Hello there, my goodies. The LTBC is back with the next chapter finally. I wanted to update this new chapter in the beggining of the summer, but as you all know the writer's block is a state which can attack anyone who at least know how to connect three sentences. Now imagine writing a huge chapter with almost 19 000 words.
This isn't the largest chapter in LTBC history... and I guess 15-20 thousand words is a basic standard for my stories... Though, you probably know it.
Anyways, I am giving it for your judgement. Please write a review and tell me what you think. Don't forget to fave and follow if you enjoy my stories. It motivates me a lot to continue on what I am doing. LTBC is still has a long way before its end. Enjoy!
Chapter #24 - When the Dreams and Days Unite.
-/-/-/-/-/-
In the Ancient Sister's Castle.
Tails and Fluttershy found themselves in the main hall of the castle, with their flashlights on, they viewed every corner of it. They saw old stoney stairs leading up to the royal chambers, and other stairs that led down. In fact the castle had many ways to go, as it has the corridors here and there. The fox guy then viewed the ceiling to see it covered in numerous cracks, and some small rocks are falling. When he turned to the left, he saw the broken stained glass windows out of which the wind was blowing. He then sighed.
"Alright." He began, making Fluttershy look at him; "Where should we start?"
Fluttershy then bit her lower lip again; "Ummm… I don't know." She said as she scanned the huge main hall once again; "I don't even remember the layout of this place to be honest, I was too busy rushing through this place to find Angel, I didn't really pay attention to memorize the interior." Fluttershy said timidly.
"I still don't get why you freaked out so much, Fluttershy." Miles said as he then looked at her; "It's just a very old building, nothing more. Moreover, since you've been here before and got out of this place alive, and well, then… what is going to happen to you now?"
Fluttershy looked at him with a nervous grin on her face; "Well… there are numerous back doors here and there, which makes it like a labyrinth. And… and… what if the robots are hiding somewhere here?" She asked as she looked at him with regret. Tails wanted to protest this, but he then understood that she has the point here. He then scratched the back of his head, and looked at the floor.
"Ummm… I didn't think about it…" He said, shocked at himself that he did not foresee it. But then he narrowed his eyes and began eyeing the corridors, trying to guess where the electromagnetic source can be hiding.
"But we're still here, anyways, so…" He commented; "Let's take a look…" He then scanned the room once again to see where they should start. He saw the ladders which lead to the lower floors and chambers, perhaps, used by the attendants, and the guards. When he glanced on his left, he saw another ladder which goes up in a spiral fashion around a massive and wide column. The column is all webbed by cracks, but stood still and seemed steady. The ladder looked fine, too. No cracks, no failures in the steps.
As much as he thought that they should check on the lower floors, and underground chambers, he didn't really want to do that. Being inside of this very old and massive structure which is overfilled with something unknown already gave him a lot of creeps. He then looked at Fluttershy, and nodded towards the ladder that goes up.
The pony girl nodded to him, while feeling a slight relief, as this means that they're not going to check on every single corner of this castle, especially its underground rooms.
The two then headed towards the tower's ladder, and slowly proceeded their way up. Fluttershy decided to walk on her two, and all the time, she was walking behind her fox companion as she held him tightly by the arm.
A few minutes later.
The two reached the top of the tower, and now they found themselves in a pretty narrow corridor which ends on the right, but goes on to the left. The corridor had a few rooms, two of which were on the left wall, while the other three were on the right wall. The narrowness of the corridor kinda surprised Tails, as he expected it to be gigantic compared to his height. He grew into a very tall mobian in his current age of 27 years, but he was still lower than both Equestrian Royal Princesses. He compared his height with Princess Cadence, but not with the goddesses of Sun and Moon.
When the two were in the middle of a corridor, Miles reached his hand up and touched the ceiling with his fingertips, as he then arched his eyebrows in question.
"Hmmm… I guess the Princesses' horns did not feel comfortable in this wing of the castle, huh?" He asked himself rhetorically. Fluttershy rolled her eyes at his sarcasm, but soon she began observing the rooms at the right wall. She saw one of the doors was opened ajar, and bright light broke through it. She hid behind the fox's shoulders, and shook him lightly.
"Miles…" She whispered, to which he looked at her, and saw her nodding towards the door. He saw the light, and pulled out his gun.
"What the…" He said as the two then slowly approached the door; "Ummm… Excuse me?" He called out, to which Fluttershy gasped in fear.
"What are you doing?" She asked, a fearful whisper in her voice; "What if it's one of these… r-r-robots?"
Miles looked at her calmly; "Fluttershy, these robots have no yellow light floodlights." He whispered back, as the two continued their way towards the door; "Hey, we mean no harm. We got lost, and we need the place to stay for a night." He called out again.
They heard no response from there. If someone was there, they saw them, and prepared for their arrival. Though, if that was the case, they'd met our duo in the main foyer.
When they were near the door, Miles signalled to Fluttershy to pull out her gun, as she then went on the other side of the doorknob, and nuzzled her back against the wall. She then looked at Tails and nodded at him as a sign that she's ready. The fox-guy nodded back at her, and used his medical walking cane to open the door. But when he looked inside, he widened his eyes in a complete shock, and signaled his female companion to lower her gun. Fluttershy did what he signaled her to do, though, pretty reluctant, even though she saw that he was no longer tense.
Inside the room, Miles saw a crystal orb laying on the floor. It gives pretty bright yellow light, and it lights the room very well. Miles slowly entered the room, as slowly approached a mysterious orb, and picked it up. He looked inside of the orb. Fluttershy stood behind him, a very curious look on her face.
"Whoa…" She moaned in curiosity, to which Miles silently nodded.
"Yeah, more than anything I could say." He commented as he and Fluttershy then sat on a big piece of rock. The fox-guy examiled the orb, not knowing what to do with it, and what it is exactly. And how it appeared here? He then looked at Fluttershy.
"Do you know what this is?" He asked.
"I'm not sure, but…" The pony girl began; "... it looks like an Orb of Memories."
Tails widened his eyes; "Orb of Memories?" He asked, to which Fluttershy nodded.
"Yes. Twilight demonstrated one of these a few years ago." The girl replied, as she adjusted her hair by her left hand; "She said it helps magicians to re-watch any memories they want."
Miles hmm'd; "Hmmmm." He said as he then looked at the orb again; "Orb of Memories you say… huh?" He then pulled out his radar, and turned it on. He saw that the screen was going crazy with its static noise. He then sighed.
"I guess this thing is the reason for such a strong electromagnetic anomaly we were looking for?" He said curiously, as he looked at the orb again; "I wanted to ask why the robots never reacted to this light, but now it seems obvious why they never paid any attention despite opened windows in this room."
Suddenly the orb lights intensified, which made both of the travelers curious, and soon it flashed with the brightest flash of light. Then it's lights transformed into the images of living beings inside of it. Fluttershy and Miles saw the image of a very well known Night Princess, dressed in the leather jacket, pink top under it, as she stood with her arms crossed in the chest, and her face was having an angry frown.
Behind the Princess' back stood another person, and it was the Ultimate Lifeform himself, Shadow the Hedgehog, dressed in a white tux suit, and black t-shirt, and he looked even more angry as he was shooting a death glare towards Princess Luna. Fluttershy widened her eyes.
"Who is that behind Princess Luna?" She asked, a worrying tone in her voice; "Is he going to hurt her?"
"It's Shadow the Hedgehog, Flutterrshy." Tails answered; "And I don't think he's going to bring any harm to your Princess, though… I'm not sure."
"What else do you want from me?" They heard Shadow's angry voice booming outside of the orb, and their faces became even more curious as they silently stared at what was happening in the orb. They saw Shadow was still staring at Luna, who did not even turn to him, as she continued on frowning.
"I am not your lap dog that will do whatever your Royal Highness wants to!" Shadow shouted angrily at Luna, to which the Night Princess turned to face him, and pointed a finger at him.
"Do not raise your tone at me, Shadow the Hedgehog!" She yelled at him; "You're not in a position to be allowed to do so! How could you? After all we went through!?"
Shadow went on to close the gap between the two of them and when he did there were only a few inches between their faces.
"What kind of hornet stung you by speaking such nonsense!?" He snarled through the gritted teeth; "We are just partners! Co-workers! That's all we are to each other!"
Luna suddenly shed some tears upon hearing that, as she then pulled out the photographs, and showed it to him; "Then how can you explain this to me this!?" She asked, some trembles in her voice; "And this? And many more shots taken by the photographs around the world?" She then scattered the pictures around the room and turned away from him, as she approached the window, leaving the dark mobian standing in the middle of the room as he catched a few pictures, and looked at it.
He then sighed and shook his head in a mild-confusion, and looked at his woman again as he then put his hands on his own waist, and smirked.
"There's definitely something's wrong with you if you think that this photo means at least something." He commented, to which Luna gasped and looked at him over her left shoulder, and saw him giving her an arrogant smirk, which is easy to guess; "I'm guessing, you were just overblown by our work."
Luna glared as she then turned to face him and charged her horn; "So you're saying that having caught red-handed while cheating on me with not only this… Acorn lady, but with… thousands more women in this world!?" She growled at him, and pointed at the pictures; "Who are they?" She asked, demanding an answer.
Shadow humphed, as he threw the pictures away, and put his hands on Luna's shoulder; "Just random chicks from here and there… One night's antidepressants." He spoke, a reassuring tone in his voice; "They did not even love me…"
Luna gave him a look of despair; "How can you speak about it so calmly, Shadow?" She asked, a moment before Shadow pulled her into a warm embrace, to which she did not resist at first, but was a bit confused. The Ultimate Lifeform, though, continued smiling.
"Lulu, you're just too stressed, trust me." He tried to soothe her; "Let's go back home, you'll take some sleep, and then I'll explain everything to you."
Luna shut her eyes tightly, as she bared her teeth. She pushed him away, and turned her back to him, as she angrily approached the window. Shadow was kinda puzzled by her negative reaction, but soon he ceased to hold back his anger and sent an angry glare towards her.
"Did I say something wrong?" He asked, and though his voice still sounded calm, it still voiced his absolute displeasure, and the Princess of the Moon perfectly heard how he voiced his anger. She sniffed the air deeply and still had teary eyes as the drops poured down across her cheeks, but she never showed her face to him.
"Shadow, now it makes me think that you are trying to avoid any responsibility." She said, a cold tone in her voice. The mobian lost it there.
"Responsibility!?" He shouted; "Responsibility!? You're the one to teach me about responsibility!?" He then approached her and stood at her right, still glaring at her; "Luna, these photos sent to you were taken long before we even met!" Luna looked angrilly at him; "How can you be so dumb to belive in such a frank lie!?" Shadow growled at her one last time. Luna turned completely at him and pointed threateningly a finger at him.
