In Viral's lab, Kuro was struggling on the operation table in tight steel chains. But this time, he has finally returned to his mage form again.
"Hello, Kuro." Viral said. She approached to the dark mage ninja with a silver gray worm-like necklace with a circular blue symbols around it in her hands. "Today is your lucky day for Lady Shade and Amora. I may have turned you back to your mage form again, but it's time for you to welcome back to the Shadow Clan."
"Release me now before I'll tear your circuits clean, Viral!" Kuro barked.
"Ha, good luck with that."
Kuro suddenly looked up and noticed Amora standing above him with a sinister grin on her face.
"Welcome back home, brother." Amora said.
Amora gripped Kuro's head with her hands, preventing the dark mage ninja from turning away. Viral walked closer to the Kuro and implanted the mind controlled worm necklace on his neck.
"No!" Kuro screamed.
Viral and Amora walked out of the lab room, where Lady Shade and Crystallia were waiting for the results.
"Did it work, Viral?" Lady Shade asked.
"Not to worry, mistress. The upgraded collar made his mind to become obedient to you and Amora only." Viral explained.
"Like this." Amora said. "Kuro, step forward!"
Kuro got off from the operation table and walked slowly forward in front of everyone with jade green eyes.
"Kuro, attack Rhona." Lady Shade ordered Kage.
"Let's do this!" Crystallia said with a chuckle.
With a sly grin, Kuro charged forward with remarkable speed and easily took Crystallia down in nanoseconds.
"Stop, my son." Lady Shade ordered.
Kuro stopped attacking Crystallia and stood up to move away from her.
"You have done well, Viral." Lady Shade said. She walked past Viral and stood in front of the brainwashed Kuro. "But it's time for a real test. Kuro, destroy Sage, the K-5, the boy's best friend, and your two other pathetic sisters. Eliminate them at any cost."
"Yes...mother." Kuro said with a smirk.

In the Crete Fortress, Kirana and Sage charged each other with tessen training in the dojo. Kirana managed to overcome Sage, even though her mother was trying to fight her pain without any use of spells. Sage still needs some time to recover fully from Samara's brutal strike. Kirana got the upper hand to attack her mother, but she suddenly stopped making her move.
"You didn't attack me at my disadvantage. Why?" Sage questioned.
"Because you're still injured, mother." Kirana replied. "You have to recover."
"I guess you're right." Sage said softly. "As I want you to continue, I know that I can't force my pain to strain my strength and speed."
Sage sat comfortably on the floor and closed her eyes shut.
"Iyashi tengoku." Sage uttered.
Sage's hands suddenly glowed bright white and clasp them together as her entire body was engulfed in white energy. After the spell was finished, Kirana looked at her mother in awe.
"Mother, what kind of spell is that?" Kirana asked with a wondrous face.
"It is an ancient mystic technique known as the Healing Heaven." Sage explained. "Would you like to learn more?"
Kirana nodded her head with a smile and she sat down in front of her mother.
Camilla, Ariana, Talia, and Ezra were peering through the dojo door as they watched Sage and Kirana practicing the Healing Heaven.
"Man, they're really going at it." Talia whispered to her siblings.
"Mother still hasn't fully recovered." Ezra murmured.
"Samara messed her up pretty bad." Camilla added
"It's gonna take a while before she gets all her strength back." Ariana muttered.

Later that night, Leia and Kale exited the movie theater. Ever since the K-5 saved them from being mind controlled by Lady Shade, they have been living with Sage and her children as if they are their new family. Kale wore a long sleeved orange sweater, black jeans, and blue sneakers while Leia wore a metallic burgundy cowl dress with brown leather belt, brown leather fingerless gloves, and dark brown wedge boots.
"That movie was so awesome." Kale said with a smile. But his smile slowly turned into a frown. "But that still wasn't enough to keep my mind off those mind controlled collars."
"At least, Sage and her children were kind enough to take us in." Leia said plainly. "That's until we get a place of our own in this city."
"I just want Kuro back in their lives." Kale said sadly. "He has been living in a lie and I felt bad about that."
"You wanna know the best part about Kuro?" Leia asked.
"What?" Kale inquired.
"Not only has he had his true family, but us as well." Leia smiled. "Even against our master and our alley, I'm sure he'll turn up."
"I suppose you're right, Leia." Kale smiled back.

