DekUravity-Chapter XVIII:
Love with Might 2-the Emerald Ella:
Throughout the three years that Toshinori Yagi attended high school at U.A. There was a female student that caught his eye...her name was Hisuie Madarame. She was a fairly popular student amongst both the males and females, especially the former lot. She was a member of her class' student council and she tried her hardest at whatever was thrown at her in order to accomplish her goals of succeeding with high marking grades. She displayed an attitude of never giving up and never backing down from a challenge...it was also mentioned that she had quite a cheeky personality when around her friends.
Because of her earnest nature and determination...she was quickly elected to become student council president by only a single year's time with her classmates. She shared a classroom with Toshinori...have gazed at her from afar. People started calling Hisuie the "Emerald Ella", due to how she seemed to have worked her way through the ranks from poverty and into the spotlight...just like the old fairy tale more or less that she was nicknamed after. But...Hisuie had her fair share of troubles, to be sure. She had earned the scorn of jealous peers both male and female alike, wanting to see her downfall from grace as it were...
Toshinori was the only one whom realised the truth about a following incident that occurred...Hisuie was set up by the jealous students by showing both the teachers and other fellow students that she doctored her exam answers before the actual exams even began a day after. In truth, she was lured to a faculty office by a group of the jealous students, wanting to "discuss" something with her. They left her there all by herself, saying that they had some "business" to take care of before they would talk with her. Hisuie because of her unassuming nature did not even try to doubt the intentions of her peers, having wholeheartedly believing their intentions to have been good...
Toshinori had saw both the group of jealous students and Hisuie enter the faculty office earlier whilst just passing by. As soon as the group entered the office with Hisuie, they immediately left afterwards without Hisuie...Toshinori had seen everything that occurred outside the office. However, he ultimately decided to pay it no mind...believing that Hisuie had everything under control and just like her, Toshinori didn't even dare to try and doubt the intentions of the jealous students...that again ultimately sealed Hisuie's fate at U.A.
Because of the scandal involving Hisuie to be a top ranked student that supposedly cheated her towards the top...her reputation was ruined with the students that actually liked her. Her friends felt betrayed and believed that her honest nature was just a front with them in order for Hisuie to become popular. Both Hisuie...and Toshinori were exposed to one face of Villainy...the face of jealously...rearing it's ugly head. To ensure that Hisui would not spend her remaining years in infamy at U.A. after learning that people started calling her the "Emerald Cinder" instead of Ella whom crashed and burned, as it were...
She was to transfer schools and study abroad, where hopefully...she could find a new future elsewhere. Toshinori felt disgusted with himself...he could have saved Hisuie if he was able to inform her of the jealous students' intentions...if he only possessed a little more doubt in the Character of others...she could have been saved. Toshinori marked this experience within his heart...to never forget the injustice that unfortunately befell Hisuie. His high school crush...one could say...because of that certain incident...one of Toshinori's reasons were formed towards becoming All Might.
Now...in the present...Toshinori was able to reunite with Hisuie. Evidently, she travelled abroad to live in the USA. Throughout the years they studied together in the same class during the time at U.A. did the two never once interact with each other. Hisuie only knew the name and appearance of Toshinori through their class' school register but never once decided to converse with him. Having a good memory though...she was able to instantly recognise her former classmate. Up close...Hisuie herself resembles a young Inko Midoriya that All Might would meet decades later but with a few key differences. Namely one was that Hisuie had bright green coloured hair in comparison to Inko's more darker shade of green...
Toshinori struggles to both begin and maintain a conversation with Hisuie...however Hisuie has no trouble whatsoever talking with Toshinori himself. She asks how he has been and what was he doing nowadays, why was he here in America? Hisuie seems to have not been dejected by what happened to her at U.A. At least, that's what Toshinori thinks is the case supposedly. Hisuie with a cheerful expression informs Toshinori that she was now a college student trying to learn the ways of entering the fashion industry and making her very own designer clothing. It was then at that moment Toshinori quickly realised something...Hisuie...had given up on the dream of becoming a Hero.
