Chapter 19: Blast Off

Today was the day!

It had taken about two weeks, but the ship was done, and ready for lift off.

And the blast off was gonna take place at Kame House.

Most of the group was all there, ready to see the small party that would travel to Planet Namek.

Eighter had had to go back to Jingle Village, but promised to stay in touch.

Nam was still back at his village, but wished the others luck.

Gohan had said goodbye to Videl and Erasa, since he didn't know how long he'd be gone, and wanted them to know he'd be back.

And Raditz….

…. Well….

Raditz and Maron were inside of a broom closet.

Locked from the inside.

With Raditz thrusting inside of Maron like a desperate horny beast.

Maron, "oh, oh Raditz! I'm so close!"

Raditz, "me to Maron, me to!"

You could hear them groan in pleasure as they climaxed from outside of the closet.

And the janitor was just mumbling to himself about it.

…. He was a little busy.

So, Roshi, Oolong, Puar, Tights, Turtle, Tien and Launch were there to watch them head off.

It would take about a month to get there, so the ship was stocked.

We see the ship's first three crew members standing there, waiting for the other three.

First was the, "captain", Bulma. Her hair was now shorter, with a red head-band. She had on a black and yellow space suit, with a retractable helmet built into it, and had a small suit-case that held her new robotic suit for her to use in case trouble arose.

Gohan was wearing his purple gi from the battle against the Saiyans, repaired by his mom and grandma's sewing skills. Gohan had also trimmed his hair slightly, though not by much. He had packed some other clothes, but wanted to start the journey with his gi.

Krillin was wearing a white shirt, light green and yellow jacket, and dark green pants with a red and blue baseball cap with his name on it. Krillin had packed some clothes to wear for the trip, with his orange go there for when they landed on Namek.

Krillin, "man, I can't believe we're doing this. Travelling to another planet. This is unbelievable!"

Bulma, "yeah, and you dressed like a kid."

Krillin, "well, I kinda just threw this on for the trip. What about YOUR outfit?"

Bulma, "it's a suit designed for being on another planet. I prepared for that."

Suddenly, they heard the engine of a hover car landing on the island.

Roshi, Launch, Tien, and Tights all backed up as it landed.

Out came the other three members of the crew, and the Ox-King to say goodbye to the group leaving.

Yamcha was wearing an orange jumpsuit, having the same mindset Bulma did about intergalactic travel.

Chi Chi wore an outfit similar to her old one she had as a kid, but it had a black skin-tight outfit underneath to cover more skin.

Chi Cha, like Gohan, wore the fighting gi she had during the battle against the Saiyans. Her hair was now cut into a bob-cut, which Krillin had to stop himself from laughing at.

Krillin, "what's with the hair cut, Moe Howard?"

Yamcha, "she wanted to try a new look, and that's the one she chose."

Chi Chi, "I think she looks nice."

Chi Cha, "a new adventure calls for a new look!"

Chi Cha left out the detail that Raditz had laughed at her a little when she and the others went to say goodbye. Luckily, he hadn't gone to see Maron yet, so they were able to see him.

And so, Chi Chi and her family joined Gohan, Krillin and Bulma on the door leading to the ship.

With that, everyone said their goodbyes.

Roshi, "safe travels to you all!"

Oolong, "don't bring back anyone dangerous!"

Puar, "stay safe Yamcha!"

Ox-King, "eat as much as you can, whenever you can."

Tights, "stay safe you guys!"

Tien, "good luck."

Launch, "try to make it back before the baby comes!"

Turtle, "good luck to you all!"

Bulma looked up and said, "Piccolo."

The panel rose upwards, taking the group of six inside the ship.

The crew slowly made their way around the place as Bulma went over to the ship's controls, and began powering the ship up.

Everyone else noticed the other sox seats that rose from the ground behind the captain's chair, one row of two, and behind it a row of three.

Krillin, "uh, where should we place our stuff?"

Bulma, "toss it on the ground for now and strap yourselves in."

Krillin got in the first chair on the right, with Gohan getting in the first chair on the left.

Chi Chi, Chi Cha and Yamcha sat in that order in their three chairs.

Soon, everyone was strapped into their seats as Bulma started the engines.

Bulma, "hold on tight everyone. Here we go!"

With that, the ship started up, and slowly started rising into the air. Everyone on the ground backed up and watched the ship rising into the air, higher and higher.

Everyone was gripping the arms of their chairs tightly.

Far off at the hospital, Goku could barely make out the silhouette of the ship.

Goku, "see you guys soon."

Within the span of seven minutes, the ship had successfully exited Earth's atmosphere, and was now gliding through space to its destination.

Planet Namek!