Back in the Crete Fortress, Kale slept on his new bedroom peacefully. His bedroom was very clean and neat with a boy type atmosphere, large circular-shaped bed with blue sheets, and matching curtains. As he was calmly dreaming in his sleep, it wasn't a good one. Kale looked around the environment and found himself in a world of complete and total darkness with faint mist surrounding around him.
"What's going on?" Kale said as he looked at his surroundings. "Where am I?"
Kale's eyes widened in shock as he saw a large wolf growling at his sight. The large wolf sped forward with its mouth wide open to strike Kale with its bite. That suddenly made Kale woke up and found himself back to his room.
"Oh, good. It was just a nightmare." Kale sighed in relief as he sat up on his bed.
Then, Kale heard something growling in front of her bed. He slowly moved close to the edge of his bed and found the same wolf snarling at him from his dreams, causing him to scream out loud.
Quickly, Norbit opened the bedroom door and stepped inside when he heard Kale's loud scream. His eyes watched as he watched Kale shuddered wildly on the floor with primal rage like a fierce animal. Kale's eyes turned pitch black and his teeth became dangerously sharp.
"Kale!" Norbit alarmed.
Norbit carried the primal Kale with his arms down the stairs into the living room, where he found his friends watching TV on the couch.
"K-5, we need help." Norbit alerted.
"Norbit, what's wrong?" Ezra asked as he and his sisters got up from the couch.
"Something is wrong with Kale." Norbit said.
"Quick, take him to the lab!" Ariana said.
Kirana, Camilla, and Talia helped carry Kale to Ariana's lab as they placed him on the lab table. Camilla and Talia casted a spell to restrain Kale in tight chains. As Kirana hooked six sensors on Kale's face, Ariana began typing key buttons on her laptop and saw the problem that made her eyes widen wide.
"Oh no." Ariana gasped shockingly.
Ezra recognized the bite as he looked at Kale.
"Kuro?" Ezra muttered.

Outside, Leia was wandering around the streets for some alone time. She stopped walking when she noticed that she was ambushed by a squad of Shadow Droids. Her eyes glowed in bright black and her fists engulfed in dark energy. In quick seconds, Leia easily trapped the Shadow Droids in a tiny ball of dark energy and crushed it in her hand that destroyed them in the process.
"Come on, we all know you stupid bots are easy to finish off." Leia scoffed with a plain face.
"But I'm not."
Leia gasped sharply as Kuro stood few inches in front of her. Leia noticed the mind controlled collar on Kuro's neck.
"Kuro!" Leia exclaimed. "Listen to me, I don't wanna hurt you."
"But I want to hurt you...very painfully." Kuro said with a cruel smile.
Kuro charged forward and fired a drilling beam of dark energy from her left palm at Leia, who moved out of the way with fast speed. Leia fired several spheres of darkness continuously from her hands at Kuro, who avoided the attack with remarkable speed. In quick minutes, Kuro and Leia battled each other with speed and combat. Leia summoned twenty arrows made of dark energy hovering around her as she fired each one towards Kuro.
"It's over, Kuro." Leia said.
"It's not until I say so." Kuro snarled.
Kuro created a large sphere of dark energy in his right hand and shot it at Leia, releasing several tentacles that wrapped around the dark mage kunoichi from the ground and restrained her movement. Kuro seized Leia's neck tightly with his wolf claws and bit her neck real quick before releasing her to the ground.
"What...what did you...do to me?" Leia asked as she felt her entire body shuddering suddenly.
"The shuddering is the effects of my bite." Kuro explained. "Then, you're fueling anger. And then, you're going berserk."
Leia's body began shuddering faster as she could feel her anger growing stronger to the point that her eyes turned pitch black and her teeth became dangerously sharp.
"Now, I'm going to turn the K-5 into feral animals." Kuro said with an evil smile. "One. By. One."

Back in Ariana's lab, Kirana and Talia gathered around the purple mage kunoichi as they watched her staring at Kale's condition on a wall of monitors from the computer screen until the screen began flashing red and the monitors started beeping rapidly when the feral Kale was struggling against the steel chains.
"His condition's getting worse!" Ariana gasped in horror. "The bite effect isn't showing any signs of stopping!"
"Bitten by a vicious wolf in his bedroom? That doesn't make any sense." Kirana said.
"Guys, we got a crazy vibe from Selina's aura." Camilla said as she entered the lab and held her K-Phone in alert. "I'm gonna check it out."
"Take Talia with you." Kirana said. "I'll stay here to help Ariana."
"Okay." Camilla said with a nod.
"Let's go." Talia said.
Camilla and Talia exited the lab as Kirana went back to Ariana.
"What is it, Ariana?" Kirana asked.
"None of the potions are working." Ariana said sadly. "If I can't come up with an antidote soon, I don't think Kale's normal state is gonna come back to her."
Ezra sighed and went to Norbit.
"Buddy, we're gonna need a spell to get to Kuro's head."

