WARRIORS OF GREEN

HAL JORDAN

Shiera flies Hal to John Stewart's apartment. He takes them in as the police is looking for him and Shiera. It takes a while, but they are able to download Legion's memories and learn that Sinestro is behind Legion's creation and that he is after the Yellow Lantern. With John and Shiera's help , Hal shows them how to build a transmitter to contact Oa. He has to place his ring where the batteries should go.

"Hello is anyone receiving me?"

"Hal Jordan? Why are you contacting us through enhanced primitive communications?"

"Kilowag! Is that you?"

"Of course Hal Jordan."

"Kilowag listen to me! Gather the most skilled Green Lanterns you find and bring them here to earth."

"Why?"

"The Android that killed Abin Sur was called Legion. It came after me and mapped my mind. It took the location of Paralax's prison from my mind."

"I will gather as many of our brothers and sisters as I can. See you soon rookie!"

OA – BOODIKA

Boodika has long green hair, a buxom female Bellatrixian and lover of Sinestro. She is listening to Hal Jordan's transmission to Kilowag. She contacts Sinestro, "Why are you contacting me?"

"Hal Jordan is still alive…He has contacted Kilowag, who is gathering other Lanterns and heading for earth." Her transmission is cut off, "Sinestro! Sinestro!"

She is hit in the back with a blast from a power ring wielded by an Alien named Katma Tui. She is slammed into the wall and is strung up by a construct of a gallows. Boodikka's ring is taken away. "Katma!"

"Boodikka."

"How did you know?"

"Abin Sur suspected it was Sinestro, but he wasn't sure. He confided in me and set with the task of watching from the shadows. My pupil Kovanno followed the human Hal Jordan to earth and watched him."

"What will you do to me?"

"Take you before the Guardians traitor!"

EARTH

KILOWAG

Kilowag leads a team of Laterns to Earth, they are Tomar Re, Arisia, Varix, Kraken, Lashorr, Laira Hannu, Salaak and Ch'p. They fly to John Stewarts apartment. "Is this all you bought?" Hal asks.

"There is an emergency in Sector 459. An Invasion by a hostile race…The Guardians sent many Lanterns to fight."

They give Hal medicine to fix his arm. "Alright Abin Sur's knowledge is mine and I have a plan to defeat the enemy…The Yellow Lantern has a weakness Sinestro is not aware of and we can use that to our advantage…First we fly to the edge of the system I don't want this fight to take place on earth." John Stewart helps with the planning of the attack."

"I am coming with you Hal Jordan." Shiera says.

He nods and then locks arms with John as they get ready to leave. "Man I wish I was coming with you."

Hal smiles, "Hold down the fort until I come back."

THE GREEN LANTERNS

They fly out in unison, Shiera using a breathing mask and personal shield to traverse through space and not freeze. They reach the path of Pluto's circuit around the sun. Combining their ring power they create a great war ship and use Hal's Lantern to power the Construct. A few minutes pass when the Yellow Lanterns led by Sinestro arrive.

The Green energy made warship opens fire on the Yellow ring wearers. They surround the ship and hit it from all sides, but the construct is very powerful. Meanwhile Shiera also has a personal cloaking device and makes sneak attacks against the Yellow Lanterns.

Sinestro sneers and orders his Lanterns to combine their power, but they cannot. "Retreat!"

"They are retreating!" Tomar Re yells.

"We cannot allow them to escape." Hal says, "Construct form H2!" They reshape the Construct into a giant Octopus and with its arms they capture the many Yellow Lanterns. Some of the arms split into three and four arms to capture the rest. Sinestro, Arkillo and two others manage to escape. Hal and the other Lanterns remove their rings and take them back to Oa.

OA

Those who became Yellow Lanterns are imprisoned on Oa and then Hal is summoned before the Guardians along with Kilowag, Tomar Re, Arisia, Varix, Kraken, Lashorr, Laira Hannu, Salaak, Katma Tui, Ch'p, and Kavanno. "Hal Jordan…"We had our concerns about a human gaining the power of the Green Lantern…Our misgivings were unfounded. You foiled Sinestro's plan and have done the legacy and name of Abin Sur justice. Ask any reward and we shall grant it."

He sighs, "My Mother and Uncle were killed when Legion came back to earth. All I ask for time away to mourn them. I also ask that you consider making John Stewart a member of the Green Lantern Corp…"

"Take as much time as you need and we shall allow you to make the offer Hal Jordan."

"I thank you."

EARTH

As Green Lantern Hal returns to earth and clears things up with Emile Hamilton and Amanda Waller. He is deemed a hero as the fight he had with Sinestro and his yellow lanterns was recorded by Wayne Satellites and broadcast across the world.

"Can I crash here until I figure things out."

"Of course."

"John I spoke to the Guardians. They created the Green Lantern Core. I asked and they have agreed to make you a Latern if you want it."

"Man are you serious?"

"I am." He replies showing him his ring. John reverently takes it and puts it on.

He smiles when he tries to activate it, "Not so fast cowboy. First you have to go to Oa and go through the mind vergence process."

"What is that?"

"The knowledge of the Green Lantern core transferred to your mind and then training. Your mentor will be here to get you and take you back to Oa." As Hal told him Jon's mentor shows up and Katma takes him to Oa for training.