After another minute, Bulma announced, "alright everyone, you can get up and walk around the ship, bring your stuff to your rooms, etc."

Krillin was the first to get up, albeit a little wobbly.

Gohan seemed to take to the ship's environment a little easier.

Yamcha and Chi Chi were helping each other up as Gohan helped Chi Cha up.

Everyone was getting used to it, when they all turned to Bulma. She had slipped the space suit off, and now had a black and yellow flight suit of sorts.

Krillin, "uh, nice pajamas…."

Bulma, "these aren't pajamas you idiot, it's a suit for spade travel. It seems like Yamcha and I were the only ones to think to wear clothes appropriate for this."

Gohan, Krillin, Chi Chi and Chi Cha all backed away a bit at Bulma's tiny outburst.

Krillin whispered to Gohan, "uh, did we do something to tick your mother off?"

Gohan just shrugged, being just as confused as his friend.

And thus, the group had begun their journey towards Namek….

….

Ten days later….

The group had gotten accustomed to life on the ship after ten days. The fighters aboard the ship spent time metal training, in order to perfect their skills without damaging the ship.

Currently, that day, Bulma was lounging on a lounge chair in a gray sports bra and booty shorts that hugged her curves.

She was reading a magazine, bored out of her mind as they travelled.

In the first week of travelling, they ran into a space station of kids who had escaped from someone named, "Frieza."

But after that, things had gotten quiet on the trip.

Bulma suddenly yawned and stretched out on the chair.

She mumbled, "jeez, I had no idea how long this trip was gonna be. I've already read all of the magazine's I brought. Now what?"

Bulma stood up from her chair and grabbed a can of He-tap and quickly took a large sip of the energy drink.

She looked down at all of the other people in the ship.

Chi Chi and Yamcha were sitting across from each other, partaking in mental training.

Krillin was having a session of mental training with Gohan and Chi Cha.

Bulma, "you guys doing that strange image, er, mental training stuff?"

No answer.

Bulma, "woopty doo for you."

Within Chi Chi and Yamcha's mental training.

Chi Chi was currently dodging the punches from her husband, while blocking any strikes she wouldn't be able to maneuver around. The fight was going on and on as the couple tested one another's skills.

Eventually, Chi Chi got a hit in and knocked Yamcha away a few feet, and was able to suddenly blast at her husband with a burst of energy.

Meanwhile, during this, in Krillin's training with Gohan and Chi Cha.

Gohan and Chi Cha were currently dodging various energy blasts from Krillin. The Orin monk was running circles around the kids, forcing them to keep themselves on their toes.

The training seemed to go on for another two minutes before Gohan and Chi Cha were able to blast at Krillin, and as the attack rocketed towards him….

All of the fighters awoke from their training, panting heavily.

Krillin then noticed Bulma was starting to pick up the mess she made.

Krillin, "wow. Y'know Bulma, years ago, I wouldn't have imagined seeing you pick up a mess like that."

Bulma, "parenthood changes you Krillin. I had to get used to picking up after Gohan, so I'm used to picking up after myself and my family now."

Chi Chi, "I see the one thing that hasn't changed is the way you dress."

Bulma, "hey, I may be a mom and wife, but I'm still a delicate flower with the mind of a genius."

Yamcha, "still modest as ever."

Chi Cha and Gohan snickered as the rose to help Bulma, while Krillin and the other adults rose to help maintain other parts of the ship….

….

Meanwhile, many light years away.

We see an almost barren purple planet, with a few small stations around the planet.

This was Planet Frieza 79.

And flying to the capital one, was a single, lone, Saiyan pod.

The sensors within the facility suddenly picked up the signal of the pod.

Two men dressed in the armor worn by Raditz, Nappa and Vegeta were at a desk when they caught the signal.

One was a lizard-like creature, while the other looked human with yellow hair.

The lizard, "hey, I just got a signal from a pod. It's…. Vegeta's!"

The man, "what?!"

Immediately, several of these people ran outside to see the pod making a landing on the landing pad.

The man, "it's Vegeta."

The lizard, "but he's piloting a single craft. Where's Nappa?"

Everyone stood at attention as the pod landed.

But for several seconds, nothing happened.

A man who looked like a bear asked, "uh, shouldn't he have come out of that thing by now?"

The lizard, "wait a minute, hold on, his power level is near zero!"

The man, "what?!"

Everyone ran to the pod and forced it open, revealing the unconscious and brutalized form of Vegeta.

Within ten minutes, he had been run to the medical bay and put into a large vat of healing liquid in nothing but boxer shorts.

His vitals were steady as a short lizard man with a tuft of red hair was monitoring the Saiyan prince.

The doctor, "I don't know what he went through on that planet, but it must have been quite a lot to see him hurt like this.