"Say that again! I dare you!" She threatened him; "I fucking dare you!" Luna spat at him in a seethingly venomous tone as she glared at him. Clearly too angry to be reasoned with in the current state she was in.
Shadow pulled her hand down gently; "I'll say! You can't be so fucking dumb to believe in such a lie!" He rephrased his own quote as his voice sounded coldly, and darkly; "Where did this whole blind jealousy come from!? You seriously think that I am going to cheat on a woman so beautiful such as you!?" After he said that, he turned away and approached the exit door; "If you brought me here to discuss this lie, and you naturally believe it, then I don't think I should stay here." He commented.
Luna became even more angry, and the angermeter nearly reached for its maximum level. She pointed a finger after him, as she then shouted in her Royal Canterlot Voice.
"STOP!" She shouted as the items in the room fell off their places thrown by the sound wave. Hell, even Tails, and Fluttershy cringed in slight fear by only watching it from the orb, and not being particulated to this exact memory. The voice was so powerful that Shadow felt the touch of the soundwave, and stopped dead. He did not turn to face her and continued showing her his strong back. His face still had this dark frown.
"You were not allowed to leave, Shadow the Hedgehog!" Luna said, still in her Royal Voice. Shadow looked at her over his left shoulder.
"I am only obeying to the Queen of Mobius!" He said in an instantly dark tone, as he then turned to face her; "You are not my Queen to be giving me orders!" He yelled not wanting to give Luna the satisfaction of being oppressed by Luna's entitlement as a royal. As he was too proud for that, to be subjugated to be her cowering whimpering dog, knowing if he gave her an inch on this…. she would take a mile.
That was the last straw for Luna, as she then charged her horn with a powerful spell. She went surrounded by a dark blue aura, and her eyes painted in bright white. The room is filled by a strong gust of wind, which circled around them two, throwing the items across the already demolished walls and the roof. Shadow then spread his arms, as he charged his chaos energy through his body, and soon he was surrounded by the crimson aura. His eyes painted in crimson red as well, as he then spoke in a chilling voice.
"So…. this is how you want to end this!?" He asked through gritted teeth. Luna said nothing in response, as she just stared at him back with that look of pure anger still shining across her gorgeous face.
Fluttershy gasped and covered her eyes with her hands, not really eager to see the outcome of this, while Miles continued staring at this scene with a shocked look on his face, and he did not want to believe that Shadow the Hedgehog of all people is going to bring the harm to Princess Luna.
In an orb, Shadow and Luna kept staring at each other, while being surrounded by their own active powers, until one moment, and at the same time, they ceased to shine. The gust of wind died down, and the eyes of the two turned back to normal. They kept staring at each other in shock. They as if didn't believe that they were ready to kill each other, possessed by a mutual distrust and anger.
After a few minutes, Luna sighed deeply, as she turned away from him, and looked out of the demolished window. After realizing what he almost done, Shadow looked down at his own hands, and clenched them into the fists, disgusted at what he almost let this escalate into and squinted in anger, but now it was anger at himself. He then looked up at the Night Princess, and approached her.
"Lulu… Lulu, I'm sorry." He apologies, as he spoke in a whisper; "I don't know what came over me…"
Luna closed her eyes sadly, as she never turned to him; "No… Maybe this must end here… really?" She said, as she hugged herself with both hands. Shadow tried to put the hand on her shoulder, but she moved her shoulder away from the path of his hand.
"Don't touch me…" She said quietly. Shadow, though, did not give up.
"Luna…" He spoke, but the Night Princess was only about to give him a sad look over her right shoulder.
"I guess the whole thing between us was a huge mistake." She said, to which Shadow now frowned.
"Don't say it." He said confidently; "You are the only one to whom I can trust! And for who I am ready to die for!" He said as he punched himself heavily in the chest; "You made me the happiest man in the world, and… you're the only one who understands me. You're the only one who saw the whole thing. I know I've been an idiot for so long, but… I have changed, and I will continue to change… *sigh*... I don't want to lose you like that! I don't want to lose you ever!" He finished his speech, still frowning.
Luna shut her eyes tightly, as she tried to hold back the tears; "Don't you see how much pain we bring to each other?" She asked, a heavy tremble in her voice, and looked away from him; "It could've been worse. It could've been a tragedy… f-for the both of us." She asked as she then swallowed her own pain and opened her eyes to see the night sky.
"I know, we fooled… I fooled." Shadow continued his attempts of dissuading her; "But we can learn from that. Who would've we been if we weren't? We're just living beings… despite our powers…" He said with a sigh, as he looked at her with big regret; "Lulu, please… don't do that." He begged her to stop.
However, the Night Princess did not seem to change her mind, and she thought that it would be better for them both.
"You gotta go." She said sadly, as she then looked at him; "It's late already. You might lose your plane."
Shadow felt heartbroken, when she said it, and it was possible to tell on his face that this struck him heavier than the knife. His eyes ran across the room, to find something to break and destroy. He found a wall, and let his anger consume him, as he then charged a chaos spear in his left hand, and performed a powerful energy beam at the wall, destroying it instantly, making its debris to spread across the room. Luna shrieked in suddenness, and fell on to her knees, while shielding herself from the said debris with her arms. She began crying softly in sadness.
Seeing her in a state like this was the last straw for Shadow, as he then took one long look at her crying silhouette. Knowing that there was nothing he could fix, he then left the demolished chambers.
Luna was left alone with her pain, as she picked up the photographs from the floor. She squeezed them in the palms of her hands, and began crying even louder as she looked at the night skies as if begging for their forgiveness.
"I'm sorry…" She cried loudly; "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
Fluttershy and Miles stared at the helpless image of crying Princess Luna as if they felt her pain, and both of them also had some tears running across their cheeks. They kept staring at the image before the orb flared up brightly, and ceased to shine. Now it was a simple crystal orb.
The fox guy then dropped the orb on the floor, and covered his nose with his hands as he folded them together and breathed into them. Fluttershy wiped some of her tears as she then looked at her friend, and seeing him in his current state she sat closer and hugged him tightly, which he did not resist at all and let her hug him while he himself rested his head on her left shoulder. They sat like that in silence for a few moments, and when they finally calmed down they looked at each other's eyes to exchange friendly smiles. They then looked at the orb.
"Whoa… I honestly never thought that... Shadow of all people would have relationships with someone… and not just someone, but… with one of the most powerful and beautiful women in the world." He said quietly, a sad hoarse in his voice; "... *sigh*... that's so sad that their relationships ended so badly…"
Fluttershy sighed at this as she began caressing the hair of the fox-guy; "I guess when they said that love just as much pain as it does joy, they weren't kidding with that." She commented on that as she then sighed; "I hope Princess coped with that painful break up." She voiced her hope, to which Miles nodded in agreement.
"I hope so, too." He agreed, as he then heard the beeping sound of his radar. He then shot a questioning look and returned into a normal sitting position, and took a quick look at his radar to see that it was no longer lagging but showed them their actual place. He then took it into his hands, and looked at it to see how much they left. But only to sigh in disappointment.
"Fifty more miles?" He asked, a bit annoyed.
Fluttershy cringed a bit; "I didn't know it was so far from Ponyville." She said as she then giggled nervously. Tails then expressed a high frustration on his face, as he then put the radar on the ground next to the piece of rock he was sitting on. He then buried his face into his own hands, and breathed out into his own palms. His female companion found herself confused again, as she then sat closer to him.
"Why are you unamused right now? The radar is working." She noted, to which the fox nodded, as he then opened his eyes, and dropped his hands to his own laps, before he glanced at Fluttershy.
"Yes, it is working, but earlier this day before it malfunctions… it already showed us 50 miles of the road…" He commented, to which Fluttershy gave a look that said 'I get it now'.
"Aaaahhhhh..." She ah'd as she then smiled again. The two continued staring at each other silently, before they looked out of the window. Both of them saw that the sun was already setting down, and they knew that right now it was way too late for continuing their journey. The memory they saw made them stay here for too long. Sighing, Fluttershy dropped her head, startled lightly by the thought that she should stay here for the night.
"Are you sure we should stay here?" She asked Miles, to which he shrugged.
"I'm not." He said as he looked at her, and seeing her being head-dropped, he put the finger to her chin, making her look at him; "What do you think? The castle is big, and can be easily spotted in the distance, and I don't know if we get one unexpected guest, or more of them. Plus, we left our bags outside."
Fluttershy smiled happily when he said these, and then she hugged him with all she had, and cuddled as tight as she only could. She kissed him on the cheek as a sign of her gratitude, though, she did not pay attention to it as she continued hugging him. Tails, though, blushed madly at her kiss and her reaction to his agreement to her request, that is not spending the night in this ancient castle. Though, he decided to stay silent because it was very pleasant. After all, he himself had warm feelings for this very girl. He then grinned nervously and hugged her in response, as he patted her on the back.
Soon, they finished their hug, and looked into the eyes of each other with smiles on their faces.
"Could you help me up, please?" Tails asked Fluttershy, to which she uttered a friendly chuckle before she stood up, and helped him return back to his feet. The two then looked at the floor, at the orb, which was now laying on the floor. The faces of the two went sad again, as the pegasi girl then decided to pick it up.
"What do we have to do with this?" Miles asked.
Fluttershy looked into his eyes; "I think we gotta give it back to Princess Luna." She announced; "It wouldn't be nice to leave it here so anyone else could see it. This memory… it might be extremely personal for her."
Miles nodded in agreement; "Alright." He said as the two then started their way back to their things left outside of the castle.
Outside.
Shadow stepped off the rope bridge of the Alicorn Sisters Castle, as he continued on his angry way back to the Ponyville to take the train to Canterlot, and then fly back to Central City to forget this day, and forget what just happened when he and Luna were ready to attack each other and make the powers contest which would certainly cause a massive Equestrian Emergency. He walked over to the first tree he found, as he then stopped and leaned against it while slouching in anger.
"Dammit!" He swore loudly at himself, as he then performed a series of deep breaths in/out to calm his nerves. When he performed one final sigh, he stretched up again, and opened his eyes as he looked into the darkness of the forest. He then became sad, because this darkness was something that expects him if he will leave it just like that and won't even try to fix it. He tried, though, but he gave up and freaked out the only woman who sincerely loved him. She overreacted, though, but so did he as well.
Looking at the castle tower where they spoke just recently, he sighed as he walked back.
When he was inside, he quickly ran up on the spiral stairs; "Luna!" He called her out; "Luna, I want you to listen to me!"
