Throughout the rest of Rizzoli family dinner Maura couldn't stop thinking about how frisky Jane was being, she quite enjoyed it, she was kind of worried it was just the eggnog making Jane act like this. Maura didn't mind the flirting, but she felt not so confident about her body. She didn't like the scars on her thighs, but she thought how silly she was being, Jane would always have those scars on her hands they didn't seem to bother her anymore. Jane was showing signs of wanting to be physical, Maura found it heartwarming that Jane had these thoughts now, why on earth was she so nervous.

"Maura, are you okay?" Frost asked, he was now sitting next to her. Korsak, Frankie and Gwen went to go watch some Sunday Night Football. Jane and Angela started cleaning up things, Maura was too in her thoughts she didn't even notice.

"I-oh yeah, just... having some thoughts," Maura spoke slowly, she didn't want Frost to know what she was thinking of. "I can't talk about it."

Frost nodded, "I understand," he looked around the house making sure no one was listening. "I have a dilemma myself, can I talk to you about it?"

Maura smiled, "Yes of course, anything to get my mind off of things."

"I think I'm attracted to Gwen," Frost said, almost in a whisper, sounding almost afraid to speak it out loud. "That can be a problem considering, you know, both me and Frankie will be working with her. What should I do?"

Maura looked at Frost and frowned, "I um... well I think it'd be easier to talk to Frankie about this. Angela seemed to like her a lot. Frankie is her son though so of course she'd want her son to find love like I have with Jane. Frost, I'm sorry I'm of no help."

Frost shook his head, "No it's fine, you were right, I should talk to Frankie about it. He's the one interested in Gwen, I think. I'm uncertain how he feels to be honest, she's new so can't get too good of a read on the situation yet. I should get more information first."

"I think that's best. So you excited to go back to work tomorrow? I know I miss work."

"Yeah, I'm really excited, let's see how long it can go before BPD has another incident of injured employees," Frost smiled. "I'm going to go watch some football, maybe I'll get a better read on Frankie and Gwen."

"Just, be careful Frost, alright?" Maura looked at him in concern, before he went into the living room. Angela and Jane came out of the kitchen moments later.

"Hey Maur, Ma wants to talk to us about something," Jane told Maura as she sat down next to her, and Angela sat across from them.

"Well girls, I've been doing a lot of thinking these past few days about how exactly to tell you. Jane seeing you willing to help tonight without being asked made me realize that maybe I'm not needed, you know not needed to be around as much as I am. I don't have to worry that you won't be okay. I mean I never had to really worry about you being responsible. And Maura, you're like another daughter to me, we have this relationship that I know is closer than what other families have, you make my Janie so happy, I don't think I've ever seen her this happy. Not even when the Red Sox won the world series in 2004. You remember that Janie, you called me that night drunk and happy, then the next day you were so hungover it's like your mood did a complete 180. Anyways, I'm getting off of topic. I trust that you girls are in good hands with each other, that's why when Vince asked me I said yes," she paused for a moment, knowing she might cry at any given moment. "He asked me to move in with him."

Jane and Maura both look at each other before turning back to Angela. "Ma, I'm so very glad that Korsak has been making you happy. Me and Maura were just discussing this earlier because Frost asked. I know it's going to be tough to leave this place to move but we knew it was only a matter of time. Just well... we weren't expecting it to be this soon," Jane reached over to grab one of Angela's hands. "Ma, you finding happiness makes me excited for you, I know Korsak would never do anything to hurt you. When he talks about you, you can just tell how strongly he feels for you. And to be honest, he's never cooked dinner for or with anyone before, if that's not Korsak love, I don't know what is." Jane smiled, squeezing Angela's hand.

Maura nodded, "I have to agree with Jane. You and I have bonded a lot over the past two years, and I wouldn't change any of it for the world. You were there when others weren't, and well, you're one of the greatest women I know. I'm surely going to miss our morning talks, just spending time together. I know you won't be far but it'll be different, but I'm so glad you're making this step with Korsak. And I do hope you still want to take part in these Sunday dinners," Maura squeezed Angela's other hand. "You're like another mother to me, and well I'm so glad to be part of this family."

Angela smiled, squeezing their hands back. "I love you girls so much."

"We love you too Ma," Jane smiled. "I'm really glad you can finally be happy again, I guess this Christmas season this year I have a lot to be grateful for. You're happy, and I'm in an actual stable relationship for probably the first time in my life."

Angela got up from the table, going over to hug both of the girls, kissing their cheeks. "You girls make me feel like one proud mama."

"Well you have reason to feel like that Angela. You're still going to spend Christmas Day here though, right? It wouldn't be Christmas without you," Maura told her after the hug was done.

