"Strange."

"Lugia?"

"I'm having... visions. What is this?"

"Is it time yet?"

It was a palace made of ice, floating on the sea. It never melted.

There was in arena in the palace. It was huge, with stands with full crowds watching in stunned silence. The ground was layered over with stone, and then dirt and grass sitting on top.

The Keldeo's horn was battered cracked, was rising up and down in a panting Eevee's grasp, pointing towards the Lopunny across from him. He wasn't sweating or struggling yet.

The Eevee's grip tightened.

"Luke!"

The sound of the Eevee's body moving was too high-pitch to fully hear. The Lopunny just stood in the center while Eevee couldn't even be seen during some of his movements.

Eevee went behind the Lopunny, appearing on his left, then on his right. He swung the blade at his leg, but turned spun around last minute. The upwards slash didn't connect with a hair when Lopunny moved his head to the side.

"Dizzy... What was that place?"

"It does not exist yet. I am trying to find the center of the distortion. Just a moment..."

"I don't feel like taking care of it," a voice said. "I have more important things to do then… Leftovers of an experiment."

"We'll drop it by an orphanage. Relax."

"I found it."

"What is it? I'm not waking up for another month, right?"

"You were awake enough to be affected by it. It was the royal families. They combined their power."

"They've done that a lot over the years."

"It was a on a Star, using all three. There's a lot of fate attached."

"Show me."

It was a Furret. She was under the base of an enormous, black skyscraper sitting on a platform on over the water of a marble fountain. She had a brown cape and a gold chain necklace that shined in the lights of the buildings under the night sky. Her eyes were closed in a delicate, smooth manner.

"Pretty..."

"Yes."

"Who is she?"

"The Lodestar. She was trained by an explorer to try and get a position to release her father from prison."

"Is she strong?"

"Perhaps, Your Grace."

"Let me see."

"Yes."

The Furret was put in an area of solid marble with a square shape. Water was in every direction over the horizon, and the clouds up above were enough to invoke fear in any normal person. They glowed a orange color from sunlight, and were much lower than large, puffy clouds normally were.

Hannah stood facing the Furret on an angle while she stood brought out the Keldeo's horn and pointed it at her.

Cinccino was impressed the noise was enough to get the Furret's attention.

"Your armor, Your Grace."

A seep, blue mask grew on Hannah's face. The Furret somehow stayed calm, staring with questions than reacting.

"Very interesting," Hannah observed aloud.

"What is this?" a voice sounded.

"It's not a memory. I don't know what's happening," another said. "Her energy is strong from all of that training. It's making so much visible, but this isn't normal."

"Uhm, should I be worried about this?" Furret asked. "If this isn't normal?"

"Wait... She can hear us. This is happening now. That shouldn't be the case," a voice said. "Wait, that Cinccino's weapon. No way. No way."

That was good for Hannah that they recognized the Keldeo's horn. It means she could definitely find it when her rest ended.

This Furret seemed strong, but her skills were a little unclean. She may not have fought very hard in a while. Hannah decided it would be best to go easier.

Cinccino leapt forward and slashed at Furret's head. She sidestepped with her eyes fixed on the weapon. She was impressed the Furret seemed to be able to feel the dangerous energy in the horn.

Dad, what do we do?" a voice asked.

"I don't know!" a gruff voice said. "Everyone stay calm! It's still happening inside of her mind."

Cinccino slashed at her head, and Furret ducked under to her side. She barely felt the punch Furret gave.

It was possible the Furret didn't know whether to try and hurt her or not. Hannah spund and kicked the Furret's chest with much less force than she normally would.

Cinccino slashed at her again, but Furret got up in time and hopped back. Furret punched at Cinccino but she caught it.

Cinccino flipped Furret onto the ground with one arm and swung the Keldeo's horn at her with her other. Furret used Iron Tail, but the horn's energy was too strong and went through it.

Hannah winced when the Furret cried in pain. Guilt came to her. She could've done something else. Should have done something else. It wasn't even a fair battle to start with.

"Very slow from not training in a while," Hannah said, "but impressive lasting power against a fully realized Scion. We're impressed."

Lugia landed behind Hannah while the Furret struggled to her feet. The winds and sight didn't seem to have much impact on her emotions. Hannah was impressed with how tame she kept herself.

"This is fine for now," Hannah said, "we'll continue next time. You succeeded."

The people around the fountain had to drag the Furret out from the water as it glowed a distinct gold color. She was panting, and wasn't going to sat conscious for very long with how her energy had weakened.

"I like her."

"Me as well."

"You think mom would have, too?"

"Yes."

"I hope she doesn't get to attached to those princes. Someone owes me a life."