He quickly overcame the stairs and appeared in the corridor that led to that room where they spoke. Though, he then stopped a few meters away from that doorway, when he saw the bright flash of light. Gasping, he hurried to see the door, but just as he was in the doorway, the flash had disappeared, and the room was empty. She was now gone, probably in tears, and he no longer has a chance to explain himself and fix this terrible misunderstanding.
Shadow then left the room slowly, and nuzzled his back against the stone wall. He then slid down on the floor into a sitting position as he bent one of his legs in the knee while his other was stretched. With his head bowed, the Mobian sat there in silence and deep train of thought for quite a long time.
"So you came back that night?" He heard Luna's voice soothingly singing next to him.
"Yes." He answered, not turning his head at her direction and not looking at her; "I did not want to have this ended like this… *sigh*... I did not want to end this at all."
Luna, dressed in skinny jeans, black high heel shoes, pink top and leather jacket over the top, approached him slowly and sat next to him. She was smiling lovingly at him before she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I knew it." She said softly; "I knew that you did come back."
"Why did you leave then?" Shadow asked in a whisper, to which Luna did not cease her smile, as she tightened her grip around him.
"I was still mad at you for your yellings, and so I teleported back to the castle." She answered, before she kissed him on the cheek; "I'm so sorry. I was so stupid…"
"I no longer have even the smallest seed of anger in my heart for you." Shadow replied as he then looked at her to meet with her beautiful eyes and smile; "I was hoping if you forgave me for my antics." He said with a well heard note of regret in his voice. Instead of an answer, The Moon Alicorn woman gifted him with another loving kiss of hers as a sign that she's not mad at him in any single way. Shadow gladly returned the kiss.
When they finished with it, they looked into the eyes of each other; "So you know that you are sleeping?" She asked, a small note of playfulness in her voice, to which Shadow smirked.
"Of course, because you did not come back that very night." Shadow said as he sighed; "Can you stay with me?"
"Not for long." Luna answered as she ran her finger through his hair; "I need to check other people's dreams to be sure that they are not having any nightmares, and… to restore my powers." She then rested her head at his shoulder; "That and I got to know how your mission is going on." She changed the topic of their conversation; "Is Twilight alright?"
"Yes." Shadow answered with a sigh as he took her by the hand; "She's fine, though… She was a little scared. We have met with the Walking Dead here in the Canterlot region." Luna then opened her eyes and looked at him with a worried look on her face; "We have met with a family that came from Ponyville. The Cakes family if I recall right, and… this famous writer of yours… Author of Daring Do novels." Shadow reported, and Luna nodded.
"Please, continue." She asked him to continue; "What happened with them? Are they safe?"
"Yes." Shadow said; "They had their two children with them. Mr. Cake explained that they went camping on the day of the attack." He then sighed; "And when they went to sleep, the Walking Dead attacked us. We barely managed to escape."
Luna nodded upon listening to his report; "Understood." She said; "Were there many of them? The Walking Dead?"
Shadow nodded; "A few dozens I think." He answered her question; "I had no time to count them all, I'm sorry." He commented sarcastically; "We led the Cakes, and the writer lady to the hunting cabin in the forest, and ordered them to wait until my return." He reported again, and Luna replied with another nod.
"Alright. What happened next?" She asked.
"We continued on our search." Shadow continued; "We checked on the buildings in a few nearby villages, but still with no result. And when we went to the final town…" Shadow cut himself off as he remembered what happened; "Dammit… Somebody attacked us."
"Attacked?" Luna asked, startled, to which Shadow turned away with a glare. He then closed his eyes as he tried to remember the moment when he was blacked out.
"I think so…" He answered. He then opened his eyes and turned at Luna.
"One of last few things I remember is like something pricked me in the back of my neck, and, then… the light became dim… I felt weakness in the legs, and exhaustion…" Shadow said, as he then smacked himself on the knee; "Dammit!"
"And Twilight?" Luna asked, a strong note of anxiety in her voice.
"I only…" Shadow spoke again, trying to remember; "I only remember her yelling something like… Let me go… Oh crap…."
"I'll immidiately send my guards to help you!" Luna confidently said, but Shadow shook his head negatively.
"Bad idea." He dissuaded her, looking straight into her eyes; "They caught us in the Hermit Houses, and where are we now I don't know, I was blacked out… and… the walkers are out there. Your guards might not even manage to leave the Canterlot."
The Night Princess looked at him sadly; "But I must do something." She said, concerned; "I cannot sit in the castle, while you are there somewhere, captured, and… probably beaten. Have you at least seen who they are?"
Shadow sighed and shook his head negatively; "No." He said; "I was knocked out before I saw them, but… From Twilight's screams I can tell that they're living beings." He then frowned and looked into her eyes; "I'll try to deal with them myself." He announced; "Don't tell anyone about what happened until we return back."
"Why?" Luna asked, being extremely worried.
"Just trust me on that." Shadow said, caressing her hand; "I'll contact you just as I'll get free… on the next night in the dream, alright?"
Luna nodded; "Alright." She said, before kissing him in the cheek, and hugging him tightly; "Please, take care of yourself, and Twilight. Come back as quickly as you could."
"I will…" Shadow assured her as he wrapped his left arm around her; "I will… I will…"
Back to reality.
Shadow opened his heavy eyelashes, but his vision was still blurry after all the high dose of sedatives he received through the tranq darts. He saw the yellow light of a lamp through his eye blurs and someone's dark silhouette wandering around. The dark Mobian squinted to see who it was and attempted to clear his view, but then he felt an incredible pain in his gut, and in his head, as if he was beaten by someone.
"Ugh…" He moaned in heavy pain, as he then opened his eyes again. This time his vision had finally cleared, and he saw that he was in some sort of tent, litten up by a kerosene lamp which stood on the top of a wooden table. Looking to his left, he saw a figure of an Equestrian man standing his back at him, and dressed in camouflage clothes, and black ankle boots. The man's figure was large, though he couldn't tell how he looked, because his coat and his hair are all covered in uniform. He even wore the black mask to cover his face, or at least from the back it looked like a mask. He also had a tool belt with a knife case.
Shadow then tried to move his hands but only to feel that he was tied up to the column. He looked at his hands over his right shoulder to see that his feelings weren't deceiving, and he indeed was tied up. In general, he found himself on the floor with his hands tied, and unable to move. At least, that's what the kidnappers thought it is. Shadow then smirked at this.
"Heh… How pathetic." He commented quietly, but only to hear the voice of the one who guarded him.
"Ah, woke up already, you mobian pig!?" He heard a deep male voice. Shadow looked up to see the Equestrian man was approaching him slowly, while grinning wickedly. The mobian, though, gave him a look of confusion. Not only this guy wore a mask, but he also was an earth pony, not even a pegasus.
"Is that some sort of a joke?" Shadow asked, before he received a strong kick on the head; "AArgh…" Shadow groaned in pain, as the executioner then grabbed him by the collar and pulled him up to the face level. When Shadow opened his eyes, he saw that the Equestrian was even shorter than him, and that massive body silhouette was just an optical illusion.
"I'm not a joke to you, fucker!" The executioner glared, while looking into Shadow's eyes; "Who are you!? How many of you are here!? Where were you taking Princess Twilight at!?"
Shadow looked questioningly at him; "What a-are you talking about?" He asked before the executioner punched him in the face. Shadow again groaned in pain, but the man shocked him hard again.
"Who are you!?" He asked, as he then punched him again.
"How many soldiers did you bring with you!?"
He punched him again.
"What were you gonna do with one of our Princesses!?"
He punched him again.
"What did you do with our other Princesses!?"
He punched Shadow again, and this time Shadow looked at him with an enrage glare, as he felt an insane anger towards this dumbass.
"Punch me again, and I'll turn your life into a nightmare!" Shadow threateningly said, to which the executioner pulled out his knife and put it to Shadow's throat.
"Listen here, you scum!" He growled; "We spare your life because we thought that you could share some information with us! Don't make me finish you earlier than it's needed."
Shadow's glare became even wider; "I don't think so!" He coldly said, before his hand grabbed the executioner's hand, shocking the latest. The Mobian then twisted the Equestrian's arm, and brought him to the knees. As a final blow, Shadow kicked the idiot on the back of the knee to disable the executioner's movements. The executioner then moaned in pain, as he then looked towards the exit of the tent. He opened his mouth and breathed in some air to scream for help.
"He… mmmphhhh…" He was cut off by Shadow's hand, as he then looked at the enraged Mobian to see him staring back with burning rage in his eyes.
"They won't help you." Shadow quietly threatened the executioner, as he then pulled off his mask. Under the mask, he saw the face of light-brown male earth-pony with darker brown hair. Shadow then huffed.
"Seriously? I was left on a guard by an earth pony?" He asked, as he then bared his teeth, and started twisting the stallion's arm, bringing an insane pain into the guy's body; "Even Queen of Mobius, and Equestrian Princesses aren't first in line to compete with me, and you idiots left one earth pony to guard me!" He then dragged the guy across the tent to the table which stood straight before the column to which Shadow was tied up just recently. And when he reached the table, Shadow slammed the pony's face into the table's surface.
"Don't move!" The hedgehog ordered.
The former executioner groaned in terrible pain, and wanted to scream, but then he felt some kind of rubber round object enter his mouth. He then opened his eyes and looked at the table to see that of all the instruments the mouth gag is missing. He then felt something wrapped around his head, and looked up at the captured Mobian to see him tying up the gag's lace.
Shadow finished with tying up his now prisoner's mouth, as he then grabbed his arm and twisted it in FBI style to immobilize the enemy and bring him even more pain. He then grabbed the stallion's hair, and pulled him up to the face level of his own face.
"Now, mister the dumbest fucktard in an entire universe, it's my turn to ask some questions, and I want to hear honest and sincere answers!" He announced, a threatening tone in his voice, to which the prisoner nodded silently; "The answer must be short. Nod is for yes, and shaking head is for no! Clear!?"
The prisoner nodded, to which Shadow nodded back; "Good!" He commented; "Now go there!" He growled in rage, as he then threw the executioner at the column. The stallion rammed into the column, and fell on to the ground while suffering from immense pain. In the meantime, Shadow decided to check on what this dumbass had on this table. Checking on the wooden surface, he spotted some torture tools, like medical saw, scalpel, an awl, nails, a hammer, a nail clipper, and even toothpicks to stuff them under the fingernails.
The mobian's teeth gnashed as he then looked at his former guard. As a GUN agent he perfectly knew what these things are brought for and of course he guessed what they are about to do with him. He then took an awl, and slowly approached the beaten pony.
The executioner opened his eyes slowly as he then looked up to see the huge silhouette of a Mobian hedgehog walking over him in a slow and a threatening type of a walk. He then gasped and tried to back away, but instantly stumbled against the column. Shadow slowly closed the gap between them, and kneeled down on one knee to be on the same level with the stallion.