Outside, Camilla and Talia drove on their Magnolia Cycles as they located a signal from Leia's distress call in the alleyway.
"Okay, let's split up." Camilla said.
"Wait, do you hear that?" Talia asked.
Camilla and Talia remained quiet when they heard groaning in the area. They searched the sound of that groan and found Leia lying on the ground in her feral mode. Leia hissed and charged forward to attack the mage kunoichis, but she quickly got restrained tight by Talia's whip.
"Leia! What happened to her?" Talia cried.
"Looks like she got bit like Kale. Let's take her back." Camilla said as she started walking back to her Magnolia Cycle. "Hopefully Ariana will know what to do with her."
Before Talia could follow, she heard a low snarl and turned around to see a large wolf approaching slowly right in front of her. The orange mage kunoichi then screamed in fear with wide eyes.
"What now, Talia?" Camilla asked frustratingly.
Camilla slowly turned around and screamed shockingly as a large wolf began running towards her and her youngest sister in quick speed.

Back in the Crete Fortress, Ariana was still working on a cure for Kale's feral state on her computer. Then, Kirana felt vibrating coming from her K-Phone inside her waist belt and took it out in her hand. Ezra walked over to listen.
"Camilla, where are you? Camilla?" Kirana answered.
"Hello, Kirana." A dark voice spoke into Camilla's K-Phone. "Your sisters Camilla and Talia are right here with me."
Kirana's eyes widened in shock as she recognized that voice very quickly. Ezra's head started to hurt as he picked up something weird with Kuro.
"Kuro? Is that you?" Kirana asked worryingly.
"Kirana...something's wrong..." Ezra grunted.
"That is true, Ezra." Kuro explained. "My bite have transformed them into savage lab rats. If you don't come to save them in time, then Camilla, Talia, and Leia will permentantly be rage beasts. Come to the closed Butler Library and bring Kirana and Ariana with you. I'll be waiting for the both of you."
Then, Kirana hung up Camilla's K-Phone.
"Ezra, what happened?" Kirana asked, as she placed her hands on Ezra's shoulders.
"Kirana, I'm sorry." Ezra said as he looked down. "Kuro has the collar on. I tried to help, but I couldn't."
"Bro, listen to me, okay?" Kirana said. "I need you to stay here so you'll be safe."
"But, sis..." Ezra tried to say.
"It's okay." Kirana interrupted. "BRB."
Kirana went to Ariana and Ezra looked down in sadness as Norbit patted his head.
"It was Kuro." Kirana said to Ariana. "He got Camilla, Talia, and Leia captive."
"Then, you two must go and save them." Sage said as she walked into the lab with a calm face. "I'll stay here and casted the Healing Heaven to rid the feral effect out of Kale's system. Ezra and Norbit will stay here with me."
"Alright." Kirana said with a nod. She turned back to Ariana. "Come on, Ariana. Let's go save our sisters and our friends."

In the living room, Ezra sat on the couch with devastation and boredom. Norbit walked in and sat by his friend.
"You should have gone after them." Norbit said.
"My sisters? After I've failed to help and made Kirana totally hate me now? All I'll do is make things worse." Ezra responded.
"Kirana's feelings do not affect you. She cares about you as her youngest brother. I believe that you can do this." Norbit inspired.
Ezra widened his eyes and smiles at his friend.
"You're right, Norbit." Ezra said as he stood up. "I'm gonna go save my sisters and Leia!"

