let it out."
She sniffles, tightening the hug. She finally let's go.
"I'm sorry." She says.
"For what? The worst thing you've done to me was force-feeding me. I should be sorry for causing you so much trouble."
"No, that's not it. You see, as a part of my curse I'm forced to fall in-"
"Fall in love with the hero. Any hero that appears here on the verge of death." I finish her sentence, finally understanding Aphrodite.
"Yes…" She replied softly.
I grit my teeth. It was so unfair to her. She made 1 mistake and was trapped here. Forced to fall in love with people that she didn't even know. I respected the Olympians and even had felt like many of them were family, but that didn't mean I agreed with every single decision they had made. This was by far one of the worst.
"Can you tell me why you love me?"
"Have you ever seen yourself?" She says with a small giggle.
She claps and suddenly a mirror comes floating over.
"The gods were ever so merciful and allowed invisible servants."
I nod and take the mirror and all I can say was that I looked like a mess. My hair was a burnt rats nest. I looked a bit skinnier as my usually toned muscles seemed smaller. Besides that, I haven't changed much. Suddenly, I noticed my eyes. They were like a kaleidoscope. With hints of red-orange-yellow, purple, blue-green, silver, and gray. The colors shimmered as I turned the mirror from various angles. The colors weren't fixed in my irises, so every angle had provided a slightly different pattern of colors.
"Seems you've noticed. Your eyes are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I haven't seen a rainbow in many millennia, Percy." She pauses. "Could you stay here with me."
"I can't, I'm the child of prophecy. I'm on a quest right now, as we speak."
"No, Percy. I told you time here was as fluid as water. If you stay here, the prophecy will move onto someone else. You can be free."
That offer was tempting. I almost accepted, but suddenly I remembered my friends. My family. My home. I decided, for now, I wouldn't say anything.
"Can you tell me about where you're from?" She asks.
"From a place named Manhattan." I glance at the garden. "Things like that are impossible."
"Anyone can plant a garden as long as they have devotion."
"That's not it. There literally is no space to plant gardens."
"How can that be? Isn't Pan there to regulate nature?"
I didn't have the heart to tell her Pan was missing and my friends were currently looking for them. I just look away into the sky. Suddenly a pillar of fire appears. I rush to the area and find Hephestus. Calypso bows.
"Lord Hephestus. It is an honor."
"Rise, Calypso. I need to talk to the hero."
She nods and leaves.
"Percy, you caused a lot of trouble." He holds out his palm and a news channel appears.
"Large scale explosion of Mount St. Helens, leave multiple casualties and many more injured. Even now we don't have an accurate count, as smoke continues to spew from the volcano causing various health problems. Further information will be given after this commercial break."
Before the image flickers, I could feel the mountain move.
"I couldn't have done that. I'm not that strong."
He lets out a belly laugh. When he eventually recovers and looks at me.
"You are the son of the earthshaker. On top of that the champion of Hades, Hestia, Athena, and Artemis. And you want to tell me you aren't that strong? You amuse me, Percy. However, I am not here to tell you to return. That is your choice. Make your decision by sundown. Take these and fire them. Red, if you're going to stay. Blue if you're leaving. Remember if you stay, I will respect your decision."
He leaves in a pillar of fire. I slowly walk back to Calypso. Her lips were pursed in worry.
"Did he order for you to return?" She asks.
"No, he told me to make my decision by sundown."
She nods and makes her way to the garden and waters her plants. She finished and I decided to get into the cave. I lay down in my bed and stare at the ceiling of the cave, thinking. On one hand, I could easily escape my fate. I never wanted to be the hero. On the other, the world could put their fate in my hands. I had friends and family, probably thinking I was dead right now. I hear footsteps and turn my head. Calypso grabs and takes me outside. She seats me on a stool. A pair of scissors float to her hand and she trims my hair, shaping it while making it perfect. She hands me a mirror.
"It's perfect," I tell her.
I climb into the water and rinse my hair then dry it with my powers. She takes me into the bed.
"Hold me. Even if it's for the moment. We still have time before it's sundown. Hopefully." She says softly.
She climbs into my arms and stays there, curled up into the warmth of my body.
The next few scenes may be uncomfortable for some readers. An indication will be given at the end of the scene.
She suddenly reaches up to kiss me.
"Love me. Even if it's just for the moment. Please."
"Are you sure? Doesn't this seem sudden?" I ask.
"I have a feeling that you won't stay. You don't have to say anything. Just focus on me."