"Now, let's begin." He snarled quietly; "Did you bring any single harm to Princess Twilight?" He asked as he began playing with an awl.
The pony shook his head in response, to which Shadow nodded slowly.
"Good." He commented; "Did you planned to torture me… with these?" He asked as he pointed towards the tools. The pony looked towards the table with torture tools, and then he looked back into Shadow's eyes. He guessed that if he shook his head, or say no, he may get a hit, or this guy will give this awl a use. He then decided to nod him.
"Hmph…" Shadow hmph, as he did an eyebrow trick; "Why? You think that I was going to do any harm to Princess Twilight?"
The pony nodded.
Shadow then sat closer and put awl's sharp end to the pony's throat to which the latest one sweat dropped in fear as he even shivered heavily.
"What kind of a cum did you swallow to even think of something like that?" He asked a rhetorical question as he then moved even closer; "You asked me how many of us are here, where did I take Princess Twilight at, and what did we do with other Princesses… You and your idiot friends decided to play rebel group? You think that Mobius attacked Equestria?" He asked the last question with his teeth bared and clenched.
The Equestrian nodded again, as he then gulped. Shadow really wanted to beat the shit out of this guy for this whole nonsense he's hinting at, and what was the actual reason for the Equestrian crisis. But he managed to keep himself under control, so he then took a deep breath in/out. He then looked deep into the eyes of an earth pony, and grabbed him by the collar. He pulled him up to his face leve, and now there was only a few inches distance between them two.
"Now you will take me to your boss, or whoever is in charge in this place!" He ordered threateningly as his eyes then began to glow, and soon painted into pale vicious crimson color; "And if you will dare to refuse my offer, I'll do to you some things you aint gonna like." He said coldly and darkly, to which the pony started shedding some tears; "Did I make myself clear!?" He asked, to which the male pony nodded without any second thought left.
Meanwhile in another part of the camp.
"Can you, please explain to me what brought this idea into your mind!?" Twilight angrily asked the leader of these robin hoods as she stood inside of the tent in front of a table with an Equestrian map. The leader, who was a white male pegasus, dressed in a camouflage military uniform, and had a gun hanging on his shoulder, looked at her with a questioning look on his face.
"Princess, did you see what's going on in the world… in the country?" He asked a surprised tone of his voice as he then pointed at the map; "The robots were only a first phase of the attack, and the next phase is already on." He said as he pointed at some regions; "Look. We found a few combat groups here, not far from Canterlot Mountain, armored in a disguised armor which look really much like our fellow Equestrians."
Twilight facepalmed; "These are Equestrians, the dead Equestrians!" She yelled at him as she gave him a glare; "These robots were not the Mobian intervention! Hell… How can it be if two Mobian Princes are currently in Equestria!? Them, and thousands of Mobians came to visit the world's championship!? Did you even think of it before you were possessed by this conspiracy!?"
The leader looked at her; "The princes are here?" He asked, as he then looked at the map; "Can you tell them where they currently are?"
Twilight then spoke; "The Crowned Prince of Mobius, Manuel Delphius is currently in Canterlot, and Prince Sonic Delphius is gone missing at the day of the attack, where he put his biggest attempts to save as many Equestrians as he could and lead them away from us, Equestrians as far as he could, and he's gone missing, probably deceased to save our lives!" She announced as she looked into his eyes with almost teary eyes.
The leader then hmm'd; "So it means that Aleena tries to promote her daughter as a Crowned Princess…" He suggested as he looked away, to which Twilight's eyes widened at his stupidity; "... I guess she and her sons had some conflicts, and she decided to get rid of them?" He finished his thoughts, to which Twilight couldn't help, but grabbed him by the collar, and looked even more enraged.
"Are you even listening to me!?" She yelled at him; "This is completely not what you think it is!" She then slapped him; "My friends were with Prince Sonic, and Rainbow Dash, your hero, your protector is his current girlfriend, also gone missing along with him, and me and Mr. Shadow the Hedgehog went on a risky mission to save them, and find out what is happening in Equestria! Now! I order you to… BRING ME TO HIM!" She shouted so loudly, that the leader of the squad had a temporary ringing in his ears.
He had no chance to reply, though, as soon they heard urgent footsteps outside of the tent, and soon a very worried female earth pony entered the tent.
"Rocky, we have an emergency." She announced; "The prisoner… he escaped…"
Rocky widened his eyes; "Escaped?" He shouted; "How?"
"Follow me." His female companion said, as she then left the tent. Rocky then looked at the Princess with a frown, and grabbed his gun as he then approached the exit of the tent.
"Stay here." He said confidently, as he then left. Twilight groaned in annoyance and followed him to see what's going on.
When she exited the tent, she saw Rocky, and his female companion standing in the middle of the tent camp with their guns at something, or at someone, in this case. The Princess then approached the two, and looked at where they were looking at, but only to gasp in shock. She saw Shadow the Hedgehog moving across the tents, with his face turned to the 'rebellion group' members as he used one of their mates as a shield from their bullets. He was moving slowly and carefully, and never let the now teary eyed executioner go, and had his left arm around the stallion's neck, and held an awl in his right hand with its sharp end near the fighter's throat.
"Stay at a good distance!" Shadow ordered the others to not come closer. Others still had their guns aimed at Shadow, but they did not come closer. Shadow looked through the crowd of this gang, and spotted Twilight's silhouette amongst them, as he then stopped his movements, still staying closer to the tents, and rocks, near which the camp was settled at.
"Are you alright, Twilight?" He asked the Princess, to which Twilight sighed in relief, seeing him awoken, and in conscious. She then looked at the leader of these gunslingers, frowning.
"Lower your guns, and let me speak with my partner!" She ordered, to which Rocky, and his teammate looked at her questioningly.
"But Princess, he's our prisoner." The female pony resisted, to which Twilight deepened her frown.
"It's an order!" She ordered, to which everyone had no point to argue, and Rocky then looked around his teammates.
"Lower your guns!" He ordered, to which everyone was reluctant to refuse, but they still did it, and lowered their guns. Twilight then sighed and approached Shadow and this weird familiar looking pony.
"Stay where you are!" She ordered as she approached the two. She then looked at Shadow with concern, when she saw that he had some blood coming our of his mouth.
"Shadow, where did this blood come from?" She asked, to which Shadow untied the executioner's mouth.
"Tell her!" He said; "And tell her the truth!"
The stallion instantly obeyed; "I was torturing him." He confessed, to which Twilight gasped in shock; "I wanted to get an information of how many Mobian soldiers are currently in Equestria, and what they did to all of the Princesses."
Twilight gasped at this; "WHAT!?" She asked as she then angilly looked at Rocky over her right shoulder; "Tortured? You tortured a prisoner!?" She then approached the guerilla group leader as she pointed her finger at him; "Torturing is a felony crime in Equestria! Especially in a time of crisis, like right now! The last thing we need to regress into mindless animals while an enemy is attacking us!" Twilight said in righteous rage towards their captives.
Rocky raised both of his hands up in a defensive manner; "Crisis?" He asked as he then frowned at her back; "Princess, we are in a state of war against Mobius who is, do not forget, is superior to our technology and weaponry, and who knows, maybe even to our very magic, which is the only thing we, Equestrians can call our own!" He pointed at Shadow; "This bastard over there could've killed you if he had the chance!?"
"Then why didn't he kill Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna, and Princess Cadence in the castle when he had his chance!?" Twilight shouted in rage as she then facepalmed; "And why didn't he kill me when he had a chance? We have been wandering through the landscapes of Equestria for three days now, and he never attempted to kill me even though… he had thousands chances of taking me off the road!"
"Nobody knows what these Mobians have in mind, Princess Twilight." Rocky said as he then shrugged the shutter of his automatic rifle, and pointed it at Twilight; "And… you're right when you're wondering why he didn't kill you."
Twilight gasped at this as she then lifted up one of her eyebrows; "Excuse me?" She asked, shocked by his sudden movements, as Rocky then deepened his frown.
"How can we be sure that other Princesses are alive, and you're not in a collusion with Mobians?" He asked as he put his finger on the trigger. Twilight sighed annoyingly at this as she prepared to approach him, but he aimed at her with his semi-auto rifle, making her stop, and raising her hands up.
"Rocky? What are you doing?" She asked with a small note of fear; "You're going to arrest your Princess?"
"You're not my Princess if you're colluding with the aggressors!" Rocky snarled in response as he stepped closer; "Keep your hands up! You are under arrest in the name of Princess Celestia!"
"Don't even dare to put your hands on her!" Rocky heard the dark voice of a Mobian hedgehog, and they all looked at him to see him now standing in his full height, and holding the executioner by the mane whereas the later was now kneeling before Shadow. Everyone aimed their weapons at him, and reloaded their guns.
"You weren't allowed to speak, you scum!" Rocky shouted but Shadow replied at this with a smirk of his own.
"You really think that I will obey to your orders?" He asked as he then put his hand into the pocket of his overall clothes. Everyone opened fire at him, as Twilight was lucky enough to duck to the ground when they started shooting at him. All bullets reached their goal, but the guerilla group members did not stop shooting. They were shooting over and over, thus making noise that could be heard from a large distance. Once they stopped shooting, there was a deadly silence, and no one dared to say a word.
Everyone stared at the one they wanted to shoot down with shocked looks on their faces, as they wouldn't believe in what they saw before them. Twilight then opened her eyes and ears, once the shooting was over, and despite some ringing in her ears, she dared to look at Shadow to see what happened to him, but only to widen her eyes in shock, and cover her mouth with her own hands.
The dark hedgehog stood there, absolutely unharmed, and untouched, with his right hand still in the pocket of his overall clothes, while he glowed with a vicious crimson aura surrounding his whole body, and his eyes also glowing with bright crimson red. He was smirking mockingly at Rocky, and those who stood near him. His eyes then scanned the rest of the group, and then he pulled the hand out of his pocket but now it held a military flask with water.
"You have no idea how fucked up you are!" Shadow said to Rocky, as then opened his flask and took a few sips from there. He then threw the flask away, and his aura glowed brighter as he then stood in a battle stance.
"My turn!" He snarled as he then rushed at Rocky with a full speed, and gave him an insanely powerful kick into the face. Rocky flew off into the unknown distance, somewhere in the nearest bush.
The female pony, who stood near Rocky, tried to perform another series of shots at the hedgehog, but he kicked her gun off her hands, and then he performed a roundhouse kick right into her face, thus knocking her off. He saw her falling on the ground and groaning in pain.
