Now that I have the Season Two premiere done, I'm ready to answer any questions that my reviewers sent.
From marvelouslymiraculous
Raven: What was it like on Azarath?
Raven: It was once a paradise. Blue-green skies and crimson clouds. Streets paved in solid marble and buildings accented with columns of pure gold. It was a world of peace and prosperity. I was raised within the Temple of Azarath, a place of prayer. Within the Temple was a Great Door, which was a giant portal to the nether-realms. The spiritual leader of Azarath was a woman named Azar, who was also responsible for my education and training. She was almost a goddess. The Azarathians were kind, welcoming me and my mother with open arms. They protected us and gave us a new life, one we could not have on Earth because of the power that I possessed. Though very different from Jump City and Titans Tower, it was my home.
Robin: Did you ever try to spin that giant penny in the batcave? And do you have plans to kill everyone on the team should they turn to the dark side like Batman?
Robin: No and I'm not sure I understand the second question. I would never kill any of my teammates. I do have ways of neutralizing them if they get brainwashed or something if that's what you're asking. It's good to always be prepared.
Beast Boy: What was Chief like?
Beast Boy: I thought he was a good man, somebody who wanted to help people like me, Rita, Cliff, and Larry. I used to really admire him. Chief was brilliant, seemingly kind, and dedicated to making the world a better place. He gave us a purpose and made us believe that we could use our powers to help people. We became heroes under his leadership and guidance. But we had no idea that he was behind all the accidents that turned us into… his Doom Patrol. He used us. I think he still wanted to make a better world, but didn't mind mutilating innocent people against their will in the pursuit of those goals. I'm honestly not sure if I ever knew what Chief was really like because of all the secrets he kept from us.
Starfire: Did you have any other siblings besides Blackfire?
Starfire: I had a younger brother, but I did not know him well. His name is Ryand'r, which means Wildfire. Before the deaths of my parents, they secretly sent Ryand'r away to an unknown part of space in order to protect him from the Citadel during their invasion of Tamaran. I was so young that I can hardly remember Ryand'r. I don't even know if he is still alive or if he was killed by the Citadel like they killed my parents. Blackfire is the only family from Tamaran that I might have left, though I also hold onto the hope that my former k'norfka Galfore is still alive as well. It has unfortunately been so long since I have seen Tamaran…
Cyborg: We all know about the T-car, but what other things have you been tinkering with?
Cyborg: Not really anything right now. It's not like I'm done with the T-Car, since it requires regular maintenance. I keep working on it whenever I have the free time and Raven sometimes helps.
Wonder Girl: How do you feel about being leader of the Teen Titans?
Wonder Girl: It's going to take some getting used to. I already had some leadership experience whenever Robin was absent, but that was always temporary and Robin was still the official leader of the Titans when he was gone. This isn't temporary and I was definitely surprised when Robin announced that he was stepping down as leader. I'm not mad, since I do think that this could be good for him. But I just hope that I don't let everyone down. To be honest, I'm nervous. I love my friends and I want to be the leader that they deserve. I know Robin has faith in me, which is why he gave his position to me in the first place. And I appreciate that. So even though I am a bit nervous, I am even more determined to prove that he made the right choice and that my team can depend on me.

Will the honorary titans be more fleshed out like hot spot, wildebeest, pantha, argent, herald, Bushido, Jericho, kilowatt and more.
Jericho will definitely be fleshed out more, since he is Slade's son. You can actually expect him to make his first appearance later in Season Two. As for the others, it will depend. Their introductions are still a few seasons away. If I can think of anything to do with them, I will.
And will the wildebeest society appear and will pantha go back to being a werecat and similar to comics where she was an experiment for the wildebeest society who was hostile towards everyone and thought of ways to kill baby wildebeest. i think it should go like this, when pantha is acting like a jerk again it is beast boy who finally tells her off on how she is acting and begins to become more kinder towards others and baby wildebeest.
No. Sorry, but I'm not a fan of the Wildebeest Society or the Titans Hunt storyline that they appear in. While Pantha and Baby Wildebeest will appear, the Wildebeest Society will not.
And will heroes who didn't appear in the cartoon appear hear. Like hawk, dove, Lilith, risk, prysm, fringe, anima, golden eagle, power boy, bombshell, protector, Jesse quick, and more. Oh and I think power boy will be like the guy Gardner of the group a loud mouth arrogant jerk who secretly has a heart of gold.
The cast of New Titans is already very large. Hawk and Dove may appear. And I will try to have Lilith appear at some point, because I honestly think that she may be the most underrated member of the Titans. Despite being a member since the 70s, she hasn't appeared in any adaptations and was unfortunately killed off in Graduation Day. As for the others… no promises. A lot of the heroes you listed are ones that I'm either not as familiar with or are just not as interesting as characters that I want to use more. And I have no plans for Power Boy.