Because U.A. was mainly a Hero based academy and not just a regular high school, he assumed Hisuie attended there because like him and everyone else attending...she had both hopes and dreams of making it as a Pro Hero. However...her goals were crushed instantly, no matter how much and how long she had worked towards them in order to succeed. Others made sure of her downfall and thus...Hisuie was exposed to Villainy, apparently for the very 1st time in her entire life. How could she want to become a Hero alongside other people...that betrayed her?
Even though she moved abroad and started a new life of learning here in the US. The seeds of mistrust were unfortunately embedded into her heart...fearing that if she tried studying as a Hero again...more and even more so people would just have it out for her. Thus...she gave up her dream of being a Hero and went towards another dream of hers instead, one where trust wasn't necessarily an issue within it's department. Toshinori was wrong...Hisuie was truly scarred by what happened to her. She had lost...belief in the trust of others...
After talking with Hisuie for a while and managing to figure all of this out merely from talking with her...Toshinori recalls the conversation that he once had with his mentor Shimura. About the reasons WHY he wants to become a true Hero. Asides wanting to become the Symbol of Peace...there was...another reason. Toshinori failed to confess the feelings that he had towards a classmate of his and it was already too late by the time he failed her in the moment when he could have saved her. Reminded of her deceased lover...Shimura knew that kind of feeling all too well.
She took it upon herself to train the rising All Might to hopefully help learn how to become a better Hero...that could save others. Not just from Villainy...but from all kinds of issues. Jealously and such...after all...a Hero "loves" to mettle in the affairs of others...do they not? although Shimura was slightly joking. Toshinori was able to recognise the serious, secret half of that joke...to become better as both a Hero AND as a man. Since then, he had trained to become the future Hero All Might that he is now. Not wanting to fail his high school crush again, now that she was right in front of his very eyes...
Toshinori took hold of Hisuie's hand before she nearly entered the apartment complex. Toshinori bashfully wondered whilst nervously scratching his cheek over and over...would Hisuie like to hang out sometime? she was surprised to hear this invitation. All Might was acting like the high school boy he used to be a few years ago in front of the girl that he was planning to confess his feelings for. Although there is silence for a minute or two...Hisuie replies in a happy manner that she wouldn't mind hanging out with Might, so long as they wouldn't make plans on the days that Hisuie had to attend her college.
Extremely jovious on the inside but trying to maintain professionalism on the outside, Might coughs and says that he would be honoured to escort Hisuie wherever she would like to hang out with him at. Be it a trip to the beach or bowling, anything that Hisuie desired...Toshinori was willing to commit himself towards. Hisuie with a smile then asks if Toshinori would be willing to hang out with her tomorrow...having something in mind that the two of them could be doing. Toshinori exclaims a loud yes before regaining composure saying yes again but this time not so loudly.
Hisuie then agrees to meet with Might tomorrow and discuss the details at 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Warning Might not to be late...or there will be consequences to pay. Might nearly becomes scared of pondering what consequences Hisuie mentions...as she had already taken her leave back to her apartment. Despite how this all ended...All Might was ecstatic at the idea of hanging out with his high school crush but then realises and wonders how is he going to explain his new plans to David? lastly...Might fails to realise that he scratched his cheek so hard and consecutively that the scratches themselves look like ones made by a cat. Guess that's superhuman endurance for someone...or just a fool madly in love that he becomes oblivious to all senses and kinds of pain.
The night begins, the night continues and the night ends...it was the dawn of a new day. What was All Might's plan? would he hang out with David and bash some Villainous heads like normal? or...would he choose to be with Hisui and spend time doing whatever with her? these were serious questions...that appeared and went through Might's mind at the time of awakening at 9:00 AM. It was nearly time to meet with Hisui and Might didn't have the chance to think things though properly. In the end...he impulsively decides to join Hisuie on what he considered to be a date between them. Even if Hisuie herself didn't see as such...Might was just happy all the same...to be around and talk with her.
However...waiting outside Jami's Bugle...is seen David. Leaning by his car and waiting for All Might to get out of bed already...how would things go between the two friends starting from this point following?