Three more guerilla members began shooting at him, however, he was as if made of bulletproof steel, and the bullets ricocheted off him, and did not bring even a single harm on his body, or even on his clothes. Shadow charged at them and with one powerful blow, he knocked them all on the ground. One flew towards the tent, while two others met their asses with the huge rock, near which the camp is settled.
Four others decided to go into hand to hand combat, thinking that they can beat him up.
Shadow caught the punch of one of them and dodged two other attacks, one of which was a kick, while another was a knife attack. The fourth attempted to perform a sweep kick, but the dark hedgehog did a backflip, and while he did he kicked one of them in the chest, thus knocking him on the ground. When he landed on his feet, he used both of his hands to block two hand attacks on both of his sides, and while the third one tried to kick him in the gut, he used his leg block the kick, and then he twisted the arms of two other attackers, thus immobilized them, as the two fell on the ground in pain.
The fourth attacker then performed a series of punches and kicks, as he tried to hit this Mobian at least with anything, but all his attacks were blocked by a GUN agent with almost 20 years of battle training. Shadow then decided to finish it, as he caught the arm of his attacker and twisted it. As a final blow, the dark hedgehog punched the stallion in the chest and kicked him in the gut. The attacker fell on the ground and began rolling across in pain.
Those who did not participate in this obviously short battle, stared at their mates with shocked looks on their faces, as they saw what he did to them all so quickly, and he seemingly did not have any injury, or even a small scratch on his body.
The mobian, though, stared at them still enraged and glowing in that very aura; "You want some, too?" He asked them darkly, and all they replied with was dropping their weapons on the grounds, and raising their hands in a defensive manner. Shadow smirked at that and nodded.
"Much better." He said; "Stay where you are, and don't even think to escape! If you'll try…" He pointed his finger at them; "... I will always catch you!" He then turned to Twilight and approached her slowly, as he then kneels before her on one knee.
"Twilight." He called her out softly, to which the lavender alicorn Princess replied with blinking of her eyes three times. She then sighed deeply, and arched her eyebrows.
"You know …" She began; "... You gotta give me some explanation to what I just saw."
Shadow gave her a half smile; "Of course." He said as he gave her a hand. Twilight accepted his hand as she then stood up. Suddenly, she threw herself into his arms, and nuzzled against him tightly, glad to know he's okay. Shadow sighed at her reaction and patted her on the back as he gave her a comfort hug.
Meanwhile, Rocky stood up, still groaning in pain, and holding onto his head with both hands. He then opened his eyes and tried to pick up his rifle, but soon the Mobian's leg stood on the top of a rifle. Rocky slowly lifted his eyes up to see two angry faces of an Equestrian Alicorn Princess, and a Mobian Hedgehog.
"Now it's time for explanation!" Shadow said as he then grabbed the pegasus by the collar and picked him up. He then dragged him into the main tent.
"Gaaaaahhhhh…" Rocky shouted before he get thrown onto the ground by Shadow. When he looked up, he saw that the hedgehog stood there with his arms crossed in the chest, while Twilight walked out from behind his strong back, and slowly approached the pegasus.
Rocky glared at them both; "You won't get anything from me, or my people! Traitor!" He snarled, referring to Twilight, but only to get slapped by her.
"Ouch!" He whined, but soon Twilight grabbed him by her magic and levitated him to her face level.
"Rocky!" She began; "Of all the possible options you could come up with… this option is the dumbest option ever!"
"Then what are you doing outside of the castle?" Rocky shouted; "You're the Princess! You should be secured!"
"I am secured!" Twilight cut him off as she deepened her frown; "Secured by him!" She pointed at Shadow.
The hedgehog then stood next to the Princess of Friendship, and shook his head at Rocky as he gave him a look of a disappointed dad.
"Hmph… Fear is always a key to the solutions you came up with… you and your people." He said calmly and darkly; "But for the sake of common sense, you could've at least asked us if we are rescuers, or not."
"Rescuers!" Rocky huffed; "Don't tell me nonsense!"
"Rescuers?" They suddenly heard a female voice behind their backs, as they looked there to see who it was, and it was a female earth pony, who held the gun in her hands just recently, but now looked at the two with curiosity; "What are you talking about?"
"Don't listen to them!" Rocky ordered; "They're trying to fool us!"
Twilight put a hand to her forehead and shook her head at his ignorance. She then approached a female pony with a confident look on her face.
"Mr Shadow the Hedgehog is sent by Princess Celestia to find and save Mobian Royal Prince Sonic Delphius, who's gone missing on the day of the attack, along with my friends. Your heroes." She said softly, and with a sad look on her face; "I volunteered to help him in this mission to make contact with one of them. That's why we are here." She then frowned; "We could've found them already if we weren't caught by you."
"Why did you go alone then?" Another one asked; "Where're your guards? If Princess Celestia is alive, then she would've sent a group of soldiers to look for survivors." One of the skeptical ponies asked if what Princess Twilight Sparkle said could be considered true by any standards of belief.
Twilight frowned as she looked at him; "She sent five! She sent five groups of soldiers to look for the survivors and bring them back to Canterlot Castle!" She said dramatically; "She sent Wonderbolts to see how much damage the attack did to Equestria, and only one of them returned while bringing the body parts of the others as a proof of what's happening. Prince Manuel Delphius, an heir to the Mobian throne is currently in the castle with other Princesses, and doing his best to help our people in this hard time. Is that a sign of Mobian intervention for you? Do you really believe that Queen Aleena is ready to sacrifice the lives of her sons, her citizens who are currently in Equestria, and her best GUN Agent and even the lives of her own citizen of her own country, who are by the way, suffering through the same thing we're going through for some stupid war plans?"
"Yes, to come, and conquer us from the inside." Rocky huffed, as he looked towards his people; "Don't believe them. It's a provocation! He must have an order to pulverize every single Equestrian he sees!"
Shadow looked questioningly at Rocky; "If I have an order like this one, why are you still alive?." He said confidently; "You and your people out there."
"I don't know!" Rocky shouted helplessly; "I'm not from GUN! I don't know what is happening in your mind! LIAR!"
Other ponies, who just entered the tent all widened their eyes when he said that; "GUN?" One of them asked as she approached Shadow; "Are you from GUN?"
Shadow pulled out his wallet, opened it, and showed them his GUN ID card; "Did you even check my things when I was blacked out?" He asked as he gave the 'rebels the look of annoyance; "You are a bunch of scared fools. All of you!" He then hid the wallet back into his special overall suit.
Twilight sighed at this as she then put her hand onto Shadow's shoulder; "Shadow don't be so harsh at them." She said a bit sternly; "They're scared. They're away from civilization, have no power, or radio to contact with the rest of the world…"
"Does that excuse them from attacking us?" He asked Twilight with a growl, to which the lavender princess frowned back.
"Shadow, stop!" She barked, as the hedgehog then turned away, and walked over to the table, and clenched his fists hard. The ponies swore they could hear his knuckles cracking, and most of them had a strong seed of fear in their hearts due to what they saw just recently, when they wasted their ammos at him but he hasn't got any single harm from it. Twilight Sparkle then sighed at his reaction, as she knew that she had no authority to control him, or make him do her orders, but at least he was silent now.
When she glanced at the rebel ponies, she gave them a calm look, and approached closer.
"Now you see that neither of us are your enemies, and that Mobius isn't the aggressor here?" She asked as she finally managed to smile. The guerilla squad members kept staring into Twilight's eyes with a strong sign of reluctance on their faces, as the lack of the exact information of what really is happening in the world kept them away from both accepting and refusing her statement. They then began exchanging glances, looking for an answer inside of the eyes of one another, and they obviously failed with this.
Rocky obviously was the one who did not believe a thing; "Oh, come on. Did you actually believe in this bullshit!?" He yelled at them; "If you'll join them, they will stab you in the back. Mark my words!" He said, arrogantly convinced that the anointed princess and her personal bodyguard had nothing but malicious intentions for him and his community, despite having no sound proof of his claims, other than his unhinged ignorant prejudice.
Shadow then sighed annoyingly and walked over to him; "Shut the fuck up!" He said coldly; "You can go to Canterlot Castle yourself, and ask Princess Celestia if she sent me, or not."
"I don't believe you, scum!" Rocky groaned, "And I'll never believe you! You are Traitors! You'll get your vengeance one day, mark my words!" He then threw a few balls on the floor, and these exploded with small flashes to give way to heavy smoke clouds, which shielded everyone's vision. Everyone began coughing, and shielded their eyes from the smoke.
Shadow waved the smoke away, as he then covered his nose and mouth with a tissue from his pocket, and when he chased away the smoke, he saw that the space where the mad pegasus stood just now is empty, and the traces led towards the back of the tent. The hedgehog then glared, and followed the trace, and when he went out of the ten, the traces were gone. He then looked up, but due to the fact that it was dark, Shadow couldn't see where he flew off.
He then returned back into the tent, and saw that the ponies were finished coughing up, and all took a series of deep breaths. He then approached them.
"Is everyone okay?" He asked, to which he heard Twilight's response as the young Princess then looked up into his eyes.
"Yep… *cough*... Sorta." She said, as one of the guerilla members then looked at Shadow.
"Where did he go?" He asked, as Shadow then looked at him.
"He escaped through the air." He answered as he then approached the table, and took his Desert Eagle gun from there, and reloaded it; "It's going to be hard to pursue him, but I'll take care of him a little bit later. Right now I have more important tasks to do!" He then looked at Twilight; "Twilight, take these people to the hunting cabin, and lead them to the safe place! They're coming!" He said as he then walked out of the tent.
"Coming?" The executioner asked; "Who's coming?"
Twilight waved at him with her hand and followed Shadow; "Are you sure? You felt them?" She asked, to which Shadow stopped and looked at her.
"Not yet, but we did way too much of a noise to attract them!" He explained; "I'm surprised they did not show up earlier!" He then shrugged the shutter of his Deagle; "This idiot of a pegasus sure is a lucky idiot! Go I'll hold them off!"
Twilight frowned as she took him by the arm in an elbow area; "Shadow, I won't leave you fighting alone." She announced; "You need extra help."
"And who will take care of your people?" He asked; "Me? I cannot protect them while dealing with the walkers!"
Twilight sighed at this; "Shadow, I… I don't even know where to go." She said the final phrase with sad eyes, to which Shadow shook his head as he then looked at the mountain.
"Run up to that hill!" He ordered as he then looked down at her; "Let them be armed. Stay with them 'til my return! It's an order, Princess! No exceptions are accepted!"
Twilight wanted to argue with him on this topic, though, she was cut off by one of the guerilla ponies, whose voice sounded behind their backs.