As Kirana and Ariana arrived one of the largest and beautiful libraries in New York City, they quietly walked inside the single neoclassical style library and looked around the place. But only Ariana was too fascinated by the large number of books on each shelves.
"This place is extraordinary." Ariana gasped excitedly. "I got to come here more often."
"Come on. This is the way." Kirana said.
Lee and Donna emerged to the secret passageway. As they were running close to their destination, a thin blue mist came out of nowhere and the mages made contact with it that made them slowly and suddenly dizzy as their vision went blurry a little bit.
"Um, Kirana? I...I don't feel...so good." Ariana said woozily as she held her head with one hand.
"Greetings, Kirana and Ariana." Kuro spoke loud in the air. "How are you two feeling? Nauseous? Dizzy?"
"I can almost feel...my brain melting." Kirana said weakly.
"Uh no. We've been infected." Ariana gasped in realization.
"We have to act fast." Kirana said sharply.
Kirana and Ariana sprinted forward down the hall while panting heavily out of their mouths.
"My bite is highly infected in the teeth, the claws, and even the air." Kuro explained in a loud echo. "It'll go through our skins in seconds."
Kirana and Ariana finally made their way in a large room, where they confronted the grinning Kuro up towards them.
"Oh sad, Ezra isn't here." Kuro said, sarcastically. "No worry, he'll come for you and he'll give us everything."
But Ariana fell to the floor unconsciously and started shuddering to develop pitch black eyes with dangerously sharp teeth.
Above the ceiling, Ezra snuck up and climbed across to the other shelves.
Kirana was about to close her eyes, but she was starting to chant the mage technique and recovered enough strength to summon her twin tessen from her chest birthmark.
In quick succession, Kirana fought against all of the Shadow Droids in her view. That caught Kuro's attention.
"Beating the bite? Impressive." Kuro grinned. He turned to the Shadow Droids. "Put Ariana with the others. I want to collect my trophies for my mother."
"Lady Shade is using the brainwashed collar on you, Kuro. Please, you have to fight it!" Kirana begged.
"Begging isn't gonna help you this time, Kirana." Kuro snapped as his entire arms transformed into wolf claws. "Within the hour, your sisters, your brother, and your friends will no longer have a free will of their own. Then, I will have my revenge when your mother come to save them. But first, I'll just have to finish you quickly."
"Not without me."
Kirana and Kuro looked above them to see Ezra with his shield, before he jumped down and landed in front of Kirana.
"Ezra, what are you doing?! Get out of here!" Kirana cried.
"I knew you'd be here quick." Kuro said to Ezra, with a smirk.
"I'm here to get my team and go." Ezra said, with a warning glare.
"Oh, you'll get them if you can beat me." Kuro answered.
"There's no other way around this, is there?" Ezra asked, with a sigh.
"You know the rules, Ezra." Kuro responded. "It will be my pleasure to finish you first, myself."
Kuro got his weapon out and Ezra stood his ground. However, Kirana couldn't let this happen. The fight between her two brothers would be one battle that she could not accept!
"NO!" Kirana shouted, before she grabbed Ezra's hand. "Yūgo!"
Suddenly, Kirana and Ezra fused into a mage fusion. The mage fusion had blue and white hair tied in a very long French braid, sapphire eyes, fair skin, and rose pink lips. She was also wearing a cyan dress with a royal blue jacket, a blue belt on her waist, and blue shoes.
"The K-5 fusion we have been waiting for!" The mage fusion cheered.
"What the-?" Kuro gasped. "Who are you supposed to be?!"
"Oh, um, my name could be..." The mage fusion smiled. "Abigail."
"Alright." Kuro groaned in annoyance. "Let's go, me and you!"
Kuro and Abigail charged forward as they clashed together. They both fought against each other with speed and strength, but unfortunately Kuro got the upper hand with his clawed slashes as Abigail was still too weak to fight him back until she quickly got bitten again.

Back in the Crete Fortress, Sage carried the feral Kale into the dojo and placed him gently on the floor. She sat on the floor and closed her eyes, so she can get rid of the feral effect completely.
"Iyashi..." Sage chanted. "Tengoku."
On the last word, Sage opened her eyes with a glowing stare. Suddenly, a massive white energized serpentine dragon began to materialize from Sage's body and soared down inside Kale's feral body, causing the dark alien to toss and turn in pain. Kale slowly struggled and roared, showing his sharp teeth up at the white mage. Sage jumped slightly, but she continued to focus on the healing process on Kale. After few minutes of healing, Sage finally healed Kale as the serpentine dragon went back to the white mage's body.
"Hello, Kale." Sage said softly.
"You did it, Sage." Kale smiled as he hugged Sage tightly. "Oh, thank you."
Sage smiled and hugged Kale back.