"I wouldn't miss it for anything, surprisingly I have that day off from the Dirty Robber. Thanks for the invitation," she smiled at them before turning to Jane. "I already have most of the stuff I'm taking with me packed already. Maybe you and Korsak could put them in his car? I kind of want to spend time with Maura before I leave."

"You're leaving tonight?" Jane asked, Angela could hear the slight bit of sadness in her daughter's voice.

Angela nodded, "That was the plan Jane, are you sure you're okay with that? If not Vince and I could just leave tomorrow morning, I'll let him sleep in the guest house with me tonight. We can all have a nice breakfast before I leave."

Jane and Maura shared a glance before they nodded in silent agreement. "Yeah, we'll be okay with us having breakfast together in the morning. I'm kind of surprised Korsak hasn't been staying in there this whole time instead of inside the house."

"We had a talk about that, he wanted to be in here just in case Maura needed something, I told that man he had nothing to worry about," Angela shrugged.

Jane shook her head, "I'll go help him load up the car now still," Jane went into the living room and stood in front of Korsak. "Come on Korsak, we got boxes to put in your car."

Korsak smirked, "She told you, good," he got off of the couch. "You boys behave," he laughed before him and Jane went to go get Angela's stuff from the guest house. "Are you saddened by your mom moving?"

Jane shook her head, "Not really, I mean not like she's moving to a different state. It'll be nice to have just me and Maura. I do have to ask though, what are your full intentions with my mother?"

"Well Jane, I thought my intentions are pretty clear, I want to live with your mother and spend the rest of my life with her. When we get settled in at my place I kind of have a plan set in place."

"A plan?" Jane asked, and Korsak nodded. He pulled something out from his inner jacket pocket, handing her the small box. "Korsak, you didn't." She opened the box looking at the ring and back up at Korsak. "I didn't realize you were that serious with Ma. And how long have you kept this in your pocket, why is it in your pocket?"

Korsak looked at Jane and explained why, "I've had it in my pocket since a few days ago. When I asked your mom to move in with me and she said yes, well I got a little excited and figured we aren't getting any younger Jane, and well I'm crazy for your mother. I kept it in my pocket to give me sort of a confidence, and hell to kind of chill my nerves."

Jane handed Korsak back the ring. "I honestly don't know what to say, you pick the ring out yourself?" Korsak nodded proudly.

"Surely did, I did a good job right?" he looked at Jane nervously. "She's going to like it, right?"

Jane nodded, "She's going to love it Korsak. When you going to ask her?"

"It's cheesy but I was planning on Christmas Eve, enjoy some wine and cheesecake by the fire, and ask her then. I'm a Goddamned sap."

Jane smiled, patting Korsak on the shoulder, "That you definitely are. I'm quite impressed."

Korsak put the box back in his jacket pocket, "You and Maura ever going to get married?"

Jane shrugged, "Eventually, maybe. I haven't really thought about it, kind of been focusing on the next step of our relationship."

"Aah I see," Korsak chuckled, picking up a box. "I tried to ignore what was going on underneath the table at dinner, at one point Maura was almost as red as the marinara sauce." Jane blushed at his words. "Yeah just like that."

"Korsak don't make me revoke my blessing on your relationship with my mother."

He laughed, "Yeah, you wouldn't. She'll be upset and then she'll be staying here, glaring everytime she looks at you. Maura will then be her favorite person."

"Fuck, fine, I guess I can't revoke my blessing," she finally picked up a box and helped Korsak move Angela's stuff in his car. Thirty minutes had passed, and Korsak locked his car filled with Angela's boxes. "I didn't realize she would have more than two boxes with her," Jane smirked. "Let's hope dessert is ready, all this moving boxes made me hungry."

"Yeah, we both are going to need our energy tonight," Korsak winked and Jane gave him a friendly shove.

"Don't be gross Korsak," Jane laughed as they went back inside. Angela was pulling out the cannolis right when they came in. "Yes, cannoli time."

An hour had passed before there was just Jane and Maura in the house. The girls had a little bit more eggnog with the cannolis, Jane's frisky side came back. Maura felt more confident than she was in her thoughts earlier, they had changed into their pajamas, both were sitting on the bed now. Jane looked at Maura.

"Why did we change into pajamas? We're just going to take them off, right?" Jane asked, resting her hand on Maura's shoulder.

"Can I have a massage Jane? You gave me good ones when I was still healing from the incident. I like your hands on me."

Jane kissed Maura's shoulder, "Oh, don't I know it. Go ahead lay down." Maura moved so she was on her stomach, Jane looked at Maura before moving straddling her slightly. Maura closed her eyes enjoying the feel of Jane's hand massaging her.