"Excuse me?" The male voice asked them, making them both looking at him over their shoulders; "Can you explain where we are going? IT's not like we can… Uuuuhhhh…"
A series of giant claws went through his chest, making him silenced. Everyone gasped in fear, and aimed their guns at the one who slashed their teammate. It obviously was the robot, but it was the first time they saw a robot like that. It was a complete reminicement of an Equestrian pony, only armormed in red and yellow armor. These black eyes had vicious and creepy blood red glowing.
Everyone began backing away from the bot, while having their guns aimed at him. The robot stood there silent, and still had one of the ponies' comrade hanging on the claws of the robot as the metallic beast kept viewing the rest of the team. It then raised its arm higher, and made three steps towards the group.
Shadow jumped in front of the group, as he was in a battle stance; "Stand in a circle!" He shouted as he aimed at the bots; "And stay as far away from them as you could! Back up from them slowly!"
"Them?" One of the group members asked, to which she was shook by her teammate, as she then looked at them and where they were looking, but only to see another couple of robots approaching them. Two of them had Equestrian appearance, and three others were Mobian in appearance.
Twilight then charged her horn, prepared to launch her battle spell. She stood a little before the rest of the group, and her face was full of confidence, but at the same time, it was full of fear. Just in the case, she held her 1911 gun with both hands, and aimed it at the monsters.
In the meantime, the first bot who already killed one of the members of a group, threw the corpse away, and began its slow approach towards the group members. The same to other bots. The circle began closing up, and there was less and less space for the group of survivors, one Princess, and one GUN agent. There was less room for escape, so Shadow then gestured to the others to step towards the bushes, so they could have the place to hide.
In the back of the group, one male pegasus had his wings spreaded, as he was prepared to fly up to attack the bots, but suddenly…
"Aaaahhhhhh…" He shouted loudly, when he was slashed in his back by three giant claws. Everyone looked at him in shock, but only to see how he fell on the ground dead. Behind an already dead body, there was another robot, also a reminisment of Equestrian.
Seeing this, Shadow charged a powerful chaos spear into his arm, as he then shouted; "GET DOWN!" To the survivors. They did what he said, as they all ducked to the ground, just a moment before Shadow launched his powerful energy beam at the bot. The beam struck the bot, but didn't go through, and only threw it off at a good distance.
Six other robots attacked a second after that. They attacked four group members and began tearing them apart. The sheiks of pain and agony filled the overglade of the forest, much to everyone else's shock. But soon the Equestrians quickly realized what they needed to do, and so they all stood up, and opened a heavy fire on the robots.
Shadow launched his chaos boost, and attacked two bots by using roundhouse kick on one, and strong punch on another. He then launched one chaos spear which hit one bot, and by an inertia, into the other three, which freed its victims, but sadly, it was too late. When Shadow saw what happened with these four poor souls, he took one quick glance at Twilight, and saw her being so shocked that she even stood like a statue, and dropping her gun, unable to move.
"Behind you!" One of the group members shouted at Shadow, and when the hedgehog faced the danger, he caught the arms of the bot who was almost about to slash him with its claws. With struggles, Shadow took the upper hand, and pinned the bot to the ground, as he then tore its left arm off. The blood began pouring from the wound of the bot, but there were no yells of pain, which puzzled some of the guerilla ponies.
Shadow then pulled out his gun and aimed it straight into the robot's head. He pulled the trigger and soon the fireshot was heard, as the bullet blew the armor of the robot went through its head. The dark hedgehog then jumped onto his feet and looked at the group of three equestrians who stood like statues when the GUN agent tore the robot's arm off. Shadow ran at them, being very angry.
"What the fuck are you looking at!?" He shouted at them, which snapped the ponies out of their trance; "Shoot them! SHOOT THEM!" He said as he aimed at the Walkers and opened a fire from his Deagle. Other ponies then quickly raised their automatic firearms, and followed Shadow's example by opening the fire on the Walkers.
In the meantime, Twilight stayed in a state of shock as she saw the walkers tore some of these ponies apart like it was nothing. The claws tearing flesh apart, blood splashes around the area, making it all crimson red. She then blinked her eyes as she looked down at her own hands, and saw it also painted in crimson red. Twilight received a strong state of shock, as she started breathing for the air heavily, and hugged herself tightly.
She began looking around, and all she saw was the Walking Dead bots were coming and coming, and she saw Shadow the hedgehog along with the ponies trying to kick them back with the GUN agent obviously being in the avant garde. That's when she fell to her knees, as she felt her lungs having less and less air within. It was a natural panic attack. She tried to perform a series of breaths in/outs to calm her nerves and get back on a track where she should be. Finally, when her breath was recovered, she performed one deep sigh, and opened her eyes as she had her head dropped and her stare aimed at the ground.
"TWILIGHT!" She heard Shadow's scream, which prompted her to open her eyes and look up, but only to see the Walker rushing straight at her. The only thing she left to do is gasping.
The Walker tackled the Princess of Friendship, and threw her into the bushes, as it then dove there after her.
Shadow stared at this in a complete shock, as he then glared and rushed in there to save her. When suddenly he saw the walker being thrown away by the magical shock wave. He froze dead like a statue as he saw the flying walker flying somewhere into the forest, apparently far away from the battle zone.
The next thing that happened is Twilight Sparkle soared from the bush with her wings waving up and down, as they are spreaded wide. She was glowing with a bright pink aura surrounding her entire body, as her eyes were also glowing pale white. She then swayed her wings once, as she flew over to the upcoming walkers, and performed a series of magical attacks to kick them away. One by one, the walkers were thrown away from the battle at a long distance.
The rebel ponies then started cheering for their Princess's saving actions, as they all raised their guns up.
Twilight then soared over the calm, as she continued performing battle spells to destroy the walkers. It had some success with throwing them away, as the calm started to get cleaner from the zombified robots. Those who were succeeded with getting closer to the ponies, Twilight grabbed with their magical grip, and threw them at the rock with an incredible force, thus disabling them forever. When the camp was cleaned from the robots, Twilight ceased to shine with her aura, and landed on the ground.
She looked exhausted with all the powers she just used to destroy a few dozens of the walkers. When her aura was gone and her horn and eyes were no longer glowing, she again lost her consciousness, and nearly fainted. Only to get caught by Shadow's hands, who grabbed her by the shoulders and helped her to remain standing. The Princess of Friendship opened her eyes and looked at the Mobian who caught her, as she smiled at him.
"Hey…" She said weakly, but Shadow gave her a frown.
"We gotta move out." he said as Twilight then performed a few breaths in/out to recover her physical strengths, as she then grabbed her own head and shook it hard. She then opened her eyes as she looked at him again.
"That's okay, I can go." She said as Shadow then let her go of her.
"Princess Twilight…" One of the rebels said enthusiastically; "That was… was…"
"We have no time for compliments!" Shadow barked; "Let's move out, before they returned!"
"But… The Princess is just…" Another rebel tried to argue; "She destroyed them all."
"She destroyed some of them, but the noise we made was heard from afar." Shadow explained sternly.
"Shadow is right." Twilight agreed with her partner, as she approached the rebel ponies; "Let's move out. Go! Go go go!" She yelled the last phrase, as the ponies had nothing left to do but to obey her orders. They then started to leave the camp, but that's when everyone heard a terrifying high pitch roar somewhere in the forest. Everyone stopped and aimed their gazes towards the source of the noise.
Shadow then ran closer to the forest thickets and looked inside, and he saw at least a hundred of pale red eyes glowing through the darkness. He then huffed, as he then turned towards the ponies.
"Get out!" He ordered, to which Twilight frowned and shook her head negatively.
"No!" She yelled, as she ran over at him; "I'll stay with you! I can help you with them, you saw it yourself."
Shadow shook his head, as he slowly removed his inhibitor rings on his wrists. He then handed them to Twilight, making her a bit confused.
"Give it back to me after all is over!" He said, as he then turned away; "Run as far as you could, and quick! This place will soon be a wasteland." He then turned away, and approached the centre of the camp where there was a little campfire still burning.
Twilight stood there confused with two golden rings in her hands, not knowing what to do with them. She heard the roars are getting closer, but was too deep in her train of thoughts. And so does ponies heard these roars.
"Princess Twilight, let's get out of here." One of them said, as Twilight then came back to her thoughts, as she then frowned and clenched these rings in her hands. She then ran over at Shadow, and started yelling at him.
"Don't you dare to refuse me again!" She yelled; "I had enough of refuses in my recent life, and I won't let a man refuse me once again! We went through this, and we will make it through this! Together!"
That's when Shadow flared with a crimson aura, and turned to her completely; "TWILIGHT SPARKLE!" He yelled in a beastly roar, as Twilight gasped, startled by his appearance. He was again the same as she saw him a few minutes ago, when no bullets brought any harm at him.
"AT LEAST ONCE IN YOUR LIFE…" Shadow continued yelling; "... DO AS I SAY! RUN, YOU FOOLS!"
Twilight had nothing left to do, but to stand up, and quickly ran to the other ponies. She and the others then silently escaped into the darkness of the forest.
Shadow saw them running away as far as they could, and when he heard the metallic footsteps behind his back, he turned there to see a bunch of walkers approaching him slowly. They all had these vicious crimson painted eyes glowing, and aiming straight at him. All of them prepared their long and sharp claws to get into the hedgehog's body, and tear him apart. There were a few dozens of them, if not a hundred. Or maybe a few hundreds. He couldn't' say for sure, as they surrounded him on all compassing sides.
The dark hedgehog crossed his hands around his chest, as he put his palms on his shoulders. That's when the walkers rushed at him and tackled him to the ground. Suddenly, his glowing began to intensify. The aura started to shine brighter and brighter, and soon, it sparked like thousand supernova stars.
Meanwhile, Twilight Sparkle and the rebel ponies were running through the forest as fast as they only could to increase the distance between them and the camp. Twilight never looked back all the time while she was running.
A few moments later, they reached the cave deep within the forest, and stopped running. They all fell to their knees, and started breathing deeply to recover the air losses. One of the ponies who leaned against the rock, looked up when she finally recovered her breath.
"I think we lost 'em…" She said quietly, as she then made another deep breath in/out. Twilight then stood up, as she looked back at the direction where the camp was left, as she developed a sad look on her face.
"Why, Shadow?" She asked in a whisper; "Why did you have to end your life that way? What should I do now?" She asked as she then lowered her head and closed her eyes. One of the ponies then walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Princess…" He said softly; "He did this to save us all. To save you."
Twilight shook her head as she then turned away and walked closer to the cave. The rebel pony then uttered a deep sigh, and dropped his head as well. That's when his teammate saw some light sharply rushing through the forest.