Back in the fight, Abigail and Kuro continued their one-on-one battle. Abigail was able to keep up with Kuro's extreme speed, even though she was trying to stay strong from the bite's rapid shaky effects. But Kuro slashed Abigail's limbs multiple times with his wolf claws.
"You can't ignore the feeling of the effects forever, you two." Kuro stated. "You're done! Now, stand down and accept defeat!"
Abigail panted for a moment, knowing that her brainwashed brother was right. But she wasn't really giving up that easily. She slowly closed her eyes and breathed in.
"Iyashi tengoku." Kirana chanted. "Iyashi tengoku, Iyashi tengoku, Iyashi tengoku."
As Abigail opened her eyes with a glowing stare that confused Kuro for a moment. Two sudden large blue and teal serpentine dragons with two limbs with three-clawed hands and two slanted glowing blue and turquoise eyes materialized out of Abigail's chest and back birthmark and began hovering right above her. Kuro's eyes widened wide in shock and astonish when he saw the giant dragons staring dangerously down at him.
"What is the meaning of this? What are you doing?" Kuro demanded.
The dragons roared loudly and soared down inside Abigail's body, increasing the blue and teal mage fusion's speed and power as she simply pulled her twin blade sword in her offensive stance. As Kuro was surprised at the whole thing, he glared at Abigail and went forward to attack her with his wolf claws. But unfortunately, Abigail delivered a flurry of blue and teal energy slashes at Kuro that sent the dark mage ninja flying to the ground unconscious. Abigail also destroyed the Shadow Droids by throwing her sword at them like boomerangs. The sword disappeared from her palms as Abigail ran over to see that Camilla, Ariana, Talia, and Leia are completely fine in their unconscious state. Abigail suddenly unfused into Kirana and Ezra.
"Now, it's time for you to come back home, Kuro." Kirana said.
Kirana turned around to see Kuro was gone out of the room.
"No...Kuro." Kirana said sadly.
Ezra looked down in sadness for his sister.

Back in the Crete Fortress, Kirana and Sage both performed the Healing Heaven technique to heal Camilla, Ariana, Talia, and Leia as two large mystical energized serpentine dragons flew back into Sage and Kirana's bodies after the healing process was complete. Camilla, Ariana, Talia, and Leia started to recover from their feral state.
"Man, that wolf bite was worse than any other bites I've ever experienced." Leia groaned as she sat up from the floor.
"You said it." Camilla and Talia concurred as they rubbed their heads.
"It wasn't really wolves that almost took us out." Kale said sadly. "It was Kuro."
Ezra then walked out with Norbit following behind him.
"He's back under Shade's control." Ariana noted. "She's the one responsible, not Kuro."
Sadly, Kirana exited the dojo into the living room. Sage noticed her oldest daughter's and youngest son's sadness and followed Kirana into the living room.

In Ezra's bedroom, the teal mage ninja laid down on his bed with his face on the pillow in guilt. But, Norbit sat him up and Ezra looked up at his robot friend.
"You should feel proud of yourself and Kirana for saving the others. Would you like me to list all the stress relief cures?" Norbit said.
"It's fine, Norbit." Ezra reassured. "But I have to accept that Kuro needs our help, even if Kirana goes insane about him."
"A girl can not be insane of an opposite gender." Norbit said.
"It's just an expression." Ezra corrected. "I should go out there and say something to her."

In the living room, Sage went to Kirana's side.
"You did a great thing tonight, Leona." Sage spoke softly. "You saved everyone. You should be enjoying your victory."
"Not everyone." Kirana said as she looked at the ground. "I failed to snap Kuro out of Shade's control. And I hurt Ezra's feelings, he's probably a wreck because of me. I'm so sorry, mother."
"We saved him once, Kirana. I know we can save him again." Sage said as she placed her right hand on Kirana's left shoulder. "But you have show a great gift as a healer. I am proud of you, my daughter. And Ezra will look up to you, be there for you, and encourage you like he does for your sisters. That is what makes both of you strong family members."
That's when Ariana, Camilla, and Talia walked into the living room and Ezra and Norbit walked in from the bedroom hallway. Kirana walked over to Ezra and kneeled to his level.
"Kirana, look I'm sorry about-." Ezra stuttered.
Kirana interrupted Ezra by pulling him in a hug. Ezra stopped talking and hugged his eldest sister back.
"I'm the one who's sorry." Kirana said as she pulled away and looked at Ezra. "I shouldn't have set you aside like that. Can you forgive me?"
Ezra widened his eyes and nodded with a smile.
"Hey, Kirana. We just wanted to thank you and Ezra for saving us." Ariana grinned.
"Yeah. We owe everything to you." Camilla smiled.
"Plus, you did it solo. None of us could've ever done that." Camilla pointed out.
A rare smile appeared slowly on Kirana's face.
"Maybe you're right. Tonight was a definite win." Kirana smiled as she looked at Sage with a smile and wrapped her arm around Ezra.