His rejection of Terra in "Betrayal" was in my opinion because of anger of her betrayal, his hurt feelings and his surprise of what she did so he wanted to hurt her back. I also don't understand why the others didn't talk about what Beast Boy did. Quiet possible that they didn't know because BB didn't told them about everything what happened? What he means with "She always had a choice" that she did have the choice to leave Slade before (she didn't try because she only found out in "Aftershock" that her suit was bound to her) and still had the choice to become good, she stayed with Slade because of fear of herselve (her powers / what she did) and of Slade. I think he didn't mention his own fault (drove her partly into Slade's arms in "Betrayal") because he was to ashamed of it.
Even if he was ashamed of his own faults, that's not really a good excuse. It's still poor storytelling that Beast Boy never acknowledged that his cold rejection drove Terra completely into Slade's arms. He completely put the blame on Terra in the finale, never taking responsibility for what he did as well. During "Aftershock" he acted like he was completely guiltless and even told Terra that he was her friend despite telling her that she had no friends in "Betrayal." It would have been fine if he did realize that he was wrong between episodes, but we don't see that. It should have been brought up in the actual episode.
His unsymphatic behaviour in the episode "The Beast Within" is in my view a result of the contact with the chemicals which created the Beast and Adonis Beast. The (newly created, or was he / it there before?) Beast is a combination of all instincts of Beast Boy (every animal) so the Beast has in combination with the chemicals (made him / it angry / wild?) some serrious impact on Beast Boy's behaviour (Garfield doesn't trust the Beast and the two are in constant fight in his mind, that's why he gets so easily angry) and he has to learn to accept tha the Beast is a part of him.
Here's the problem… all of that is your view. It's never actually explained in the episode, which makes what's happening confusing. The episode is just really poorly written. And even if Beast Boy was acting differently because of chemicals (which is vague like everything else in "The Beast Within"), he should have still apologized. He did apologize to Raven, but just to her. He was especially rude to Starfire, yet she got no apology.
His incompetent behaviour in episode "Titans Together" isn't so incompetent for me, just risky. He leads a group pf completly lost characters against a gigantic evil group (Brotherhood of Evil), who they fight against and distract long enough that the others could finally arrive. Beast Boy knew that there must have been other heroes who escaped because there weren't much heroes frozen and he knew that others could have tricked their opponents into believing that they had been defeated and died.
Um, no. Beast Boy didn't know that others would be arriving. That was never said or shown in the episode. What is shown that Beast Boy assumes that he and his rag-tag group of Titans are all that is left. So they sneak into the Brotherhood of Evil's base with no plan and when their cover gets blown, they get overwhelmed by the Brotherhood. He had no reason to believe that help was coming or that he was "distracting" the Brotherhood. And he didn't know if the others had tricked their opponents. As far as he knew, they could actually be dead. How would he know that the others would arrive soon? Answer: he didn't. Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire's groups actually coordinated with each other. They didn't just go into the base where they are heavily outnumbered and outgunned without a plan. Based on what the show actually shows and tells us, Beast Boy's plan was incredibly incompetent and ultimately achieved nothing.
His childish behaviour is also because he did have a very crazy childhood (Sakutia, parents died, kidnapping from Africca and working for thieves, Uncle who tried dozens times to murder him and Mento who constantly criticised him) so it shouldn't be surprising that he tries to relive his childhood with pranks and irresponsible actions. He also possibly hides his trauma and his sadness behind making jokes and sometimes acting crazy. He is also very young (14 years old) so it shouldn't be surprising that he is rebellious and irresponsible.
A lot of his "crazy childhood" was in the comics. Not in the animated series. According to a tie-in to the animated series, he wasn't kidnapped by thieves or abused by Galtry. His age was also never given in the animated series either, though in New Titans he's said to be thirteen. You keep using your own non-canon assumptions as points, while I'm using what the show tells and shows us. It still bothers me that Beast Boy doesn't really develop in the animated series. Even during the season that focused on him, the conclusion of that arc had him incompetently leading Titans to the Brotherhood of Evil's base where he almost gets them all captured. What was supposed to be his arc? It was the other Titans that saved the day, not him. And despite what happened with Terra, most of the time it doesn't seem to affect Beast Boy at all unless it's relevant to the plot. Overall, I just don't think his character was handled strongly.
Why doesn't Gar go to school? He has the right age (14 years) so shouldn't he be in school like Raven and Starfire? Is it because of his skin colour? Or did the Doom Patrol teach him so much that he has high enough diplomas that he doesn't need to go to school anymore?
As I already mentioned, Beast Boy is thirteen. As for why he doesn't go to school, a big reason for that is because he's green. But he's also just not that interested in school. He never really had a formal education. The best he's gotten is home schooling from his parents and the Doom Patrol. Beast Boy is honestly so used to being an outsider like the rest of the Doom Patrol that he can't really handle being in a large class. He's socially awkward and insecure, which was shown when he decided he couldn't meet up in real life with the girl he was talking to online. Notice that Beast Boy doesn't hang out with anyone outside of the Titans.