"Hey, look." She said as she pointed at the light. Twilight and others then looked there, but only to widen their eyes when they saw that it was getting brighter and brighter, and they thought that it was rushing straight at them with an incredible speed, maybe even speed of light. Twilight arched her eyebrows as she stood closer to the side of the light than everyone.
"What is that?" She asked, just a moment before everyone and everything was blown and thrown away by an incredibly strong shock wave.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
The sound wave came just with the shock wave. With the thunder the trees, the bushes, the rocks. Everything was thrown into a light flight. The ponies were lucky to be thrown into the small ravine, which shielded them from the shock wave.
From the air, as if a large explosion's fireball covered a certain part of the forest, where the camp was just recently. It destroyed everything that was in a five hundred meters radius. The flash of light stayed there for a few more seconds, before it slowly faded away, and the darkness reigned again in the forest.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the Everfree Forest.
On the top of a high heel, Miles stood as he gazed attentively into the distance as he tried to figure out what was the bright flash of light he had just seen. It was pretty far away, almost 70 kilometers away from the place where they were with Fluttershy at the moment. He then sighed deeply as he then gave up, and limped back into the forest.
A few minutes later, he was near the big and dense tree, as he then climbed up on the rope. When he reached the altitude of the tree hole, and instantly got inside, and pulled the rope up, and dropped it onto the floor. He then sat with his pony companion, who was staring at him curiously, and excited for the results.
"Nothing." He said as he spread his arms to the sides helplessly.
Fluttershy then bit her lower lip; "From here it looked like the nuclear explosion, Miles." She pointed out as she then shivered a bit. Miles looked at her skeptically.
"Fluttershy, the Eggman's bots are not armed with any kind of nuclear weapons." He stated, as he then looked at her with a mocking smile on his face; "I mean, seriously, their height is an average height for mobians, and this isn't enough to have nuclear installations…"
*BOOOOOOOOOOM*
The thunder boomed over the forest, and provoked a strong shake of the tree by a strong shock wave. Miles and Fluttershy both screeched, as they then hugged each other tightly, and nuzzled against each other in fear. They both blushed madly by what just happened, especially Miles, who should've seen it coming.
"Ummmm… Miles?" Fluttershy said quietly.
"Don't say… a word…" Tails said, quiet as well.
"O-Okay..." Fluttershy said as she then blinked her eyes; "Can you hold me a little bit more?"
"Only if you'll do the same for me." Tails said, as they continued hugging each other. They were both shocked psychologically, and physically.
Meanwhile, with Twilight.
The Princess of Friendship could be seen laying in the ravine, with her eyes closed and her teeth bared and clenched tightly. She was conscious, though felt a strong ringing in her ears due to the massive thunder boom that struck her and everyone who were on her side just recently. She laid there unmoving, waiting till her ears recovered their hearing. She never dared to open her eyes, as if she was scared to open it and learn if she was dead or alive.
"Can anyone hear me?" Twilight heard someone's voice echoing behind her back; "Princess Twilight…" She again heard the voice, and that's when she dared to open her eyes. When she opened it, she saw a silhouette of a demolished robot laying there just a few inches away from her with its now dead forever. She gasped as she sat up sharply and backed away from the bot. She took a few breaths in/out, and that's when she felt someone's hand on her right shoulder.
"Princess Twilight." She heard a female voice, and slowly looked back over her left shoulder and saw the face of a bright yellow pony with red hair, who gave her a concerned look.
"Princess Twilight, are you alright?" She asked, as Twilight then sighed deeply, and stood up with a slight struggle. She had support from one of the rebel ponies, but shook her hands away due to her own pride.
"I can walk on my own, thank you." She said weakly, as she then grabbed her own head and shook it again. She then opened her eyes to see the forest after this mysterious explosion. She gasped when she saw a whole bunch of trees and buches uprooted. At least a dozen of now disabled walkers were lying unmoving on the ground, and perhaps, they were thrown by the shock wave.
To her surprise and happiness, there was no robot that reacted at this explosion as the sky was clean and quiet. Twilight then sighed and shook her head in a slight dismay. She suspected that the explosion was setted up by Shadow, but how could he do that. Did he have a bomb? IF he did what kind of a bomb was that? She regretted that she had no dosimeter in her pockets, or bag. She then looked up and stared towards the side where there once was a camp.
Meanwhile, the rebel ponies who survived the attack of the robots, all climbed up from the ravine. They gathered around Princess Twilight.
"What should we do now?" One of the ponies asked as he adjusted his clothes, "Should we go to Canterlot?"
"That would've been a right decision." Twilight said, as she then looked at her people and frowned at them; "But I have a mission on a task, and if it wasn't you… my partner would've still been alive." She said with a slight tremble in her voice; "And that means that you are now in my command, and you are going to help me to find my friends, who are also your heroes."
"We will do as you order, Your Highness." The male pony said as he then bowed to her; "We swear our lives." He said as he then kneeled. His movement was soon copied by other rebel Equestrians, too, bowed to the Princess of Friendship and bent their knees. Twilight reacted at this with a sigh, as she clearly saw that their intentions were sincere.
Ten minutes later. Twilight and the crew wandered carefully through the trees bent by the shock wave, and they saw that the destruction scale was insane. They were almost five hundred meters away from the explosion, but it still struck them, no matter how far away they were. Twilight spreaded the branches of the bush, and she found herself in the open glade, full of holes where the trees once stood. The ground still had a small grass, but even the bushes were uprooted.
The crew watched carefully for the diameter of a glade, and it was as large as two soccer fields. Only grass was lucky enough to not get blown. They then proceeded their way towards the centre of the newly formed field.
"I wonder if there's something left of our things?" One of the ponies asked; "There was a lot of food left in the camp, and this explosion… *sigh*..."
Twilight shook her head at this as she then lifted her eyes to the skies to see if there was any danger left up there. She saw the stars shining brightly in the skies and the moonlight seemed brighter tonight than anything. She could even swear that the sun doesn't shine as bright as this night's moon. She guessed whose work was that, and even guessed why exactly. She then sighed again, and looked forward to see if there was something left of the camp.
She then stopped and looked around the glade. There were numerous metal bodies laying all across the surface, but all of them were not working anymore, as they were now turned down forever. Whatever Shadow did, he accomplished his task.
"Alright…" She said, as she then looked at the ponies; "... Spread around the glade, and quickly look for any kind of supplies you can find. Food, clothes, weapons. Don't get out of anyone's sight. You all have five minutes, understood?" She asked, as the ponies nodded; "Then go." She commanded as the group of Equestrians then split up and spreaded around the glade to look for the remains of the camp's tents and the bags.
They were working in groups of three persons, so it would've been easier to defend themselves just in case. The lavender alicorn girl remained standing in place, as she kept look after them with a worried look on her face.
The rebel ponies were successful with their search. They found the hole where their things were laying in big numbers. One group found food, as the second one found a small portion of ammos and few firearms.
Several minutes later two groups out of three returned back to Twilight with huge bags in their hands.
"Princess, we are lucky enough to have some of our stuff left after the explosion." One said as he showed Twilight a bag.
"Is there enough supplies?" Twilight asked, to which another one smirked.
"More than enough to continue your searching." She said, as Twilgiht couldn't hide her smile of relaxation.
"Good, now… let's get out of here." She ordered; "We gotta find a place to stay for the night."
"Hey, come here everyone." Everyone suddenly heard a worried voice of a female pony. They all looked at the source of the voice, but only to see a group of three ponies standing over something and had their gazes fixed at this very thing. Twilight and the rest of the crew rushed there instantly to see what it was. They quickly overcame the gap between two parts of the group, and when they were through the crowd of two pony survivors, Twilight gasped in shock.
She and everyone else saw a certain dark Mobian hedgehog laying on the ground, unconscious, with his overall suit being torn in the upper parts. Twilight then fell onto her knees and grabbed his pulse to check on if he had any signs of life, or not. She felt soft and calm rhythmic heartbeats, and even heard breathing noises.
"He's alive…" She muttered in shock; "But… how?"
"How is that possible?" One of the rebel ponies asked, as she then walked over to Shadow. Twilight then frowned, and looked up at the rest of the survivors.
"Take him!" She said as she then stood up; "We're leaving!"
The rebels obeyed Twilight's orders, as two of them then walked over to Shadow, and picked him up with a heavy struggle as the Mobian was pretty heavy even for two stallions. They then proceeded their way towards the cave they found at the edge of the forest. They moved slowly, but competent enough to get where they needed to go.
The next morning.
Fluttershy was walking through the forest with a smile on her face, as she only had her towel that was wrapped around her body, snuggly tied around her two big breasts, which caused her to feel a bit of an arousal, while her shoulders and legs were exposed. She was humming a song under her breath, as she felt happy and her mood was high by only one thought that she soon will be home.
She approached thick bushes and spreaded the branches as she then went through them. All the while blushing nervously as she wanted to be careful not to get her towel snagged on the branches, as she wasn't even bold enough to walk around naked, even in a secluded part of the forest, if her towel got caught and got pulled off her body, as she navigated through the thicket of branches. Once she was behind the bushes, she looked at the thickets and nodded to herself. Her smile grew wider as soon as she heard the sound of the waterfall. She then smiled and giggled as she then ran there fast with her pretty bare toes caressed by the morning wet grass.
She then turned behind the corner, as she then ran on the shore of a small waterfall lake. When she was on the shore, she stopped, and let her happy pretty laughing blue eyes scan the waterfall and its lake. It was loud and it's noise was loud enough for her to feel safe around this place. She then nodded to herself, and dropped the bag with her things on the grass, as she then unwrapped the towel exposing her gorgeous body as her boobs bounced out, as she prepared herself for a morning swim.
That's when she heard splashes of water and male groans of euphoria. This made her wipe the smile off her lips as it was replaced by the expression of massive cringe and shame.
"Aaaaahhhhhh…" She heard Miles' voice; "That feels sooo good…" The last three words made her pick up a towel and wrap it around her own nakedness, as she then developed a deep redness on her cheeks. She then carefully looked at the lake over her right shoulder, but only to blush harder than before.
What she saw was naked Miles standing in the lake with his upper body exposed while his lower regions covered by a lake's water, and luckily for her, he had his eyes closed, while his hands massaged his hair. Wide grin of satisfaction shone brightly across his lips, as he kept groaning.
Seeing it as her chance, Fluttershy took a hold on the towel with her right hand, and used her left to pick up her things. She then started backing away from the shore to, keeping his eyes on him.
Tails kept enjoying the fresh and cold water, as he kept tempering himself with cold water. He used his hands to scratch his back, and his own ass, and all the time he had a wide grin on his face, happy to have water procedure after such a long time. He then opened his eyes as he began rubbing his ears, but when he gazed at the shore, he saw Fluttershy standing there, frozen like a statue, and having a grin of shame across her lips. And she only was in a towel, and nothing else.