Several minutes later, the tank was drained, and Vegeta was awoken.

He slowly got to his feet as the doctor watched him.

The doctor, "good to see you awake Prince Vegeta. You were out for quite awhile. Your vitals are back to one hundred percent, but unfortunately, your tail hasn't been able to grow back as of yet."

Vegeta, "only time will do that doctor."

Vegeta started flexing his hand as he walked past the doctor to the next room, where he grabbed a new suit of Saiyan armor.

The doctor, "are you quite alright Prince Vegeta? You seem a little…. Off."

Vegeta, "just getting my bearings. I had a really strange dream on my way here."

The doctor, "what was it about?"

Vegeta, "I dreamt that Nappa was an annoying ghost, haunting me long after he died on that planet we went to."

The doctor, "well that's…. Strange."

(Ghost Nappa was too funny for me to not make a joke about in this story).

Vegeta, "I need to speak with Lord Frieza about something important."

The doctor, "well, uh, he was here a little while ago, last I recall. I've been too busy to check or not."

Vegeta walked past the doctor. The doctor noticed that Vegeta had left his replacement scouter on the bench.

The doctor started following Vegeta saying, "uh, sir, you forgot your scouter!"

Vegeta, "leave it. I don't need it anymore."

The doctor just looked at the Scouter and then back to Vegeta confused.

Vegeta started down the hall, taking some sollice in the silent atmosphere around him. But that was interrupted by a snide and condescending voice saying, "hey, 'Prince of the Monkey's?' Going somewhere?"

Vegeta looked up to see a purple alien man with weird bumps on his head and whisker-like appendages on the sides of his mouth smirking at Vegeta.

This was Cui. A former rival of Vegeta's.

Little did Cui know was that Vegeta was now much stronger than him, but Vegeta didn't wanna spoil this information yet.

And Vegeta didn't wanna have any of his bullshit right now, so he tried moving around him, only to be met with a hand to his shoulder.

Cui, "what's the rush? Don't have the time to say hello?"

Kami, he was so condescending!

Vegeta, "if you wanna keep that hand, you'll let go of me right now."

Cui pulled back, surprised by how confident Vegeta seemed.

Vegeta, "maybe you can help me. Where's Frieza?"

Cui, "oh, you don't know?"

Vegeta, "know what?"

Cui, "Lord Frieza has taken his troops to find the Dragon Balls."

Vegeta, "wait, he's gone to Planet Namek already?!"

Cui, "of course, where else? He start3d if to their about a day ago."

Vegeta thought, 'b-but how? I didn't tell anyone about those things. Someone would've had to leave their scouter in, but who would….'

Vegeta suddenly darted past Quee to where his pod still was.

Cui, "where the Hell are you going?!"

As Vegeta quickly grabbed his scouter from the doctor as he darted into his pod yelling-

"GOD, I mean, KAMI DAMNIT NAPPA!"

(I had to throw that joke in there).

As the pod sped off in the direction, Cui ran out and yelled, "Vegeta!"

And so, he too ran to a pod in order to chase down his rival, and the two pods were now speeding towards Namek like bullets from a railgun….

Also, I'm gonna mention that space station and the fake Namek, but not focus on it too much. Kinda like with Princess Snake, and Goku falling into Hell.

Also, also, sorry for the shelter chapter, and that it took longer for me to finish this chapter. I've been getting ready to go on a trip to Myrtle Beach, so I've been a bit distracted.

Here's a note I wanna make. My basic idea for what's gonna happen after the Cell saga, is that I'm gonna use the DBZ movies as the groundwork for what happens next. Basically, combining stuff from GT and Super with the plots of the movies. Some of the movies will happen during certain points. Like, Android 13 will be sandwiched into the Android saga somewhere, as the Androids go into hiding for a few weeks after they first escape. Lord Slug and Cooler will be shortly after Namek during the wait for the Androids. Bojack will be after Cell when Gohan is older and in his relationship with Videl and Erasa. The World's Strongest, Tree of Might and Revenge of Cooler will be shortly after Cell, while Gohan is still a kid. And Broly will also be shortly after Cell, but with Gohan slightly older, and will be heavily different from both movies with Broly. With the basic plot being, Paragas wants revenge on Vegeta, and has slowly been building his own smaller empire from the remains of Frieza's. But, unknown to him, his son Broly, his mate Cheelai, and friend Lemo reach out to Goku and his friends to help stop his father, while trying to control his rage.

Also, the poll I just released now has three votes. 2 for the Bruce Timm DCAU, and one for Ben 10 Universe. Note, I'm kinda hoping that Ben 10 wins, but I wanna give each option a fair shot to the other choices.