Starfire was often the "damsel in distress", so it's good to see her getting stronger and not being so helpless. But when she uses alien words, aren't that words which don't have a good translation into english and so english words wouldn't have the same meaning as that what she really wants to say? Also, isn't it a way to remind her of home (like her cooking)?
That's not what they were used for in the animated series. They were used for comedy because they sounded silly. And it became part of her character's exaggeration in TTG along with her broken English. Starfire also uses Earth recipes in New Titans, because there really isn't a way she can get alien ingredients to use Tamaranean recipes. She is getting better at cooking though, thanks to Beast Boy's help.
Will Beast Boy get more in touch with his animal side / his instincts after he learns to accept / trust the Beast? Will Beast Boy find out about his connection to the Red? Will he enlarge his powers (like turning into aliens, into mythological beings (dragons, kitsune, yokai, ...), into other humans (Joker, Killer Croc?), partly transformations (growing gills), ...)? Can BB see magic auras (cats can see magic, ...) and ghosts / spirits (dogs can see them, cats too, ...)?
You really like Beast Boy, do you? The answer to most of those is no. He can't see magic auras or ghosts. He can't turn into other humans or partly transform. And the Red will probably not be brought up in New Titans. He can turn into aliens and mythological creatures like dragons. And he may get more in touch with his animalistic side as he matures.
Will we find out more about the past of Beast Boy and Starfire?
All characters will have their personal histories expanded on in the future, including Beast Boy and Starfire.
Could the team meet king Tawaba, Jillian Jackson, Matthew Logan, Nicholas Galtry, Samuel Register, ...?
Tawaba, Galtry, and Register are not part of Beast Boy's backstory in New Titans. Beast Boy already told Raven his backstory in an earlier episode, where he revealed that the Chief had purposely infected the monkey which bit him. Jillian is actually the girl that Beast Boy has been talking to online and I do plan to have Matt Logan show up at some point.
Will Garfield Logan and Bette Kane become good friends?
Yes. I already mentioned my love for Geoff John's Beast Boy mini-series, so expect some inspiration to be taken from that. Including Matt Logan and Beast Boy's forgotten friendship with Bette from the comics.
When the team visits other places on earth, will they meet mythological beings there (like Grootslang in South Africa, dragons in China, unicorns in Middle-Europe, ...)? Would the team visit some planets in different galaxies during different missions and meet other aliens?
I know you're asking this because you want Beast Boy to turn into these mythological beings and aliens. There won't be any mythological beings because they're unnecessary. New Titans already has Atlanteans, Amazons, and aliens. And of course the Titans will visit other planets, because they did in the original animated series.
Can Starfire later find her brother Wildfire?
Perhaps. I honestly haven't thought too much about Wildlife, especially since I find Blackfire more interesting and I might just want to focus on the relationship between the two sisters. But I am keeping the doors open for Wildfire to appear eventually.
Will Raven find out that she has siblings?
She doesn't. Not in New Titans.
Can Cyborg help people against racism?
Race isn't the focus of the character. I already have a lot of plans for what I want to do with Cyborg. If racism is brought up, ALL the Titans will help against it. Not just Cyborg because he's black. And don't forget, there was already an episode of the animated series that dealt with racism.
Will the team visit Themyscira (Beast Boy could turn into a girl)?
Themyscira may definitely be visited in the future. As for Beast Boy turning into a girl… no! Just no!
Will the team travel to the past or the future?
You do remember that "Cyborg the Barbarian" was an episode, right? However, I don't want to abuse time travel either so it won't come up too much in New Titans.
How can Beast Boy "meet" the Werebeast before the accident with the chemicals and Adonis? Does that mean that the Werebeast was in Beast Boy's body the whole time and just got angry enough to act because of the chemicals and Adonis? Is it a forewarning / sort-of-vision (?) of his Beast / instincts / body that something bad will happen to Beast Boy / the Werebeast?
I have very different plans for "The Beast Within." I thought the chemicals were too vague and that the original episode didn't explain anything. Beast Boy's Werebeast form won't be the result of an accident with chemicals in New Titans. I also felt like the animated series didn't really do anything with the new form, since it only appeared in one other episode afterward. I don't want to give away too much, but Beast Boy's Fear Toxin hallucination is foreshadowing. "The Beast Within" will be built up to, will have more of an impact on the story, and will actually make sense. Here's a hint: it has something to do with him being thirteen at the start of the story.
And that's all the questions I got so far. The Q&A is still open, so if you have any follow-up questions or other stuff that you're wondering about just let me know and I'm happy to answer. I'll also try to get the next episode ("Every Dog Has His Day") out soon.