Seeing her like this he blushed madly, both in admiration and shame as he himself was completely nude. Thankfully he had water to keep his lower parts covered.
The two kept gazing at each other for a few more moments, before Fluttershy dropped her things, and grabbed the towel with both hands. She then smiled awkwardly at Miles and giggled.
"Ummmm… Hi, Miles." Was the only thing she managed to say.
The fox guy blinked his eyes a few times as his eyes found it hard to focus on her face, as he kept lowering his gaze and fixing it on her long and beautiful legs. He blinked his eyes again as he eyes the girl from toes to face, and soon he looked into her eyes.
"Fl… Fluttershy…" He spoke awkwardly, as he backed away at the larger depth of the lake to keep himself covered by the water; "Mind me to ask you… why did you come here… *hickup*... so early?" He asked, to which Fluttershy blushed harder.
"I'm sorry… I… I… I… I didn't mean to…" She said as she gave him a look of regret; "You said…. Th… that you will finish in… fifteen minutes… and… I… I thought you… well… hehehe…" She giggled as she found it unable to finish her phrase as her mind kept her distracted by his perfectly toned chest and stomach. And those arms… they looked strong.
Tails blinked his eyes again; "Y-yeah… I guess… I… I… Heh…" He muttered as he spoke with temporary stuttering as he grinned at her awkwardly; "I… am… almost finished." He said, as he kept staring at her legs. That's when he returned back on the ground, when he saw suspicious movements behind a pegasi girl, and questioningly arched his eyebrows as he began watching this to see what it was.
"Yeah… I'm… I'll just go back to the tree hole and wait for your return." She said as she then prepared to leave; "I'm sorry… I… I… I'll see you later…"
"Fluttershy, stop!" Tails said, as he spoke in a loud whisper, to which Fluttershy widened her eyes and fixed her gaze on him. She saw him staring worryingly at him, and his arms reached out to her.
"Come here." He whispered again; "Quick…"
Fluttershy gasped; "W-What?" She asked, as she then blushed a bit; "You… I… I did not… expect you… you… to suggest something like that…"
"Fluttershy, please…" Miles spoke, as he looked at her almost beggingly; "Run at me."
"Ummm…" Fluttershy spoke, as she smiled awkwardly; "I… I don't know what to say… but… well… I… I'll tell you honestly, that… I… I like you, too… And I like you a lot… Ummmm… so… I guess it seems fair?"
"What?" Miles asked, as he had a look of massive confusion on his face; "No, that's not what I mean."
Fluttershy, however, as if haven't heard his words, and haven't paid any attention to his facial expressions, as she then smiled at him lovingly. She then dropped her towel on the ground, and her perfect curvy body was left naked. The fox guy dropped his jaw at what he saw, and put both of his hands on his nose as he felt like he was about to nosebleed. His eyes scanned her naked body from bottom to up, and he couldn't turn away. Just like he couldn't think at all.
Fluttershy had her teeth biting her lower lip, as she didn't use her hands to cover her big breasts and her nether regions, letting him see her nakedness. Though, she saw that he was frozen, and she thought that her movement provoked a negative reaction from him. She then covered herself as she developed a look of shame on her face.
"Ummmm… You…. don't… like… me?" She squeaked out, and as a reply, she saw Tails pointing his left hand's index finger at the direction behind her. She then gasped as she finally realized what he meant, and then she looked back with a corner of her eyes. That's when she heard heavy footsteps, and cracking branches. She looked towards Miles with a look full of fear.
Tails saw how scared she was now, and he knew she might fall into a panic stupor which could potentially block vital commands to her brain, and her legs might not move as a result. He reached his hand at her as if begging her to run at him. He knew that it was pretty hard, but he also knew that he was left with no other choice.
Meanwhile, Fluttershy ran on her toes towards the lake. She quickly closed the gap between her and the water, and soon, she was walking on the lake's bottom. She used her hands to chase away the water to increase her movement, and soon she reached the fox guy, as she attacked him with strong arms. She nuzzled against him tightly as she shivered heavily from both fear and cold.
Tails hugged Fluttershy as tight as he could, as he felt her bare naked body pressed up against his, as he then gestured to her that they're going to dive. Fluttershy nodded as she then held her breath. Miles holds his breath as well, as the two then took a dive.
Once under the water surface, the fox guy grabbed the girl's hand, as he pulled her after himself. Under the water, they could barely see a thing as they did not have at least one pair of underwater sunglasses. Miles used his non-injure tail to give them some extra help and speed up their swimming, while Fluttershy tried her best to not breathe.
Soon, the two swam up to the surface, and found themselves behind the waterfall. Dense water wall served them as a perfect cover to hide their silhouettes from the robot's thermal imager. Fluttershy coughed heavily, as she then performed a series of breaths in/out. After she recovered her breath, she again hugged her friend tightly, and nuzzled against him again, as she aimed her gaze full of horror towards the shore of the lake.
In the sunlight of the morning sun they saw a vicious silhouette standing at the shore of the lake right near the water. The silhouette is terribly reminiscent of MS robot Fluttershy and Tails saw yesterday before they turned their way towards the ruins of an old castle. They were lucky enough to notice the bot so quickly, and it was just about time for them to dive under the water surface which disguises their thermal silhouettes from the robot's thermal imager.
Fluttershy whimpered quietly as she then turned away and nuzzled against her friend's shoulder as if burying her face into his shoulder. She tightened her grip around him, again as if holding onto dear life. The fox guy of course answered her embrace with his own, as he then put his right hand at the back of her head. He as if tried to hide her in his arms, while his gaze was aimed towards the robot's silhouette.
The MS robot stood on the shore, as its eyes scanned the area of the lake. If you look at the lake with the eyes of the bot, you can see the scanning cursor running from bush to bush, and scan every single piece of grass of this area to see if there is any sign of life.
The machine then turned its head towards the bunch of clothes, and other things left on the shore by someone who dropped them.
"Scanning Process! Ankle Boots. Size: 43. Overall suit. Size: 110. Medical Walking Cane. Length: 105 centimeters." The Robot's computing voice spoke; "Owner: Unknown. Scanning process for the traces." The machine then began scanning the grass and the ground in the search for the traces, and it found those; "The traces are found. Analysis. The traces were left forty minutes ago by a Mobian man. The Race: presumably Fox. Most recent location: unknown."
When the robot finished scanning the male clothes, it changed its attention towards another bunch of clothes which laid a few meters away from the lake shore. It then approached the clothes, and began the same scanning process as recently.
"Scanning Process! Ankle Boots. Size 38. Overall suit. Size 110. Bathing Towel. Color: White. Length: 90 centimeters. Owner: Unknown. Scanning process for the traces." The robot then began scanning the grass; "Scanning process completed. The traces are found. The traces were left by an Equestrian woman. The Race identification: Impossible to identificate the race. Most recent location: Unknown. Analysis. The traces were left from three to five minutes ago. Possible location: unknown. Presumable area of search: Forty square kilometers."
After the robot conducted its final scanning analysis, it slowly approached the lake and began scanning its area with its thermal imager. It checked every single pixel in the area of the shore, and the lake, but found no thermal traces of possible owners of found clothes. It then switched to the infra-red vision, but found no red silhouettes around. The entire area was blue with the exception of some small red traces left by animals, and some trees.
The robot then switched its vision back to normal, as it began its final report.
"Report." It began; "Priority target of two possible intelligent lifeforms: Unknown. Mission: Find the subjects. Ascertaining the identity. Ascertaining the priority. First square is empty. Moving on for the next square."
The robot then launched its engines and soared slowly up as it soon lifted itself at an altitude higher than the forest. It then began soaring slowly over the forest and using its scanners to find any sign of an intelligent lifeform.
Meanwhile, behind the waterfall, Miles breathed out in relaxation when he heard the robot's engines, as he then began instinctively caressing Fluttershy's exposed back, and he felt that her wings were wide open, though he didn't know what it meant exactly, but he soon learned.
"It's okay." He whispered; "It's gone."
Fluttershy smiled as she kept her head resting on his shoulder. She instinctively began caressing his strong back and his soft shoulders. She was grateful for having him by her side at this very moment, and she could've given everything to stay in his arms as much longer as it was possible. She then kissed him on the cheek as a sign of her gratitude. Though, she couldn't say if she did so on purpose, or not, she still did so.
She then ceased to smile, and the expression on her face was replaced by a passionate, and then she gave him another kiss on the cheek. She then relocated one of her hands from his shoulder to the back of his head, and kissed him again. She began moaning lovingly, thus sending him the sound signals that she wants him.
Miles' eyes grew wide when he felt her kissing him on the cheek; "F-Fluttershy?" He asked quietly, and with a rasp in his voice. He, however, never tried to break their nude embrace, as he held her tightly, not wanting to let go of such a beautiful soul like her. He then remembered what she said before the MS robot appeared. She said that she likes him a lot, and he believed that even if Metal Sonic wouldn't appear she'd still think the same way. Though, it couldn't give her such a rollercoaster of emotions as she has now.
Fluttershy then finished kissing him on the cheek, as she then opened her eyes and lifted her head so her eyes would've made contact with his sky blue eyes. When she looked into his eyes, she saw him staring at her with the same desire she had, if not bigger. Subconsciously she decided to use it as a chance. Now or never. She kissed him passionately on the lips, as her eyes closed in ecstasy. She felt him accepting her kiss, and how his grip around her waist and back tightened. She guessed that he wanted to hold her, and so she wanted him to hold her.
She then grabbed his cheeks with both hands, and deepened her kiss. The Mobian accepted the girl's kiss with no argument, as he completely shared her surge of passion. His mind ceased to think and exercise, and all he could think at the moment was a beautiful, nude, and soft girl's body, and her lips were in an urgent contact with his own lips. He loved the feeling as much as he loved her. Did he know how much his life will change after this moment, or not… nobody cares. And he cared less than anyone.
The kiss of the two became more and more intense, and soon, Miles pinned Fluttershy softly to the rock, as his hands soon relocated from her back to her front curves. His hands found her chest, and soon they grabbed tightly both of her breasts. He began giving her a soft breasts massage, making her moaning into his lips and intensifying her kiss. He felt how tensed her body has become, and through her muffled moans she as if begged him to do more.
He then finally broke their kiss as his lips began slipping greedily across the perfect curvy lines of Fluttershy's naked body, and the first stop was her neck, as he did his best to taste her neck, and lick and kiss it. The pegasi girl moaned passionately because of his loving actions, and she felt an insane amount of desire overfilling her mind. She felt his lips kissing her neck, and his hands massaging her breasts, and she knew he's not going to stop there. And she didn't mind at all.