I nod and kiss her. She gets more fidgety and starts to run her hands all across my body. Her hands were warm and soothed me. She grabs me and sits me up, climbing back onto my lap. I stare into her perfect almond-colored eyes. I lift her, kissing her as we crash into the wall. She slowly takes off my clothes as I help her out of her chiton. She has a beautiful figure. I could see her looking at me with lustful and I'm aware that I myself was doing the same thing. She takes off my final article of clothing and I bend down to face her womanhood. I give it a tender kiss.
"Oh, gods. Keep going." Calypso purred.
To her request, I continued. I slowly made my tongue up her length and slowly started to enter her with a finger. She mewls in delight and traps my head between her legs. I twist my finger and she suddenly shakes and twitches.
"Percy, I feel something. It's like a fire spreading throughout my body. Don't stop."
"As the lady wishes," I reply.
In a couple of seconds she lets out a scream and I could taste her juices. She collapses and looks up weakly.
"Wow, even your moans are melodic." I tease.
"Stop teasing me. Can we go all the way?" She asks.
"Are you completely sure?"
She nods and pushes me back onto the bed. She climbs on top of me, lining my manhood to her opening.
"Slowly, don't rush."
She slowly starts to descend and suddenly I feel my penis hit something, whatever I had hit tears and Calypso shouts in pain.
"Was this your first time?"
"Yes…"
She slowly lowers herself and groans.
"This hurts."
"Let me do it. I think you might be too aggressive."
I slowly get up and put my hands around her, slowly allowing her to adjust. She starts to slowly move, as her soft lips slowly kiss my neck. I start to slowly increase in speed and she loses it. Now she isn't kissing me as her eyes seem to roll to the back of her head in pure pleasure. As time drags on I also feel the pleasure building.
"Calypso, I'm about to-"
"So am I."
"But, you need to get off or-"
She cuts me off with a kiss and tightens her legs around me.
"Don't worry about that. Make the day count…."
As I speed up, even more, the feeling of pleasure explodes and I cum inside her. She holds me tight as she also feels the intensity of the pleasure and collapses. We lie down, the afterglow of sex clinging to us.
"Must you leave….?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry Calypso."
"What if I promised you everything you wanted. You could have me-"
End of scene.
I stop with a kiss and look at her sadly.
"I'm so sorry. I can't let everyone down…"
"I understand. At least you made your stay worth it."
We redress. She hands me a small flower wrapped in cloth.
"Plant this for me. Promise me that you'll plant a garden back home."
I nod at her and she hugs me tight.
"Wait a second."
She sings a beautiful song and a raft appears.
"Climb the raft. It will take you where you wish."
"Thank you. For everything. I promise to get you free. I'll come back."
"No, once you leave, you can never come back."
"But-" I start.
She kisses me, pausing me mid-sentence. She leads me to the raft. As soon as I step on the raft starts to move, I could see tears appear in her soft almond eyes. I keep looking at the island as tears also fill my eyes. Eventually, the island is out of view and I fire the blue flare, and fatigue takes over me. I fall asleep and once again Aphrodite appears.
"Well, that was certainly interesting." She says with a giggle.
"Did you make her like that? Myself included? Why must you play with our emotions? Is this all just a game to you!?" I ask and my voice rises with every question.
She disappears in a puff of smoke and reappears behind me. She wraps her hands around me.
"Aw, are you mad… I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you." She purrs.
She blew a puff of pink smoke and I coughed.
"The fuck was that?"
"Don't worry. Just a blessing. Make you look even sexier."
"What if I don't want it."
"Too bad. You already have it."
"Regardless, why are you always pulling strings behind my back," I ask.
"Percy, think about it this way, I want you to be happy. Besides, you also made her happy." She cooed.
"The stronger the attachment, the worse the breakup."
"Oh, stop using that Athena wisdom on me. Besides you're almost home."
I wake up, already having arrived at the shore of camp. I get up walking over into the borders of the camp.
"Percy was a great friend. Always putting others ahead of himself. He was so selfless and caring. May he rest in Elysium."
I saw the entire camp assembled at the campfire, with Annabeth and Thalia leading my funeral.
"Come on guys, shouldn't you invite me to my own funeral? I thought you knew better than that."
I said.
They all turn towards me and I'm surprised to see that quite a few hunters have also attended.
"PERCY!"
End of chapter 22. Calypso will not be playing a significant role in the story, yet. Also, this story will not pair her and Percy together. Thanks for reading and please review. See y'all!