Jane started massaging at Maura's shoulders gently, Maura offered a small moan, Jane loved when Maura made those noises when her hands were on her, it gave herself a huge confidence boost. "Jane, you're so good at that."

"Mhm, am I really?" she leaned down to place a kiss on the side of Maura's neck, Maura moved her neck slightly over to the side. Maura already felt a tingle run down her spine and in other places. Jane was pretty much almost sitting on her ass. "You like that Maura, want me to go lower?" she asked against her skin, Maura nodded.

"I want to feel your hands on my bare skin," she managed to get out in words. Jane just smirked, and pushed her shirt upwards, she started moving her hands lower on her back, slowly making sure to loosen Maura up.

A few more minutes of Jane massaging Maura, both girls felt so aroused right now. Jane moved off of Maura before the girl rolled over so she was facing Jane. Both of the girls cheeks flushed. Maura moved to take off her shirt, Jane bit her bottom lip, "God you're gorgeous," Jane smiled, and Maura smiled, moving to take off Jane's shirt as well.

Maura sat up and looked at Jane, "You're the gorgeous one," she smiled. "I feel so exposed, but so aroused." Maura moved to plant a kiss on Jane's mouth, her hands going to rest at Jane's breasts, Jane gasped, feeling Maura's thumbs run slowly over her nipples.

"Shit," Jane pressed Maura down against the mattress, kissing down her body, inch by inch until she got to Maura's wiast. Her hands resting on Maura's bottoms. She looked at Maura with loving eyes. "May I?" she asked, almost too softly to hear. Maura nodded and Jane slid off Maura's shorts and underwear, she felt a tingle in between her legs. "Holy shit Maur," Jane looked up at Maura who looked almost shy, Jane didn't think she would ever see Maura like that. "You're the most beautiful person I've ever seen," she leaned down, to place gentle kisses on the scars left on her thighs.

Maura observed Jane and she felt her eyes water up, Jane took notice when Maura sucked in her breath. "Hey Maura, are you okay?"

Maura nodded, sitting up, wiping her cheeks, "I just- I've never felt so loved before Jane, my whole life I just felt like an outcast, like I had no place I truly belonged. I never felt more wanted than I do right now... You really think I'm that beautiful?" she asked, tears still falling.

Jane moved to wipe the falling tears from Maura's cheeks, "Of course I do Maura, you really are the most beautiful person I know and will ever know, nobody can take that away from you. I love you Maura, I love you so much, okay? Never doubt that for a minute, okay?" she wrapped an arm around Maura's, the blonde rested her head on Jane's shoulder. "It's going to be okay Maura," she rubbed her girlfriend's back.

"I-I'm sorry if-f I ruined the moment," Maura looked at Jane, feeling guilty.

"No, hey Maura," Jane rested her hand on Maura's cheek. "You have no reason to apologize Maur, you hear me? No reason at all. I can tell that this is overwhelming. We don't have to if you don't want to, okay?" She spoke softly, and Maura nodded. She pulled up her panties and shorts, going to reach for her shirt. Jane helped Maura put it on before going to put her own shirt back on.

Jane laid down with Maura, Jane's hand gently stroking her cheek. "Jane..." Maura whispered, and Jane looked at her with a warm smile.

"What is it sweetheart?"

"I love you, and I just, God I feel dumb for crying. I didn't think it would happen, I thought I was so ready to have sex with you, but I guess my emotions thought otherwise. Just-just promise that you won't abandon me," Maura looked at Jane with watery eyes.

Jane leaned over to press a kiss against Maura's lips. "I swear Maura Isles, I'm not going anywhere. You got me for life, okay? I'm never leaving you, it's me and you until the end of time."

Maura smiled warmly, yet sadly at the same time. "I'm so lucky to have you with me, I'm not going to abandon you Jane Rizzoli, you hear me, you got me for life," she took Jane's hand letting it rest over her heart. "My heart only beats for you now, my heart is yours Jane, will you take care of my heart?"

Jane felt her own eyes start to water, "Of course Maura, we are one," she smiled at Maura, just taking in this moment. "We got each other Maur, and that's how it's going to be for the rest of our lives."

Maura leaned over to kiss Jane's cheek, wiping her cheeks from tears, "Thank you Jane, for everything."

Jane looked into Maura's eyes, feeling warmth, comfort and love just looking into them. "You're welcome. Thank you for being you, I wouldn't change you or us for anything in this world. We make a great team," Jane moved for a moment to turn off the light. Jane placed a kiss on Maura's forehead. "Good night, my beautiful angel."

Maura released a small yawn, moving as close as she could to Jane, "Good night, my beautiful soul."
